Purpose - This paper aims at analyzing the functions and effectiveness of the cooperation agenda in Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), focusing on the cases of Asian countries. This paper estimates the contribution of this agenda to the sustainable development in Asia by providing the 'side payment' of the economic integration that encourages foreign investment and change in global value chains (GVC). Design/methodology - This study analyzes the functions of the cooperation chapter in FTAs by applying the cooperative game theory and reviewing the structures of the related FTAs. Also, as an empirical study, the existing FTA provisions and related development assistant programs in Asia are reviewed in this paper, especially focusing on the FTAs signed by Korea. Findings - Our main findings can be summarized as follows: The drawback of the economic integration, which would be the imbalanced economic benefit, can be redressed by the cooperation chapter in FTAs functioning as a 'side payment'. Indeed, as the examples of Korean FTAs show, more foreign investment and the GVC expansion in Asian countries have been encouraged thanks to the implementation of the cooperation chapters. Originality/value - This paper attempts to find how a legally binding agreement would influence the cooperation agenda in Asia which has never been analyzed despite the increasing number of so-called 'cooperation' chapters in the FTAs.

본 연구는 기존 국립세종도서관 정책정보포털(POINT)의 국정과제 서비스를 뛰어넘는 고품질 정책정보서비스 제공을 위하여, 새로운 국정과제 이행에 필요한 정책자료를 효과적으로 서비스할 수 있는 모형을 개발하고자 한다. 이에 개별 접근을 통한 데이터 검색 대신 통합된 검색 환경을 제공하는 것이 필요하며, 이를 위한 국정과제서비스 모형 구축을 4가지 모형으로 제안하였다. 첫째, 국정과제서비스 시스템 운영 부문으로 인터페이스 측면, 전산 시스템 구상, 전자정보원 측면, 전산 시스템 구상을 제안하였다. 둘째, 국정과제서비스 정보원 부문으로 Linked Open Data 시스템 구상, 정책정보 시계열 서비스 시스템 구상, 국외 원문자료 번역서비스, 연구자 희망자료 확충을 제시하였다. 셋째, 국정과제서비스 홍보 부문으로 정책 이용자를 위한 홍보 강화, 사이트 브랜드 구축 및 홍보, SNS 채널 운영, 보조자료 활성화 강화, 외부 서비스에서의 접근성 강화를 제안하였다. 넷째, 국정과제서비스 협업 및 연계 부문으로 Open API, 클라우드 서비스, 해외도서관과의 정보 네트워크 확장을 제안하였다.

Making Inclusive Cities is a new urban agenda for better future cities. Inclusive cities should be conceptualized from multidimensional viewpoints including various academic disciplines beyond a single discipline such as urban planning/design and urban engineering which are primary disciplines to have handled urban challenges. The aim of this research is to propose diverse approaches to examine the concept of the inclusive city. This study examines the inclusive city from the lens of co-evolution, social exclusion, inclusiveness, and amenity, looking forward to more academic attempts to investigate this worldwide urban agenda.

야후 앤서(Yahoo! Answers)와 네이버 지식인과 같은 지식검색 커뮤니티는 인터넷에서 정보를 찾고 공유하는 중요한 수단으로 부상하였다. 그러나 지식검색 커뮤니티의 인기가 날로 높아지는 것과 비례하여 정보자원으로서의 유효성에 대한 우려 또한 커지고 있는 것이 주지의 사실이다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 논문은 지식검색 커뮤니티와 관련된 신뢰성 문제에 대한 선행 연구들을 정리하고 향후 연구 과제를 제시함으로써 지식검색 커뮤니티 신뢰성에 관한 연구를 활성화시키는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

Everyone has a voice and can broadcast it to the world. We hear about the old maxim of media do not tell people what to think but what to think about. Under this theory or approach, a key function of political communication is to make the public think about an issue in a way that is favorable to the sender of the message. In a democracy, political communication is seen as crucial for the building of a society where the state and its people feel they are connected. Thus, this is a study on how social media (e.g., Facebook, blogs, and YouTube) were used in the domain of Malaysian politics during the 13th general election campaigning period in order to set the agenda to form public opinion. The study found that Facebook was the most popular social media tool that political parties actively engaged with during the 13th general election campaign period. Apart from that, issues pertaining to the election were significantly highlighted by the political parties in social media, especially Facebook. However, other issues that were also important to the people such as the economy, crime, and education were not sufficiently highlighted during the election campaign period. This indicates that the political parties influence the public on what to think about using social media.

본 논문은 '환경관련 텔레비전 뉴스에서 영상과 자막이 수용자의 의제설정에 영향을 미치는지', 그리고 '텔레비전 수용자의 환경관여도에 따라 영상과 자막이 수용자의 환경 중요성 인식에 미치는 영향에 차이가 있는지' 의제설정효과와 정교화 가능성 모델(ELM)을 이론적 배경으로 살펴본 실험연구이다. 연구결과 환경이슈에 노출된 수용자는 노출빈도가 높을수록 환경을 더 중요하게 생각하며, 그 과정에서 텔레비전의 시각적 요소인 영상과 자막이 수용자들의 환경인식에 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 영상과 자막이 환경이슈에 관심이 많은 수용자보다 관심이 적은 수용자들에게 통합적 주변단서로써, 환경 인식에 더 큰 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 영상과 자막이 개별적인 주변단서로써 관여도가 낮은 수용자들에게 더 큰 영향을 미치는 현상은 통계적으로 유의미하게 지지되지 못했다. 그동안 텔레비전 뉴스의 수용자 효과 연구들은 대부분 언어텍스트를 중심으로 이루어짐으로써, 시각적 요소가 수용자에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구는 극히 제한적으로 이루어져왔다. 따라서 본 연구는 최근 미국에서 확산되고 있는 '영상의제설정'이라는 새로운 연구분야의 초기 실험연구로써, 미디어 효과 연구 영역에서 중요한 함의를 가질 수 있을 것이다.

국제해사기구(IMO)에서 검토되는 의제들은 갈수록 다양해지고 있으면, 내용도 목적기반선박건조기준(GBS), 선체보호도료의 성능기준개발(PSPC), 선박장거리위치추적제도(LRIT) 등 세부적인 사항까지도 국제적인 표준화를 도모하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 IMO 각 위원회의 최근 동향을 살펴보고 이에 대한 한국의 대응 및 활동현황을 조사 분석해 본 결과, A그룹 이사국 지위에 맞는 역할 수행이 아직 미흡하고 정부의 IMO 대응능력을 지속적으로 뒷받침 할 연구지원 인프라가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 한국은 국가차원에서 국제해사동향에 정책적으로 접근할 필요성을 절실히 인지하여야 하며, 국제해사정책을 주도할 수 있는 국내외 인프라 완비가 필요하다고 판단된다.

Co-creation is a new business strategy that creates "mutual value" for both the firm and the consumer through active collaboration among stakeholders. This includes a broader range of participants compared to the traditional environment. Co-creation is currently being applied to a wide range of fields such as marketing, manufacturing, governance, and other disciplines. With a growing interest in co-creation, it is vital to establish a clearly define concept of what co-creation is and what it encompasses. Therefore, the goal of this study is to define the concept of co-creation, to discover current research trends within this area, and to suggest a future research agenda. For this study extensive literature review on co-creation was carried out, adding this paper to the body of co-creation research as a pioneer study.
