In this paper, an experimental study was conducted on the performance of the cooling tower. In order to improve reliability in the cooling tower performance test, the measurement uncertainty of the instrument was estimated. Measurement uncertainty refers to the uncertainty of a measurement, estimates the range in which the expected value of the measurement can be within a certain confidence level, and suggests a range in which the measured representative value is incorrect. Therefore, the measurement result of the performance experiment is not an actual value, but a reasonable estimated value. The measurement uncertainty for the test was calculated and the measured results were presented.

In order to determine the location of average concentration and distribution status of dissolved oxygen in the rectangular aeration tank of the sewage treatment plant was analyzed and the difference of dissolved oxygen concentration was remarkable at each location. Compared with the computational fluid dynamics analysis, it was found that the results were consistent with the measurement results by showing the difference of dissolved oxygen concentration between the locations. Based on the measured data, the representative location of dissolved oxygen in aeration tank was selected by using statistical analysis method and the representative location was expressed in three-dimensional coordinates(LWH : 25%, 50%, 33%) from flow direction and left wall. Also the difference between the dissolved oxygen concentration at the actual measurement location and the average concentration value of the entire aeration tank was founded, and the equations for calibrating the automatic measurement data considering the actual measurement location were calculated.

본 연구는 소비자의 쇼핑성향을 쾌락적 쇼핑성향과 실용적 쇼핑성향으로 구분하고 로하스 제품에 대한 소비 의식 및 소비 행동과 쾌락적,실용적 쇼핑성향과의 관계를 살펴보았다. 결과는 쾌락적,실용적 쇼핑성향이 모두 로하스 제품에 대한 소비 의식 및 소비 행동에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 소비자들이 구매하는 로하스 제품을 쾌락적, 실용적, 쾌락적+실용적 성격으로 구분하여 각각 대표적인 화장품, 세제, 전자제품에 대한 로하스 제품 소비행동과 쇼핑성향과의 관계를 살펴 본 결과, 쾌락적+실용적 성격의 로하스 전자제품 소비에는 쾌락적, 실용적 쇼핑 성향 모두가 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 쾌락적 성격의 로하스 화장품 소비에는 쾌락적 쇼핑성향만 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 실용적 성격의 로하스 세제 소비에는 실용적 쇼핑성향이 영향을 주지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 로하스 제품의 확대를 위해서는 로하스 제품 소비 자체가 소비자로서 자존심을 바로 향상시키고 얼마나 즐거움을 줄 수 있는가와 같은 소비자의 쾌락적 쇼핑성향을 충족시키는데 초점을 맞추어야 하며, 나아가, 로하스 소비 행동이 사회적으로 적합하며 올바른 행동이라는 점을 홍보하고, 깨끗한 환경에 기여를 하는 소비가 모범적인 행동이며 성숙한 시민으로서의 의무 사항이라는 홍보와 교육이 필수적이라고 할 수 있을 것이다.

We empirically examine the impact of online auction knowledge and category-specific knowledge on the final price of online auctions. Specifically, we question how the relationship between buying and selling experiences affects the final prices of online auctions. Related to the trust between buyers and sellers, we examine the multiple interactions between a buyer-seller pairand aim to identify how these repeated transactions influence the final price. To contrast these effects with other product related factors, we focus on so called 'common value' auctions of vintage stamps on eBay, in which the ex-post value of the product is the same among participating agents’ perceived value. Online auction of stamps provides a representative setting to examine the relationship between market experience and the auction participation behavior in the common value auction, as it provides the book value of stamp as well as price variation across individual buyers with different expertise levels. Our analysis of over 3000 stamps auctions on eBay indicates a significantly high frequency of buyer-seller (pair) interactions, thus suggesting a 'relationship view' of auctions. The work validates five hypotheses derived from the existing theory in economics, marketing, and information systems. Through the common-value auction data, we find that seller's online auction experience and category-specific experience favor sellers by increasing the final price. However, buyer's online auction experience does not affect the final price, but buyer's category-specific experience favors buyers by decreasing the final price. We find that the trust between two trading parties increases the final price.

This study describes the accounting approach of separating the value chain components that occur between the origin and destination of a country's total exports, and applied this analysis to the nation's information and communication industry. As a result of this study, the analysis results of ICT's global value chain for the United States and China, focusing on Korea, are as follows: First of all, the value added standard was relatively lower than the export amount standard for the information and communication industry. In particular, the gap was starkly visible in the information and communication manufacturing sector, where global vertical specialization was developed relatively. As a representative sector, the computer-related equipment sector exported to China became more specialized vertically than other information and communication industries. Next, the method of participating in vertical specialization of Korea's information and communication sector and its relative position in the global value chain came from domestic products (0.25/35.16) whose total exports, which were double calculated in the case of the U.S. market, returned home. On the other hand, about 32.68 percent returned to the Chinese market. Finally, in the global value chain level, the SW sector occupied a medium vertical culture location for the information and communication equipment sector and the information and communication service sector.

In recent days, most of the lagoons in Korea have been lost on account of indiscreet development and pollution. Thus, this study measures the conservation value of the Songji lagoon, a representative lagoon in Korea by using the contingent valuation (CV) method and specifies the non-use value of Songji lagoon. The survey was carefully desigrled and implemented to meet a number of recommendation rules suggested in the literature. The overall results show that the respondents well accepted the contingent market and would be willing to pay a significant amount for the proposed program to conserve Songii lagoon. Total Conservation value of Songji lagoon amounted to approximately 21.2 billion Korean won per year. Moreover, the non-use value of Songji lagoon amounted 15.7 billion Korean won per yew. The results of measuring the conservation value provide decision-makers with data indispensable to devising a conservation and management policy.

We describe a new active learning method in conditional random fields (CRFs) framework for keyphrase extraction. To save elaboration in annotation, we use diversity and representative measure. We select high diversity training candidates by sentence confidence value. We also select high representative candidates by clustering the part-of-speech patterns of contexts. In the experiments using dialog corpus, our method achieves 86.80% and saves 88% training corpus compared with those of supervised method. From the results of experiment, we can see that the proposed method shows improved performance over the previous methods. Additionally, the proposed method can be applied to other applications easily since its implementation is independent on applications.

Finite element computations were carried out to study the indentation by rigid cone with half-angle of $70.3^{\circ}$ for 72 different combinations of elasto-plastic properties that cover the wide range of mechanical parameters of common engineering solid materials. The dimensional analysis and representative strain concept were used in the analysis. It was shown that for the same representative strain value, the loading curvature C can be formulated under two different forms, which are based on two alternative dimensionless functions. The present study's one is simpler than the other previously found by other authors using the similar approach. For a wide range of material's parameters, the hardness-modulus ratio should be a parabolic function of ${\sigma}E$, rather than a power law function earlier proposed.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between thought systems of post-structuralism by Deleuze and digital culture which is the core topic of social and cultural discussion. And this study also aims to grasp the diversity and movable thinking shown in fashion illustration from the aesthetic thought systems of post-structuralism theory by Deleuze. Furthermore, this study intends to ascertain the concrete representation characteristics and its significance of fashion illustration by analyzing works on the basis of the above-mentioned theory. What are discussed in this paper can be summarized as follows First, this study examined the post-structuralism which supplies the theoretic basis for figuring out the principles of diversity and movable thinking. Second, this study examined the relationship between the open structure and movable individuality of Deleuze who is a representative scholar of post- structuralism. Third, this study analyzed the representative characteristics and aesthetic value to which the principles of post-structuralism, derived from the aesthetic theory of Deleuze, was applied.

We looked at how the damping qualities of epoxy composites changed when different amounts of graphite nanoplatelets (GNP) were added, from 0% to 6% by weight. A mix of free and forced vibration tests helped us find the key GNP content that makes the damper ability better the most. We also created a Representative Volume Element (RVE) model to guess how the alloys would behave mechanically and checked these models against testing data. An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) was also used to guess how these compounds would react to motion. With proper hyperparameter tweaking, the ANN model showed good correlation (R²=0.98) with actual data, indicating its ability to predict complex material behavior. Combining these methods shows how GNPs impact epoxy composite mechanical properties and how machine learning might improve material design. We show how adding GNPs to epoxy composites may considerably reduce vibration. These materials may be used in industries that value vibration damping.
