공동주택 지하공간 누수 예방 기술 정책 수립을 위한 소비자 인식 분석 연구 (Consumer Awareness Analysis of Residential Building Underground Structure Leakage Prevention Measurements)

  • 본 연구에서는 지하부위의 누수 예방 기술 정책 수립을 위한 방수 성능 분석 연구에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하고 이를 분석하였다. 설문 분석 결과, 현재 공동주택 지하공간에 대한 누수는 심각하며, 응답자 대부분도 이를 심각하게 인식하고 있다. 환경을 고려하지 않은 누수설계 및 누수예방 설계의 부재, 환경에 적합하지 않은 시공 시스템의 활용이 누수문제의 주요 원인이라 판단되었으며, 이를 개선하기 위하여 지하부위 외방수공법의 도입을 의무화하고, 설계시 공동주택 지하부위에 적용할 수 있는 표준 방수 기술 및 공법을 수립해야 될 것이며, 지하 시공환경을 고려한 방수 시공방법의 개발의 필요성이 강조되었다. 따라서 상기의 상황을 미루어 볼 때 법-제도에 의해 명시된 방수설계, 재료 및 공법, 유지관리 등을 방수시공의 전반적인 상황 컨트롤할 수 있는 가이드라인의 제시는 필수요소로 부각되었다.

Environmental Noise Prediction using Scale Model: A Measurement Methodology

  • Today, rolling stock has become a fast and convenient mode of transportation and has witnessed increased demand. But the speed improvement has resulted in increased aerodynamic noise and therefore residential districts near the railroad tracks are exposed to ever increasing noise level. A study on methodologies for measuring and appraising rolling stock's environmental noise has therefore become an important area of endeavor. In the case of the environmental noise, there are no changes in tone so prediction can be made by reducing areas around the railway. The present study explores estimation of the noise around the railway using scale model, and the source of the noise has been investigated as well. The scale model of rolling stock will have to be able to measure high frequency noise and it is required to be generated in a short amount of time. Since popping a balloon or firing a gun fits this requirement the present study analyzed the characteristics of these two different noise sources. Measurement was made in a large vacant lot and the reflection due to the ground was also examined. The method proposed here can be used in the future for predicting the environmental noise of railway vehicles.

창호의 성능 및 건물의 창면적비에 따른 기존 단독주택의 창호 리모델링 방안 연구 (Optimum Method of Windows Remodeling of Existing Residential according to the Window Properties and Window Wall Ratio)

  • A need for building energy efficiency is on the issue since energy demand in the building stock in Korea represents about 24% of the final energy consumption. As a way of improving the thermal performance of buildings for reducing maintenance costs and environmental conservation, a lot of effort is shown to improve the building energy efficiency by applying improvement of envelope insulation performance for buildings whose energy efficiency is low relatively through the remodeling. The windows of building envelopes are areas that lead to the biggest heat loss in the building. So windows are considered to be the primary target of energy efficiency in remodeling and various studies for windows have been done. Currently, however, only U-factor and airtightness of windows performance are regulated. Window wall ratio(WWR) and solar heat gain coefficient(SHGC) of windows are not considered when conducting the remodeling. In this study appropriate performance of windows(U-factor and SHGC) for existing residential is proposed according to the window wall ratio by using EnergyPlus. As the results of this study, the U-factor of windows representing the maximum energy savings is $1.0W/m^2K$ but in case of SHGC, the values that indicate the maximum energy savings are different depending on the window wall ratio. Therefore, when conducting the remodeling of windows, to determine energy efficiency by considering only the U-factor is inadequate so it is necessary that appropriate windows are applied to buildings by considering window wall ratio and windows properties(U-factor and SHGC).

  • Nowadays rolling stock has become a fast and convenient transportation and increased in its demands. But the improvement of speed has result in increase of aerodynamic noise and therefore residential districts near by the railroad are now constantly suffering from the racket. Thus the study regarding rolling stock's environmental noise measurement and appraisal has become important. The case of environmental noise, there are no changes of tone so prediction can be made by reducing areas around the railway. This is part of the study which estimates the noise around the railway using scaled model, and the source of the noise has been researched on. The scaled model of rolling stock will have to be able to make high frequency and it needs to be spread out in a short amount of time. When popping a balloon or firing a gun fits its condition and this study analyzed the characteristics of these two different noises. Measurement was held on a wide vacant lot and the reflection effect of the ground is additionally examined. It is judged to be used in the future when predicting the environmental noise of railway vehicles.

서울시 음식물쓰레기의 퇴비화 이용 방안 (Composting Potentials of Food Waste in Seoul and Its Utilization)

  • Composting is an ecologically sound method of recycling organic waste. Its advantages include the maintenance of soil fertility and improvement of soil physicochemical property. It is an essential part of the waste minimization. That is, composting should be included to increase the recycling rate up to more than 20%. To encourage composting of waste, it is necessary to develop some effective composters of small scale facilities and densely populated areas. For medium and large-size facilities, the optimum process should be selected. Technical counselling and support is desirable for small scale composters for urban residential and rural area. On the other hand, adequate amendment of relevant legislation should be followed to encourage composting. An example of unreasonable legislation is the current fertilizer management act. According to the regulation, the maximum allowable limit of lead in the compost is less than 150ppm, which is too strict. This limit should be increased to at least 300ppm, which is the observed level in most states in USA. At the same time, sound infrastructure should be established and decent publicity work should be achieved to accelerate composting activity. In this paper the desirable standard for some heavy metal concentration in the compost were suggested.

  • Urbanization has caused population influx into cities, creating housing problems, and housing developmental plans have often resulted in high-rise and high-density housing complexes. Such development have seldom incorporated the environmental factors associated with the complexes and the surroundings, just being busy in increasing the volume of the housing supplies, and as a result, various environmental problems, such as disruption of the air flow, reduction of sunlight exposure amount, and temperature rise, have occurred, deteriorating the living environments. Accordingly, the objectives of this paper are to find out the causes of the problems in the contemporary complex development plans from the urban environmental viewpoint through the investigative analysis of microclimate environment in those complexes, and, further, to present a residential complex planning technique and developmental direction so as to remedy the problems described above. Then a 3-D microclimate model 'Envi-Met' was employed to analyze and predict on the related issues, per the selected planning factors.

  • In this study, the odor of the parts and the odor of the surrounding environment were classified and verified. In order to increase the reliability of odor quantitative/qualitative analysis, the selection criteria for 5 sensory evaluators were established, and the n-Butanol control solution for each odor intensity was periodically trained to recognize the odor intensity before sensory evaluation. In addition, although various odor thresholds have been used through several studies, verification of whether the odor intensity value obtained through GC/MSD analysis is similar to the degree to which a person directly smells and feels it. It is important to select the odor threshold that has the best correlation with the odor intensity calculated by the person smelling the odor. Finally, sampling and measuring flowing airflow and temporary odors such as odor component analysis was experimentally difficult due to limited collection space and differences in concentration of generated components. In this study, a quantitative analysis was made possible by using the low temperature concentration (cooling) trap method. Through this, it was confirmed that the correlation with the actual odor intensity was not caused by the product itself, but by the environmental factor discharged from the product after creating the odor environment.

현대 신한옥 주거환경 여건에 따른 거주성능 만족도 분석 (An Analysis on the Living Performance Satisfaction Ratio according to the Residential Environment Conditions in Modern New Han-oks)

  • Recently, various researches for the improvement of Han-ok performance carried out. But, most of them are tend to come from the viewpoint of suppliers rather than that of Han-ok habitants. It means that environmental elements which real habitants feel are not reflected in the design of initial Han-ok design. Therefore, it is necessary that many researchers should analyze the degree of dwelling satisfaction derived from real life. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find the avaliable factors that need to be considered in the process of initial Han-ok design and construction through the analysis on the living performance satisfaction ratio of modern New Han-ok's habitants. Method: To achieve this goal, surveys were carried out in 83 Han-oks which actual habitants were living, located in 14 happy villages Jeonnam province. Following are survey items about residential environmental conditions; kinds of wall material, gap(connection joint between wall and wood columns) reinforcement or not, kinds of window, kinds of facilities around windows, kinds of heating source, heating types(single, multiple), financial burdens, selective heating or not and so on. Result: The results of this study may be used to improve the living performance satisfaction ratio of new Han-ok habitants and as a basis for the specifying the desired thermal comfort environment of dwelling.

도심지 내 노후화된 공동주택의 범죄예방을 위한 CPTED 기법 적용방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of CPTED for Crime Prevention in deteriorated Apartment Housing)

  • 최근 서울 시민을 대상으로 한 설문조사에서 환경 문제 해결, 교통 체계 개선과 함께 범죄 예방에 관한 요구가 가장 높게 나타났다. 그 중에서도 가족과 함께하는 주거 지역의 범죄 예방에 대한 요구는 다른 어느 항목보다 더 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 범죄 발생률은 주로 노후화 된 주거 지역에서 높게 나타나는데, 이는 범죄와 물리적인 환경 요인의 관계를 나타내 주는 것이라 할 수 있고, 주변 환경에 대해 적절한 조치가 범죄를 예방할 수 있다는 것으로 이해될 수 있다. 각종 범죄로부터 안전할 수 있도록 하는 다양한 예방법이 있지만 우리 주변의 물리적인 환경을 개선함으로써 범죄를 사전에 차단하고 예방할 수 있다는 CPTED는 이러한 측면에서 가장 주목받고 있는 방법 중 하나이다. CPTED의 기본 원리는 자연감시, 접근통제, 영역성 확보의 기본 원리와 활동성 강화, 유지 관리의 부가 원리로 구성된다. 본 연구의 목적은 도심지 내 노후화 된 공동주택 단지를 대상으로 CPTED의 원리를 적용하여 범죄 발생률을 떨어뜨리고 사전에 예방할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는데 있다.

Stepwise Logistic Regression을 이용한 부산지역 영구임대주택의 주거환경 수준 평가 분석 (A Study on the Evaluation of the Residential Environment of the Permanent Rental Housing in Busan Using Stepwise Logistic Regression)

  • 본 연구는 부산지역 영구임대주택의 주거환경 수준 평가 분석을 목적으로 수행한다. 영구임대주택 정책은 무주택자, 특히 도시지역의 저소득 거주자들을 위한 특별한 방법 중 하나이다. 주거환경에는 그것을 구성하는 여러 요인이 있음에도 불구하고, 정부에서는 단지 물리적인 공간만을 제공하는 한계에 봉착했다. 그래서 영구임대주택의 불만족 등을 개선하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하고자, 부산도시공사에서 관리하는 영구임대주택 거주자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 영구임대주택 만족도에 월임대료, 관리비등의 관리적 특성들은 거의 영향을 미치지 못 하였고, 거실 방 등의 위치 및 화장실 시설, 통근거리, 조망권, 놀이터 등이 영향을 미쳤다. 주민생활 특성 중에는 청소상태, 고성방가 발생 정도, 주민들과의 친밀도, 방법시설 등이 유의하게 나타났다. 따라서 앞으로 정부는 최신 기술을 최대한 활용하여 영구임대주택 거주자의 편의를 도모하되, 경제적으로 부담이 되지 않을 수준으로 적용하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 인식해야 할 것이다.
