웨이블릿을 이용한 QRS complex 검출 알고리즘의 고정 소수점 연산 최적화 (Fixed-point Optimization of a QRS complex Detection Algorithm Using Wavelet Transform)

  • 본 논문에서는 웨이블릿 변환을 통하며 QRS complex를 검출 하며, 32비트 고정 소수점 연산이 가능한 프로세서에도 동작하도록 알고리즘 최적화 기법을 제시한다. 먼저 입력 ECG 신호를 밴드 패스 필터를 통과 시키고, 3개의 서로 다른 웨이블릿 함수를 하나로 병합한 웨이블릿 함수를 이용하여 웨이블릿 변환을 하며, 다음으로 시간 평균 함수를 뒤에 마지막으로 QRS complex를 검출 한다. 제안 알고리즘은 MIT-BIH arrhythmia database에 적용하여 검증한다. 모든 과정은 32비트 고정 소수점 연산으로 구현되며, 삼각함수 같은 복잡한 연산은 테이블화 하였다. 검출 알고리즘은 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 평가 한다.

트리 구조를 이용한 연관규칙의 효율적 탐색 (An Efficient Tree Structure Method for Mining Association Rules)

  • We present a new algorithm for mining association rules in the large database. Association rules are the relationships of items in the same transaction. These rules provide useful information for marketing. Since Apriori algorithm was introduced in 1994, many researchers have worked to improve Apriori algorithm. However, the drawback of Apriori-based algorithm is that it scans the transaction database repeatedly. The algorithm which we propose scans the database twice. The first scanning of the database collects frequent length l-itemsets. And then, the algorithm scans the database one more time to construct the data structure Common-Item Tree which stores the information about frequent itemsets. To find all frequent itemsets, the algorithm scans Common-Item Tree instead of the database. As scanning Common-Item Tree takes less time than scanning the database, the algorithm proposed is more efficient than Apriori-based algorithm.

  • Mobile positioning measurement is the most important technology for Location Based Services in the cellular networks. Generally, we are expecting to use GPS to guarantee high accuracy of the mobile position, A CDMA network-based technique for the Mobile Station position calculation needs to be implemented in the cdma2000 network whether the handsets have GPS or not, The most reliable methods of the network-based location technologies are based on the estimation of time of signal traveling between MS and B18 in a network whose coordinates are identified, Other signal parameters such as the power of the received signal and the signal arrival direction cannot be used as main data for a location system because adoption of only the signal parameters will not meet the FCC requirements, In practice, the estimates of the time of signal propagation between MS and BTS always have errors resulting from low-resolution power of measurements and multi path signal propagation, This paper describes the combined network-based location technology in the cdma2000 1× necessary to meet US FCC requirements. The issues of a calibration table and statistic processing based on the pilot strength as well as combined network-based location technologies(TOA/ TDOA) will help to achieve higher location accuracy than specified in the US FCC Rule.

에듀테인먼트 로봇을 위한 소리기반 사용자 감성추정과 성장형 감성 HRI시스템 (Sound-based Emotion Estimation and Growing HRI System for an Edutainment Robot)

  • This paper presents the sound-based emotion estimation method and the growing HRI (human-robot interaction) system for a Mon-E robot. The method of emotion estimation uses the musical element based on the law of harmony and counterpoint. The emotion is estimated from sound using the information of musical elements which include chord, tempo, volume, harmonic and compass. In this paper, the estimated emotions display the standard 12 emotions including Eckman's 6 emotions (anger, disgust, fear, happiness, sadness, surprise) and the opposite 6 emotions (calmness, love, confidence, unhappiness, gladness, comfortableness) of those. The growing HRI system analyzes sensing information, estimated emotion and service log in an edutainment robot. So, it commands the behavior of the robot. The growing HRI system consists of the emotion client and the emotion server. The emotion client estimates the emotion from sound. This client not only transmits the estimated emotion and sensing information to the emotion server but also delivers response coming from the emotion server to the main program of the robot. The emotion server not only updates the rule table of HRI using information transmitted from the emotion client and but also transmits the response of the HRI to the emotion client. The proposed system was applied to a Mon-E robot and can supply friendly HRI service to users.

  • Expert system is a practical application part of the artificial intelligence and can be generally described as a computer-based system designed to simulate the knowledge and reasoning of a human expert, and to make that knowledge conveniently available to other people in a useful way. Expert systems consist of three major components, knowledge base, inference engine and user interface. In this paper, it is aimed to construct a prototype system to design the horizontal-typed pressure vessel. To do this, a representative artificial programming language, Turbo Prolog, was employed, and the knowledge representation was mainly done by the production rule such as "If(condition), than (action)" style and by the predicate logic. In the developed system, it was quite easy to represent the knowledge of "If(condition), then (action)"style and by the predicate logic. 웹 기반하의 국어의 로마자 전사 표기 자동 변환 시스템 (Automatic translation system for hangul's romanization Based on the World Wide Web)

  • 국어의 로마자 표기법 기본원칙을 모르더라도 웹 상에서 한글단어, 문장, 문서를 문자열(String)로 입력받아 국어의 로마자 표기 자동변환이 가능하게 설계 및 구현하였다. 특히, 표음 중심의 전사(Transcription) 표기법의 기계적 변환을 위해 알고리즘(algorithm)화된 음운법칙을 적용하여 소리글자로 자동 변환 후 정부 표준안인 국어 로마자 표기법 테이블에서 대응 글자를 참조하여 기계화 코드 변환이 가능토록 자동변환 알고리즘 설계하였으며, 유니코드(Unicode)와 아스키(ASCII)테이블에서 잘 쓰이지 않는 코드를 반달표(ˇ)와 어깻점(')등 특수부호로 할당하여 글꼴을 제작하였다. 또한 예외어 사전관리를 통한 예외 처리 문제에 대한 해결 방안을 제시하였으며, UML표기와 C++ 언어를 이용하여 사용자 편리성과 구현에 대한 모델을 제안하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 HDTV 비디오 신호를 처리함에 있어 신호의 병목현상을 없애주고 신호의 원활한 처리를 위해 새로운 알고리듬을 적용하여 54MHz의 동작 주파수를 갖는 패커를 제안하였다. 또한 제안된 패커의 성능을 검증하기 위해 조합논리를 이용한 ROM 테이블 구조를 갖는 DCT 계수 부호화부를 함께 설계하므로써 DCT 계수 부호화부의 출력을 제안된 패커의 입력 데이타로 사용하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 회로는 VHDL 코드를 이용하여 설계하였고 SYNOPSYS tool의 $0.65{\mu}m$ 공정을 이용한 모델링과 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다.

A Fuzzy System Representation of Functions of Two Variables and its Application to Gray Scale Images

  • An approximate representation of discrete functions {f$_{i,j}\mid$|i, j=-1, 0, 1, …, N+1}in two variables by a fuzzy system is described. We use the cubic B-splines as fuzzy sets for the input fuzzification and spike functions as the output fuzzy sets. The ordinal number of f$_{i,j}$ in the sorted list is taken to be the out put fuzzy set number in the (i, j) th entry of the fuzzy rule table. We show that the fuzzy system is an exact representation of the cubic spline function s(x, y)=$\sum_{N+1}^{{i,j}=-1}f_{i,j}B_i(x)B_j(y)$ and that the approximation error S(x, y)-f(x, y) is surprisingly O($h^2$) when f(x, y) is three times continuously differentiable. We prove that when f(x, y) is a gray scale image, then the fuzzy system is a smoothed representation of the image and the original image can be recovered exactly from its fuzzy system representation when it is a digitized image.e.

장바구니 분석을 활용한 ASL 선정 연구 (A Study of Authorized Stockage List Selection using Market Basket Analysis)

  • In this study, It is assumed that customers are both usage unit of spare parts and stores of displaying and selling the goods that are installation unit of having the spare parts. The demand pattern through the effective order of spare parts and issue list in installation unit is investigated based on the assumption. Current ASL (Authorized Stockage List) selection of the army has been conducted in the way of using the analysis result of real usage experiences on spare parts used during the Korea War. For this study, ASL selection criteria and procedures based on army regulations and field manuals are specified. Since the traditional method does not presents the association analysis on spare parts used for the current equipment operating and does not have the clear criterion and analysis system about the ASL selection, in order to solve these problems, it was carried out that the association rule is employed for analyzing relationship between the effective order and issue list of the spare parts in point of the spare parts between usage unit and occurring month about purchase spare parts based on the star-schema table. Finally the new ASL selection way using the analysis result is proposed.

피로누적에 따른 최적 비행시간 산출에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Flight Time According to the Amount of Fatigue)

  • Since the aircraft has a property of moving in the three-dimensional space, it may cause personally and financially critical damage in the case of an accident. Among the causes of aircraft accident, human factor has occupied about 70% of all accidents. Specially, fatigue among human's problems has been studied earlier than any other factor. Fatigue has been the cause of 75% of accidents that are related to human factor. So many studies have been conducted. But the direction of these studies mainly attach importance to the sleep loss and circadian rhythm. Limitation for flight time of ICAO is 8 hours per day, civil airlines in domestic line also adopt the limitation. But this rule is not based on human's performance but compromise between labor and management. The long-haul flight brings about a mental block to pilot. This mental block decreases performance of pilot and loses a lot of important information. So this may cause many accidents. This paper is to offer optimal flight time according to the amount of fatigue due to increasing flight time. The optimal flight time is searched through the field experiment. The experiment has adopted two methods. One is to examine pilot's objective fatigue accumulation rate through the critical fusion frequency, and another is to investigate pilot's subjective fatigue feeling through the fatigue subjective symptoms investigation table.
