Remote PECVD로 저온성장된 $SiO_2$/InSb의 전기적 특성 (Electrical properties of $SiO_2$/InSb prepared by low temperature remote PECVD)

  • $SiO_2$ insulator layers on InSb have been prepared by remote PECVD system a low temperature below $200^{\circ}C$. The effects of deposition pressure, temperature, and gas flow ratio on the physical and electrical characteristics of the $SiO_2$ were studied. The InSb MIS device using $SiO_2$ was fabricated and measured its current-voltage and capacitance-voltage characteritance-voltage charateristics at 77K. The films evaluated Auger electron spectroscopy showed that composition atoms were distributed uniformaly throughout the oxide film and the outdiffusion of substrate atoms into the oxide were few. The leakage current density of the MIS device was about 6.26nA/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at 0.75MV/cm , and the breakdown voltage was about 1MV/cm. The interface-stage density at mid-bandgap extracted from 1MHz C-V measurement was $54\times 10^{11}\textrm{cm}^2-2V^{-1}$.

  • Electrolytic power capacitors today form essential components for virtually any power electronic system such as DC/DC converter or UPS. Frequently, electrolytic capacitors for DC link voltage smoothing are the key components which determine the life cycle of the whole unit and often are responsible for converter breakdown failures. In this paper, ethernet-based remote diagnosis system for DC voltage smoothing capacitor using DSP control board is developed. To estimate the status of the capacitor, the equivalent series resistor(ESR) of the component has to be determined. The ESR detection scheme is based on the determination of the capacitor ripple power losses calculated from DC link voltage/current measurement. Experimental results show the veridity and reliability of the proposed ethernet-based remote on-line capacitor diagnosis system.

  • Most of the applications for distribution system operation highly rely on the voltage and current managements from the field devices. Voltage from the remote controlled switch contains unacceptably large measurement error due to the nonlinear characteristics of the bushing potential transformer. This paper proposes a new voltage magnitude estimation method by calculating voltage drop using current measurement, line impedance and loads deployment data. Contract demand power and pole transformer capacity managed by NDIS are used as a key element to improve accuracy of the proposed method. Various case studies using Matlab simulation have been performed to verify feasibility of the propose voltage estimation method.

  • In this paper, leakage current sensing module of SoC(System on Chip)type and real time monitoring system under consideration of electromagnetic interface in power trunk line are developed. The first, leakage current sensing module of SoC type under consideration of electromagnetic interface is developed, and the developed sensing module of SoC type is composed of leakage sensing part, power supply part, interface part, communication part, AD(Alternating current to Direct current)convert part and amplification part. And also the electromagnetic compatibility is evaluated by conduction and radiation of EMI(Electromagnetic Interference) for developed sensing module. The developed system can have confidence, stability and do energy saving under mixed electric circumstance of the low voltage communication device and high voltage equipment. The second, the real time remote monitoring system is developed using designed wire and wireless communication module with leakage current sensing module of SoC type. The developed real time remote monitoring system can monitor sensing state, occurrence state of leakage current and alarm for each step etc.. And the device configuration, PCB layout for leakage current sensing module of system on chip type and the experiment configuration in consideration of EMI are presented. Also the measurement results of conduction and radiation for EMI are presented.

  • We propose portable equipment that monitors current and voltage of high-potential power transmission lines. In the equipment, a current and voltage sensor are attached to an insulator that supports a power transmission line: A clamped to the power line and the detected current signal is transmitted to the ground station by a wireless optical link using transmission line is detected by a high resistance element, zinc oxide (ZnO). That acts as a potential divider between the power line and ground. We make an experimental device for 66kV power line and demonstrate that it can monitor currents proposed equipment is small-sized, light, and inexpensive in comparison with the conventional CT (current transformer) and PT (potential transformer) since it does not require high potential insulators and magnetic cores, further, the equipment is easily installed owing to its small size and its simple structure.

  • The contact and messenger wire is important parts in the electric power system of the railroad. There are so many measurement method like voltage, current, scratch of surface, and glow longer of length. In this paper suggest real time monitering system of messenger wire so called RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) and this system includes CDMA module to transfer real time or saved data of memory to the end user directly who is in the long distance. The hyper terminal program of windows shows the downloaded data from RTU through CDMA communication and this data can be transferred to excel sheet easily.

A Voltage Control Method based on Constants of Four Terminals Network Modeling of Distribution Networks

  • In this paper, a new algorithm of optimal voltage control is proposed for the Distribution Automation System (DAS) based on constants of four terminal network modeling. In the proposed method, the voltage profiles along feeders are estimated from the measurement of the current and power factor by a Feeder Remote Terminal Unit (FRTU) installed at each node. Whenever the voltage profile violates the restriction, the voltage control strategy is applied to keep the voltage levels along the feeders within the pre-specified range through the modification and coordination of the transformer under-load tap changers (ULTC), step voltage regulator (SVR), as well as shunt condenser. In the case studies, the estimation and control of the voltages have been testified in a radial distribution system with 11 nodes.

  • In this paper, a new algorithm of Integrated Volt/Var Control (IVVC) is proposed using Volt/Var control for the Distribution Automation System (DAS) based on the modeling of the distributed load and the distributed current. In the proposed, the load flow based on the modeling of the distributed load with Distributed Generation and the distributed current are estimated from constants of four terminals using the measurement of the current and power factor from a Feeder Remote Terminal Unit (FRTU). For Integrated Volt/Var Control (IVVC), the gradient method is applied to find optimal solution for tap and capacity control of OLTC (On-Load Tap Changers), SVR (Step Voltage Regulator), and SC (Shunt Condenser). What is more Volt/Var control method is proposed using moving the tie switch as well as IVVC algorithm using power utility control. In the case studies, the estimation and simulation network have been testified in Matlab Simulink.

  • 중수로 내부구조물 중 칼란드리아관(CT)와 액체주입노즐관(LIN)은 서로 수평으로 90도 교차되게 배열되어 있으며 원자로 내의 열, 방사선, 하중에 의해 creep 현상이 발생되어 처짐이 일어난다. 칼란드리아관은 액체주입노즐관과 동일 재료이나 운전 온도와 방사선 조사량으로 인해 액체주입노즐관에 비해 상당히 열악한 조건에 노출되어 있으므로 처짐이 심각할 것으로 예상된다. 만약 두 관의 접촉이 발생되면 원전 안전성에 영향을 미칠 것이므로 인접관에 대한 접촉여부 점검은 중수로 안전현안 중 하나이다. 이러한 접촉여부를 확인하기 위하여 핵연료채널 내부로 탐촉자를 삽입하여 인접관과의 교차점에서 간격을 직접측정하기 위한 방법으로 원거리장 와전류검사 (RFECT) 기술을 적용하였다. 핵연료채널 인접관인 액체주입노즐관 신호 취득시 발생 가능한 잡음 신호(두께변화, Lift-off, 수축)에 대해 체적적분법에 의한 모델링으로 조사하였고, 신호와 잡음과의 분리 가능한 조건을 확인하였다. 원거리장 와전류검사 적정 조건은 민감도와 투과력 그리고 잡음신호 등을 동시에 고려하여 주파수 1kHz와 코일간격 200m로서 결정하였다. 원거리장 와전류검사 실험 결과 칼란드리아관과 액체주입노즐관 사이의 간격 변화에 대한 신호 특성을 전압평면을 이용하여 상관관계를 도출하였다.
