  • Chinese Tibetan Opera is a highly comprehensive drama type, which combines the educational aesthetic characteristics of the realism of Western drama and the freehand of Chinese opera, including mask play, square play, ritual play and religious play. Tibetan opera, as a kind of local drama, has high research value, which is determined by its educational aesthetic characteristics. The world's three major dramas include Sanskrit dramas in India, tragic-comedies in ancient Greece and Chinese dramas, which have different forms of expression and educational aesthetic characteristics. Because of the particularity of its birthplace, Tibetan Opera inherits some of the three forms of the above three dramas. Ancient Greek tragedies originate from the sacrificial ritual of the god of wine. In the early ceremonial action performances, the actors were all men and needed to wear masks to perform. In Tibetan opera, men also play a role in masks, which are originated from the folk totem dance and religious pantomime music and dance. Due to the long history of Indian Sanskrit drama, except for the relevant records in dance theory, the specific performance form can not be verified. However, according to the relevant records in dance theory, the three characters "Wenba", "Jialu" and "Lamu" in the opening play of Tibetan opera are similar to the "concept character play" in Sanskrit opera. Tibetan Opera is a very important part of traditional Chinese opera, which inherits the educational aesthetic characteristics of Chinese opera.

  • Delta sequences play an important role in convergence and approximation theory. Much of classical approximation theory is based on delta sequence. The rate of convergence of certain types of these sequences in Sobolev spaces has recently been studied. Here we estimate convergence rate of convolution type delta sequence in higher dimension.

  • In this paper, MOS devices with ultrathin gate dielectrics (5.5 nm) are characterized and compared with those with conventional oxides particularly for nanoscale CMOS applications. Nitrogen concentrations and profiles in the nitride gate dielectrics were obtained that will play an important role in improving both hot-carrier lifetime and resistance to boron penetration. This approach seems very useful for future nanoscale CMOS device applications.

  • Very recently, it was presented that the one dimensional (1D) CuO atomic chains can maintain large magnetic moments. In this work, we analyzed m-resolved density of states (DOS) to understand the peculiar spin polarization occurred in Cu atoms. It was found that the $\mid{m}\mid=1$ states play an essential role in the spin polarization of Cu atoms. In addition, we calculated magnetic anisotropy energy (MAE) and observed that the distribution of MAE is strongly sensitive to the interatomic distance between Cu and O atoms. Besides, it was revealed that the contribution to MAE comes for the second half of Brillouin zone (BZ).

  • Some properties of a transitive fuzzy matrix are examined and the canonical form of the transitive fuzzy matrix is given using the properties. As a special case an open problem concerning idempotent matrices is solved. Thus we have the same result in a intuitionistic fuzzy matrix theory. In our results a nilpotent intuitionistic matrix and a symmetric intuitionistic matrix play an important role. We decompose a transitive intuitionistic fuzzy matrix into sum of a nilpotent intuitionistic matrix and a symmetric intuitionistic matrix. Then we obtain a canonical form of the transitive intuitionistic fuzzy matrix.

  • Dental caries has been reported to be infectious disease by Streptococcus mutans(S. mutans). The ability of S. mutans to produce dental plaque has been shown to be related to glucan synthesis from sucrose by glucosyltransferase (GTase). Glucan is known to play an important role in the initiation of smooth surface caries. For preventing dental caries by traditional medicines, two hundred kinds of natural products were assayed for inhibiting activity against S. mutans and GTase. During the assay course, we chose some active plants against S. mutans and GTase and then applied these plant extracts to toothpaste.

  • Programmable Metallization Cell (PMC) is a memory device based on the electrolytical characteristic of chalcogenide materials. We investigated the nature of thin films formed by photo doping of Cu ions into chalcogenide materials for use in solid electrolyte of PMC. We were able to do more economical approach by using copper which play an electrolyte ions role. The results imply that a Cu-rich phase separates owing to the reaction of Cu with free atoms from chalcogenide materials.

  • In this paper, accurate position control of a stenciling robot manipulator is designed. The stenciling robot is requried to draw lines and characters on the pavement. Since the robot is huge and heavy, the inertia is expected to play a major role in the tracking performance as desired. Here we are proposing neural network control scheme for a computed-torque like controller for the stenciling robot. On-line compensation is achieved by neural network. Simulation studies with stenciling robot are carried out to test the performance of the proposed control scheme.
