Purpose: Most people are worried about contracting COVID-19, which in turn increases anxiety that they may have contracted COVID-19. Therefore, this study examines the effect of restaurant safety consisting of hygiene, store management, and countermeasure on trust, anxiety, satisfaction, and revisit intention. Research design, data and methodology: The data were collected from 537 consumers who had experiences of visiting a restaurant within the last 2 months and analyzed with SPSS 28.0 and SmartPLS 4.0 programs. Result: The hygiene, management, and countermeasure had a significant positive (+) effect on trust. Restaurant hygiene was found to have a significant negative (-) effect on anxiety, but countermeasure had a significant positive (+) effect on anxiety. Meanwhile, management did not appear to have a significant effect on anxiety. Trust was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on satisfaction and revisit intention. Anxiety was found to have a significant negative (-) effect on satisfaction but had no significant effect on revisit intention. Finally, satisfaction was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on revisit intention. Conclusions: As a result of the study, this study explained the safety of restaurants in the COVID-19 pandemic environment through the protective motivation theory.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors which affect the quality of nursing services and intention to revisit as perceived by hospitalized patients and nurses in medium sized urban hospitals. Methods: The SERVQUAL scale, a measurement of overall nursing services and intention to revisit a medical institution, was used. The sample consisted of 223 patients and 239 nurses from four medium sized hospitals in I city. Frequencies, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and Stepwise method regression were used to analyze the data. Results: For expectation, nurse and patient perceptions were similar, but for performance, patient perception was significantly higher than nurse perception for five factors. The factors affecting intention to revisit the hospital were those recommending, satisfaction with medical and nursing services. Conclusion: The findings indicate that differences between expectations and performance for both patients and nurses need to be reduced in order to elevate patient satisfaction. A precondition for intention to revisit and increased satisfaction is the development of marketing strategies as well as intervention programs in nursing.
Purpose - The coffee market in Korea has been dramatically developed and coffee chains dominate the Korean coffee market recently. Customer's perceived value is one of the marketing tools to get competitive advantages of coffee chains, and plays a critical role to study on coffee franchise industry. Thus, this study is to identify the effect of customer's perceived value (price, brand, service, and quality) on revisit intentions and word-of-mouth(WOM). Research design, data. and methodology - Customer's perceived values consists of four dimensions. 253 samples of 320 were used for data analyses excluding unusable responses. The data were analyzed with SPSS 21.0 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result - First, customer's perceived brand value and service value have a significant, positive effect on revisit intentions. Second, Price value and brand value have a positive influence on WOM. Third, gender difference plays a moderating role in the relationship between brand value and price value and WOM, and between brand value and revisit intentions. Conclusions - Males tend to focus more on their perceived brand value of coffee shops for revisit and recommendation, otherwise females consider price value to give an advice to others. Based on the results of this study, the marketers of coffee chains can develop effective strategies regarding gender difference as well.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the consumer-brand relationship quality on revisit intent and recommendation intent in the family restaurant. The questionnaires were distributed to 320 students in the K University located in Masan, who were sampled by convenience-sampling method. The surveys were conducted from November,10 to 24,2005. The 287 questionnaires were responded, and 15 unusable questionnaires were excluded, then 272 were used for the final analysis(response rate: 85.0%). The result of this study showed that 3 constructs(self-connective attachment, satisfaction and intimacy) of consumer-brand relationship quality have significant effects on the revisit intent(p<.01) and 2 constructs(satisfaction and intimacy) of consumer-brand relationship quality had significant positive effects on the recommendation intent in the family restaurant(p<.01) It meant that as consumer-brand relationship quality became stronger, the customer's revisit intent and recommendation intent became greater. As a conclusion, the foodservice manager in the family restaurant should focus on the marketing strategy to strengthen the quality of consumer-brand relationship especially emphasizing on satisfaction and intimacy in order to increase the revisit intent and recommendation intent of customers.
Objectives : In this study, the dental treatment satisfaction degree of the patients, who experienced the sleep dental treatment or non-sleep dental treatment, the revisit rate and the differences among the encouraging intention were compared and analyzed, and the primary factors through which the satisfaction degree of sleep dental treatment has influence on the revisits and the encouraging intention were analyzed, and the proposal was made on clinic management to raise qualitative medical service level on the basis of this study. Methods : The questionnaires filled out by the 202 users of a certain dental clinic located in Pohang-si, Gyeongbuk were analyzed. The frequency analysis and the crosstabulation analysis of the general characteristics of survey participants were carried out, and the satisfaction difference between the sleep dental treatment and the non-sleep dental treatment was identified with the t-test analysis. The multiple regression analysis were carried out to identify the factors through which the sleep dental treatment has influence on the through which the satisfaction degree of sleep dental treatment has influence on the satisfaction degree of the medical service and the revisited dentists. Results : In the medical service satisfaction degree in general, the sleep dental treatment had the higher meaningful value than the non-sleep dental treatment(p<0.05). In the case of the difference in satisfaction degree on each medical service factor, the satisfaction of the sleep treatment group was high in every case, but the meaningful difference showed up in the factors of waiting time, treatment procedure, revisit and the encouraging intention(p<0.01). The revisit to the sleep treatment dental clinic and the recommending dentist increased in proportion to the satisfaction degree of sleep dental treatment, and the Beta value appeared to be 0.337 at the influence of the subordinate variable(p<0.001). As for the influence on the sleep dental treatment satisfaction, the Beta value of the dental hygienist was the highest, marking the value at 0.375(p<0.01). As for the satisfaction of the patients who experienced the sleep dental treatment, the Beta value of the treatment fee was the highest, marking 0.352(p<0.001), in the multiple regression analysis of the revisit and the encouraging intention, and the 0.156 of dentist factor and the 0.152 of treatment procedure and waiting time showed lower regression coefficient(p<0.05). Conclusions : It is assumed that the satisfaction degree of sleep dental treatment, which is carried out as a new dental service has influence on the increase of revisit to the dental clinic as an important factor. But it was disclosed that the high level of treatment fee has the biggest influence on choice of revisit to the dental clinic. In the current medical charge system, the sleep dental treatment appeared to have a big influence on raising the quality of dentists, the satisfaction of patients, the revisit and encouraging intention, and also the roles of the dental hygienist was important. It is assumed that these facts are functioning as the factors that are linked to the increase of revisit and the encouraging intention.

Purpose: This research aimed at investigating the relationship among nurses' communication style, nursing service satisfaction, hospital service satisfaction, and intent to revisit the hospital. Methods: A correlational study was conducted including 270 family members of patients who were hospitalized in general wards in a general hospital in J city. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. Results: Affective communication style demonstrated the highest correlation with intent to revisit the hospital, followed by informative communication style, and authoritative communication style. Nursing service satisfaction demonstrated indirect effect through the parameter, hospital service satisfaction to the intent to revisit the hospital. Hospital service satisfaction demonstrated direct effect influencing the intent to revisit the hospital. Conclusion: With respect to nursing service, affective communication style is important to promote intent to revisit the hospital. It is necessary to improve nursing service, since it is an important variable that can improve hospital service satisfaction and hospital revisit intent.
This study focused on the relationships of the effects of DINESERV quality upon customer satisfaction, revisit intention and word-of-mouth intention. In addition, it examined the potential mediation effects of customer satisfaction between DINESERV quality and revisit intention and between DINESERV quality and word-of-mouth intention. To meet the above goals, customers who visited 27 Korean restaurants in Jeonju city were surveyed. Total 428 valid copies of questionnaire were then obtained and used for the data analysis using SPSS and AMOS 16.0 for 2-stage analysis. As a result, it was found that some potential factors of DINESERV, such as service encounter, atmosphere and food quality had significant effects on customer satisfaction, but there was no significant effect in the relationship between DINESERV quality and revisit intention; convenience, a potential factor of DINESERV, had a significant effect on word-of-mouth intention; customer satisfaction had a significant effect on revisit intention and word-of-mouth intention; service encounter, atmosphere and food quality had indirect effects on revisit intention and word-of-mouth intention by way of mediation effects of customer satisfaction.
The primary purpose of this paper was carried out to investigate the casual relationship between the servicescape factors and customer`s voluntary behavior, and revisit intention on the wine specific restaurant. For this purpose, a research was developed based on the relevant literature reviews. Data have been collected from 103 a real economic actors who was visited in Daejeon region and were tested by various statistical methods. The results of this empirical study was summarized as follows. The relations between the quality of servicescape of the wine specific restaurant and customer satisfaction have an effects on revisit intention significantly. As a result, a satisfied customers have more intention to revisit the wine specific restaurant. In contrast, there is no significant relationship between servicesacpe and revisit intention in the wine specific restaurant. Therefore, restaurants were required to provide to suitable servicescape by suggesting customer`s revisit inducement strategy. This study of servicescape and customer satisfaction in the wine specific restaurant can provide useful information to growing the wine market and wine specific restaurant specifically.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of reputation in culture oriented market on revisit intention and word of mouth(WOM) effects for Traditional Market. Research design, data, and methodology - 5 point Likert-scale has been adopted for this study designed based on previous study. Used SPSS ver.23, factor analysis & Cronbach's alpha, correlation, regression test were made. 277 samples were used for analysis. Culture was associated with higher revisit and word of mouse intentions for traditional market. The tourists can select a new places and visit the market if it has a special culture and special food which people can like and enjoy even they do not have regional brand image. Conclusions - Tourist satisfaction of users in traditional markets and their revisit intentions and the results indicated that higher customer satisfaction was associated with higher revisit and word of mouse intentions. Culture factors will be the motive to find out peoples a hometown in heart.
The purpose of this study is to analyze effects of medical service quality on the customer satisfaction and intention of revisit in cancer patients. To achieve purpose of the research, the data was collected from 420 patients in university hospitals using a standardized questionnaires. Using the structural equation modeling(SEM), this study examines the relationship among medical service quality, customer satisfaction and intention of revisit. The results show that the medical service quality factors such as medical expertise, administrative service have positive effects on the customer satisfaction which positively relates to intention of revisit. Medical expertise, convenience, administrative service of the medical service quality factors have positive influence upon intention of revisit. Therefore, the results of this study show that the medical service quality factors which are medical expertise, administrative service leading to customer satisfaction are important factors to revisit hospitals.
