공동주택 세대간 차음성능에 관한 연구 (A study on the sound insulation performance of partition wall between units of apartment house)

  • The sound insulation performance is one of the important factor that determined the amenity of housing life in residential building. Especially, Apartment house represents a korea habitation. So the importance of privacy and noise problems between habitable rooms are emphasized in these habitation. This study investigates and find a problem of sound insulation performance of partition wall of the apartment house in current state. The measurements were carried out in apartment house with and without a stair hall. And the measurements also carried out in current state and installing a sound absorbing material in receiving room and changing a front door and installing a inner door. In spite of the same partition wall, difference results were showed according to the stair hall. It is appeared that sound insulation performance without stair hall is 6-7dB(Dw) higher than that with stair hall. In case of without stair hall, sound insulation performance is Dw 49 for single number quantity for airbone sound. And In case of changing a front door and installing a inner door sound insulation performance is Dw 57 for single number quantity for airbone sound. The Results of measuring on the changes a front door and installed a inner door indicated that the flanking sound through front door influenced the sound insulation performance.

  • Recently the new inorganic sound-absorbing material manufacturing techniques have introduced. These mainly is plentifully used in the place where the noise damage becomes problem in life environment, partitioning of the apartment, the railroad and the express highway, school and the residential quarter neighboring area etc. While the sound-absorbing material has vast quantity of open pore, sound insulation material, used in the apartment and high building in order to prevent the sound between layers, has suitable quantity of closed pore. The fly ash is widely used in the cement materials and the concrete binder material. The bottom ash, however, is rarely used for the grain size is big and multiform with unburning carbon ingredient. In this paper, the practical field tests and the results on the sound reduction properties of formed concrete using bottom ash are described.

성인 보행에 따른 충격력 특성에 관한 연구 (Impact Power Characteristics by Walking for Adults)

  • Impact sounds, such as those created by footsteps, the dropping of an object or the moving of furniture, can be a source of great annoyance in residential buildings. Running and jumping impact sound by child and walking by adult are one of the most irritating noises in an apartment buildings. It's necessary to know that the impact power characteristics of real impact source in an apartment buildings. This study aims to investigate the impact power and impact time of normal walking and fast walking for 62 adults. It is shown that when the weight of the person increase, the maximum impact power increases. The impact power waveform for the adults walking varies for subjects walking types. The normal walking impact power lower than that of fast walking and impact time is higher than that of fast walking. The range of the impact power generated by adults walking is less than 1000 N.

대구시 도심 주거환경 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Contentment of Residential Environment in Daegu CBD)

  • Based upon the research and analysis on the downtown residents' satisfaction with their current housing areas and preference for future housing areas, this study clarifies the following. First, the breakdown on various factors influencing the housing environment indicates that downtown residents are the most satisfied with the easy access to the public transportation, and cultural and commercial facilities. Second, they are not content with the amenity aspects such as the air, noise, and the surrounding views, and the economic aspects such as the prices of the houses and the prospects for future investment. The low satisfaction suggests that the amenity aspects and economic aspects should be considered for future downtown housing development. Third, more than half of the residents in downtown areas still prefer to dwell in downtown areas. In the future downtown development, the close analysis on the characteristics of downtown dwelling, and the researches on the right direction of downtown housing development for the whole citizens of Daegu should be done in advance. Last, the majority of people wishing to reside in downtown want medium- or large-scale apartment complexes. In the future downtown housing development, it should be focused on the downtown residence with complex functions rather than on the small-scale maintenance projects.

대전 신도시 일부 아파트지역 교통소음의 특성과 주민생활에 미치는 영향 (The Characteristics of Traffic Noise and Its Effects on Inhabitants' Life at an Apartment Area in Taejon City)

  • To estimate the effects of environmental noise on inhabitants' life in an apartment area at Taejon, noise levels and traffic volume of major roads were measured. 203 housewives were surveyed by questionaires including general factors, noise related factors and three items of life effects: subjective evaluations on the general environment, annoyance, and life disturbance due to environmental noise. At the boundary adjacent to the road with more traffic volume, noise level was higher; according to the time, the amount of noise level was in the morning, in the evening, at noon, and at night in order. Most of boundary noise levels were higher than those of recommended standard environmental noise levels in a residential area. The boundary noise level showed a very significant linear relationship with traffic volume of near roads. Noise level difference in the apartments adjacent to three roads was ranged 2.4~6.7dB between in windows open and close state. The apartments adjacent to 9 lane or 6 lane-road, which were protected by noise prevention wall and 20m or more distance from the roads, showed higher noise level at middle floors and high floors than those of low floors; but the buildings adjacent to 4 lane-road, with no protection, showed higher noise level at low and middle floors than those of high floors. Among 203 housewives, 120(59.1%) participated in this study, and 86(73.2%) of them answered that the most serious environmental noise was traffic noise from near roads. Comparing traffic noise levels with those of before-migration, 67.0% participants found the environmental noise became louder. Fifty eight(49.5%) of the participants wanted noise protection wall and 15(25.9%) of them were willing to charge the fee. Less perception on the present noise comparing to those before-migration, less traffic volume, and lower noise levels in the apartments were related to higher scores of self-evaluation on the environment. Higher susceptibility on the present noise, areas with more traffic volume, higher boundary noise levels, and higher noise levels showed higher scores of annoyance on environmental noise and life disturbance. Considering above all things, it was suggested that traffic noise in this area was the major problem of environmental noise, and its' effect was so serious that inhabitants needed some preventive measures for better life quality.

Airborne Sound Insulation Performance of Window and Indoor Noise Level in the Balcony Expanded Apartments

  • Purpose: The balcony in the apartment is important space not only as a fire escape but also as a buffer for heat and sound insulation. However, with the legalization of balcony expansion for residential apartments in Korea in 2006, many households have eliminated the balcony space altogether to increase the inner space, often without sufficient consideration for the effects on the indoor environment. This study examined the sound insulation performance of exterior-facing windows in enclosed balconies and the changes in the indoor acoustic environment due to expansion to provide a basis for appropriate balcony expansion. The apartments for the field test were chosen where two balcony types can be compared, and the sound insulation performance for the eighteen balcony windows was measured. The windows installed were typical double window with thickness 16 mm or 22 mm. Measurements of the weighted standard sound pressure level difference showed a decrease of about 3 dB in sound insulation performance due to expansion. For common exterior noise levels of 70-85 dB(A), the indoor noise level can exceed 45 dB(A), the limit level regulated in Korea. However, it was found that the sound insulation performance of the window and the quality of the construction have more influence on indoor noise levels than balcony expansion itself.

울산시 서부생활권 내 주거지구의 도시적요소에 대한 비교 (Urban Factors of Residential Area in the “Western Region of Ulsan City” -Focused on the Mugeo, Daun, Gulhwa, Guyoung, and Cheonsang districts-)

  • The aims of this study was to provide information of sites to potential buyers and apartment builders through a comparative investigation on the urban criteria in 5 disDicts of Usan city Mugeo, Daun, Guhwa, Guyoung, and Cheonsang. The content analysis method was used to determine the urban factors which reviewed the urban and environment plan legal system and contents of plans which analyzed the housing characteristics in Ulsan city. Also utilized were professional's opinion and various emphasized elements such as the location of apartments through newspaper advertisement from 1990 to 1999. The urban evaluation factors used in this study were degree of air and noise pollulion, traffic facilities, land use, living environment and economics. Major findings are as follows: Mugeo area has the most convenience community facilities, Guyoung and Cheonsang areas have excellent natural environment-air and noise pollution.

교통운영에 따른 도로변 공동주택의 도로교통소음 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change of Road Traffic Noise at the Roadside Apartments according to the Traffic Management)

  • 우리나라는 1970년대 이후 시행된 도시계획사업을 통해 도시지역에 대규모 주택단지 및 주거지역이 나타나기 시작하였다. 그리고 개발된 지역에서는 공동주택의 비율이 점차 증가하는 경향이 나타나면서 도로변공동주택의 도로교통소음이 새로운 문제로 대두되었다. 그리고 1980년대 후반이후 공동주택은 15층에 머물던 공동주택은 20-30층의 초고층의 형태로 변모하였고, 최근에는 40층 이상의 공동주택이 등장하면서 도시지역의 주거밀도는 더욱 고밀화 되면서 이로 인하여 도로교통소음은 더욱 증가하게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 도로변에 위치한 공동주택에 영향을 주는 인자 중 교통량, 통과속도를 변수로 하여 소음지도를 구축하여 저감효율에 대해 살펴보았다. 결과는 교통량과 속도제한의 증감에 따른 변화는 한정된 공간에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 버스중앙차로제는 도로변에 약간의 영향만을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Evaluation of communication reliability of a test-bed networked to the home appliances with PLC modems for the Internet accessed home automation

  • This paper presents a systematic method of probing channel characteristics and communication reliabilities of home power line communication network applied to the Internet accessed control of home appliances. The effects of the three performance deteriorating factors, i.e., additive noise, channel attenuation, and intersymbol interference, can be systematically measured by applying the channel probing waveform in the frequency range from 100㎑ to 450㎑. Probability of bit error is derived with the probed channel parameters of the signal attenuation, noise and signal-to-interference ratio read in the frequency domain. The agreement between the derived probability of bit ewer and the measured probability of bit error support the validity of the proposed approach of probing home power line channel characteristics. The experimental results performed with the constructed test-bed applying the Proposed channel probing method and the operation reliability measurement of the overall networked system also support the feasibility of commercially deploying the PLC modem installed home appliances and their services for the Internet accessed home automation in densely populated residential apartment complexes.

청년·신혼부부의 주거선택요인에 관한 연구: 인천시를 중심으로 (Housing Choice Determinants of the Youth and Newlyweds Households: A Case Study of Incheon)

  • 본 연구는 인천시 주거실태조사 자료를 활용하여 인천시 청년·신혼부부의 주거선택결정요인을 분석하였다. 분석모형은 다항로짓모형을 이용하였으며, 변수는 주택특성, 주택시장특성, 주거환경특성으로 구분하여 인천시 유입, 유출, 지속거주 측면에서 주거선택요인을 도출하였다. 연구결과에 따른 시사점은 첫째, 인천시 지속거주를 위해서는 청년은 관리비 부담 완화, 신혼부부는 안정적인 거주를 위한 주택소유 및 질적 수준이 확보된 임대주택으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청년의 인천시 유입을 위해서는 임대료, 관리비, 이사비 등 주거비 지원과 치안/범죄, 소음수준, 의료시설 등의 주거환경 확보가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 신혼부부는 주택구입대출지원, 전세자금대출지원 등을 통한 주택소유를 위한 지원과 대기오염, 주차시설 등의 주거환경확보가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청년은 높은 주거비부담 시 서울시나 경기도로의 주거이동확률이 높고, 신혼부부는 신규분양주택과 높은 주택구입 가능성을 위해 타지역으로 유출될 가능성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 통하여 인천시 청년·신혼부부가 주거선택시 중요하게 고려하는 요인으로는 청년은 주거비, 신혼부부는 주택구입 등으로 향후 청년·신혼부부를 위한 주거 및 인구유입정책 수립을 위한 방향으로 활용되기를 기대한다.
