The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of court type in Urban Detached Houses. This study deals with single-unit Korean houses designed by architects, which are included in architectural periodicals and books published since 1980. The results of this study, the types of houses court plan are obtained from the mass of site and plans shape. There are five types which are Backyard type, Corridor type, Atrium type, Inner garden type, and Dae-chyung-ma-roo type. And 9 plans of Dae-chyung-ma-roo type house are shown in this paper. Especially, Dae-chyung-ma-roo type is outdoor space with over 2 door of the room and that is extended indoor space.

The purpose of this research is to provide the informations on built - in closets and storage in urban apartment houses in korea, considering the mode in living. Since the number of household goods and furniture might be related with the unit size of house(L D K) and district (Seoul. Pusan, Incheon) all data also were evaluated by the struclure of dwelling space and urban area in korea. For being importance of "Anbang" for indoor living, in which Znagnnng, Mungap, a dressing table and hanger are prepared. Preparation of new space in various ways. so many living tools are being used, for example the dinner table with adjustable supporters. A room is specially prepared for storage of season's living goods and furniture. It is very interest that the bed is still net popular, because that is considered as obstruction for the function of "Anbang", specially in small size apartment. Built - in closets and storage In "Anbang" is greatly needed, because most of activities of living involving sleeping are done In that space.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the actual outcomes of early discharge program for extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants. Methods: Medical records of 122 ELBW infants admitted in the neonatal intensive care unit from January 2000 to June 2006 and those of their 112 mothers were analyzed retrospectively. Results: After being applied early discharge program to ELBW infants' mothers, their infants' lengths of stay, gestational age and body weight at discharge, duration of completion of oral feeding, number of emergency room visits after discharge were decreased and number of breast milk feeding was increased. Conclusion: Early discharge program for ELBW infants can be an effective intervention for parents and their ELBW infants contributing to neonatal nursing practices.

The experimental study and theoretical analysis are made in order to investigate a new refrigeration system, R-22 and R-502 or R-13 cascade compressor with panel type cooler, for tuna long liner. The experimental apparatus consists with the cascade unit, 1.5 HP R-502 compressor in the first stage and 1 HP R-22 compressor in the second stage, and 3 $m^2$ cold storage room with a direct expansion panel type cooler. The main result are as follows: 1. The energy saving and C.O.P. of the R-22 and R-502 or R-22 and R-13 cascade are improved much higher than two stage compressor. 2. For the point of simplicity of design, installation, and running cost, the panel type cooler is much better than traditional hair pin coil type cooler. 3. From the experimental data and analysis, the R-22 and R-502, or R-22 and R-13 cascade compressor with panel type cooler is recommended for a new refrigeration equipment of the tuna long liner.

A significant trial has been performed for estimation of noise level of a cross flow fan for air conditioning system. In general, measurements of noise level of machinery require rigorous equipment involving an anechoic chamber with precision gauges. The apparatus is expensive to utilize and is not easy to construct. In this work, we adopt static pressure sensing from an ordinary pressure transducer for prediction of noise level of a rotating fan. The present procedure is finding sound pressure from the static pressure by manipulating Light-Curle equation depicts noisy energy in terms of pressure on surfaces of noise generators. Sound power level near core unit of the fan is evaluated with the present methodology in a normal laboratory room without any sound absorbers. The method is easy and shows good prediction results compared with precise measurements by using microphones.

It is known that the classical tuning formula for typical PID controllers in general provides unsatisfactory results for industrial plants where the time delay exceeds the dominant lag time. For this reason, alternative strategies have been studied in order to cope with this problem and the most popular scheme is the Smith Predictor(SP). In this paper, the dynamic model of a unit apartment in the district heating system, which is the control process effected by the dead-time, is developed, and the on/off room temperature control method with the SP simulate using Matlab-Simulink. The simulation results show that the SP works effectively in outdoor temperature variation.

This environmental influence of the noise produced by a number of air-conditioner out-door units in a multi-unit housing is predicted and evaluated. The method based on Ray tracing theory and mirror image source theory is utilized. Each ventilation window in a machine room is considered as a sound source which contributes to the overall noise level of the surrounding environment. The adopted method has been found a very efficient tool to assess the environmental noise impact.

Accidental or suicidal fatalities of paraquat(Gramoxon) poisong are occasionally seen in the emergency room or intensive care unit in this country. In most cases, respiratory symptoms and eventual death by respiratory distress occur within several days. The most striking pathologic change is fibrosis of the lung due to widespread proliferation of fibroblastic cell. We experience a 21-year-old woman with huge bulla on left lung and diffuse fibrosis in other site, who ingested paraquat 10 months ago. After thoracoscopic removal of bulla, the patient survive without progression of pulmonary complication till now.

Many industrial products can be assembled in various sequences of assembly operations. To save time and cost in assembly process and to increase the quality of products, it is very important to choose an optimal assembly sequence. In this paper, we propose a methodology that generates an optimal assembly sequence by using the knowledge of experts. First, a product is divided into several sub-assemblies. Next, the disassembly sequences of sub-assembly are generated using disassembly rules and special information can be extracted through the disassembly process. By combining every assembly sequence of sub-assemblies, we can generate all the possible assembly sequences of a product. Finally, the expert system evaluates all the possible assembly sequences and finds an optimal assembly sequence. It can be achieved under consideration of the parameters such as assembly operation, tool change, safety of part. basepart location, setup change, distance, and orientation. The developed system is applied to UBR(Unit Bath Room) example.

Utilization practice of garlic and seasonings in industry foodservice was surveyed by questionnaire. Statistical data analysis was performed with SAS package program in order to have frequencies, means, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; The mean value of Food Processing Index(FPI) score for purchased vegetable and seasonings is 3.5 which indicates the prepreparation is between partially preprepared and completely preprepared. The garlic was mainly purchased from brokers(51.0%), on a daily basis(58.8%) and peeled-form(74.5%). The average purchased amount is 6.66㎏ at a time. The unit price of the garlic makes significant differences(p＜0.05) by the scale and location of foodservice establishments. As for the storage method and Period, in room temperature, no storage(2.1%) and for one day(2.1%) and in refrigeration, for one day(39.6%) and fer three days(18.7%).
