  • Risk of damage on information system being grow according to increasing its dependence rate on most of organization. On this work, make planed for a safety assessment system in which information protection management system and threat analyzing method. Also, during threat assesment, we have planned possible an equal-weight applied assesment and considering the characteristics of the organization, an assesment which security factor's weight is variably applied to, and respective organizations to examine its security by itself in order to support the easy findings of the vulnerabilities on the management point of view, and to show the advices to practice.

  • Recently, railroad long tunnels are increasing and growing longer due to topological feathers like a lot of mountain in Korea. But fire disaster of a long tunnel cause many people to injury and death. For that reason, at the early design stage of a long tunnel, risk assessment and mitigation measure of risk for satisfying tunnel safety are required. According to the railroad facility safety standard (Korean MLTM Announcement No. 2006-395), risk assessment for railroad-tunnel fire should be performed when design stage. Therefore, various methods of risk assessment for tunnel fire have been studied and applied. In the paper, QRA(Quantitative Risk Analysis) for fire risk assessment by using CFD code is presented and the usefulness of CFD is discussed.

  • Underground power plant is required the strict safety management and safety assessment. Because it is the high risk of explosion by characteristic of enclosed space. In case gas leak of enclosed space, the ventilation facilities is very important in order to prevent explosion by the maintain less than the LEL(lower explosive limit). Thus, Through a safety assessment of ventilation volume is to reduce the risk for ventilation facilities in Underground power plant.

  • In any form of construction work, it is essential that accidents be prevented at every stage from foundation preparation to build completion. For this, it is necessary to use models that can assess risk and provide instruction for safe work processes so that the risk of accidents is reduced. Currently, however, very few models can perform these tasks. In this paper, we presents a model that assesses risk quantitatively by analyzing risk factors involved in stage of construction such as foundation work, erection work, structural work, equipment work, finishing work and etc work. The model performs assessment based on examples of accidents and by investing actual conditions during construction. In addition, we presents in this paper a safety management system was developed to assess risk during construction and to effectively train laborers.

  • In this paper, the risk analysis of smart home services was implemented by applying threat modeling. Identified possible threats for safe deployment of smart home services and identified threats through the STRIDE model. Through the creation of the Attack Tree, the attackable risk was analyzed and the risk was measured by applying the DREAD model. The derived results can be used to protect assets and mitigate risk by preventing security vulnerabilities from compromising and identifying threats from adversely affecting services. In addition, the modeled result of the derived threat can be utilized as a basis for performing the security check of the smart home service.

  • The importance of common life safety is getting growth with modern society progress. This paper shows the extended way of assessment of danger that outcomes better result than the previous assessment based on crime frequency assessment. The assessment of this paper involves time, illusion degree, floating population and the personal condition. The evidence theory is not beneficial when the number of component increases, the assessment is more complex than before. This research solves the problem through the fuzzy theory adoption. This paper shows more advanced result that can express better danger awareness and get the adjective expression.

  • Considering risks and artificial enrichments of metals in the soils of the study area, the study aims to analyze geology, grain size and geochemistry. Geology is mainly composed of gneisses and phyllites of metamorphic rocks, sandstones, siltstones, shales, tuffs of sedimentary ones and granites and andesites of igneous ones in the area. In the area, mean contents of metals are not meaningful in accordance with petrogenesis. The soil textures of the area are of S, lS and sL of sandy soil, L, scL, cL of loam and C, zC and sC of clayey soil. Mean contents of Ni, Cr, Co and Cu are meaningfully high in loam and clayey soil relative to sandy soil, whereas Ni, Zn, Cd contents are higher in clayey soil than in loam. Those differences imply the metallic contents are dependent to grain size. Based on the metal contents in the soils of the study area, Cu and Zn in loams and Pb in sandy soils are corresponded to soil contamination warning standards, and As showing 75mg/kg of maximum content in loams is assigned to soil contamination countermeasure standards, respectively. Artificial enrichment factor minimized wall rock and grain size relations is over 1 in Cr, Ni and Cu, but the factor is below 1 in average of other metals.
