2,500TEU CONTAINER 선형개발에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Hull Form Development of the 2,500TEU Container Vessel)

  • Two hull forms of 2, 500 TEU Container Vessel, designed by Daedong Shipbuilding CO., LTD. were tested at the Circulating Water Channel of Chosun University for the evaluation of resistance performance. The test results of resistance, wave profile measurement and trim-sinkage measurement are compared in the form of diagrams and figures, and the results are discussed. A conclusion is drawn that the performance of modified form (model number : CU-201F2A2) is improved about 8% resistance performance at the design speed compare with original form (model number : CU-201F1A1).

  • The object of this study is to determine theoretical ship form which minimises wave making resistance under given conditions and developes theoretical ship form planing. By employing the streamline tracing method 1967's Korean Standard Ship Form of 10,000 G.T. linear has been reformed and tested at towing tank of Inha Institute of Technology. The design process and the reformed ship forms had been reported already in reference[4]. In this paper, resistance performance is experimentally observed with three models(original, theoretical, and reformed form) of 2m long in the towing tank, and total resistance of theoretical and reformed ship forms are decreased by 24.9% and 19.7% and wave making resistance by 66.4% and 47.7% compare to original ship form respectively.

  • A series of model tests carried out at the CWC of WJFEL for the purpose of prediction of resistance for the performance and improvement of resistance by attaching appendage for the ship of 50 knots class planing hull. The resistance performance evaluation has been carried out for the bare hull and for the appendage hull with two different depth of vertical type wedges. In the bare model test, trim and sinkage is calculated for the planing hull and the resistance is calculated. For minimizing the resistance, wedge appendage is attached and tested. Analysis and tests shows that for a 12.5mm wedge, resistance is minimum and overall power tallied to 5636ps.

  • It was investigated fire resistance properties and mechanical properties of high strength concrete column using ECC(Engineered Cementitious Composites) permanent form by KS F 2257 Methods of fire resistance test for elements of building construction and compression test for application of precast concrete column method of high rise building in this study. As a test result, it was appeared that ECC permanent form is available as fire resistance method of high strength concrete and new precast concrete construction method for facilitating construction of high rise building.

최소 조파저항을 가지는 컨테이너선의 선형최적화 기법에 대한 연구 (Development of an Optimum Hull Form for a Container Ship with Minimum Wave Resistance)

  • This paper presents the method for developing an optimum hull form with minimum wave resistance using SQP(sequential quadratic programming) as an optimization technique. The wave resistance is evaluated by a Rankine source panel method with non-linear free surface conditions and the ITTC 1957 friction line is used to predict the frictional resistance coefficient. The geometry of the hull surface is represented and modified using B-spline surface patches. The optimization method is applied to Series 60 hull and KCS(KRISO 3600 TEU Container Ship). The obtained results prove that the method is appropriate for preliminary hull form design.

한국 저속 소형 연안어선의 저항성능 (Resistance Performance of Korean Small Coastal Fishing Boat in Low-Speed Range)

  • Korean small coastal fishing boats have the different kind of fisheries and customs against Japanese fishing boats. Those bring some influences on the principal parameters of hull form. In same displacement, Korean small coastal fishing boat has generally shorter length, draft and wider breadth than Japanese fishing boat. Furthermore, even though the parameters of each hull form are similar, it is known that the resistance performance of Korean small coastal fishing boat is worse than that of Japanese fishing boat. In this study, the representative hull forms of Korean and Japanese small coastal fishing boats are selected and compared to evaluate the resistance performance of Korean fishing boat in low-speed range. The hull form of the Korean fishing boat is modified as comparison with that of the Japanese fishing boat to confirm the partial characteristic differences between the hull forms and the resistance performances. The representative partial characteristics of hull form are the gradient of chine line, keel shape and stern length. The resistance performances of the modified hull forms are evaluated by INHAWAVE which is one of CFD program and model tests in towing tank. The results of the present study will be used to improve the resistance performance and to develop the practical hull form of Korean small coastal fishing boats as principal data in the preliminary hull form design of fishing boats.

선미 웨지가 차인선형의 조파저항에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Stern Wedge on the Wave Making Resistance of Chine Hull Form)

  • 수치계산을 통해 소형 고속선의 선형설계를 수행하였다. 선형변환 프로그램인 HCAD를 사용하고 차인형 선형을 기준선으로 하여 둥근바닥 선형을 설계하였다. WAVIS를 시용하여 두 가지 선형에 대한 선체주위의 유동장과 조파저항 계산 결과를 보였다. 차인형 선형의 저항특성이 둥근 바닥선형에 비해 다소 크게 나타났으나 소형 조선소의 건조비를 감안하여 차인형 선형의 선수부 개량과 선미 웨지의 설계를 통해 조파저항의 감소를 시도하였다. 수치계산 결과 선미 웨지의 적용에 의해 차인형 선형의 조파저항성능이 고속영역에서 개선되었음을 확인하였다.

비선형 최적화 기법에 의한 최소 조파저항 선형 생성 (Hull Form Generation of Minimum Wave Resistance by a Nonlinear Optimization Method)

  • 본 논문은 조파저항 성능 평가법을 비선형 계획법에 적용해서 선수 형상의 최적화에 응용한 연구결과이다. 조파저항은 비점성 포텐셜 유동의 가정으로 랜킨 소오스법(Rankine source method)을 이용하여 계산하였고 최적화 기법으로는 SQP(Sequential Quadratic Programming)법을 이용하였다. 선수형상의 표현과 변경은 스플라인(spline)함수를 이용하였으며 본 방법에 의하여 조파저항이 최소가 되는 선수형상의 결정이 가능하였다. 또한 마찰저항공식과 경험식으로 주어지는 형상영향계수(from factor)를 고려한 점성저항을 첨가하여 총 저항이 최소가 되는 선수 형상도 도출하여 서로 비교하였다.

순차적 설계기법에 의한 DWT 75,000 정유운반선의 선형설계 (Stepwise Hull Form Design of DWT 75,000 Product Oil Carrier)

  • To design the modified hull form with relatively unfavorable dimensions and constraints than the parent ship the stepwise design was applied. In each design step the resistance characteristics was estimated by numerical calculations using CFD programs as Wavis 1.4, Wavis 2.1 and Fluent 12.1. The wave profiles along hull surface by potential flow calculations were investigated to improve wave resistance by modifying the bow shapes. To improve the stern shapes with a point of viscous form resistance the pressure distributions on hull surface and the limiting streamlines are investigated by viscous flow calculations. The design objectives such as shortening the LBP, enlarging the propeller tip clearance, moving forward of the LCB location and increasing the displacement were applied by stepwise to develop the new hull form of DWT 75,000 product oil carrier. Finally a new hull form was developed without the resistance performance loss compared with the parent ship.

비대선에서 구상선수 주위 유선의 방향이 선박 저항에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of Bulbous Bow Streamline to the Ship Resistance for Large Full Form Ship)

  • 본 논문에서는 비대선형에서 구상선수의 형상변화가 저항성능에 미치는 영향을 조사해 보기 위하여 구상선수 계열들을 창안하고 이들의 모형시험 결과를 비교 분석한 내용이 기술되었다. 구상선수의 형상을 결정짓는 7가지의 변수를 생각하고 이들을 체계적으로 변화시켜 구상선수 형상변화의 영향을 실험적으로 조사하도록 계획하였다. 총 23개 선형의 모형선을 제작하였으며, 각 선형에 대하여 저항시험, 유선조사시험 및 선측파고 계측시험이 수행되었다. 구상선수의 형상변화와 모형시험 결과와를 상호 비교 분석하기 위하여 유사한 특성의 구상선수들을 모아서 9개 그룹으로 분류하였으며 각 그룹 별 저항성분의 변화 경향을 분석해 본 결과 비대선에서는 형상저항이 전저항에 지배적인 영향이 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 모형시험 결과 및 이의 통계적 분석 자료로부터 비대선에서는 구상선수 주위의 유선의 방향이 저항성분들과 밀접한 관계가 있으며 저항성분들 중에서도 형상저항과 더욱 밀접한 관계가 있다는 사실을 발견하였다.
