Purpose: This study attempted to measure the awareness and performance of the forensic nursing role among the emergency department (ED) nurses to emphasize the presence of forensic nurses in ED and suggest encouraging essential forensic nursing education. Methods: A quantitative descriptive survey using a questionnaire was carried out to the nurses, who had a minimum of 6 months experience in the ED. This study was conducted at 7 hospitals in the Republic of Korea. Results: A total of 124 nurses were enrolled. As to the Awareness of the forensic nursing role, all the core data obtained an average of 3.39 points out of 4 points, and the documentation category was the highest score of 3.57. For the performance of the forensic nursing role, all the core data obtained an average of 2.50 points out of 4 points, and a documentation category acquired the highest score of 2.91. There is a significant correlation of (r=.452, p<.001) the awareness and performance of the forensic nursing role. Conclusion: Currently, the awareness regarding the forensic nursing role is low level. Therefore, the performance of forensic nursing role has also become low level. Consequently, forensic nursing education is essential for ED nurses to preserve evidence accurately.

The purpose of the study was to investigate how students generalize and prove the factoring of $x^n-1$ using a Computer Algebra System application and the role of CAS in this process. The theoretical framework consists of the anthropological and the instrumental approach. In particular, the basis of the Task-Technique-Theorization(T-T-T) frame adapted form Chevallard's anthropological approach of Didactics is utilized. We found that Technique-Theorization emerges in mutual interaction between paper-and-pencil techniques and computer algebra techniques. And this interaction led to the students' theoretical reflection and conceptual understanding. In this process, we could identify three epistemic role of CAS : the role of checking the result, the role of cognitive stimulation and the role of extending thinking. Therefore CAS plays on a epistemic role of checking the result of a task, stimulating the student' cognition and extending their thinking as well as pragmatic role of producing the result of a input.

The study deals with the problem of transformation of the teacher's role in the information society. A comparative analysis of the competencies of the teacher, declared in the Pedagogical Constitution of Europe, the documents of the New Ukrainian School, the scientific research of contemporary scholars was conducted. The correlation analysis of the survey results for teachers and students' parents on their expectations of contemporary teachers was presented. It was noted that the analyzed views of scientists, legislative documents, and the results of sociological research help to modify the educational process of competitive and effective prospective teachers' training. Based on the survey results the acmeograms of the teacher's main role positions as an orientation for training of prospective teachers were developed.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate nurses' role conflict and intention to remain and to identify factors that may influence this intention. Methods: Data were collected from 172 nurses in a 600-plus bed hospital on nurses' intention to remain, which included 47 items and nurses' role conflict, which included 82 items from a self-reported questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS 22.0 Results: The mean of the role conflict frequency was 2.71(${\pm}.39$) and the mean severity was 2.86 (${\pm}.47$). The most significant item among the items of intention to remain was "a nurse's job is to help people." The intention to remain employed showed a significant difference in the duration of desired working period and subjective job satisfaction. The subjective job satisfaction of nurses was the most influential variable as a factor affecting the intention to remain, followed by frequency of role conflict in nursing practice. Conclusion: These results suggest that inadequate nursing environments in nursing practice require improvement and support the idea that nurses with positive attitudes of the nursing organization and theirs leaders reduce nurses' related fatigue.

Objectives: This study aimed to identify measures that can improve the quality of dental hygienists' work by analyzing the effects of role stress, resilience, and professional identity on burnout. Methods: Self-report questionnaires were administered to 339 dental hygienists working in dental institutions located in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeong-gi, South Korea from August 1 to September 30, 2017. Results: Out of a maximum of 5 points, role stress scored an average of 2.80, resilience scored 3.61, professional identity scored 3.27, and burnout scored 2.78. The factor that most affected the exhaustion of dental hygienists was professional identity (${\beta}=-0.397$), followed by role stress (${\beta}=0.251$), and resilience (${\beta}=-0.150$). Conclusions: The results showed that the role stress, resilience, and professional identity of dental hygienists affected burnout. Efforts to reinforce the resilience and professional identity of dental hygienists may be needed alongside efforts to reduce role stress. Hence, resilience reinforcement programs alongside supplemental education programs that reinforce the work skills required of dental hygienists according to their clinical experience after graduation should be developed.

Purpose - This study examines the impact of company ownership nature and of the dual role of CEO and board chair on R & D investment intensity, as well as the moderating effect of this dual role. Most previous research focused on the impact of the dual role of CEO and board chair on firm performance. Design/methodology/approach - This study uses A-share companies listed on the Shenzhen and Shanghai stock exchanges in China from 2008 to 2017. The univariate and the multivariate regression analysis were hired In order to analyze the data. Findings - The results show that there is a significant negative relationship between state-owned companies and R & D investment intensity. In addition, there is a significant positive relationship between the dual role and R & D investment intensity. The effect of state ownership on R & D investment intensity is more negative when CEO-board chair duality exists. This means that in case of state-owned companies, if CEO serves as the board chair, the propensity to invest in R&D is further reduced. Research implications or Originality - This is a pioneering study that considers the joint effect of state-owned companies and dual role on R & D investment intensity in the Chinese economy.

Objectives: This study was conducted to confirm the relationship between role conflict, positive psychological capital, and the psychological well-being of dental hygienists and to provide data for improving professionalism by increasing the psychological well-being of dental hygienists. Methods: From May 21 to June 22, 2023, 190 data were collected through an online community of dental hygienists. The collected data were analyzed IBM SPSS program ver. 23.0 and AMOS ver. 26.0. Statistical analysis methods, convergent validity test, structural equation model analysis, and model fit were performed using independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, confirmatory factor analysis, structural model fit test, and path analysis. Results: The lower the role conflict of dental hygienists and the higher the positive psychological capital, the higher the psychological well-being. The lower the role conflict, the higher the positive psychological capital. However, there was no mediating effect between positive psychological capital and role conflict, as it was not statistically significant. Analysis of the total effect of role conflict and positive psychological capital on psychological well-being revealed that positive psychological capital had a greater influence on psychological well-being than role conflict. Conclusions: Psychological well-being was related to positive psychological capital and role conflict. Future efforts are needed to improve positive psychological capital and psychological well-being of dental hygienists and reduce role conflict.

The purpose of this study is to construct an evaluation and improvement program of the spousal role in middle-aged rural couples. Based on the results of the previous survey conducted for the development of a program in 2001 and a review of previous research, this program consisted of four sessions, such as the history of my marriage-change and continuance, equal spouse role-individuation and integration, healthy role performance and communication, and the improvement of relations and the giving tree. Also the improvement indicators can be used as an educational tool for the educational program of the four sessions that were developed. The educational program was accomplished by giving lectures and activities for one hour per session. The effectiveness of the educational program on every role area except the economical role area was proved to be significant.

RBAC(Role Based Access Control) has the advantage that reflects the real world because it presents a basic access control model based on user's role in organizations or governments. But in RBAC model, the privileges of the senior roles in these hierarchies are inherited from those of the junior roles, so RBAC model has the privileges problem that he senior are given more privileges than they need. That is, it tends to infringe the Principle of Least Privilege. On the other hand, if we give some excessive constraints on the RBAC model without scrupulous care, it may be meaningless property of role hierarchies. Furthermore, such complicated constraints make it more difficult to mange resources and roles in huge enterprise environments. The purpose of this paper is to solve the problems of role hierarchies such as inefficient role managements and abuse of privileges by using newly presented the backward tag pointer path expression in the inheritance of privileges.

This study aims to explore the men's perceived meanings attached to the father role and to investigate the relationship between the father role meanings and men's psychological well-being. Using two waves of data from the National Survey of Families and Households (NSFH) across 5 years, this study estimated the influences of the father role meanings at T1 on psychological well-being of fathers at T2 with hierarchical Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression models. Findings showed that the majority of fathers felt the father roles interesting, appreciated, sociable, and well-done. However, stepfathers reported significantly more negative meanings of the father role than fathers having biological children. Positive role meanings attached to the father role in terms of interesting and well-done were Significantly associated with men's psychological well-being. Although this study has some limitations by using the secondary survey data (NSFH), this study has an advantage in exploring the association between fatherhood experiences and men's psychological well-being from men's own perspectives. Also, this study has strength in a sense that long-term effects of the father role meanings were investigated and empirically provide findings in consistent with role identity.
