Suggestions for Improvement of Port Charge Discount Policies - focused on Ulsan Port

  • 한국은 해상 운송에 의존하는 수출입 중심 경제 국가이며, 항만은 국가 경제 성장에 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 이러한 항만의 경쟁력을 확보하고 유지하기 위해서는 하드웨어와 소프트웨어적인 투자가 필요하지만, 정책적인 지원으로도 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 본 연구는 에너지 허브 항만인 울산항을 대상으로 항만시설 사용료 감면제도를 탐색적으로 분석하여 제도의 불합리성을 식별하고 이를 해소하기 위한 개선 방안을 제언하였다. 본 연구는 약 10년간의 울산항 물동량과 항만시설사용료 감면에 대하여 분석하였으며, 액체화물 특화 항만임에도 불구하고 컨테이너 화물에 대한 감면지원이 편중되어 있고 심지어는 통과선박이라는 사유로 이들에게 입출항료 100% 감면지원하고 있었으며 이것은 심각한 도덕적 해이를 초래할 수 있다는 점을 감면제도의 불합리 요소들로 식별하였다. 본 연구는 울산항의 항만시설 사용료 감면제도 개선 방안으로 컨테이너에 대한 지원을 친환경 활동 지원 강화, 외항통과선박에 대한 감면 요율 조정 또는 감면신청 절차 개선을 제안하였다.

A Study on the Operation Method of Packaging System to Enhance Logistics Efficiency

  • This study sought efficiency of collaboration between manufacturers and distributors by finding a way to improve logistics efficiency in order to save distribution cost and standardize packaging together with profit generation by way of simple-display packaging in discount stores. For the study purpose, the impact of products with RRP (Retail Ready Packaging) by each discount store on the collaboration achievement such as loading efficiency was observed. From this observation, an alternative packaging system that can improve logistics efficiency between manufacturers and distributors was sought and the role of distributors in distribution standardization was explored. The purpose of this study also includes suggesting some implications on future basic direction of environment-friendly management. If this study would induce distributors to have more interest in distribution standardization and if logistics efficiency would be enhanced by the operation of packaging system considered of compatibility with pallets, this study would have academic significance and create practical values.

유통경로 구성원 간 파트너 기회주의의 결정요인과 통제기조로서의 관계학습 (Determinants of Partner Opportunism in Distribution Channels: Relational Learning as a Control Mechanism)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate determinants of partner opportunism in Korean discount store distribution channels. In addition, this study also try to examine moderating role of relational learning in the relationship. This study deals with transaction specific investment asymmetry, mutual hostages, payoff inequity, cultural diversity, and goal incompatibilities as determinants of partner opportunism. For empirical testing, 293 respondents of suppliers of discount store in Korea were surveyed and the analysis utilizing partial least square model indicated that TSI asymmetry, payoff inequity, and goal incompatibilities had positive effects on partner opportunism. On the other hand, mutual hostages had negative effect on partner opportunism. In addition, relational learning had moderating effect on the relationship between TSI asymmetry, mutual hostages, and payoff inequity and partner opportunism.

유통산업의 서비스품질 수준 비교와 전환장벽에 관한 연구 -백화점과 대형할인점을 중심으로- (A Study on the Service Quality Level and Switching Barriers in the Retail Industry -Comparing Department Store with Discount Store-)

  • This research tried to clarify the impact of service quality on the customer satisfaction, customer retention and switching barriers in the competitive structure between department store and discount store. We measured the level of service quality by using the methodology which had been adopted in the service quality research area. Using the internet survey method, we gathered data from 750 consumers of each industry. We used various analysis methods such as the regression analysis, t-test, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results reveal different patterns in the two sectors in the retail industry with respect to switching barriers. We conclude that switching barriers play an important role in consumer satisfaction and retention.

개인별 인솔의 족궁 지지가 신체 균형능력에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Transverse and Longitudinal Arch Support of Individual Discount rate on the Balance Ability of the Body)

  • The body to achieve an interaction that are connected to each other. Foot of which plays an important role in motor activity. Insole that has been recently used, have a dynamic functional elements. In particular, support of Arch plays a very important role in terms of a motor function of the human body as a whole. It is possible to predict the proper support Arch with insole, the overall structure of the body there can affect the balance. In this study, by applying the insole which supports the Longitudinal arch and Transverse arch, you are trying to assess the interaction of balance and the body's ability. To target the 20 there is no problem in the sense of balance, college student, and changes were observed by measuring the Center of Position area and distance through the Biorescue device worn before and after led by Arch support. As a result, I showed improved results significantly discount rate after wearing in the Center of Position area and distance to assess the balance ability. Therefore, the correction insole function is to support the Longitudinal arch and Transverse arch to an important role in the foot. It may be that it has a functional element for improving the balance of the function of preventing collapse of the arch during walking, to disperse the weight of the entire foot, us reduce fatigue in the end.

  • This paper investigates the time-inconsistent agent's optimal consumption and investment problem under inflation risk. The agents' discount factor is governed by hyperbolic discounting, which has a random time to change. We impose the inflation risk which plays a crucial role in long-term financial planning. We derive the semi-analytic solution to the problem of sophisticated agents when the time horizon is finite.

  • The value of all goods and services produced in the economy divided by population has risen from $7.355 in 1998 to $12.646 in 2003. In other to maintain higher standard of lifestyle, people are 'hungry' for time. The idea of saving time and money by providing many different types of products altogether in one space was implemented with the advent of large warehouse style discount stores. These type of retailers grew in size and popularity during the 1990s and 2000s, causing a decline in sales in the old, traditional downtown markets. From ancient to twenty-first century, the role of the grocery store has been that of the social center of the community; a place of unity and interaction of people. The experience a customer engages in at a grocery store is comparable to that of a museum. Not only is the grocery store a unique, physical space to visit, but also a rich collection of fascination items. The layout of the interior space is meticulously planned for the efficiency of customer circulation and the success of product exhibition. Eye catching graphics and attractive lighting also add to the appeal of the grocery store's high style. Shoppers are no longer satisfied with just buying good products at a lower price. Shoppers prefer to spend time in an entertaining environment. The Hanaro Mart project in this study propose the idea of warehouse style discount stores which can satisfy all the demands of customers and their various activities. This study will open up unique dimensions of aesthetic expression and experience in the interior environments. Shopping for food is an unavoidable task. If food shopping is enjoyable, more people will spend more time at it.

Corporate Social Responsibility and the Pricing of Seasoned Equity Offerings: Does Executive Firm-Related Wealth Matter?

  • This study exemines the roles of corporate social activity (CSR) and executive compensation structure on the pricing of seasoned equity offerings (SEOs) with special focus on the role of CSR in reducing the level of information asymmetry between managers and future shareholders of issuing firms through SEOs. This study also investigates the interaction between executive compensation structure and CSR on the discounting of SEOs. We use a sample of 2,102 seasoned equity offerings of U.S. firms with CSR scores from 1995 to 2015 in our OLS fixed effect regression analysis. The results show that issuing firms with high CSR are more likely to expericence a lower degree of the SEO discount. The results also document a positive association between CSR and a high proportion of equity-based compensation of issuing firms' executives. The findings of this paper confirm that CSR attenuates the impact of information asymmetry and the pre-SEO price uncertainty on the pricing of the offers and hence the SEO discount. Furthermore, CSR reinforces the impact of executive firm-related wealth on the discounting of seasoned equity offerings. It appears that firm-related wealth motivates managers to actively engage in reducing information asymmetry activities before SEOs, thereby decreasing the SEO discount.

  • 본 연구는 충청남도 부여군 수박 농가와 대형마트 간 계약생산을 대상으로, 계약생산의 성립배경과 계약기업의 수직적 조정의 정도 그리고 이와 관련하여 나타나는 토지이용의 특징을 고찰하였다. 사례 계약생산은 생산자 단체 주도의 계약생산으로서, 기업의 역할이 신품종 수박의 품종 지정으로 제한됨에 따라 기업의 수직적 조정의 정도가 낮은 구매계약으로 유형화된다. 따라서 계약농가는 계약에 대한 진입과 탈퇴가 자유롭고, 나아가 복수의 거래처와 계약을 맺는 현상이 일반화되고 있다. 또한 계약농가들은 기존 윤작체계에 계약품종을 결합하는 방식으로 계약생산에 참여하고 있는데, 이 과정에서 역내 계약품종의 확산에 의한 수박 농업의 다각화가 나타나고 있다.

퀵서비스레스토랑의 지각된 가격, 소비감정, 소비자만족과 재방문의도의 관계에 쿠폰유형이 미치는 조절효과에 관한 연구 (Testing the Moderating effect of Coupon Types on Perceived Price, Consumption Emotions, Customer Satisfaction and Revisit Intention in Quick Service Restaurants)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 레스토랑 고객의 지각된 가격이 고객만족과 재방문의도에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 감정반응의 효과에 대해 검증하고 쿠폰유형에 따른 조절효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 자료는 퀵서비스레스토랑을 방문한 303명의 설문조사를 통해 추출되었고 자료분석은 SPSS 16과 AMOS 16.0 통계패키지프로그램이 사용되었다. 연구결과 감정반응은 지각된 가격과 고객만족의 관계에서 완전매개역할을 하는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 쿠폰은 지각된 가격과 고객의 감정반응의 영향관계에서 조절효과를 하는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 지각된 가격과 긍정적 소비감정에 대한 할인쿠폰의 조절효과는 무료쿠폰과 경품 쿠폰보다 강하게 나타났고 지각된 가격과 부정적 소비감정에 대한 조절효과는 경품쿠폰이 할인쿠폰보다 높게 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점은 레스토랑 운영자가 적절하게 쿠폰을 사용함으로써 고객의 반응과 지각된 가격뿐만 아니라 고객의 만족수준을 높일 수 있을 것이다.
