Background: Intersectoral and multidisciplinary collaboration is becoming more prominent in all facets of government, health, social services, and scientific endeavors. An interplay of a multitude of driving forces moves multiple disciplines forward to achieve quality outcomes in health and social sciences services and research. Aim: This paper aims at discussing the prospects for future multidisciplinary collaboration. If inter organizational integration and multidisciplinary collaboration are the ways of the future in academia and the scientific world, it then becomes crucial to examine what lies ahead for the nursing profession, Discussion: This paper argues that in order for multidisciplinary endeavors to succeed, the leaders in multidisciplinary teams shoulder the largest share of the responsibilities involved. In developing a lasting team constituting professionals from different disciplines, the leader needs to include the right individuals in the team, identify a common goal, build trusting relationships through open communication and interprofessional education, and empower members through creating room for autonomy and at the same time allowing space for personal development. The leader will need to utilize information technologies to manage communication issues in a large multi-site multidisciplinary project. Lastly, he or she must be able to demonstrate team productivity through process and outcome evaluation. It needs to be emphasized that it falls to each individual nurse to speak up and act upon what nursing believes and represents in our quest for success in multidisciplinary endeavors. Conclusion: The significance of the role of the leader is paramount for a team to succeed. Yet there is no prospect if only a handful of exceptional nurse leaders are moving ahead in multidisciplinary endeavors. Without the actualization of professional roles by each individual nurse, the profession will have no prospect in collaborations across disciplines.

기업 간 제휴 활동과 관련된 많은 연구 성과에도 불구하고 경쟁 기업보다 우월한 제휴 관계를 형성하기 위한 구체적 역량과 이러한 역량이 기업의 반응과 제휴 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구는 경쟁기업보다 우월한 제휴 성과를 달성할 수 있는 기업의 역량을 제휴 지향성(alliance orientation)으로 정의하고 제휴 관련 기업을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 제휴 창의성과 제휴 관계 성과와의 관계를 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 시사점을 제공해 준다. 첫째, 제휴 지향성을 통해 형성할 수 있는 제휴 창의성은 참신적 제휴 창의성에 한정된다는 것이다. 둘째, 제휴 지향성과 제휴 성과와의 관계에 있어 제휴 창의성의 매개적 역할은 제휴 성과 촉진을 위한 제휴 창의성의 역할 강조를 의미한다고 할 수 있다. 셋째, 제휴 지향성과 기업 성과와의 관계에 있어 제휴 관계 성과의 매개적 역할을 확인하였다는 것이다. 넷째, 제휴지향성이 기업 성과에 미치는 영향의 실질적 검증을 통해 기업 내부에서 보다 우월한 제휴 성과를 성취하기 위한 내부적 역량 강화에 대한 지침을 제공할 수 있다는 것이다. 연구 결과를 통해 성공적인 제휴 성과를 획득하기 위한 기업의 내부 역량으로서의 제휴 지향성과 제휴 창의성 그리고 제휴 관계 성과의 역할을 파악할 수 있었다.

Purpose: The significance of the healthcare industry has grown exponentially in recent years due to the impact of the fourth industrial revolution and the ongoing pandemic. Accordingly, this study aimed to examine domestic healthcare-related patents comprehensively. Big data analysis was used to present the trend and status of patents filed in nursing. Methods: The descriptive review was conducted based on Grant and Booth's descriptive review framework. Patents related to nursing was searched in the Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service between January 2016 to December 2020. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, phi-coefficient for correlations, and network analysis using the R program (version 4.2.2). Results: Among 37,824 patents initially searched, 1,574 were selected based on the inclusion criteria. Nursing-related patents did not specify subjects, and many patents (41.4%) were related to treatment in the healthcare delivery phase. Furthermore, most patents (56.1%) were designed to increase effectiveness. The words frequently used in the titles of nursing-related patents were, in order, "artificial intelligence," "health management," and "medical information," and the main terms with high connection centrality were "artificial intelligence" and "therapeutic system." Conclusion: The industrialization of nursing is the best solution for developing the healthcare industry and national health promotion. Collaborations in education, research, and policy will help the nursing industry become a healthcare industry of the future. This will prime the enhancement of the national economy and public health.

The National Institute of Meteorological Sciences in Korea has developed the Weather Modification Hybrid Rocket (WMHR), an advanced system that offers enhanced stability and cost-effectiveness over conventional solid-fuel rockets. Designed for precise operation, the WMHR enables accurate control over the ejection altitude of pyrotechnics by modulating the quantity of oxidizer, facilitating specific cloud seeding at various atmospheric layers. Furthermore, the rate of descent for pyrotechnic devices can be adjusted by modifying parachute sizes, allowing for controlled dispersion time and concentration of seeding agents. The rocket's configuration also supports adjustments in the pyrotechnic device's capacity, permitting tailored seeding agent deployment. This innovation reflects significant technical progression and collaborations with local manufacturers, in addition to efforts to secure testing sites and address hybrid rocket production challenges. Notable outcomes of this project include the creation of a national framework for weather modification technology utilizing hybrid rockets, enhanced cloud seeding methods, and the potential for broader meteorological application of hybrid rockets beyond precipitation augmentation. An illustrative case study confirmed the WMHR's operational effectiveness, although the impact on cloud seeding was limited by unfavorable weather conditions. This experience has provided valuable insights and affirmed the system's potential for varied uses, such as weather modification and deploying high-altitude meteorological sensors. Nevertheless, the expansion of civilian weather rocket experiments in Korea faces challenges due to inadequate infrastructure and regulatory limitations, underscoring the urgent need for advancements in these areas.

Objectives : Practice-Based Research Networks (PBRNs), collaborations of practitioners and academic researchers, have provided platforms for conducting research to address clinical questions generated from daily routine care. This review aimed to critically analyse articles from PBRNs that are related to complementary and integrative medicine (CIM) and to suggest future directions for a PBRN which is appropriate for Korean Medicine (KM). Methods : PubMed, PBRN registries in Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and relevant PBRN websites were searched up to November 2019 for research articles from PBRNs that focused on CIM regardless of study design. Methodological quality of the included studies was assessed. The included studies were read in full, classified and summarised according to their topics. Results : A total of 51 articles published from 1998 through 2020 were included in this review. They were categorised into three principal themes based on research questions and findings: health services research (embracing researches examining characteristics of patients and CIM practitioners/practices, and communication between patients and practitioners); effectiveness and safety of CIM practices/interventions; and feasibility studies of instruments and interventions in PBRN settings. The study designs varied including surveys (n=30), prospective observational studies (n=6), 2ndary analyses of existing studies (n=7), protocols (n=7), retrospective chart review (n=1) and qualitative study (n=1). Quality of the included studies greatly varied. Conclusions : PBRNs can serve as a feasible platform for conducting practice-relevant research on KM and CIM. Considering growing demands on evidence-base for routine practice of KM amid various stakeholders, a PBRN in KM community and further researches nested within PBRN designs are warranted.

계량정보학자들이 학술논문을 통해 과학 연구 동향을 분석하기 시작한 이후 계량서지학, 과학계량학, 계량정보학, 웹계량학, 인용분석 등은 정보학의 주요 분야로 성장하였다. 계량정보학의 최근 동향을 분석하기 위하여 이 연구에서는 계량정보학 연구출판물을 기반으로 하여 이 분야 연구 발전에 기여한 국가, 기관, 논문을 파악하고자 네트워크 분석을 수행하였다. 데이터 수집을 위해서는 SCI 데이터베이스를 이용하였으며 2001년부터 2011년까지 출판된 논문을 대상으로 하였다. 분석기법으로 Pathfinder 네트워크 분석과 PNNC기법을 사용하고, 협력관계와 연구영향도를 측정하기 위한 지표로 PageRank와 h-index 기반의 지표들을 사용하였다. 협력연구네트워크에서 주요한 역할을 하는 국가는 미국과 영국인 것으로 조사되었으며 기관으로는 유럽의 암스테르담 대학과 루벤 카톨릭대학 그리고 미국의 인디아나 대학과 해군연구개발국이 기여를 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 개인 논문 수준에서는 PageRank와 single paper h-index 척도로 분석한 결과 Hirsch의 h-index 논문과 Ingwersen의 웹 영향력 지수 논문이 가장 영향력 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

Zoonoses represent a public health risk recently pointed out by the spreading of previously unknown human infectious diseases emerging from animal reservoirs such as severe acute respiratory syndrome and avian influenza caused by H5N1-virus. These outbreaks have shown that animal breeding activities can pose a significant public health risk. Until now, the risk of zoonoses has probably been underestimated, particularly in occupational settings. The emergence or re-emergence of bacterial (Mycobacterium bovis and Brucella spp) or viral (hepatitis E virus) infections shows that zoonoses should be considered as emerging risks in agricultural and animal breeding and should be addressed by specific preventive interventions. Close cooperation and interaction between veterinarians, occupational health physicians and public health operators is necessary, for a worldwide strategy to expand interdisciplinary collaborations and communications in all aspects of health care for humans, animals and the environment. This is what the One Health Approach was intended to be.

4차 산업혁명으로 대변되는 기술과 산업의 패러다임 변화에 따라 기업의 R&D가 미래 성장 동력원의 핵심 역량으로 진화하고 있다. 이에, 기술전략수립 체계의 효과적 운영을 위한 기술경영에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있으며, 관련분야를 중심으로 유기적 관계 형성의 중요성 또한 증가하고 있다. 이러한 유기적 관계형성을 통한 기업과 대학간 상생을 위하여 대학에서는 가족회사제도를 운영하고 있으며, 이를 통해 기업과 대학간 인적 물적 자원을 체계적으로 공유하는 맞춤형 산 학협력체제를 구축하고 있다. 특히, 기술경영분야는 기업의 가치지향적 기술전략 수립을 위해 가족회사제도의 효과적이고 효율적인 운영이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 부경대학교 기술경영전문대학원에서 운영중인 가족회사제도의 운영현황을 분석한다. 그리고, 동남권 기업들의 기술경영 혁신 역량 확보를 위한 가족회사제도 활성화 방안을 제시한다.

최근 팀 프로젝트에서 모바일 커뮤니케이션 서비스(MCS: mobile communication services)를 활용한 협업이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 MCS를 활용한 협업이 팀 프로젝트 성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 조직 측면에서 팀 몰입과 팀 신뢰가 팀 프로젝트 성과 형성에 핵심적인 역할을 담당할 것으로 예상하였으며, MCS 유용성의 영향에 대해서도 살펴보았다. MCS 유용성을 형성하는 주요 특성으로 유비쿼티, 복합적 사용, 사용 용이성을 고려하였다. 팀 프로젝트 수행 시 IT 서비스를 자주 활용하는 116명의 대학생들을 대상으로 연구 모형을 검증하였으며, PLS를 활용하였다. 연구 모형 분석 결과, 팀 신뢰는 팀 몰입과 팀 프로젝트 성과에 긍정적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 하지만, MCS 유용성은 팀 몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았고, 팀 프로젝트 성과에만 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. MCS 특성 가운데 사용 용이성만 MCS 유용성 형성에 도움을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 유비퀴티와 복합 사용성은 MCS 유용성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다.

이 연구는 공학과 젠더에 관한 이론적, 경험적 연구이자 여학생 공학교육 선도대학 (WIE) 사업의 발전 방향을 다루는 정책 연구의 성격을 갖는다. 우리나라의 WIE 사업은 성인지 공학교육 시스템, 여학생의 현장 적응력 향상, 산학협력 프로그램의 도입을 통해 우수한 여성 엔지니어의 양성을 촉진하려는 목적을 갖는다. 이 연구는 WIE 사업이 공학교육에서 갖는 의미를 분석하기 위해 젠더 연구들을 검토하였다. 공학 분야 여성을 발전시키는데 있어서 교육적, 제도적 공평성을 확보하는 것만으로는 충분하지 않다. 무엇보다 여성의 경력 개발을 좌절시키는 상황에 주목해야 한다. 대학교육에서는 공과대학 교수진이 젠더 공평성에 대한 인식을 향상시킬 필요가 있다. 여성 엔지니어의 전문가 정체성 확립, 남녀가 함께 참여하는 프로그램 개발, 그리고 여성 네트워크 발전 등이 WIE 사업을 성공적으로 수행하는데 있어서 매우 중요한 요소이다. 향후 WIE 사업에 대한 지속적 지원과 대학 단위의 프로그램 확대 등이 정책적 과제로 논의되었다.
