A Study on the Application of GIS and AHP for the Optimization of Route Selection

  • In a route plan, the route selection is a complicated problem to consider the spatial distribution and influence through overall related data and objective analysis on the social, economic and technical condition. The developed system in this study was compared and estimated by deciding a practical section for its validity and efficiency. Using Geographic Information System (GIS), the various information required for route selections in database was constructed, the characteristics of subject area by executing three-dimensional terrain analysis was grasped effectively, and the control point through buffering, overlay and location operation was extracted. An optimum route was selected by calculating the sum of alternatives to the sub-criteria weight, and from this result, there is a difference between real route and proposed route according to the prioritization of decision criteria based on the importance. This research could be constructed and applied geospatial information to the reasonable route plan and an optimum route selection efficiently using GIS. Therefore, the applications are presented by applying Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to the decision-making of information needed in route selection.

이용자 행태 기반 복합건축 보행자 통합동선계획 (The Pedestrian Integrated Circulation System in Mixed-use Building based on User Behavior)

  • The purpose of the study is to be the pedestrian integrated circulation system of malling route and the third route in Mixed-use Building based on User Behavior. The study has performed by the following approaches: Initially, literature reviews are performed related to a pedestrian route by user in mixed-use building. Second, general and stroller users moving route are analyzed based on the outcome of the case study. Finally, the study develops the efficient pedestrian integrated circulation system of malling route and the third route in Mixed-use Building. According to the study, the following conclusions were made: First, An integrated plan for escalators and EVs, which are accessible to both users and strollers, is needed. Second, The entrance automatic door and circulation elements should be connected for continuous move by the stroller users. Finally, The circulation system of complex buildings should be a simple spatial structure and route plan that users can easily recognize.

  • According to the construction plan of Samcheok electric power complex from year 2009 to year 2020, many people are interested in this area. This national project which invests about 8.6 trillion won will have great influence to rail transport considering current depression days. Samcheok electric power complex will be the largest plan in Korea, and it is necessary to have railroad construction plan as soon as possible considering the route change of domestic coal transport and the possibility of coal transport by rail from North Korea, Russia and China after reunification of Korean peninsula. Also, Samcheok electric power complex will be located in the east area railroad route and it is important to study about this area. This study will mention about the railroad route of east sea north line and Pohang $\sim$ Samcheok line, and review the prospect and strengthening method of coal transport by railroad according to the construction of Samcheok electric power complex.

  • In this paper, the analysis methods of available information are reviewed and it is elicited to the method of which the analysis results are applied to the Autonomous Decentralized Train Management System for the optimization at the point of the route control time and for making the efficiency shunting plan in the Autonomous Centralized Station Operation Control System. As the statistics and estimated information which are got through the utilizable information analysis are applied for the automatic route control function and the shunting plan management of the station operation control system, it is possible to use efficiently the station information by the autonomous route control system. And as the exact forecast information needed for the shunting plan establishment and the operation is provided to the operator, it is established to the efficient train operation plan.

  • 최근 국토의 효율적인 개발을 목적으로 신설도로의 건설이 급증하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라는 경제 개발사업이 시작되면서 국토개발이 활발히 추진됨에 따라 국토의 자연활경에 많은 손상을 가져 왔던 것도 부인할 수 없는 사실이다. 이런 관점에서 본 연구는 도로개발사업시 효율적인 최적노선을 창출하기 위해 연구대상지를 선정하여 종래 방법과 수치지형모형방법으로 구분하고 최적노선 선정시 현황지형, 토공량 변화에 따른 예측지형 및 주변경관해석의 한 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과 수치지형모형으로 노선계획시 토공량변화에 따른 예측지형 및 경관도를 작성할 경우 종래 조감도 및 투시도 방법보다 입체적이고 시각적이며, 대상지의 다양한 지형인자를 삽입하면 최적 노선선정시 토공량산정, 종·횡단면도 작성, 경관도, 조경도 등 모든 노선계획의 수치화가 가능하므로 도로 건설사업시 그 활용도가 기대된다.

형태학적 개념을 활용한 조선시대 고산현의 도시형태 변천과정 해석 (Morphological Interpretation of the Transformation Process of Urban Form in Gosan-Up)

  • 본 연구는 조선시대 읍치로부터 성장한 지방 소도읍의 하나인 고산을 대상으로 형태학적 개념과 연계하여 도시의 형성 발달과정에서 나타나는 형태구조와 도시평면 변화과정을 시계열적으로 분석해보고 시기별 형태특성을 도출해보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 고산의 도시형태 분석을 위하여 콘젠과 카니지아가 설정한 도시형태 분석개념을 토대로 형태구조, 도시평면, 경로체계, 개발규정선, 전이지대, 중심지구, 평면단위, 형태시기, 브레이크 포인트, 자투리필지, 유휴지, 사유화 등의 개념을 도입하였다. 고산현시대에 골격이 형성된 고산의 도시형태 변천과정에는 도시형태 형성-구시가(kernel)의 형태구조 해체 재편-중심지구(epidome district)의 형성 발달-확장형 충진-중심지구 확장 재편으로 이어지는 순환적 사이클이 존재하고 있다. 공공사업은 고산의 형태구조와 도시평면의 변화를 주도하는 요인으로 작용하였다. 초기 단계 고산의 형태적 변화과정에는 간선경로로서 구시가(kernel)을 관통하며 개설된 신작로(고산로)와 이를 연결하는 계획로가 중요한 영향을 미치고 있다. 신작로 개설을 계기로 T(십(十))자형 골격도로체계를 바탕으로 구시가의 대부분을 점유하고 있던 관아시설구역의 평면단위가 소블록 단위의 개방형 평면단위로 전이되었다. 이와 더불어 신작로와 시장 경계도로를 따라 상가가 들어서면서 선형의 평면단위를 지니는 노선상가와 시장이 어우러진 근대적 중심지구를 형성하게 되었다.

The Evaluation of Beneficial Walking Elements to Identify Motivations for Walking Habit Formation

  • This study aimed to build on past findings about differences in personal walking experiences by demonstrating what elements were beneficial to participants with different walking habits. Accordingly, this study established the relationships between valued walking elements and people's motivation to walk, by dividing participants into three groups: Group W for people with a walking habit, Group HW for people who walk occasionally but not regularly, and Group NW for people who do not walk habitually. Participants walked a familiar and an unfamiliar route with a wearable device that recorded their heart-rate variability and electrodermal activity. Changes in the biometric data helped to identify the defining moments in each participant's walk. Participants discussed these moments in one-on-one interviews with a researcher to pinpoint their valued walking elements. As a result, this study classified walking elements into six themes: "Surroundings," "Social," "Exploration," "Route Plan," "Physical Exercise," and "Mental Thinking." A walking habit development model was made to show how "Route Plan" and "Exploration" were beneficial to Group NW, "Social" and "Surroundings" were beneficial to Group HW, and "Route Plan," "Mental Thinking," and "Physical Exercise" were beneficial to Group W.

도로의 최적노선대 선정방법 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on Determining Highway Routes)

  • 도로의 구조 시설기준에 관한 규칙과 국도의 노선계획 설계지침에 준하여 실행되는 현행 노선선정방법과, 컴퓨터 발전과 함께 국내외에서 연구되고 있는 선형최적화 모형식으로 사례연구 구간의 도로 노선을 선정하여 노선 특성을 비교 분석해본 결과, 현행 노선선정방법은 단계별, 구간별로 순차적인 노선선정이 이루어지는 국지적 최적을 추구하나, 선형 최적화 모형식 선정방법은 모든 설계요소가 동시에 고려된 체계최적(System Optimal)의 노선탐색 능력이 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 선형최적화 모형에서 기존 설계공종별 실제공사비로 비용함수를 보정하여 노선을 선정한 결과 현실에 부합되게 설계되었으며, 경제성이 높은(B/C=1.66) 대안 노선이 탐색되었다. 선형최적화 설계모형은 터널 종단에서 종단 경사가 변화하는 등 보완될 점이 있음에도 타당성조사와 기본설계단계에서 노선선정 도구로서 설계시간 및 비용단축, 다양한 대안 노선의 검토 등의 많은 장점을 지니고 있음이 확인되었다.
