DW-166HC ($^{166}$Holmium-chitosan) is a complex of $^{166}$Ho, $\beta$- and $\gamma$-ray emitter, and chitosan, a polymer of glucosamine, with radiotherapeutic potential. The current study was performed to determine the acute toxicities of $^{165}$Ho-chitosan in mice by two different routes of administration. The both sex mice were given a single intravenous bolus injection of $^{165}$Ho-chitosan complex at doses of 12, 10, 6, 5 and 4 mg/kg or subcutaneous administration at doses of 600, 500, 400 and 300 mg/kg. Chitosan was dosed to control animals as 16 and 800 mg/kg, intravenously and subcutaneously, respectively. The doses of $_{165}$Ho-chitosan complex were expressed as $_{165}$holmium nitrate pentahydrate and the ratio of $^{165}$Ho$(NO_3)_3$).$5H_2O$ to chitosan was 3/4 Severe convulsion and respiratory failure were followed by death within 10 min after intravenous dosing. Transient unilateral hindlimb hypokinesias were found in two mice of 5 mg/kg dosing group during the study period. No abnormalities were observed during the necropsy of survived animals in intravenous dosing group. Only one male animal was found dead in 500 mg/kg subcutaneously dosed group. Alopecia with or without cutaneous ulcer were found in most mice including control animals. During necropsy, omental adhesion was observed in all dose ranges and enlarged spleen was found in several animals including control group. It is suggested that the acute intravenous >).$LD_{50}s$ for male and female mice were 4.90 and 6.03 mg/kg, respectively. The lowest lethal dose in male was 500 mg/kg by subcutaneous administration.
Al-Qaeda follower who planned to attacks the Pentagon and the Assembly by unmanned aircraft equipped with explosives was caught in the dictionary in September 2011. In addition, high-performance unmanned aerial vehicles in the United States 'sentinel' of the technology being leaked to Iran in late 2011 was an accident. Terrorist attacks on the forces used unmanned aircraft will be the day the not too distant. The purpose of this research is to provide response plans against acts of terrorism utilizing unmanned aircrafts to prevent large losses of lives such as the terrorist attacks of September 11. Discussing in detail, this research suggests revising and newly implementing the definition and categorization of unmanned aircrafts as well as relevant punishment in current aeronautics regulations as an initial response against acts of terrorism utilizing unmanned aircrafts. This is in order to newly implement and revise current relevant regulations that inadequately address the rapidly developing and changing unmanned aircrafts which will lead to increased sense of alarm for the potential terrorists, and also to introduce a systematic tool to punish those who commit such acts by clearly establishing the grounds for punishment. Also, under the binary operating system over airspace currently implemented globally, it is impossible to identify and control the infiltration of airspace by unmanned aircrafts. Recognizing such limitations, this research suggests a combined operation of airspace for unmanned and manned aircrafts as a second way of response for acts of terrorism utilizing unmanned aircrafts. A systematic integrated operation of airspace will appropriately control unmanned/ manned aircrafts that were not previously reported or otherwise have deviated from navigation routes, and will be able to prevent terrorism attempts utilizing aircrafts beforehand.
Enormously sized buildings are appearing world-wide with the advancement of construction techniques. Large-scaled and complicated structures will have increased difficulties for dealing with safety, and will demand well-matched safety measures. This research introduced up-to-date techniques and systems which are applied in buildings in foreign nations. Furthermore, it proposed s direct guidance plan for buildings in case of fire. Since it is possible to install wireless sensor networks which detect fires or effects of fire, the plan makes use of this information. Accordingly, the authors completed a direct guidance plan that was based on omnidirectional guidance lights. It is possible to select a route with concern about both time and capacity with a concept of a non-dominated path. Finally, case studies showed that quickest path algorithms were effective for guiding efficient dispersion routes and in case of restriction of certain links in preferred paths due to temperature and smoke, it was possible to avoid relevant links and to restrict demand in the network application. Consequently, the algorithms were able to maximize safety and minimize evacuation time, which were the purposes of this study.
The economical manufacturing process of fluorescent sediments (FS) which makes use of the understanding of coastal sediment path has been suggested with respect to the Lagrangian viewpoint. First, the fluorescent liquids were made by the mixing of the fluorescent materials, acetone, and xylene. Second, the sediments collected in Gamami beach were desalinized by the freshwater washing, dried indoors to protect the fine-sediment scattering, and classified by the sieve analysis. Finally, the FS which have seven different colors were manufactured by the mixing of fluorescent liquids and prepared sediments. The FS were used to figure out the major sediment supply routes of the intake channel in the YoungKwang nuclear power plant. From the field experiments, it was shown that the sediments were suspended and dispersed by the strong seasonal NW wind and the tide, and the sediments in suspension were flowing into the intake channel due to very strong suction speed. All the FS injected in stations were detected in the channel sampling points, thus we concluded that the sediments in suspension and dispersion were flowing into the intake channel from all directions in adjacent coastal zone.

This study is the realization of natural gas as ways to advance the South and the continental railway linking basic research was conducted on railway transport. Summary data on the Status of North Korean railway which was to have reviewed the case of LNG railway transportation in Japan and China is becoming an LNG tank containers by rail transportation is done. In the case of Korea, the stability of railway transportation through the development of LNG tank containers and rail transportation pilot project was tested. It was set up and the basic directions of freight trains transport routes and methods for rail transport 7.5 million tons of natural gas per year. TKR ~ TSR between the LNG transportation business is an existing railway south. North. Russia gas pipeline (PNG) instead of a separate project to replace the business SRX (Silk Road Express) is a symbolic project for the early realization of the Eurasian railway linking policy. This study may give greater meaning to secure the iconic railway transport route for continental transport of containers and bulk cargo (coal, ores, etc.).
Survey on the status of cultivation and production of medicinal crop was studied on 18 medicinal herbs and 5 medicinal trees in 66 major crop producing complexes. Native seeds or seedlings of the crops obtained from self-seed or neighbored farmer were cultivated and organic fertilizer was preferred to chemical fertilizer in the complexes. More than 60.7% of farmers were applied compost among the organic fertilizers, while 34.8% of them cultivated without any organic fertilizers. Both of using the compound chemical fertilizers and urea and urea only used were showed 51. 5% and 40.9%, respectively. Ostericum koreanum, Angelica gigas, Phellopterus littoralis, and Bupleurum fulcatum belonging to the family Umbeliferae and Aralia continentalis, Polygonatum sibiricum and Eucommia ulmoides in the complexex were not damaged by insect pests and plant diseases. Mite, aphid, grub, cutworm, onion magot fly and european corn borer were known to as major insect pests and anthracnose, powdery mildew, brown leaf spot, leaf blight and root rot as major plant diseases. Productivity and income of a farm by medicinal crops in the complex were greatly different from seeding time, planting distance, year yielded, and selling routes even in the same cultivation method and in the same cultivated area.
As facilities and equipments for learning activities in college campuses are handled by mass public, their contact surfaces may function as major routes of cross-infection of microbial pathogens. However, unlike items in cafeteria which is the typical target for campus hygiene, those surfaces are not under regular surveillance or sanitary maintenance. In this study, I made a quantitative comparison of the risk of being exposed to microbial pathogens from use of learning facilities such as classrooms and library to the risk from use of cafeteria, for about 1,500 students in a college. Regarding total coliforms as surrogate model of bacterial pathogens, exposure rates were estimated for each item in learning facilities and cafeterias by devising deterministic exposure algorithms based on bacterial abundance, contract rates and transfer rates. The exposure rate in cafeterias was 1.0 CFU/day while learning facilities imposed the rate of 0.5 CFU/day, which reaches a half of the exposure rate in cafeterias. However, 70% of students were exposed more in learning facilities than cafeteria because individuals had different frequencies in using cafeteria. Based on the results, some human-contact surfaces of learning facilities, including elevator buttons, may require regular sanitary maintenance. An efficient sanitary maintenance considering seasonality in diversity of pathogens involved with cross-infections is suggested besides improvement of personal hygiene among students.
Local issues that occur in cities typically garner great attention from the public. While local governments strive to resolve these issues, it is often difficult to effectively eliminate them all, which leads to complaints. In tackling these issues, it is imperative for local governments to use big data to identify the nature of complaints, and proactively provide solutions. This study applies the LDA topic modeling technique to research and analyze trends and patterns in complaints filed online. To this end, 9,625 cases of online complaints submitted to the city of Busan from 2015 to 2017 were analyzed, and 20 topics were identified. From these topics, key topics were singled out, and through analysis of quarterly weighting trends, four "hot" topics(Bus stops, Taxi drivers, Praises, and Administrative handling) and four "cold" topics(CCTV installation, Bus routes, Park facilities including parking, and Festivities issues) were highlighted. The study conducted big data analysis for the identification of trends and patterns in civil affairs and makes an academic impact by encouraging follow-up research. Moreover, the text mining technique used for complaint analysis can be used for other projects requiring big data processing.

Squamous cell carcinoma is the most prevalent oral cancer, which is characterized by its low survival rate, high malignancy, mortality with facial defects, and poor prognosis. Exact cause and pathogenesis of the squamous cell carcinoma is still unknown. Various routes including smoking, radiation, and viral infections predispose its genesis, and recent studies revealed that genetic defects which fail to prevent cancer proliferation play a role. Generally, a cancer develops from the decreased rate of apoptosis which is an active and voluntary cell death, and from the altered cell cycles. Anticancer effect can be obtained by recovering the apoptotic process, and by suppressing the cell cycles. Among the apoptosis related factors, bcl-2, caspase-9, and VDAC (voltage-dependent anion channel)are produced in mitochondria of the cell. Cyclosporin-A is known to induce apoptosis through its activation with VDAC. This study was to reveal the anticancer effect of Cyclosporin A to the oral squamous cell carcinoma. The inverted microscope was used to find alterations in the tissue, and sensitivity test to the anticancer cells was performed with MTT (Tetrazolium-based colorimetric) assay. Following cell line culture of primary and metastastic oral squamous cell carcinoma, electrophoresis was performed with extracted total RNA. Finally, semi-quantitative study was carried out through RT-PCR (Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction). The results of this study are as follows: 1. The inverted microscopic observation revealed a poorly defined cytoplasm at $2000ng{\sim}3000ng/ml$, indistinct nucleus, and apoptosis. 2. The Growth of cancer cells was decreased at 1000ng/ml of cyclosporin-A. No cancer cell growth was observed at over 2000ng/ml concentration of cyclosporin-A, and at one week, growth of cancer cells was ceased. 3. The MTT assays were decreased as cyclosporin-A concentration was increased. This means that the activation of succinyl dehydrogenase in mitochondria was decreased following administration of cyclosporin A. 4. A result of RT-PCR showed that amount of mRNA of VDAC-2 was decreased half times at a cyclosporine-A concentration of 2000ng/ml. In bcl-2, amount of mRNA was significantly decreased 1/5 times at 2000ng/ml. caspase-9, however, showed slight increase compared to the control group. From the results obtained in this study, administration of cyclosporin-A to the cell lines of oral squamous cell carcinoma induced alterations in morphology and growth of the cells as its concentration increased. Since apoptosis related factors such as VDAS-2, bcl-2, and caspase-9 also showed distinct alterations on their mRNAs, further research on cyclosporin A as an anti-cancer agent will be feasible.

The pharmacokinetics of recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (rhG-CSF) following intravenous (i.v.), intramuscular (i.m.) and subcutaneous (s.c.) administration of HM1041l-lyo and HM10411-liq (lyophilized and liquid formulations of rhG-CSF, recently under development by Hanmi Pharmaceutical Company) were studied in rats, and compared with that of Filgrastim (conventional formulation of rhG-CSF on market). The plasma concentration of rhG-CSF was quantified using a specific ELISA. The pharmacokinetic parameters of rhG-CSF, after i.v., i.m. and s.c. administration of Filgrastim, HM1041l-lyo and HM1041l-liq to rats at a rhG-CSF dose of $10\;{\mu}g/kg$, were almost identical among the three formulations. No dose-dependency was observed in the pharmacokinetic parameters of rhG-CSF following i.v. administration in the dose range of $5{\sim}100\;{\mu}g/kg$. rhG-CSF, after i.v. administration of the three preparations at a dose of $10\;{\mu}g/kg$ to rats, was detected at low levels in all of the body tissues with highest tissue/plasma ratio of $0.46{\sim}0.51$ for the kidney at 30 min after the administration. The pharmacokinetics of rhG-CSF, after i.v. administration to mice at a dose of $10\;{\mu}g/kg$, were comparable among the three formulations. In conclusion, HM10411-lyo and HM10411-liq exhibited similar pharmacokinetics for rhG-CSF with Filgrastim regandless of animal species. Considering the fact that HM10411 series, contrary to Filgrastim, are proteins lacking a methionine residue, the methionine moiety in rhG-CSF molecule does not appear to influence the pharmacokinetics of the protein significantly.
