은퇴 및 노후생활 인식, 은퇴준비 행동, 은퇴만족도 사이에서 경제적 은퇴준비 상황의 조절효과 (Control Effect of Financial Retirement Preparation on Retirement and Senior Life Perception, Retirement Preparation Actions, and Retirement Satisfaction Level)

  • 평균수명 연장과 2010년부터 베이비부머들이 은퇴하고 노인인구로 편입되면서 은퇴 후 삶에 대한 불안감이 고조되고 있다. 이러한 불안감을 제거하기 위한 선행연구들은 은퇴인식과 경제적 은퇴준비가 은퇴 후 삶에 직 간접적인 영향을 미친다고 하였다. 본 연구는 경제적 은퇴준비 상황에 따라 은퇴준비 관련 변인들이 차이가 있는지를 파악하고, 경제적 은퇴준비 상황이 은퇴 및 노후생활 인식, 은퇴준비 행동, 은퇴만족도 사이에서 조절효과가 있는지를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 2015년 11월부터 2016년 2월까지 전국 만 20세부터 69세 이하 성인남녀 1,500명을 대상으로 연구 목적과 절차를 안내하는 서한과 함께 우편으로 설문지를 배포한 후 수거하거나 연구자가 직접 배포하고 수거하는 방식으로 설문조사를 실시하였다 불성실하게 응답한 83건을 제외한 설문지 1,417부를 최종 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 경제적 은퇴준비를 잘할수록 은퇴 및 노후생활 인식이 긍정적이고, 은퇴준비 행동도 적극적으로 할 가능성이 높으며, 은퇴만족도가 높다는 것이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 보편적이고 실제적인 은퇴준비 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

  • This research was based on surveys about differences of perception on retirement among the babe-boomers. Middle-aged men and women in their 40s' and 50s' residing in metropolitan areas centering around Seoul were the main targets for the surveys. Results indicated meaningful differences between men and women in the level of percection and expectation about their retirement. More specifically, men noted physical health, economic sufficiency and work as significant factors for happy retirement. Women, on the other hand, answered economic sufficiency first, and then physical health and relationship with spouse as the important variables for retirement. In addition, men and women portrayed different expectations for difficulties of retirement. Based on the survey results, this research proposed possible national, social, corporate, and individual approaches for secure retirement of the middle-aged baby-boom generation.

The Study on Retirement Age Adjustment Reflecting Possible Workability of Elderly Population

  • This study aims to discern the determinants influencing the perception of workability among the elderly population and delineate an appropriate retirement age within the labor market context. Employing binary logistic regression, this research utilizes data from the Korea Welfare Panel Study (2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020) provided by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Welfare. The findings indicate that key factors shaping the elderly's perception of workability encompass familial responsibilities (household and marital status) and their levels of physical and mental well-being. Econometric analysis suggests an anticipated retirement age for the elderly population ranging between 67 and 69 years. In addressing labor market demands and informing policymakers, the study proposes deliberations on extending the retirement age for individuals aged 60 to 65. This range serves as a compromise between the identified retirement age of 67 to 69 and the current average retirement age for elderly labor market participants. Bridging the disparity between the perceived workability age and the prevailing labor market baseline is crucial for achieving social consensus. Therefore, any extension of the retirement age should carefully consider both the demand and supply perspectives within the labor market. The study's contribution lies in two main aspects: firstly, presenting a retirement age framework for the labor market that integrates the workability of the elderly population, and secondly, providing evidence-based research outcomes to guide informed labor policies.

남성 봉급생활자의 은퇴 전 생활설계프로그램 - 생활문제 인식 및 대처방안을 중심으로 (Pre-retirement Planning Programs for Male Salary Workers - Focus on Perception and Solving of Life Problems)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the affecting factors on male salary workers' pre-retirement plans and pre-retirement planning programs. The focus was on male workers' pre-retirement plans and programs for economy, housing, family relationship, leisure and health care in their elderly life. The major findings were as follows: First, the salary workers estimated their level of economic and health problems among their elderly life as relatively high. Second, the major factors affecting the level of planning for post-retirement were salary workers' age, job satisfaction, and reserved savings for their elderly life. Third, the major affecting factors on participation in pre-retirement planning programs were age, educational attainment, and spouse's job status. From these findings, it can be concluded that salary workers' level of pre-retirement planning and the needs of pre-retirement planning programs differed from their personal characteristics and preferences. Also, salary workers' characteristics related to job and retirement had more important effects on their pre-retirement planning than economic status.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the overall levels of the middle aged salary men's attitudes toward retirement plan and financial planning for post-retirement life, and to understand the influencing variables such as personal, socio-economical and job characteristics. The data were collected from the 445 middle aged male salary workers through the structured questionnaires and were analysed by SPSS program. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the salary men had different level of perception of retirement issues and retirement planning for post-retirement life. Second, according to the attitudes for retirement planning types, the affecting variables were different. Third, the results of the analysis showed that personal characteristics, job characteristics, economical background and the perception of family care were affecting the level of financial planning for retirement. And the positive attitude was the most crucial variable which affected the financial planning for retirement.

중소병원 간호사의 성공적 노후인식, 이직의도 및 노후대책의 융복합적 연구 (A study of convergence perception of successful aging, turnover intention and retirement plans of hospital nurses)

  • 본 연구는 간호사들의 노후 인식정도와 이직의도를 파악하여 성공적인 노후를 위해 안정적인 노후대책의 필요성을 인식 시키고자 시도 되었다. 연구대상자는 G시에 소재하는 간호사 290명이었다. 자료수집을 위한 설문조사는 2014년 8월 5일부터 8월 31일까지 실시되었고, 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 18.0프로그램을 이용하여 기술적 통계, t-test, One way-ANOVA, 변수간의 상관관계는 Pearson Correlation Coefficien 로 분석하였다. 연구결과 성공적 노후인식과 노후대책 정도는 정적상관관계(r=.13. p=.022)를 보였고, 정서적 노후대책과 성공적 노후인식도 정적상관관계 (r=.16, p=.007)를 보였다. 본 연구에 의하면 융복합시대의 간호사들은 안정적인 직장에서 이직하지 않고 입사 하는 시점부터 노후준비의 필요성을 인식하고 장, 단기적 관점에서 경제적, 신체적, 정서적 측면에서 노후 대책을 실천해 나갈 수 있는 교육프로그램이 요구된다.

  • Purpose: This study investigated perception and plan of dental technologists regarding the old age and retirement for them to enjoy stable old age. Methods: Dental technologists working in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggido were asked to fill out a self-administered questionnaire, and a total of 200 copies were used for analysis. The collected data were statistically analyzed by using SPSS 22.0(Statistical Package for Social Sciences. Chicago, IL, USA) (a=0.05). In order to compare perception toward old age preparation among the subjects, a Chi-square test was performed, and, to investigate the level of preparedness for old age according to general characteristics, t-test was performed. Results: In the analysis of the old age preparedness by age, there was a significant difference in financial preparation, Asset identification, use of retiring allowance, information gathering, senior town home, and stability (p<0.05). To the questions regarding perception toward retirement, the majority of the subjects (60.5%) answered they had thought about retirement, and many (23.9%) of them attributed the reason to job stress (23.9%). Regarding old age preparedness according to workplace, there was a significant difference in use of retirement allowance and education for old age preparedness between general dental laboratories and general hospitals (p<0.05). Conclusion: It is believed that, for preparation of dental technologists for stable old age, in addition to their personal effort, it is important to provide social support and practical measures to ensure welfare and retirement.

  • 본 연구는 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 은퇴관련 변인의 차이와 은퇴 및 노후생활 인식과 은퇴준비 행동에 따라 은퇴 이후 삶을 어떻게 예측하고 있는지를 파악하기 위하여 은퇴 및 노후생활 인식과 은퇴준비 행동 및 은퇴만족도의 인과관계를 규명하였다. 이를 위하여 2015년 11월부터 2016년 2월까지 현직에 종사하고 있는 전국 만 20세부터 69세 이하 성인남녀 1,500명을 대상으로 연구 목적과 절차를 안내하는 서한과 함께 우편으로 설문지를 배포한 후 수거하거나 연구자가 직접 배포하고 수거하는 방식으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 불성실하게 응답한 83건을 제외한 설문지 1,417부를 최종 분석하였다. 분석결과, 연령이 많을수록, 월 평균수입이 높을수록, 자가에 거주할수록, 은퇴 및 노후생활 인식이 긍정적이거나, 은퇴준비 행동이 적극적이었으며, 경제적 은퇴준비 수준이 높고, 은퇴 이후 삶이 만족스러울 것이라고 기대하고 있었다. 자녀수가 적을수록 은퇴 및 노후생활 인식과 은퇴만족도가 긍정적이었고, 자녀수가 많을수록 은퇴준비 행동이 적극적이며, 경제적 은퇴준비 수준이 높았다. 또한 은퇴 및 노후생활 인식이 긍정적일수록, 은퇴준비 행동이 적극적이었고, 은퇴 이후 삶이 만족스러울 것이라고 기대하고 있었다. 본 연구는 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 은퇴관련 변인의 차이를 규명하고, 은퇴 및 노후생활 인식과 은퇴준비 행동 및 은퇴만족도의 인과관계를 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

  • Purpose: This study examine the relationships retirement plans, perception of successful aging and attitude toward retirement nurses. Methods: The subjects of this study 200 nurses at two hospitals in C City. The data collection period from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2011. Results: The degree of retirement significant according to age, marital status, education level, dependent, duration of employment, shift, department, annual salary. he degree of economic retirement plan showed significant differences according to age, marital status, education level, dependent home, duration of employment, department, annual salary. he degree of physical retirement plan showed statistically significant differences according to age, marital status, dependent, department. The degree of emotional retirement plan showed significant differences according to age, department. Conclusion: mprove the retirement of clinical nurse, we need a systematic based on physical and mental health.

맞벌이 부부가계의 은퇴계획 : 남편과 부인의 은퇴예상연령 및 관련변인을 중심으로 (Retirement Planning of Two earner households : Expected Age of Retirement of husbands and wives and Related Variables)

  • The purpose of this study was to show the expected age of retirement of the couple, husband and wife, individually, the difference between the expected age of retirement of the husband and that of the wife, and to analyze contributing variables. The sample in this study numbered 517, of which 229 were husbands and 288 were wives. The independent variables were divided into three factors including personal, financial, and work related variables. The results of this study were as follows. Among two earner households, both husbands and wives expected the husband's age of retirement to be higher than of the wife. The difference between the husband's expected age of retirement and the wife's expected age of retirement was five years, on average. For the husband, personal, financial, and work related variables had effects on his expected age of retirement. However, for the wife it was only the perception of future work life and expected age of retirement of the partner which had very significant effects statistically. The variables affecting the difference between the expected age of retirement of the husband and that of the wife included the personal variables as well as interaction of the couple related variables. The results showed that first of all, the planning of retirement among two earner households needs to be focused on the couple rather than on the individual.
