저 가격형 Zigbee 통신 네트워크 기반 HID 가로등의 원격 제어 및 감시 시스템 개발 (Development of Remote Control and Monitoring System for HID Street-lamp Based on Low Cost Zigbee Communication Network)

  • In this paper, remote control and surveillance monitoring system of HID street-lamp using low-cost type of Zigbee communication module was developed. A plurality of capacitors with different capacity are attached to magnetic ballast for HID lamps. Changes in the amount of illumination can be adjusted by the changes in capacity so that the electric energy can be reduced. In Zigbee communication module, a ATmega128L microprocessor is used and in main CPU, ARM9 Core is used to construct a low-cost smart system. In surveillance monitoring systems, the system was configured to remote monitoring of presence of error in the lamp abnormalities, the status of leakage current and abnormalities of ballasts and capacitors and the validity of the proposed empirical experiment was confirmed.

  • Recently, the advanced countries are using the corrosion monitoring system in a chemical plant and an oil tank in order to protect the corrosion because it leads to a big accident, pollution of soil. and lose of money Generally. the owners of the facilities adopt CP(Cathodic Protection) systems to protect the corrosion also. However, a CP system for oil tank was not considered in Korea Moreover they didn't adopted a corrosion monitoring system. In this paper, we have been developed not only the remote automatic corrosion monitoring but also the remote corrosion control system using the high efficiency CP rectifier. This results should be used to operate the CP system effectively and economically. And also it will be possible to extend the expectation life of the Oil tanks.

  • In general, electronic conveyor scales are installed in a relatively distributed manner on the crushed rock and sand production site. It is one of the time-consuming and difficult engineering works to monitor and control the plant operation status such as the management of measuring data, malfunction of belt conveyor, and fault of electronic conveyor scale. Therefore, to alleviate the inefficient problems and to monitor the operating plant in the online and remote control room, a remote calibration and real-time monitoring system, which is practically applied to the electronic conveyor scale system and verified by onsite experiment, is developed based on the LabVIEW.

  • Composition environments - Automatic Control System based on Sproute Cultivator using Remote Conditional Driving System was realized. It was carried out to investigate into the characteristics of LEDs Control for the cultivation of sprouts. We have also composed a Combined Automatic Control System possible for the control of temperature and humidity at the same time. The applied LEDs for measurement are blue, green, red, white, yellow leds. And we had also designed the Web Programming for the automatic control about sprout cutivators.

  • Spent nuclear fuel is highly radioactive and requires remote operation due to radiation exposure. Motors which have been used in the highly radioactive environments are a DC type because of their easy implementation on control system. However there are some problems such as mechanical maintenance of brush and commutator, high cost, and heavy material control. AC servo motors are applied and tested on fuzzy and conventional control algorithms. Fuzzy logic controls of AC servo give adequate control accuracy and power for spent fuel handling in radioactive environments.

  • 무선 인터넷의 급속한 발달과 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 시대의 도래로 휴대폰과 PDA 등의 모바일 디바이스가 생활의 일부가 되고 있다. 특히 모바일 디바이스는 이동성이라는 큰 장점을 가지고 있으므로 이를 통한 원격 제어 시스템 분야에 대한 기대도 급증하고 있다. 기존의 모바일 디바이스를 통한 원격 제어 시스템의 경우 오류 상황을 Client가 정확히 인식하지 못하여 오류에 대처하지 못했던 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문은 모바일 디바이스 중 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 휴대폰을 Client로 사용하여 원격 컴퓨터에서의 문제 발생시 SMS 형태의 오류 메시지 전송이 가능한 원격 컴퓨터 제어 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • 장소와 시간에 관계없이 언제든 네트워크에 접속해 컴퓨팅할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 환경은 디지털 기술의 발전으로 이제 전문가 영역에서 생활 현장으로까지 퍼져나가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 언제 어디서나 멀리 떨어진 곳에서도 휴대폰을 통해 내 PC를 제어할 수 있는 모바일 PC 원격 제어 시스템 구현을 목표로 한다. 특히, 대표적인 PC 원격 제어 기능 중 하나인 메일 전송 기능을 설계하고 구현함으로써 휴대폰을 통해 내 PC에 접속하여 원하는 파일이 첨부된 메일을 전송할 수 있도록 하였다. 클라이언트 모듈은 WIPI Jlet으로 구현하였으며 KTF 휴대폰에서 동작하도록 개발하였고, 서버 모듈은 J2SE 환경에서 개발함으로써 서버 운영체제와 무관하게 실행될 수 있도록 하였다. 동작 실험을 통해 본 논문에서 개발한 PC 원격 제어 소프트웨어가 올바로 동작함을 확인하였으며, 본 논문에서 개발한 소스 코드를 공개함으로써 향후 이메일 전송 이외의 PC 기능들이 모바일 에이전트 형태로 구현될 수 있는 발판을 마련한다는 것이 본 논문이 기여하는 바라 할 것이다.

휴대폰과 Labview를 활용한 원격제어 (Remote control by mobile and Labview)

  • 본 논문은 시스템 사용자가 시스템이 위치해 있는 장소에 직접 상주하지 않고도 자신의 개인 휴대폰을 이용해서 언제 어디서나 시스템을 모니터링하고 제어할 수 있는 방법에 대해 기술한다. 모바일 접속을 위한 컴퓨터 서버의 환경은 Apache 웹 서버와 PHP 및 MySQL ODBC를 연동해서 구축했다. 원격 모바일 접속을 위한 무선 인터넷 홈페이지는 Anybuilder 소프트웨어를 이용해 개발했고, 프로그램 개발을 위한 모바일 시뮬레이터는 Openwave SDK 6.2를 사용했다. 개발한 무선인터넷 접속 프로그램은 국내 이동통신 3사 모두에 대해 적용이 가능하며 본 논문에서 최종 테스트는 WAP 접속용 브라우저가 탑재된 KTF 단말기를 사용했다. 로컬 시스템에 대한 제어 및 모니터링 프로그램은 NI Labview 소프트웨어를 이용해서 개발했다. 원격으로 제어하고자 하는 로컬 시스템은 아날로그와 디지털 신호를 송. 수신 가능한 데이터 수집 장치와 신호 제어용 보드를 연결하여 소프트웨어에 의해 제어되게 했다. 휴대폰을 이용해 원격으로 제어가 가능함을 실험을 통해 확인했다.

Development of Long-Term Storage Technology for Chinese Cabbage - Physiological Characteristics of Postharvest Freshness in a Cooler with a Monitoring and Control Interface

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop long-term storage technology for Chinese cabbage in order to extend the period of availability of freshly harvested products. The scope of the paper deals with the use of a cooler with a remote monitoring and control interface in conjunction with use of packaging film. Methods: A cooler with a real time monitoring system was designed as a low-temperature storage facility to control temperature and relative humidity (RH). The effects of storage in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic boxes, 3% chitosan dipping solution, polypropylene film (PEF) with perforations, and mesh packaging bags on physiological responses were investigated. The optimal storage temperature and humidity for 120 days were below $0.5^{\circ}C$ and 90%, respectively. Physiological and biochemical features of cabbage quality were also analyzed: weight loss, texture, and sugar salinity, chlorophyll, reducing sugar, and vitamin C contents. Results: The cooler with a remote monitoring and control interface could be operated by an HMI program. A $0.5^{\circ}C$ temperature and 90% humidity could be remotely controlled within the cooler for 120 days. Postharvest freshness of Chinese cabbages could be maintained up to 120 days depending on the packaging method and operation of the remote monitoring system. In particular, wrapping the cabbages in PEF with perforations resulted in a less than a 5% deterioration in quality. This study provides evidence for efficient performance of plastic films in minimizing post-harvest deterioration and maintaining overall quality of cabbages stored under precise low-temperature conditions with remote monitoring and a control interface. Conclusions: Packaging with a modified plastic film and storage in a precisely controlled cooler with a remote monitoring and control interface could slow down the physiological factors that cause adverse quality changes and thereby increase the shelf life of Chinese cabbage.

  • Activated sludge processes are widely used in biological wastewater treatment processes. The main motivation of this research is to develop an intelligent control strategy for activated sludge process (ASP). ASP is a complex and nonlinear dynamic system because of the characteristic of wastewater, the change in influent rate, weather conditions, and so on. The mathematical model of ASP also includes uncertainties which are ignored or not considered by process engineer or controller designer. The ASP model based on Matlab/Simulink is designed in this paper. The performance of the model is tested by IWA (International Water Association) and COST (European Cooperation in the filed of Scientific and Technical Research) data that include steady-state results during 14 days. In this paper, fuzzy logic control approach is applied to control the DO (dissolved oxygen) concentration. The fuzzy logic controller that includes two inputs and one output can adjust air flowrate. Also, this paper introduces the remote monitoring and control system that is applied for the CSTR (Continuously Stirred Tank Reactor) wastewater treatment system. The CSTR plant has a local control and the remote monitoring system which is contained communication parts which consist of LAN (Local Area Network) network and CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) wireless module. Remote control and monitoring systems are constructed in the laboratory.
