XML/EDI provides a way to connect legacy systems(ERPs) : When a XML/EDI system sends a message, the message contents come from the legacy system. Likewise, when a ERP receiving a message, important parts are stored in the legacy system. RosettaNet has become a strong tool to connect ERPs as RosettaNet has become a promising standard for XML/EDI. In this paper, a prototype using PIP 3A4(Order Management) of the RosettaNet is implemented to show how the standard could be used for the connection of ERPs.

ㆍ RosettaNet is one of the most rapidly expanding XML- based B2B standards aiming at lingua-franca for e-Business. ㆍ RosettaNet delivers PIP/sup TM/-based B2B process standards, dictionaries, and implementation frameworks guaranteeing interoperability among integration solutions. ㆍ RosettaNet is an evolutionary standard featuring need-based expansion, implementation-promoting development methodology, and release model based on collective agreement among members. ㆍ RosettaNet plans to continue to focus the majority of its efforts on vertical supply chain and business model specific e-commerce process standards, with an emphasis on rapid adoption and production implementation in the high technology industry.

This paper is intended to investigate the Build-up Method of SCM(Supply Chain Management) Connection applying EC Standard. SCM helps companies plan and supply to meet customer demand. SCM is the only solution available today that enables an organization to strategize, plan and execute a company's buy, make, move, store, fulfill and service business processes across multiple enterprises for total profitability. The research of modern scientists has thrown new light on the subject. However, the study of SCM for EC Standard has been strangely neglected by critics. Consequently, existing SCM systems, which require to introduce the functions of EC, need to be changed. Summarizations of the main points that have been analyzed in this paper are as follows:. the sharing information for connection and the Rosetta-net standard of the existing SCM system(Order management module(PIP 3A4) of the Rosetta-net specifications for connection by the Rosetta-net). Finally, it shows the process of the gateway for connecting among the existing SCM systems.

In this paper, we propose a reference model for logistics processes to improve the effect of RosettaNet standards application to domestic industry. First of all, implementation cases applied to logistics processes in the world are investigated. Second, logistics processes of domestic manufacturers are analyzed for the application of RosettaNet standards, and the processes are compared with PIP. Finally, a new logistics processes model and corresponding PIP documents which reflect domestic situations are proposed.

The scope of e-Commerce process becomes wider as the emphasis on the enterprise collaboration grows. It has expanded from its initial settings of order management or billing processes to cover various collaborative processes in the company's value-chain. In order for those collaborative e-Commerce processes to be successful, corresponding business processes should be fully supported by standard bodies. The RosettaNet consortium, one of the most representative international B2B standard bodies, has steadily provided new PIPs to support those expansions. Since individual RosettaNet PIPs correspond to unit tasks that are executed separately in or between companies, multiple PIPs have to be integrally used to properly handle larger business cases. RosettaNet implementation, however, has suffered from the lack of standard guidelines or deliverables to refer under this multi-PIP environment. In this research, a contents-based document routing system is implemented. By applying this routing system to the RosettaNet e-Logistics program where multi-PIP environment is inevitable, we verified our contents-based document routing system is effective to support multi-PIP environment flexibly.
