  • Recently, research activities to develop services for providing safety information to the drivers in fast moving vehicles based on various wireless network technologies such as DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication), IEEE 802.11p WAVE (Wireless Access for Vehicular Environment) are widely being carried out. This paper presents a proof-of-concept model based on a robot-car for Dilemma Zone Decision Assistant Service using the wireless LAN technology. The proposed model system consists of a robot-car based on an embedded Linux OS equipped with a WiFi interface and an on-board unit emulator, an Android-based remote controller to model a human driver interface, a laptop computer to run a model traffic signal controller and signal lights, and a WiFi access point to model a road-side unit.

  • In this paper, we propose an ordering chatbot that can process multiple keywords based on recursive slot-filling method. In general, in case of an order service using chatbots, the whole order process is performed only according to the sequence defined by the developer. That is, among all the information needed for the whole order process, only one input can be processed at one time. In order to reduce processing step for the order, we propose a recursive slot-filling method which fills out multiple slots per one time by extracting multiple keywords. First, a keyword array for the order is created according to the order related information. Next, from the input sentence of a user, multiple keywords is extracted. Corresponding slots for a keyword array will be filled with the extracted keywords. Finally, recursive routine will be executed to fill out all the blank in the keyword array. The usability and validity of the proposed method will be shown from the implementation of a smartphone application.

  • In the paper, a smartphone-controlled personal mobility system(PMS) based on a compass sensor is developed. The use of a magnetic compass sensor makes the PMS move according to the heading direction of a smartphone controlled by a rider. The proposed smartphone-controlled PMS allows more intuitive interface than PMS controlled by pushing a button. As well, the magnetic compass sensor makes a role in compensating for the mechanical characteristics of motors mounted on the PMS. For adequate control of the robot, two methods: absolute and relative direction methods based on the magnetic compass sensor and wireless communication are presented. Experimental results show that the PMS is conveniently and effectively controlled by the proposed two methods.

  • In this study, we developed an application that athletic leaders can refer to the map data, separated by a hot zone results of student athletes (Hot Zone) and cold zones (Cold Zone). The sport developed in this study is basketball. Athletic club's coachs can analyze a high probability of a student scoring players can use them to further improve training results. And student athletes also can through the accumulated data to identify their strengths and weaknesses expect motivation and performance enhancement, and accordingly expected to further study.

  • In recent years, the mobile OS market, enlargement and, at the same time, Android has mounted various smart phones and feature air conditioning, smart TV, cleaning robot, camera, etc. that the number is being spread at a rapid pace. But a lot of devices to control the modules and applications at once, this is not a device for controlling the dissemination of applications all in one place, and in charge of the devices that allow you to manage applications are lacking. Accordingly, in this paper, use the Web Server registered in the appliance can be controlled by management, Web access, is proposing and designing the system. This is the current research is actively in progress in the field of IoT (Internet of Things) would be utilized.
