원유수입과 환율변동성 (Petroleum Imports and Exchange Rate Volatility)

  • This paper presents an empirical analysis of exchange rate volatility, petroleum's import price and industrial production on petroleum imports. The GARCH framework is used to measure the exchange rate volatility. One of the most appealing features of the GARCH model is that it captures the volatility clustering phenomenon. We found one long-run relationship between petroleum imports, import price, industrial production, and exchange rate volatility using Johansen's multivariate cointegration methodology. Since there exists a cointegrating vector, therefore, we employ an error correction model to examine the short-run dynamic linkage, finding that the exchange rate volatility performs a key role in the short-run. This paper also apply impulse-response functions to provide the dynamic responses of energy consumption to the exchange rate volatility. The results show that the response of energy consumption to exchange rate volatility declines at the first month and dies out very quickly.

금합금관연이 가토치근막에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON EFFECTS OF GOLD ALLOYS CROWN MARGIN IN THE RABBIT'S PERIODONTIUM)

  • Histochemical observations on the effect of gold alloys crown margin in the periodontal membrane were caried out by use of rabbits. The animal were setted with gold alloys crown on the incisor teeth. The cervical margins were given extence into gingival sockets. The animals were sacrificed at the 30 days experimented period. Specimens of tissue were obtained from the mandibular incisor teeth with jaw. All tissues were fixed immediately in 10% neutral formalin solution. Different histochemical staining methods for the determination of fibrous components were the Mallory-Heidenhain Bielschowsky-Gomori, Gomori's aldehyde fuchsin. Periodic acid-Schiff reaction and Hematoxylin eosin stanin method. The results were as follows. The periodontal membrane is composed primarily of collagenous fibers and fibrous component run functional arrangement but in lower gold content groups, horizontal fiber groups were irregularly run. Elastic fibers were obligue run in experimental groups. There were no significant differences in reticularfibers in distribution.

부모의 양육행동에 따른 청소년의 성격 특성이 가출행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Parental Child-rearing Behavior upon Adolescents with Personality Traits and Runaway Behavior)

  • This study was designed to look at the relationships between parental child-rearing behavior and personality traits and run-away behavior of youths. For the purpose, this study compared 156 youth from the juvenile correctional systems, and 146 youths from high-schools. The additional focus was to find personality differences between runway youths and non-runway youths, and the effects of parental child-rearing behavior. The findings were as follows; First, high caring and low overprotection, among parental child-rearing behavior, was found to have effects upon adolescents with positive personality factors, whereas parental low caring and high overprotection effected upon negative personality factors among youths. Second, in relationship between runaway behavior and personality factors, it was found that youths with positive meaning in personality factors turned out to be less likely to run away from home, whereas those with negative meaning in 16PF were more likely to run away. Lastly, adolescents in high caring and low overprotection state with parents, proved to have high scores in personality factors, and low probability in runaway behavior.

Nitrogen Removal and Behavior of Soluble Microbial Products (SMP) in the MBR Process with Intermittent Aerobic Condition

  • A lab-scale submerged membrane bio-reactor (MBR) with intermittent aeration was carried out for investigating the behavior of soluble microbial products (SMP). The SMP concentration of mixed liquor at Run 1 accumulated immediately at the end of running and biodegradable SMP converted into non-biodegradable SMP, but it did not occurred at the Run 2 and 3. The SMP formation coefficient (k) at the anoxic phase was a little higher than oxic phase, and the lowest k was investigated at Run 3. The combination of biological denitrification with the MBR Process was advantageous in the prevention of membrane bio-fouling.

  • 부체의 장주기동요, 연안구조물과 계류선의 파괴 등과 같은 역기능으로 인해 파군현상의 정확한 해석은 시급한 과제라 하겠다. 본고에서는 연안계에서 발생하는 파랑과 가장 근접한 비선형불규칙 파랑계를 산정하여 해안구조물의 피로거동에 지대한 영향을 미치는 파군당 파랑의 수와 해안구조물의 first excursion failure mode를 결정하는 high run에서의 파랑수를 중심으로 파군현상을 해석하였다. 해석과정에 mapping technique과 유의파경사를 perturbation parameter로 섭동이론이 사용되었다. 해석결과 Gaussian wave계에서 균등분포하는 것으로 알려진 위상함수는 평균값 주위에 집중분포하였고, 그 정도는 비선형성이 증가할수록 심화되었다. threshold crossing rate의 경우 비선형성이 심화될수록 평균해수위보다 큰 쪽으로 분포형이 이동하였으며 파군당 파랑수와 high run에서의 파랑수도 비슷한 경향을 보여 최근 설치범위가 심해쪽으로 확대되는 해안구조믈의 경우 피로거동에 대한 보강이 요만된다.

  • The Mechanical properties of steel in hot strip mill were associated with the alloy composition, plastic deformation, cooling history and so on. In the case of the same alloy composition and deformation conditions, cooling history on ROT (run out table) is the main factor in affecting mechanical properties of steel, especially, in carbon steel. On ROT, the steel undergoes under various kinds of cooling conditions such as radiation, convection by air, water and wetting zone. The coiling temperature (CT) of the steel is also important factor in affecting mechanical properties. But with the same CT, the mechanical properties of steel can be different because the temperature history of cooling is more important factor than CT itself. In this study, we have studied the relations between temperature history and mechanical properties of steel and then the predicted mechanical properties have compared with the measured values.

  • A finite element-based, integrated process model is presented for coupled analysis of the thermal and metallurgical behavior of the strip occurring on the run-out-table in hot strip rolling. The validity of the proposed model is examined through comparison with measurements. The models capability of revealing the effect of cooling pattern on strip temperatures and the optimal cooling pattern are demonstrated through a series of process simulation. In order to improve strip shape and control temperature history of thickness direction for strip during ROT cooling.

PCB드릴링용 공기베어링 스핀들의 런아웃(RunOut)에 따른 가공 홀의 형상변화 (Drilled Hole Variation of Air Bearing Spindle for PCB according to RUNOUT)

  • In this study, we measured cylindricity and Runout of the air bearing spindle, and tested PCB(printed circuit boards) drilling with 0.4mm micro drill at 90,000rpm and 110,000rpm in order to obtain drilling hole error. Results are as follows; The air bearing spindle's Runout was not so high within $10\mu{m}$ from 20,000rpm to 80,000rpm but it grew after 80,000rpm. Drilling hole size error was 9% at 80,000rpm and 12% at 110,000rpm because of spindle's Run out. Drilled hole shape falsified more 110,000rpm than 90,000rpm.

  • There are significant nonlinearities and uncertainties in hard disk drive actuators. In particular, pivot bearing nonlinearity and repeatable run-out make track-following control difficult as track density increases. In this paper, we design a robust track-following controller using a robust deterministic control scheme in which the pivot bearing nonlinearity and repeatable run-out are considered as uncertainties. Simulation study is conducted to evaluate the control performance of the proposed control scheme.

  • High speed machining aims to raise the productivity and efficiency by making more precise and higher value-added products than any other machining method by means of the high speediness of spindle and feed drive system. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the run-out of endmill on the dimension precision of workpiece and to obtain the fundamental data on high speed machining which is available by machining the side of Al-alloy with solid carbide endmills in high speed machining center and by measuring dimensions and surface roughness. From the results of experimentation following are obtained ; if spindle speed is ultra high in conditions that radial depth of cut and feed per tooth are very small highly precise and accurate products are to be made efficiently with high feed rate. and so we can raise productivity.
