  • For accurate interpretation, ECG signal is measured by using 12 leads method. We look shape of Measured ECG signal and decide whether interpretation is accurate or not. In this paper, we propose new effective fuzzy decision system which uses fuzzy rules and membership functions for more accurate of ECG wave. We used PR interval, QRS interval and QRS axis as conditional variables for designing fuzzy rules. And decision rule of conclusion variable is determined by (sinus rhythm), (sinus rhythm+left deviation), (sinus rhythm+right deviation) and (sinus rhythm+negative axis). Experimental results showed our system made numerically easy decision possible and had advantage of simple design method.

  • This study aims to grasp the vital rhythm of the Chapel at Ronchamp by analyzing its rhythm through Henri Lefebvre's 'rhythmanalysis' in an effort to show the possibility of approaching the presence of this chapel. For the purpose of this study, Lefebvre's thought of rhythmanalysis was first contemplated, and a case study analysis was conducted on the concept and presence of the chapel in the design process. On this basis, examples of the chapel's rhythms were analyzed through Lefebvre's dialectical analysis of the triad of time(melody), space(harmony) and energy(rhythm). The results of analysis are as follows: First, the concept intended by Le Corbusier in the process of designing the Chapel at Ronchamp is expressed as the acoustic form, the modulor corresponding to the scale of the music, the light and shadow of counterpoint, and the opposite composition of musical changes. Consequently, the concept-mediated presence of this chapel is the presence of music. Second, at the Chapel at Ronchamp, a Lefebvre's rhythmanalyst experiences, or rather senses, two vital rhythms of an antithetical unity (i.e., acoustic curved rhythm and modulor-generated linear rhythm), with reference to his/her own rhythms. These rhythms are a dialectical union of spatiality of melodies temporalized through continuity, (i.e., acoustic curved form and modulor-generated linear form), and temporality of harmonies spatialized through simultaneity (i.e., light and shadow, materials and color, form of interpenetration, and stairs or windows/doors). These rhythms carry the measures generated by music-specific repetitions and differences in movements(energy). Consequently, the rhythm-mediated presence of this chapel is also the presence of music. In conclusion, the Chapel of Ronchamp indicates that an approach toward its presence can be realized through vital rhythms derived from Lefebvre's 'rhythmanalysis'. This study holds significance as an analysis of spatial rhythm and presence, employing a philosophical thought.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of interior space in his design hotel through the analysis of Tony Chi 's work and to present the direction of the design direction of the interior space of the design hotel in the future based on the results. The results are summarized as follows. First, the characteristics of the interior space of Tony Chi are divided into visual balance, repetitive rhythm, symbolic emphasis, exaggerated scale, design harmony, and physical borderlessness. Second, the spatial composition through visual balance was consistently shown in all cases, mainly by arranging elements such as furniture and lighting symmetrically. Third, the spatial composition through repetitive rhythm did not show its characteristics at the beginning of the works, but gradually appeared as repetitive rhythm expression using bold pattern. Fourth, Toni Chi constantly expressed the space composition through symbolic emphasis during the planning of the design hotel. Fifth, the exaggerated scale was mainly used to express the architectural detail vertically according to the height of the ceiling to express a grand space and appear in many works. Sixth, Toni Chi consistently expressed the composition of space through the harmony of design of oriental and western cultures, classical and modern designs in all cases. Seventh. In order to provide curiosity induction and aesthetic experience, spatial composition through physical borderlessness was used.

  • Among the factors of consumer preference, aesthetics has been importantly considered in competitive market environment. Generally, consumers' purchasing standard is influenced as their awareness increases relative to variations in their lifestyles and due to these changes in consumers' wishes, design techniques and methods are focused towards adapting to these changes. Thus, in order to satisfy consumers' needs, and markets characterized with the short durability cycle of products, a distinctive design should be developed with respect to the form of products. The proposed design should also support form as an important factor to attract consumers preference. This study attempts to understand typology based on a categorization theory, and the conceptual structure of aesthetics. Both are importantly considered simultaneously. In addition, the study proposes a new design process by extracting Rhythm affecting aesthetic. In conclusion, the result of this study aims at developing more consumer preferring design beyond the scope of the ordinary designer's idea and generation.

  • The Tuck, an important component of modem clothing design, was analyzed through various sources of literature comprised chiefly of domestic and imported fashion magazines from 2000 to 2003. The results were as follows: 1) The Tuck was organized in horizontal, perpendicular, oblique and radial directions. Application methods included repetition, gradation, radial arrangement, sequence and alternation of individual lines. 2) The Tuck was found in a variety of forms and uses. But due to structural characteristics, its function is more psychological and aesthetic than functional. The aesthetic properties of the Tuck included rhythm, optical illusion, abstraction, and material. The structural property of the Tuck occasionally substituted bust or waist darts. 3) The individuality and originality of the Tuck was used in unpredictable ways to give spatial ornamentality and emphasis on material. This enabled aesthetically unique designs to arise. To summarize, the Tuck, a component of clothing design as a formative art, was used in a variety of methods towards developing creative clothing design.

  • This study focuses on analyzing rhythms revealed in music songs of Korean third-generation idol girl groups. The development of genre and development of rhythm continues and the rhythm of Third World music is strong worldwide. The development of genres and rhythms continues and the rhythms of the Third World music are winning big popularity world wide. In the past, Third World rhythms were used only in countries where rhythm originated and neighboring countries, and the rhythms between countries were combined to occur in various conersence composite forms. In the past, the Third World rhythms were used only in rhythm-oriented countries and neighboring countries, and the rhythms between countries were combined in various and composite forms The changes in the global music market and the structure of the Korean pop music market show the same pattern in the local pop music genre. This study analyzes the phenomenon in which the Dembow rhythm and the tresillo rhythm, one of the rhythms of the Third World music, are concentrated in third-generation idol music, and notes that a certain number of combinations appear in rhythms and melodies. Moreover, this study identifies and compares the origin, the structure and the application cases of the Dembow rhythm and the tresillo rhythm by analyzing 12 songs of Korean third-generation idol girl groups. A game, as a sort of media like a movie, may be subjected to an ambivalent evaluation in accordance with the quality of each content. In this regard, it is necessary to have an active discussion about which game has desirable contents. Emotion which is an influential factor on interaction among players in game design needs to be approached from a social perspective. Also, based on social emotions associated with players, a significant relationship between emotional vocabularies and game emotions should be understood in comparison with social emotions within the game. based on social emotions regarding players As a result, social emotions within the game exhibited differences from the meaning of the terms. It is supposed that this result was caused by the ethical standards and differences in the real world. Accordingly, for qualitative enhancement of games, it is required to utilize the contents of this study, since emotions within the game are based on social emotions regarding players.

  • Contemporary architecture tends to deconstruct modern architecture based on rationalization just like reductionism and functionalism and secedes from it. It means change from mechanical to organic and ecological view of the world. According to these changes, consideration of a compositive relationship presented variety and complexity in architecture. Thus, the modern speculation based on rationalism cannot provide an alternative interpretation about complicated architectural phenomena. At this point in time, the purpose of this study is to investigate the possibilities of the fractal as an alternative tool of analysis and design in contemporary architecture. In this study, two major aspects are discussed. First, the fractal concepts just like 'fractal dimension', 'box-counting dimension' and 'fractal rhythm' can be applied to analysis in architecture. Second, the fractal formative principles just like 'scaling', 'superimposition trace', 'distortion' and 'repetition' can be applied to design in architecture. Fractal geometry similar to nature's patterned order can provide endless possibilities for analysis and design in architecture. Therefore further study of fractal geometry should be conducted synthetically from now on.
