표본조사에서 이용하는 모수 추론 방법인 설계기반추론과 모형기반추론을 고찰하였다. 설계기반추론은 확률화 원리에 기초를 두고 있는 반면 모형기반추론은 가정한 모형에서 조건부 원리와 우도 원리에 바탕을 두고 있다. 두 추론은 서로 다른 이론적 근거를 사용하기 때문에 이론적 기초에 관한 논쟁이 오래 전부터 있어 왔으며 지금도 진행되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 두 추론 사이에 진행되었던 논쟁의 초점을 살펴보았고 몇 가지 관점에서 두 추론의 장단점을 비교하였다.

The historico-genetic principle has been advocated continuously, as an alternative one to the traditional deductive method of teaching and learning mathematics, by Clairaut, Cajori, Smith, Klein, Poincar$\'{e}$, La Cour, Branford, Toeplitz, etc. since 18C. And recently we could find various studies in relation to the historico-genetic principle. Lakatos', Freudenthal's, and Brousseau's are representative in them. But they are different from the previous historico- genetic principle in many aspects. In this study, the previous historico- genetic principle is called as classical historico- genetic principle and the other one as modern historico-genetic principle. This study shows that the differences between them arise from the historical views of mathematics and the development of the theories of mathematics education. Dewey thinks that education is a constant reconstruction of experience. This study shows the historico-genetic principle could us embody the Dewey's psycological method. Bruner's discipline-centered curriculum based on Piaget's genetic epistemology insists on teaching mathematics in the reverse order of historical genesis. This study shows the real understaning the structure of knowledge could not neglect the connection with histogenesis of them. This study shows the historico-genetic principle could help us realize Bruner's point of view on the teaching of the structure of mathematical knowledge. In this study, on the basis of the examination of the development of the historico-genetic principle, we try to stipulate the principle more clearly, and we also try to present teaching unit for the logarithm according to the historico- genetic principle.

In the organizing principle of Hwaeomsa temple, we could see the procedure of absorption and combination on folk beliefs and Buddhism like other temples. One of Representative folk beliefs took in and combined in its temple is Sam-Sung-Gak, which is located at the same place with Won-Tong-Geon. And Myong-Bu-Geon is affected by the Ten-Kings belief of Taoism very deeply, is also very rare folk belief case grown naturally. The diversification of Buddhist sanctum' function is absorption and combination between proper belief for the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy and folk native beliefs.

The creative fashion design is the technique which ran be obtained through the structural analysis of the relationship between principle, element-combination and idea-expression. In the research, as the results of theoretical survey of design structure and idea-expression, the structural and subjective designs are classified and defined: a. the structural design is analyzed with the existing examples based on the combinational Idea-expression of the O.C.L method, and b. the subjective design is also analyzed connecting the real examples to Cordon method, Synetic method, Association method, and expansive idea-expression-method obtained by the Experiences of Geometrical Combinations. The research can be summarized as follows: 1. The creative fashion design which emphasizes the geometrical structure utilizes the modification method whirh combines the shapes and constructs extraordinary structural beauty coming from the complex structural principle, that is, emphasis and balance. 2. The creative fashion design which emphasizes specific subjects utilizes the modification method which mimics representative and plastic resemblances and constructs symbolic structural beauty coming from the simple structural principle, that is, material elements.

FRBR을 대체한 개념모델인 LRM 개발에 따라 목록원칙, 목록규칙, 입력형식 측면에서 LRM 수용 방안이 모색되어야 한다. 이에 본고는 BIBFRAME 측면에서 LRM의 표현형 및 대표표현형 속성 적용시 고려사항을 파악하기 위해 문헌연구와 전문가 면담을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 우선, BIBFRAME에는 표현형 개체가 없지만 BIBFRAME 저작에서 LRM의 저작과 표현형을 수용하는데, 이는 저작과 표현형을 각각 저작으로 보고 두 저작을 상호 연계하는 방식으로 표현형 개념을 유지하고 있다. 둘째, BIBFRAME에서는 대표표현형 속성과 이를 제공한 소스가 된 표현형을 연계하는 것을 고려해야 할 것이다. 셋째, LRM에서 저작 유형에 따라 대표표현형 속성의 내용이 달라지므로 BIBFRAME에서 대표표현형 속성으로 사용될 수 있는 언어, 연주매체, 대상이용자, 축척 등의 속성에 대한 클래스 변경을 고려해야 한다. 넷째, BIBFRAME에는 저작을 중심으로 다양한 표현형 간의 네트워크가 생성될 수 있도록 관계의 확장이 요구된다. 본고는 LRM과 BIBFRAME을 표현형 및 대표표현형 속성에 중심을 두어 비교 분석하였으나 앞으로 LRM에 따른 목록원칙 및 목록규칙과의 비교 연구도 필요할 것이다.

This paper proposes an algorithm that can reduce the estimation error of surface spectral-reflectance(SR) when using a conventional 3-band RGB camera. In the proposed method, the estimation error is reduced by using adaptive principle components (PCs) for each color region. To build an adaptive set of PCs, n SR populations are organized for n PC sets using the Lloyd quantizer design algorithm. The Macbeth Color Checker is utilized for the initial representative SR values for 1485 Munsell color chips as the total color population, then the Munsell chips arc divided into subsets with a set of corresponding adaptive PCs organized for each subset.

Spectral element method (SEM) is introduced for the fully coupled structural dynamic problems, In this paper, the beam with passive constrained layered damping (PCLD) treatments is considered as a representative problems. The beam consists of a viscoelastic layer that is sandwiched between the base beam structure and an elastic layer, The fully coupled equations of motion for a PCLD beam are derived, The equations of motion are derived first by using Hamilton's principle, From this equations of motion, the spectral element is formulated for the vibration analysis by use of the SEM, As an illustrative example, a cantilevered beam is considered. It is shown that, as the thickness of VEM layer vanishes, the results become a simple layer beam's that.

The production of high quality oil to meet new standard needs a 'next generation' innovative oil refining tool in paradigm shift. 'Nanoneutralization' using controlled hydrodynamic cavitation-assisted Nanoreactor is successfully being introduced and commercialized into edible oil industry and it plays a key driver for sustainable development of food processing. This emerging technology using bubble dynamics as a consequence of Bernoulli's principle by hydrodynamic cavitation in Venturi-designed multi-flow through cell is radically changing the conventionally chemical-oriented neutralization. Nanoneutralization derived by the creation of nanometer-sized bubbles formed through scientifically structured geometric channels under high pressure has been proven to improve mass transfer and reaction rate so substantially reduce the chemicals required for refined vegetable oil and to increase oil yield while even improving oil quality. More researches on science behind this revolutionary technology will help usto better understand the principle and process hence makes its potential applications expandable in extraction, refining and modification of fats and oils processing.

New non-hybrid approaches to improve energy efficiency of construction machineries are reviewed in this paper. Hydraulic systems are classified into four classes according to Backe's classification and commercially promising new technologies are carefully chosen in each class. IMV, 3-Line CPR, Closed Circuit Displacement Control of Differential Cylinder, and Throttle-less Secondary Control are chosen as representative non-hybrid new technologies. Key principle of each technology is explained and representative references which run through each technology are selected. Advantages and weaknesses of each technology are discussed and compared from the view point of construction machinery manufacturers.

The decades after the French Revolution witnessed the prolific production and consumption of apocalyptic literature, tinged with the optimistic vision of political progress and human perfectibility. However, the Romantic writers were cautious to embrace the idea of the end of history, even though it promised an aesthetic space relieved of historical determinants. Mary Shelley's The Last Man joined this line of Romantic literature which skeptically questions the millenarian desires of political apocalypse by representing apocalypse without millenium. Using the theme of apocalypse as a tool to investigate the place of human beings in the universe and to test diverse political reform ideas to their fullest potential, the novel diagnoses the ideas of representative political subject as the most problematic aspect of political structure. The notion of subjecthood presupposes a political decision as to who can be counted as subject and this decision, according to the novel, assumed a subject that is "active, free, conscious and willful sovereign," which Raymond embodies in his exemplary body. Against the sovereignty of Raymond is juxtaposed the subaltern subject such as Sybil. The resistance of Sybil to Apollo, another exemplary subject, is the subtext of the novel, which guides the way out of the grim future of humanity. While the plague exemplifies the universalizing ideal with its principle of sovereignty, Sybil and her descendent Lionel practice the unconditional hospitality so that they can renew the community in a way to embrace singularities of individuals.
