Tourism Information Reservation System considering the Security and Efficiency (보안 및 효율성을 고려한 관광 예약 정보 시스템)

  • As new Information technology such as IoT develops rapidly, a lot of changes are occurred in our lives. The Internet of Things is the network of physical objects or things embedded with electronics, software, sensors and connectivity to enable it to achieve greater value and service by exchanging data with the manufacturer, operator and/or other connected devices. This change is also applied to tourism industry. These days many people make a tour reservation using the internet. But it is required to consider the efficiency and security of tour reservation system. In this paper, we suggest a tour reservation system. First, we describe the computer reservation system, hotel reservation system and reservation system. Second, we perform the modeling of general reservation system and suggested reservation system. Third, performance evaluation is carried out with respect to efficiency and security. The results show that the suggested reservation system has a better performance than a general reservation system. At last we described the results and future works.

  • Objective: To improve customer satisfaction through accurate information using computerized automation of the test reservation system and by performing all fasting tests on the same day with one fasting. Methods: Quality improvement activities of the test reservation system of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital improves internal and external customer satisfaction at the time of test scheduling by having the reservation system reflect test order and test time automatically and making the system to increase the same day test reservation rate. Results: Test process was smooth due to accurate test reservation and information based on test priority due to the introduction of the computerized test reservation system. Internal and external customer satisfaction improved due to the marked reduction in time required for making a reservation thanks to the improvement of work process. Conclusion: Building a computerized test reservation system was an effective measure to improve external and internal customer satisfaction.

  • This study aims to verify a difference between the years 2014 and 2019 of Uiryeong-Gil, which is operated by the Visitor-Reservation System, in terms of the cognition of system, operational effectiveness, and behavioral intention. The analysis is as follows. First, among the overall cognition of the Visitor-Reservation System, the satisfaction from - prevention for safety for accident, expansion to other parks, number of visitor restriction, and satisfaction with reservation method - increased compared to 2014. Second, among the effects of the Visitor-Reservation System operation, satisfaction shows differences in year-to-year levels in terms of resource protection, resource damage mitigation efficiency, natural experience opportunity, comfort of visit-environment, and prevention of illegal activities. Third, the analysis of the differences in the behavior of the Visitor-Reservation System showed that the satisfaction of visitors, revisit intention, and overall satisfaction differed per year. The results of this study are meaningful in that the Visitor-Reservation System is no longer the restriction, but the change in cognition for the protection of ecosystems and sustainable visiting in order to expand the Visitor-Reservation System into a sustainable policy.

A Survey on the Visitor's Cognition of Visitor Reservation System in National Park - The Case Study of Soraksan National Park - (국립공원 탐방예약제 시행에 대한 탐방객 의식 조사 - 설악산국립공원 탐방객을 대상으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to survey and analyze of the visitor's cognition of Visitor-Reservation System in Soraksan National Park. To accomplish the purpose, a questionnaire survey was employed in Soraksan National Park. The contents of questionnaire consist of the socioeconomic characteristics and the types of visiting, the activity, the cognition of Visitor-Reservation System. 166 samples of total 170 respondents were used for final analysis. As a result of the analysis, the socioeconomic characteristics and the type of visiting were showed similar trends with results from other National Park visitor survey Most of respondents recognized the enforcement Visitor-Reservation System and A majority of respondents affirmatively recognized the introduction Visitor-Reservation System. Most of respondents wanted an easy method reservation and cancel in enforcement Visitor-Reservation System. Besides Most of respondents recognized negative conception on regulation(nature-rest system, facility-reservation system etc) of National Park Authority(N.P.A). About expanding enforcement Visitor-Reservation System of National Park's preservation, 'Agree Group' was almost equal with 'Disagree Group'. About more effect operate the Visitor-Reservation System Most of respondents were agree to introduce penalty.

  • The Internet reservation service is one of the most utilized internet services, specifically the agent efficiently supports this reservation services. The Agent will replace the repetitious reservation process and selectively offering the most proper service information. In this study, the user assisting agent system that can enable people to make reservation of public transportations through the internet is designed and implemented. This system consists of multiple agents that are Interface agent, 4ask agents and filtering agent. The interface agent is an arbitrator of this system that analyzes user's demand and integrate agent's result. And it has user-adaptive capability using case-based reasoning. There are three task agents if this system, it executes information gathering and information-change monitoring of each. Filtering agent extracts information only about reservation status in gathered information. Finally, this system is to offer integrated information of the reservation status about train and airplane and execute the simple-repetitious works for the reservation instead of user by agents.

  • Presented in the paper is a reservation based dispatching rule to achieve the on-time delivery in system LSI (large scale integrated circuit) semiconductor fabrication (FAB) with urgent orders. Using the proposed reservation based dispatching rule, urgent lots can be processed without waiting in a queue. It is possible to achieve the on-time delivery of urgent orders by reserving a proper tool for the next step in advance while urgent lots are being processed at the previous step. It can cause, however, tardiness of normal lots, because the proposed rule assign urgent lots first. To solve this problem, the proposed rule tries to find the best tool for the reservation in the tool group, which can minimize idle time, and the reservation rule is applied at all tools except for photolithography tools (bottleneck). $MOZART^{(R)}$ which is developed by VMS solutions are used for simulation experiments. The experimentation results show that the reservation based dispatching rule can achieve the on-time delivery of normal lots as well as urgent lots.

  • A discrete-time priority queueing system with place reservation discipline is studied, in which two different types of packets arrive according to batch geometric streams. It is assumed that there is a reserved place in the queue. Whenever a high-priority packet enters the queue, it will seize the reserved place and make a new reservation at the end of the queue. Low-priority arrivals take place at the end of the queue in the usual way. Using the probability generating function method, the joint distribution of system state and the delay distribution for each type are obtained.

  • Purpose - This study examines various reservation service components that would increase customers' brand attachment and loyalty, while discussing how reservation service components would affect the customer behaviors. Research design, data, and methodology - This study theoretically analyzed the hotel package product reservation system, the customer expectations, the brand attachment, and the brand loyalty, while reviewing previous studies. Results - This study analyzed the distribution channels of the hotel package products from various angles and, as for more extensive research, the study explained the different results caused by each different reservation system type that may be preferred by each individual customer. Conclusions - It was confirmed that, of the hotel reservation service components, the convenience factors, the reliability factors, the information factors, and the other factors other than the human factors, have a significant influence on the customer expectations. Further, the study also revealed that the customer expectation has an important effect on the brand attachment. In addition, the study improved the prevailing understanding on the relation between the brand attachment and the brand loyalty.

  • The purposes of this paper are to find the effects of beauty shop online motivations on the convenience of reservation system, to investigate the convenience of reservation system on satisfaction, and to determine the effects of satisfaction on word-of-mouth behaviors. Based on the results, there are three factors in the motivations: diversion, service-prioritized, and impulse-driven tendencies. Also, there are five factors in the reservation convenience perception: efficiency of decision-making, easy monetary transaction, overall convenience, accessibility, and effortless nature of rewarding system. In terms of the convenience of online booking, the access convenience was found that as the motivation diversion and the service-prioritized motivation higher and as the impulse reservation motivation lower. Furthermore, this paper concludes that offered by online beauty service reservation systems, and higher satisfaction rate leads to higher review behaviours.

Performance Analysis of Joint Call Admission Control(JCAC) According to Resource Reservation Rate Changes in LTE-WLAN Heterogeneous Network Environment (LTE-WLAN 이종 네트워크 환경에서 자원예약률 변화에 따른 통합 호 수락 제어의 성능분석)

  • In this paper, we analyze and propose the Joint Call Admission Control(JCAC) scheme to combine network selection scheme and radio resource reservation based Call Admission Control(CAC) in LTE-WLAN heterogeneous networks. First, We propose the JCAC system that uses network decision rate to select a network for terminal and radio resource reservation scheme in overlaying LTE-WLAN network environment. And we analyze the performance of a proposed system using markov chain model. The performance is presented in terms of the new call blocking probability, handoff call dropping probability, and channel utilization of each network. As a performance result of the our research, the system using JCAC is better than the system using non-JCAC. We found a suitable resource reservation rate that is 10% in the system using JCAC. Our work may be useful as a guideline of resource reservation rate to introduce JCAC system using resource reservation scheme in overlaying LTE-WLAN network environment.
