Flow aggregation is a scalable method to provide quality of service (QoS) guarantees to a large number of flows economically. A round-robin scheduler is an efficient scheduling algorithm. We investigate flow aggregation using a round-robin scheduler and propose the use of periodic timer interrupts for rate control of the round-robin scheduler. The proposed flow aggregator is a single-stage scheduler compared to Cobb's two-stage flow aggregator consisting of an aggregator and non-aggregating scheduler. It is possible to implement flow aggregation in the existing routers with only a software upgrade. We also present a simulation study showing the delay behaviors of the proposed algorithm.

Ultrasonic inspection system consist of the examination procedures, equipment, and operators. The reliability of nondestructive testing is influenced by the inspection environment, materials and types of defect. It is very difficult to estimate the reliability of NDT due to the various factors. Piping inspection round robin was conducted to quantify the capability of ultrasonic inspection during in-service. In this study, the models for predicting the ultrasonic NDE reliability by logistic model and linear regression model are discussed. The utility of the NDT reliability assessment is verified by the analysis of the data from round robin test with these models.

The Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety, as a representative organization of Korea, in February 2012 participated in an international Program to Assess the Reliability of Emerging Nondestructive Techniques initiated by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The goal of the Program to Assess the Reliability of Emerging Nondestructive Techniques is to investigate the performance of emerging and prospective novel nondestructive techniques to find flaws in nickel-alloy welds and base materials. In this article, Korean round-robin test results were evaluated with respect to the test blocks and various nondestructive examination techniques. The test blocks were prepared to simulate large-bore dissimilar metal welds, small-bore dissimilar metal welds, and bottom-mounted instrumentation penetration welds in nuclear power plants. Also, lessons learned from the Korean round-robin test were summarized and discussed.

본 논문에서는 라운드 로빈 알고리즘을 적용한 부하균형기법을 보이고 있다. 이를 위하여 2개의 패키지(패킷 캡춰와 라운드로빈 테스트 패키지)를 구현하였으며, 이러한 구현 패키지 S/W에 의해 본 연구 실험의 가상연결구조(데이터 생성기, 가상서버, 서버1,2,3) 에서 발생하는 패킷의 량을 측정한 것으로 서버1,2,3으로 트래픽 분산여부를 파악할 수 있었으며, 구현된 라운드로빈 부하균형 모니터링 시스템의 기능으로는 데이터의 수신량, 패킷량 표현, 패킷량 그래프 표현, 라운드 로빈 테스트, 시스템 모니터링 기능이 있다. 실험결과는 들어오는 데이터의 크기가 많이 차이나지 않는 이상 라운드 로빈 알고리즘은 확실한 형태의 트래픽 분산을 가능하게 해주었다 그리고 일부분에서 오차가 심한 경우도 있지만 횟수를 거듭하고 테스트가 장기화 될수록 오차는 줄어들었다.

고속 스케듈링 기법은 입력 큐 스위치의 성능을 극대화하기 위해 필요하다 가상 출력큐 스위치 구조에 관하여 지금까지 iSLIP, DRRM 과 같은 라운드로빈 스케듈링 기법이 제안되어 왔다 iSLIP 방식은 높은 성능을 보여주고 있고 이미 하드웨어 구현이 되어 있고 DRRM 또한 iSLIP 보다 간단하고 성능에 더 좋음을 나타내고 있지만 , 울다 라운드로벤의 포인터통기 문제를 효과적으로 풀지 못하고 있다 본 논문에서 제안된 딸고리즘은 DRRM 알고리즘 에 기초로써 새롭게 제안되었고 포인터를 항상 비동기되도록 유지하는 특정이 있다. 또한 라운드로빈 방식을 그대로 견지하므로써 구현이 간편한 특성을 가지고 있다 시뮬레이션 결과에 의하면 제안된 알고리즘은 다양한 트래픽 모델에서 iSLIP 이나 DRRM 보다 더 좋은 성능을 보여주고 있다.

This report describes a preliminary study necessary to implement Measurement Assurance Program (MAP). The purpose of the study is to improve the measurement reliability of the laboratories which take environmental pollution measurement. We carried out the interlaboratory test or "Round-Robin" test program in which seven laboratories participated in order to obtain more reliable data about water pollution.pollution.

원자로 용기의 온도-압력 한계곡선을 위하여 국내공동비교연구를 수행하였다. 국내 원전의 데이터를 이용하여 국내 각 기관에서 온도-압력 한계곡선 작성에 사용하고 있는 방법 및 기법을 비교하기 위하여 round robin 해석을 제안하였고 주어진 문제에 대하여 각 기관이 문제를 해석한 후 결과를 제출하여 이들을 분석함으로써 온도-압력 한계곡선 작성에 대한 표준 해석 자료를 만들어 추후 평가에 이용할 수 있도록 하였다.
