  • We T.E.C. have commenced to develop the O.F. cable in April, 1977. Now we have finished the Type-Test and produced in full-operation of 154KV 1x600mm$^{2}$ and 154KV 1x1200mm$^{2}$ O.F. cables. Especially we have completed pulling and splicing of the 24.82kms O.F. cable in KaeBong-OuRyu Route, and now it is operating well. This has important meaning that Extra High Voltage Under Ground Transmission Line has constructed by domastic engineers for the first time in Korea. Thank to arrange and publish it, and hope it can be helpful to the related.

  • Immune responses to infectious microbes and foreign antigens are regulated by a series of interactions among T cells, B cells, and antigen-presenting cells (APCs) such as macrophages (M$\square$) and dendritic cells (DCs). The inverse relationship between antibody production and cell-mediated immune responses such as delayed type hypersensitivity (DTH) was experimentally manipulated by varying the dose, route of administration, and form of antigen used to immunize animals.   • In this study, a new processing route of barrier ribs for the plasma display panels was attempted. A slurry containing ceramic powders for the barrier ribs, binder, hardener, and other additives, was molded into a PDMS mold by capillary infiltration process. The molded slurry was cured prior to mold removal. It was demonstrated that the process can fabricate successfully the cell type barrier ribs of PDP.

Characterization of Chemically Stabilized $\beta$-cristobalite Synthesized by Solution-Polymerization Route

  • A chemically stabilized $\beta$-cristobalite, which is stabilized by stuffing cations of $Ca^{2+}$ and $Al^{3+}$, was prepared by a solution-polymerization route employing Pechini resin or PVA solution as a polymeric carrier. The polymeric carrier affected the crystallization temperature, morphology of calicined powder, and particle size distribution. In case of the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) solution process, a fine $\beta$-cristobalite powder with a narrow particle size distribution (average particle size : 0.3$\mu\textrm{m}$) and a BET specific surface area of 72 $\m^2$/g was prepared by an attrition-milling for 1 h after calcination at 110$0^{\circ}C$ for 1h. Wider particle size distribution and higher specific surface area were observed for the $\beta$-cristobalite powder derived from Pechini resin. The cubie(P1-to-tetraganalb) phase transformation in polynystalline $\beta$-cristobalite was induced at approximately 18$0^{\circ}C$. Like other materials showing transformation toughening, a critical size effect controlled the $\beta$-to-$\alpha$ transformation. Densifed cristobalite sample had some cracks in its internal texture after annealing. The cracks, occurred spontaneoulsy on cooling, were observed in the sample with an average grain sizes of 4.0 $\mu\textrm{m}$ or above. In case of the sintered cristobalite having a composition of CaO.$2Al_2O_3$.40SiO$_2$, small amount of amorphous phase and slow grain growth during annealing were observed. Shear stress-induced transformation was also observed in ground specimen. Cristobalite having a composition of CaO.2Al2O3.80SiO2 showed a more sensitive response to shear stress than the CaO.$2Al_2O_3$.40SiO$_2$ type cristobalite. Shear-induced transformation resulted in an increase of volume about 13% in $\alpha$-cristobalite phase on annealing for above 10 h in the case of the former composition.

경로가 주어진 임무 상황에서 분산 임무할당 알고리즘의 적용 방안 연구 (Application for en-Route mission to Decentralized Task Allocation)

  • 복수 무인기를 운영하는 환경에서 분산 임무 할당 알고리즘의 사용은 임무를 지휘 통제하는 중앙 관제 시스템이 없기 때문에 중앙 집중식 임무 할당 방식에 비해 무인기의 임무 중 탈락 이벤트로부터 보다 큰 강건성을 가지게 된다. 또한 무인기 스스로 상황을 인지하고 통신을 통해 임무를 재할당 하는 방식이기 때문에 임무 반경 또한 더욱 넓힐 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 하드웨어 성능이 향상되고 비용이 감소함에 따라 임무 환경에서의 복수 무인기 운용에 대한 필요성이 증대되고 있으며, 작전 반경이 넓고 단일 고장에 강건한 분산 임무 할당 알고리즘에 대한 연구 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문은 대표적인 분산 임무할당 알고리즘인 CBBA를 기반으로 하여, 기존에 점 좌표로 단순화 되어 설정된 임무 종류를 점 좌표에 대한 감시 업무와 선형 경로의 정찰 임무로 구분하여 보다 현실에서의 임무 상황을 반영할 수 있도록 발전시켰다. 본 연구의 결과로서 복수무인기가 과다 임무가 부여된 상황에서 동일한 임무위치 및 보상을 갖는 상황을 몬테 카를로 시뮬레이션을 통해 최종 보상합(global reward)을 비교한다.

Study of damage safety assessment for a ship carrying radioactive waste

  • Ship damage caused by maritime casualties leads to marine pollution and loss of life and property. To prevent serious damage from maritime casualties, several types of safety regulations are applied in ship design. Damage stability regulation is one of the most important safety issues. Designs of ships for long international voyages must comply with these regulations. Current regulations, however, do not consider the characteristics of the operating route of each ship and reflect only ship size and type of cargo. In this paper, a damage safety assessment was undertaken for a ship carrying radioactive waste in actual wave conditions. Damage cases for safety assessment were constructed on the basis of safety regulations and related research results. Hull form, internal arrangement, loading condition and damage condition were modeled for damage safety simulation. The safety simulation was performed and analyzed for 10 damage cases with various wave heights, frequency and angle of attack on an operating route. Based on evaluation results, a design alternative was generated, and it was also simulated. These results confirmed that damage safety analysis is highly important in the design stage in consideration of the operating route characteristics by simulation. Thus a ship designer can improve safety from damage in this manner.

ESTIMATING COSTS DURING THE INITIAL STAGE OF CONCEPTUAL PLANNING FOR PUBLIC ROAD PROJECTS: CASE-BASED REASONING APPROACH

  • Estimating project costs during the early stage of conceptual planning is very important when deciding whether to approve the project and allocate an appropriate budget. However, due to greater uncertainties involved in a project, it is challenging to estimate costs during this initial stage within a reasonable tolerance. This paper attempts to develop a cost-estimate model for public road projects under these circumstances and limitations. In the conceptual planning stage of a road project, there is only limited information for cost estimation, for example, such input data as total length of the route, origin and destination, number of lanes, general geographic characteristics of the route, and other basic attributes. This implies that the model should individuate suitable but restricted information without considering detailed features such as quantity of earthwork and a detailed route of a given condition. With these limited facts, this paper applies a case-based reasoning (CBR) method to solve a new problem by deriving similar past problems, which in turn is used to estimate the cost of a given project based on best-fitted previous cases. To develop a CBR cost-estimate model, the authors classified 8 representative variables, including project type, the number of lanes, total length, road design grades, etc. Then, we developed the CBR model, primarily by using 180 actual cases of public road projects, procured over the last decade. With the CBR model, it was found that the degree of error in estimation can be reasonably reduced, to below approximately 30% compared to the final costs estimated upon the completion of detailed design.

2021년도 도쿄올림픽 대비 세계 상위권 여자핸드볼 전력분석 (Analysis of Handball Strategies of World Top Class Team to Prepare Tokyo2021 Olympic games)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 2019년 세계여자핸드볼선수권대회에서 상위 6개 국가에 대한 전력분석으로 주요득점 경로와 슈팅 유형별 성공률, 어시스트 빈도, 스틸, 블록, 슈팅 유형별 골키퍼 방어율에 대한 정보를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 득점 경로 분석결과, 대회 1위 네덜란드와 2위 스페인은 6m슛과 7m슛이 가장 많았으며, 3, 4, 5, 6위에서도 6m슛이 가장 많이 나타났다. 둘째, 슈팅 유형별 성공률 분석결과에서는 상위 6팀 모두 7m슛, 돌파슛, 속공슛 등으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어시스트 빈도분석 결과 기록에 의하면 대회 4위의 노르웨이가 6팀 중 가장 많은 어시스트를 기록했다. 넷째, 스틸 빈도분석 결과 6개 팀 중 노르웨이는 평균 5.2회로 가장 많은 스틸을 기록하였다. 다섯째, 슈팅 유형별 골키퍼 방어율을 분석한 결과 6팀 골키퍼 모두가 9m 슈팅에 대한 방어율이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 심층적인 경기전략분석을 위해서는 선수 개인 경기력에 대한 특성파악 및 정보 수집을 통하여 향후 후속연구로 진행될 필요가 있다고 생각된다.

A facile one-pot solution-phase route to synthesizing anovel composite hierarchical hollow structure: W18O49/WO2 Hollow Nanourchins

  • To date, nanostructured tungsten oxides with a variety of stoichiometries, such as WO3, WO2.9, W18O49, and WO2, have been prepared, because they are promising candidates for applications such as gas sensors, photocatalysts, electrochromic devices, and field emission devices. Among them, W18O49 and WO2 have been widely studied due to their outstanding chemical sensing, catalytic, and electron emissive properties. Here we report, for the first time, a one-pot solution-phase route to synthesizing a novel composite hierarchical hollow structure without adding catalysts, surfactants, or templates. The products, consisting of a WO2 hollow core sphere surrounded by a W18O49 nanorod shell (yielding a sea urchin-like structure), were generated as discrete structures via Ostwald ripening. To our knowledge, this type of composite hierarchical core/shell structure has not been reported previously. The morphological evolution and the detailed growth mechanism were carefully studied. We also demonstrate that the size of the hollow urchins is readily tunable by controlling the reactant concentrations.Interestingly, although bulk tungsten oxides are weakly paramagnetic or diamagnetic, the as-prepared products show unusual ferromagnetic behavior atroom temperature. The urchin structures also show a very high Brunauer-Emmet-Teller (BET) surface area, suggesting that they may potentially be applied to chemical sensor or effective catalyst technologies.

도시부 ATIS 효율적 적용을 위한 탐색영역기법 및 양방향 링크탐색 알고리즘의 구현 (An Integration of Searching Area Extraction Scheme and Bi-directional Link Searching Algorithm for the Urban ATIS Application)

  • The shortest path algorithm for route guidance is implicitly required not only to support geometrical variations of transportation network such as U-TURN or P-TURN but to efficiency search reasonable routes in searching mechanism. The purpose of this paper is to integrate such two requirements ; that is, to allow U-TURN and P-TURN possibilities and to cut down searching time in locating routes between two points (origin and destination) in networks. We also propose a new type of link searching algorithm which can solve the limitation of vine building algorithm at consecutively left-turn prohibited intersections. The test site is a block of Gangnam road network that has some left-turn prohibited and allowed U-TURN intersections. Four models have been identified to be comparatively analyzed in terms of searching efficiency. The Models are as follows : (i) Model 1 - Link Searching Dijkstra Algorithm without Searching Area Extraction (SAE) ; (ii) Model 2 - Link Searching Dijkstra Algorithm with SAE ; (iii) Model 3 - Link Searching Bidirectional Dijkstra Algorithm without SAE ; and (iv) Model 4 - Link Searching Bidirectional Dijkstra Algorithm with SAE. The results of comparative evaluation show that Model 4 can effectively find optimum path faster than any other models as expected. Some discussions and future research agenda have been presented in the light of dynamic route guidance application of the urban ATIS.
