기후변화에 따른 대청댐 유역의 유출 영향 분석 (Effects of Climate Change on the Streamflow for the Daechung Dam Watershed)

  • 온실기체의 증가에 따른 기후변화로 인해 유역에서의 물순환이 과거와는 다른 패턴을 보이고 있다. 그러나 현재의 수자원 계획 및 관리에는 기후변화의 영향이 포함되어 있지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기후변화의 영향이 유역의 물순환에 어떻게 영향을 주는지를 검토하였다. 본 연구는 기존의 여러 가지 배증 $CO_2$상태의 GCM(General Circulation Model) 모의결과를 이용하여 기온 및 강수량 자료를 Markov 연쇄에 의해 모의발생 하였다. 또 강우-유출 모형을 이용하여 100년동안의 일단위 유출을 계산하였다. 그 결과 GCM 시나리오별로 연평균기온은 +3.2∼+4.6$^{\circ}C$, 연평균강수량은 -7∼+8%, 연평균유출은 -14 ∼ +7 % 그리고 기온 1$^{\circ}C$ 변화에 따른 잠재증발산량은 +3∼+4 %의 변화를 보였다. 기후변화에 따른 영향의 평가는 GCM 모의결과에 크게 의지하지만 유황분석결과 기후변화에 따른 유출의 변동가능폭은 현재 상태보다 커질 것으로 예상된다.

동판교 신도시의 물순환 체계 구축방안 (A Study on the Establishment of Water Circulation System for the Eastern Pangyo New Town)

  • This study was done to provide a case model with a concept of environmental integration based on the water circulation system. Area of interest (AOI) is the Eastern Pangyo New Town area, which has several advantages in adaptation of a water circulation system. The AOI has a potential of maintaining water resources, and has a good condition to construct the water circulation system. Research done for the purpose of the establishment of the water circulation system in the Eastern Pangyo New Town shows the following. The main sources of water supply in the water circulation system in the Eastern Pangyo New Town is from two subway stations and runoff water, along with the natural water flowing from the mountains, rain water, and stream water. It was determined that more than 35,000 tons of water would be needed for the creation of water circulation system at the Eastern Pangyo. If the creation of infrastructure for the use of runoff and rain water as well as the periodic management can be provided, it can serve as the new model for a new city with water circulation system. In addition, since the Eastern Pangyo New Town water circulation system can secure enough amount of water resources, natural drainage system (NDS) in which it can be in dry condition in non-rainy days, is applied and connected to the typical waterways. Such water circulation system has many positive aspects including the wise use of water resources, and providing wild Life animals corridors and habitats. Also, the water circulation system can lead to the environmental education to the residents and visitors on environmental awareness of the water circulation system and their environment.

SCS 유효우량 산정방법 적용을 위한 선행토양함수조건의 재설정(장평유역을 중심으로) (Revised AMC for the Application of SCS Method)

  • In this study, the conceptual foundation and development process of the Antecedent soil Moisture Condition(AMC) in SCS runoff curve number method are reviewed. Although the runoff volume is very sensitive with AMC condition, the AMC class limits developed in SCS(1972) are used in rainfall-runoff analysis without careful consideration. Tn this study, following the SCS curve number development process, rainfall-runoff characteristics of the Jang-Pyung subbasin subject to the Pyung-Chang River basin are analyzed to evaluate the reasonability of the AMC class limits at present. The New AMC class limits are proposed by the sensitive analysis of the antecedent rainfall - curve number value. As a result, the classification value of AMC-I with II is 22mm of antecedent 5-day rainfall amount, and the classification of AMC-II with III is 117mm in growing season. When the New AMC class limits are applied to Jang-Pyung subbasin, AMC probability distribution shows that the AMC-II has increased remarkably even though the AMC-I has a little higher value. But the AMC-III has the smallest one. According to the conceptual basis of the curve number method, the AMC probability distribution, the New AMC class limits adopted, gives reasonable results.

양수장 지구 광역논으로부터 영농기간 영양물질의 유출 및 물질수지 (Water and Nutrient Balance of Paddy Field Irrigated from a Pumping Station during Cropping Period)

  • The study was carried out to investigate the water balance and losses of nutrients from paddy fields during cropping period. The size of paddy fields was 95 ha and the fields were irrigated from a pumping station. The runoff loading was the highest in June because of the high concentrations of nutrients due to applied fertilizer, When the runoff Bosses of nutrients were compared to applied chemical fertilizer, it was found that 39.1 % to 42.5 % of nitrogen lost via runoff while runoff losses of phosphorus account for 14.5 % to 17 % of the total applied amount during cropping period. When the ratio was calculated between nutrients losses by infiltration and the applied of chemical fertilizer, two year results showed 9.1% to 10.8% for nitrogen and 0.5% for phosphorus, respectively.

토지이용면적을 고려한 LID 규모 산정 및 우수저류지 적용에 따른 유출저감 연구 (A Study on the Runoff Reduction According to the Calculation Method of the LID Scale Considering the Land Use Area and the Application of Stormwater Storage Basin)

  • 전 지구적으로 기후변화 및 도시화로 인해 도시지역에서 물순환 건전성에 대한 문제가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 LID 기법 연구 및 개발사업 시 도입이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 LID 기법의 효율성을 검증하기 위해 많이 사용되고 있는 SWMM 모형을 이용하여 부산광역시 내 신도시의 일부지역을 구축하고, 빗물관리 목표량 산정 및 LID 규모 산정방법 제시를 통해 도시 물순환 효율성을 극대화하는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 또한, 도시개발 사업 시 대상지 면적 대비 개발이 많이 일어나는 경우 우수저류지를 이용한 유출저감 효율성을 분석하였다. 소유역별로 맞춤형 LID 규모를 산정하여 LID 적용 후 유출량과 첨두유출량은 각각 86.8 %, 69.5 %의 저감효과가 나타났으며, 우수저류지의 적용에 따라 0.5 m3/s에서 4.9 m3/s의 첨두유출량 저감효과 및 8분에서 10분가량의 지체시간 지연효과가 나타났다.

  • Operation of experimental site on the rural water is necessary to research on the effective development and management of agricultural water. Hydrological data on the watershed runoff, reservoir storage, irrigation and drainage are measured and accumulated. For the monitoring system of the experimental site, four rainfall gauging stations and twenty-six water level gauging stations are established and operated. Analysis of measured data are processed for rainfall amount and intensity, water level and discharge.

  • It is unreasonable to calculate the amount of agricultural water use by applying unit demand method, because it is different from other water use due to the return flow and reuse in the recycle of watershed. Data from irrigation pumping station and reservoir were analysed. Factors for water balance are precipitation, evapotranspiration, percolation, runoff, and management loss, etc. Here in the study, the amount of agricultural water was defined in the way of three different categories. First one is "Gross water" including evapotranspiration, percolation, and management loss. Second one is "Agricultural water" including Gross water and effective rainfall. Third one is "Broad water" which is abstracting the return flow from Agricultural water.

도로상의 비점오염물질 저감을 위한 초기 우수유출수 처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Early-stage Storm Runoff Treatment for the Reduction of Non-point Pollution Materials on the Road)

  • The object ofthis study was to test for STORMSYS process that composed Catch Basin and Stormsys(three units: vortex solids separator, filter media bed and vegetated filter strips). It could be applied to treat the first-flush non-point pollution materials on the road(especially, motorway). This study investigated that the runoff characteristics of non-point pollutions containing the heavy metal(Fe, Zn and Cu) by rainfall showed relatively high pollution concentration in the early-stage storm runoff on the road, which seems to be caused by the vehicular traffic, and showed the rapid reduction of pollution concentration on the basis of about 5mm rainfall volume. As the number of the non-rainy days were increased, the pollution concentration by storm runoff was increased, also. As a test result of this process, the average removal efficiency of BOD, $COD_{mn}$, SS, T-N and T-P over the testing period were 92.7%,88.6%,97.4%,93.0% and 93.3%, respectively. Also, the average removal efficiency of n-Hexane, Fe, Zn and Cu were 86.7%, 96.1%, 84.4% and 78.4%, respectively. As shown in the characteristics of storm runoff, the non-point pollution materials have high pollution concentration in the early-stage storm runoff on the road, the installation of STORMSYS process is expected to reduce considerable amount of non-point pollutions.

Application of the Artificial Neurons Networks Model uses under the condition of insufficient rainfall data for Runoff Forecasting in Thailand

  • To estimate and forecast runoff by using Aritifitial Neaural Networks model (ANNs). it has been studied in Thailand for the past 10 years. The model was developed in order to be conformed with the conditions in which the collected dataset is short and the amount of dataset is inadequate. Every year, the Northerpart of Thailand faces river overflow and flood inundation. The most important basin in this area is Yom basin. The purpose of this study is to forecast runoff at Y.14 gauge station (Si-Satchanalai district, Sukhothai province) for 3 days in advance. This station located at the upstream area of Yom River basin. Daily rainfall and daily runoff from Royal Irrigation Department and Meteorological Department during flood period 2000-2012 were used as input data. In order to check an accuracy of forecasting, forecasted runoff were compared with observed data by pursuing Nash Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE) and Coefficient of Determination ($R^2$). The result of the first day gets the highest accuracy and then decreased in day 2 and day 3, consequently. NSE and $R^2$ values for frist day of runoff forecasting is 0.76 and 0.776, respectively. On the second day, those values are 0.61 and 0.65, respectively. For the third day, the aforementioned valves are 0.51 and 0.52, respectively. The results confirmed that the ANNs model can be used when the range of collected dataset is short and insufficient. In conclusion, the ANNs model is suitable for applying during flood incident because it is easy to use and does not require numerous parameters for simulating.

  • The effect of fertilizer applicatioin on ponded and percolation water in paddies were evaluated at the field plots of the Chungbuk National University for irrigation period. The chemical fertilicers were applied to the study polts at an average application rate of 77, 110, 165kgN/ha, respectively. The concentration of T-N , T-P and COD in ponded water greatly depends on the amount and timing of fertilizer applied. Therefore, the decrease in the amount of fertilizer and proper water management may be needed to decrease in the amount of fertilizer and proper water management may be needed to reduce the runoff loading.
