로컬 경로 계획을 위한 포텐셜 함수 기반의 가상 탈출 루트 연구 (Escaping Route Method in a Trap Situation for Local Path Planning)

  • This paper presents an escaping route method in a trap situation (a case that the robot is trapped in a local minimum by the potential of obstacles). In this scheme, the APFs for path planning have a multiplicative and auditive configuration between APFs for goal destination and APFs for obstacle avoidance unlike conventional configuration where APFs for obstacle avoidance is added to APFs for goal destination. The virtual escaping route method is proposed to allow a robot to escape from a local minimum in trap situation where the total forces composed of repulsive forces by obstacles and attractive force by a goal are zero.

전기 수력학적 방법을 이용한 미세 입자의 하전 특성에 관한연구 (Study on the Fine Particle Charging Characteristics with the Electrohydrodynamic Atomization)

  • A well defined electro-spraying and electro-static precipitator(ESP) experiment is carried out to investigate the charging characteristics of the submicron particles and the monodisperse particles. The basic idea is that the highly charged electro-sprayed droplets will be produced into the gas when the Coulombic repulsive force on the surface is higher than the surface tension of the spraying liquid. During this process many highly charged smaller droplets or ions, if the droplets are completely dried out, will be produced in the space. These charged species will be attached ion the particles and then eventually charge the particles. These charged particles will be easily collected with ESP. The experimental results show that the atomizer generated particles with geometric mean diameter (GMD) of 62nm are charged more than 90% even at the mean face velocity of 2.5m/s at the charging zone.

  • The notable feature of the Cu(II) coordination polymer investigated here is its ability to self-assemble into a double-stranded helical structure with regular grooves along the helical axis, through the combination of metal-chloride dimeric interactions and repulsive interactions, as an organizing force. It is also remarkable that the double-stranded helices self-organize into a 2-D columnar structure in both the bulk state and aqueous solution. These results represent a unique example that weak metal-ligand bridging interactions can provide a useful strategy to construct stable double-stranded helical nanotubes.

  • Synthesis of silver nanoparticles by the supersonic nozzle expansion method with corona discharge ions was investigated. Corona discharge ions functioned as seeds for heterogeneous nucleation in the silver nanoparticles formation process and provided silver nanoparticles with electronic repulsive force that prevents aggregation of the particles. For ion ejecting, we used sonic-jet corona discharger. Upon application of the corona discharge ions, the mean diameter of the produced particles was decreased from 12.54 to 6.22nm and the standard deviation was decreased from 5.02 to 3.34nm. In addition, the agglomeration of silver nanoparticles was reduced.

On navigation strategy of multiple autonomous mobile robots in a specified domain

  • This paper proposes a navigation strategy of multiple autonomous mobile robots with communication within a specified space. Assuming that each robot has complete detectability with finite range, simple navigation strategy is derived by introducing repulsive forces between robots and attractive force between a robot and its goal point analogous to those between electric charges. When a robot is close to its goal point, a pseudo-domain based on the distance between the closest point of the domain boundary and the goal point is proposed to enhance its convergence to the goal state. This paper concludes with the results of computer simulation studies on the dynamic behavior of multiple interacting robots with the proposed navigation strategy.

  • Suspension effect has been studied by using superconductor of BiPbSrCaCuO ceramics containing $Ag_2O$. It has been c1eared that $Ag_2O$ acts as pinning center which plays an important role to the suspension effect. Magnetic repulsive force which affects a superconductor located in magnetic flux from toroidal magnet has been investigated. It has been concluded that the suspension effect arises from the interaction between the pinning effect and the diamagnetic effect.

  • We fabricated a high Tc superconducting motor named the "Meissner Motor" using Y system high Tc superconductors, which rotates with the repulsive force caused by the Meissner effect. And, we derived the optimal rotating conditions and parameters from the examination of its chracteristics. Finally the possibility of a high Tc superconducting rotor has been investigated.

  • Magnetic suspension effect has been studied by using superconductor of BiPbSrCaCuO ceramics containing Ag$_2$O. Magnetic flux measurements of a toroidal magnet revealed a concave shaped field distribution with a null field along the axis of the torus at the point where the field reversed. The suspension effect was observed only for the Ag$_2$O doped and field cooled sample which is attributed to the enhanced flux pinning due to the field cooled condition. It has been cleared that Ag$_2$O acts as pinning center which plays an important role to the magnetic suspension effect. Magnetic repulsive force which affects a superconductor located in magnetic flux from toroidal magnet has been investigated. It has been concluded that the magnetic suspension effect arises from the interaction between the pinning effect and the diamagnetic effect.

무선 센서 네트워크 환경에서 반발력 기반 고-신뢰 데이터 라우팅 기법 (A Repulsive Force based High-Reliable Data Routing Scheme in Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • 무선 센서 네트워크를 이용한 응용에서는 데이터 저장 및 처리 기술, 데이터 전송 기술 등과 같은 다양한 기반 기술들이 요구된다. 특히 응용을 실제 환경에 적용하기 위해서는 데이터 보안 기술은 필수적이다. 본 논문은 여러 해킹 기술 중 하나인 스니핑(Sniffing) 공격으로부터 원천적인 방어를 위해 데이터 전송 경로를 위험 요소로부터 물리적으로 회피시키기 위한 라우팅 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 크기와 방향 정보를 가지는 반발력 이라는 개념을 기반으로 위험 요소의 인근에 위치한 센서 노드들에게 반발력 정보를 설정한다. 데이터 라우팅 과정에서 반발력이 설정된 노드를 지나갈 경우 해당 정보를 이용하여 안전한 경로로 우회 라우팅을 수행한다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 기법의 효과를 보이기 위해 시뮬레이션을 통한 동작 모습을 보인다.

  • 일반적으로 컴퓨터를 이용한 수치 해석에는 격자 수치 해석 방법인 유한요소법 또는 유한차분법이 주로 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 이러한 방법들은 해석하고자 하는 영역을 요소나 격자 등으로 분할해야 하기 때문에 복잡한 현상들을 다루는 데 어려움을 갖게 된다. 이를 극복하기 위해 개발된 방법이 무요소법(Meshfree Method)이며 본 논문에서는 다양한 무요소법들 중 SPH(Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics)가 고려되어진다. SPH는 라그랑지안 수치 근사 기법을 사용하는 입자법(Particle Method)으로 SPH를 정확하게 실행하기 위해서는 적절한 경계 처리법이 요구된다. 그러나 기존의 경계 처리법은 유체 입자의 침투현상 및 커널(Kernel) 끊김 현상이 발생하기 때문에 적합하지 않다. 따라서 지금까지 SPH의 경계 처리법을 향상시키기 위해 다양한 접근법들이 제안되었으며 본 논문에서는 이러한 접근법들 중 정반사(Specular Reflection), 재회복(Bounce-back), 재도입(Reintroduce) 방법 및 경계 반발력(Repulsive Force)과 가상 입자(Ghost Particle)의 적용이 분석되고 현상 접목을 통해 적절한 경계 처리법이 제안되어진다.
