A Real-time Remote Logging Model for Development of Location-Based Mobile Applications

  • In this paper, we propose a real-time remote logging model for development of android applications using LBS(Location based Service). The model has two major parts: Mobile Log Management Service and Remote Log Server. Mobile Log Management Service consists of the log collector and the remote log manager. The log collector is an aspect of AOP which can collect logs from the target application without modifications of source codes. The remote log manager has a background service component so that it can receive logs whenever the log collector captures logs from the target application. Remote Log Server communicates with Mobile Log Management Service by socket interface. Therefore, Remote Log Server can show logs in real-time. To validate the efficiency of the proposed model, we show a case study, and compare the model with other models.

  • In this paper, we proposed service security model and remote management service on OSGi computing environment. The model is used to make access control decisions like permission-based security inside the java2 platform. In model, policies are defined using a flat text file and include bundles. It method granted flexibility and extendability of access control of bundles and services. Also, we proposed service architecture efficiently for remote management service.

  • This paper is concerned with data center remote management service for demanding forecasting and reduction of energy usage. More particularly, intelligent server rack, mounted on inside of the data center, collects information about energy usage and temperature per server. Using this information, management platform forecasts energy demand in the future and automatically makes report according green environment raw. By providing the remote management service through remote terminals, users are not tied to a time and place to control device inside the data center. In this way, the data center remote management service enhances operability of the facility.

  • This study is about current operating system and development process of remote island route. 14 companies are providing safe transportation service for remote island residents with total 30 boots on 27 routes. Each route transit analysis shows that the number of passenger tends to increase every year. In order to enhance customer satisfaction, more constructive improvement is demanded, such as implementing operation evaluation on each charter service provider.1he result obtained from this study is to be utilized as basic document for remote island route development process in semi-long run basis.

Performance Evaluation of Node.js for Web Service Gateway in IoT Remote Monitoring Applications

  • The growth of mobile devices in Internet of Things (IoT) leads to a number of remote and controlling system related IoT applications. For instance, home automation controlling system uses client system such web apps on smartphone or web service to access the home server by sending control commands. The home server receives the command, then controls for instance the light system. The web service gateway responsible for handling clients' requests attests an internet latency when an increasing number of end users requests submit toward it. Therefore, this web service gateway fails to detect several commands, slows down predefined actions which should be performed without human intervention. In this paper, we investigate the performance of a web server-side platgorm based event-driven, non-blocking approach called Node.js against traditional thread-based server side approach to handle a large number of client requests simultaneously for remote and controlling system in IoT remote monitoring applications. The Node.JS is 40% faster than the traditional web server side features thread-based approach. The use of Node.js server-side handles a large number of clients' requests, then therefore, reduces delay in performing predefined actions automatically in IoT environment.

  • The applications and concerned technologies of cloud computing services, one of major trends in the information communication technology, are widely progressing and advancing. OpenStack, one of open source cloud computing platforms, is comprised of several service components; using these, it can be possible to build public or private cloud computing service for a given target application. In this study, a remote sensing image analysis processing service on cloud computing environment has designed and implemented as an operational test application in the private cloud computing environment based on OpenStack. The implemented service is divided into instance server, web service, and mobile app. A instance server provides remote sensing image processing and database functions, and the web service works for storage and management of remote sensing image from user sides. The mobile app provides functions for remote sensing images visualization and some requests.

  • This paper describes remote control RS232 communication using internet service, safety of exchange data and internet traffic by Denial of Service Attacks. In case of Denial of service Attacks, it makes connection of internet service failed. So in this Paper, this solution was examined and implemented for receiving data in safety against Denial of Service Attacks by LabVIEW program of National Instruments.

  • A range of problems rave risen as the results of the obligated charter service. Constant lack of operation improvement compared to regular routes and lower quality service are results of business practice by the service providers. lherefore, this study executed an actual research using AHP to present a method for improvement by investigating remote island clnrter service providers. Result shows tint the desirable method is to implement operation evaluation system to induce service providers to consistently put efforts on the operating system development.
