5 GHz 비면허대역 무선랜과의 상호공존을 위한 LTE 시스템의 채널접속방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Channel Access Mechanism of LTE for Coexistence with Wi-Fi on 5 GHz Unlicensed Spectrum)

  • 무선 트래픽이 급증함에 따라 활용 가능한 주파수 자원을 확보하고, 기존 사용자와 공동으로 주파수를 사용하기 위한 상호공존 기술에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이동통신 무선접속표준을 제정하는 3GPP에서도 면허대역에서 제공되던 이동통신시비스를 5 GHz 비면허대역으로 확장하기 위한 표준기술 개발을 시작하였다. 캐리어 집성기술을 기반으로 면허대역의 보조 캐리어로 5 GHz 대역을 활용하는 시나리오를 가정하고 있으며, 기존 Wi-Fi 시스템과 상호공존할 수 있는 기술개발이 핵심 요구사항으로 정의되었다. 3GPP에서는 각국의 기술기준을 모두 만족할 수 있는 단일 기술개발을 목표로 삼고 있으므로, 현재 유럽 기술기준의 Listen-Before-Talk 기반 Frame based Equipment와 Load based Equipment 채널접속방법을 Wi-Fi와 주파수 자원을 공유하기 위한 기술로 우선 검토하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 두 가지 방식에 대하여 설명하고, 비면허대역 LTE 표준에 적용하는 경우, 구현 및 표준관점에서의 고려할 사항을 정의하고 있다. 또한, 세 가지 동작 시나리오에서 파일전달지연시간과 전송률의 성능지표로 두 방식의 성능을 비교 분석한다.

  • Intense pulsed light(IPL) is a photo-therapeutic medical device using xenon lamps with optical characteristics of incoherence, defocusing, and polychromatic. IPL has been recognized as a representative medical therapeutic device with growth of domestic skin care market. However, there is no standard regulation manual and guideline to evaluate the safety and performance of IPL. International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC) is being statued "Technical Report IEC TR 60825-16" which is a guidelines for the safe use of intense light source equipment on humans and animals. In this study, a standard Korea Food & Drug Administration (KFDA) regulation for the safety and performance of IPL was suggested by developing minimal evaluation methods for optical parameters of IPL such as output energy density, pulse mode, spot size, wavelength and uniformity of output light. We expect that this study may be a step to statue a standard regulation manual and guideline for IPLs used in domestic.

국내·외 구급차 규정, 디자인 및 개선에 관한 조사연구 (An Investigation of the Regulation, Design and Improvement of Domestic and International Ambulances)

  • This research suggests that the regulation, design and improvement of domestic and international ambulances so that make the basis for the future ambulance in Korea. It is true that the diversification of current disasters, increasing elderly population, the increase in emergency patients, due to the lack of effective transfer system, emergency vehicle's performance problem, and the aging of ambulances cause have difficulty in providing effective emergency services in domestic country. Therefore, in order to improve the effectiveness of ambulance, the history of ambulance, other relevant provisions include international, design and directions to be improved were investigated, and also research directions of the ambulance are suggested in domestic country. In this research, suggests the following conclusions to improve domestic ambulance 1. Through standardization of the spacing and location of an ambulance is needed to maximize the treatment room. 2. The interior of the ambulance design for hygiene and infection control should be included. 3. Stretcher and equipment are designed to be fitted to each other should be standardized. 4. Especially during transfer maintain the road, noise, vibration, and shock-absorbing function to emphasize the importance. 5. The improvement of ergonomic design is necessary for the possibility of applying to many people.

저소음형 송기마스크 개발 (Development of a Low Noisy Type of Air-line Mask)

  • Air-line mask is an important personal protective equipment for workers working under hazardous surroundings in which a fixed ventilation system is difficult to be installed. If the air-line mask make loud noise, works wearing the mask may be faced with health problems such as noise induced hearing loss(NIHL). The purpose of this study is to introduce a low noisy technology for workers using air-line mask. A traditional type air-line has been improved to an advanced air-line mask with lesser noise. In the mask, air suppling conduits consists of multi tubes are placed inside of the front of the safety helmet. The noise level reduced from 80dB(A) to less than 80dB(A) when measured by KS A 0701 method at Center for Safety Inspection, Testing and Certification for KOSHA. It is suitable for related regulation[Article 35 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act(Test of Personal Protective Equipment)]. While workers working in noise level of over 90dB(A), they may expose to 82dB(A) or less when they wear the advanced masks. This type masks can be an alternative for works suffering from loud noise generated by traditional air-line masks.

유해·위험작업의 취업제한에 관한 규칙 및 특별안전보건교육 대상작업의 사망재해 분석에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Death Accidents of Hazardous and Dangerous Works defined in Regulation for Employment Restriction and Special Education for Safety and Health)

  • With the changes of industrial structure, contents and types in hazardous and dangerous works have been changed considerably. However, the hazardous and dangerous works by defined "Regulation for the hazardous and dangerous work employment restriction" and "Special education for safety and health"have not been amended over twenty years. This study aimed to identify the recent trends of the works by analyzing the death accidents cases from 2004 to 2013 and to present the management methods about future hazardous and dangerous works. The results showed that amount of 1,972 cases among 11,513 death accidents were equivalent to the works presented by "Regulation for the hazardous and dangerous work employment restriction". The amount of death accidents in 'Work of using construction equipment following construction machinery management act' was biggest among the death accidents cases and that of 'Work of handling pressure vessels following high-pressure gas safety control act' didn't show up. For the works in "Special education for safety and health"amount of 1,650 death accidents cases were equivalent. The amount of death accidents in 'Work involving a crane with a capacity of 1 ton or more or work which is carried out with a crane or hoist with a capacity of less than 1 ton in a workplace having at least 5 such machines' presented by "Special education for safety and health"was biggest. Also, death accidents case didn't occurred in three works presented by "Special education for safety and health". It was analyzed that works with low death accidents cases should be needed to study thoroughly the whole disaster research involving nonfatal accidents.   • This research analyzes clean room major fire prevention standard of clean Room (FM, IRI, and NFPA Code), the structure of Performance-Based Fire Safety Design (PBD) applied the korean fire industry situation. Performance-Based Fire Safety can operate effectively the performance of fire protection equipment & building design, so the fitness of fire safety system can be embodied by operating this. moreover, cost to be consume fire safety of real building can reduce and Performance-Based Fire Safety is considered to important technique in fire protection field. A fire in a clean room may cause a serious loss by spreading smoke particles. We will be investigated by using a computational fluid dynamics, for loss prevention by smoke spreading from one fire area to another for clean room and compared the Performance-Based Fire Safety Design with the prescriptive code design. The methodology of fire safety performance-based fire safety design and guarantee of many kinds design skill of fire system and developing design procedure will be very serious one in order to improve efficiency of domestic system. Therefore, This research will be contributing to secure safety of clean room and to set up the performance-based fire safety design in Korea by regulation for the performance-based fire safety design effectively.

Valve core shapes analysis on flux through control valves in nuclear power plants

  • Control valves are widely used to regulate fluid flux in nuclear power plants, and there are more than 1500 control valves in the primary circuit of one nuclear power plant. With their help, the flux can be regulated to a specific level of water or steam to guarantee the energy efficiency and safety of the nuclear power plant. The flux characteristics of the control valve mainly depend on the valve core shape. In order to analyze the effects of valve core shapes on flux characteristics of control valves, this paper focuses on the valve core shapes. To begin with, numerical models of different valve core shapes are established, and results are compared with the ideal flux characteristics curve for the purpose of validation. Meanwhile, the flow fields corresponding to different valve core shapes are investigated. Moreover, relationships between the valve core opening and the outlet flux under different valve core shapes are carried out. The flux characteristics curve and equation are proposed to predict the outlet flux under different valve core openings. This work can benefit the further research of the flux control and the optimization of the valve core for control valves in nuclear power plants.

  • 문화재 안전관리는 아직 그 개념이 분명하게 정립되지 못하였고, 문화재 안전관리의 범위와 종류 등에 관해서도 체계적인 정리가 이루어지지 못한 상태에 있다. 현장 관리 측면에서도 다양한 위험요인으로부터 문화재의 안전을 확보할 수 있는 시스템이 구축되지 못하여 위험이 상존하고 있다. 구체적으로는 제도적으로 문화재 안전관리에 관한 법률 등 규정이 극히 제한적인 수준에 머물러 있고, 시설적으로는 소방설비 등 안전설비의 설치 운용에 적정성이 확보되지 못하고 있으며, 주변 환경 면에서도 문화재 안전 확보에 필요한 조치가 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 목조문화재를 중심으로 안전관리상의 문제점과 한계를 극복하기 위해 문화재 안전관리의 개념과 종류, 범위 등을 설정하였다. 그리고 문화재 안전관리 수준을 한 단계 높이기 위해 현장에서 안전관리를 담당하는 안전경비인력과 일선 소방공무원들의 의식을 다각적으로 조사 분석하여 목조문화재 안전관리 강화 방향을 제시하였다.

  • This paper describes the first field demonstration of the distribution STATCON in Korea including installation and its evaluation for improving power quality in distribution system. The purpose of installation is to verify functionally the voltage source inverter based equipment for voltage regulation and harmonic mitigation in distribution line. The operational data resulting from field test and the site figure are included.
