유압식 능동형 현가장치의 특성에 관한 연구

  • 차량현가장치는 주로 운행중 승차감(ride quality)을 향상시키고, 현가장치의 변위(rattle space)를 제한된 범위안에 있도록 유지시켜 주며, 조정안정성(handling performence)을 향상시켜 주는 기능을 수행한다. 승차감을 향상시켜 주기 위해서는 도로 수직입력 및 횡풍등에 의한 외란으로 부터 스프링상질량을 절연 시켜야 하며, 조정안정성을 향상시키기 위해서는 타이어와 지면과의 접촉력변화를 최소화시키면서 타이어가 도로형상을 비슷하게 추종해야 한다. 또한 스프링상 질량과 스프링하 질량과의 충돌이 없이, 또한 현가장치의 각 링크기구들도 충돌없이 일정한 공간내에서 움직여야 하므로 현가장치의 변위는 제한조건내에 존재하여야 한다.(중략)

Optimum Design of Suspension Characteristics for Light Rail Vehicle (관절형 경량전철의 현가특성 최적설계)

  • The dynamic design process for the articulated bogie of light rail vehicle(LRV) was studied to design a primary and secondary suspension elements. Suspension stiffness and damping is selected on the basis of the ride quality and suspension stroke trade-off. LRV was modeled as a 2 d.o.f linear system for the design of vertical suspension characteristics and a 4 d.o.f linear system for the design of lateral suspension characteristics. FRA's class-4-track irregularity was used for the exciting disturbance on track. The optimum value of primary and secondary suspension characteristics was determined using this design process.

  • In the automatic transmission using planetary gear there exists nonlinearities due to the finite difference between gear ratios, which yield torque hole during shift and influence on the ride quality and life of clutch. Based on the reaction carrier and converter turbine speed sliding functions are defined. Nonlinear closed-loop control laws are derived using them. Computer simulation shows that the closed loop design is better than the open loop design and semi-closed loop design.

  • This paper reviews the previous researches related to the effects of whole-body vibration on human performance. The physiological effects of vibration were reviewed in the first part, and the effects of vibration on vision and manual control performance were discussed. the relationships between vibration and ride quality were also discussed. ISO-2631 was briefly reviewed, and cautions and limitations were discussed to avoid misinterpretations when we accomodate Korean population to this standard. Further researches were recommended to get better understanding of response characteristics of Korean to whole-body vibration.

  • Like other vehicles, the suspension elements of railway rolling stock have influence on running stability and ride quality. Thus, faults detection for suspension elements is important to prevent an accidents of train and to ensure safety against derailment. This study was started to grasp the feasibility of diagnostic method for the suspension elements of bogie without disassembling. Through several tests by running test rig, we found that fault detection for suspension elements was possible. Here, we describe some results.

  • Computer simulation is carried out for passive, active, and semi-active suspension system. Each RMS and frequency response to road profile input is calculated for comparison and evaluation of the performance. The vibration analysis and active control of the quarter model of a vehicle suspension is studied in order to evaluate the alternative control laws. This paper derives an optimal closed-loop feedback law for the semi-active suspension that justifies the clipped optimal approach.

  • This study had been performed to estimate for vibration characteristics of the Power Motor Coaches with Diesel-Hydraulic Drive and to secure a dynamic characteristic construction technology of another rolling stock. Air bags, springs and dampers of Bogie are carefully reviewed in order to improve ride quality. Dynamic analysis had been performed using VAMPIRE program, which had been developed by BRR, and the analysis results had been compared with test data to verify.

  • In this paper, the characteristics analysis results of the levitation controller of magnetically-levitated vehicle are presented. To get a good closed-loop system, the observer and controller must be designed to meet the control performance and ride quality requirements. So the transfer functions of the observer filter are described and analysed by using the relative and absolute signal concepts.

  • The railway shall be verified with the view point of dynamic performances before delivering to the Customer and the verification procedure shall be followed the Customer's demands or relevant international standard, UIC 518 (Testing and approval of railway vehicles from the point of view of their dynamic behavior-Safety-Track fatigue-Ride quality). In this paper, verification procedures in UIC 518 and the test results for domestic project are summarized.
