  • In this monograph, we developed a Remote Courseware Management System so we can more easily cultivate a courseware with various multimedia applications through an easy interface with the internt. In the view of Developer of view, we could develop RCMS rapidly using the application of ASP.NET and have tried to adapt ourself to the future environment using it. ASP.NET provides much richer event programming model than ASP and event processor which are executed on Server. In the view of User, they can used the Internet service with equipment that they want at any place and any time. To control any kinds of courseware for Administrator and Users, we offered a variety of Multimedia applications and an easy interface and built a new style of web courseware.

  • This thesis is dealing with conveyer remote monitoring and control system for shoes process formed by client/server, which is based on Web. Modules for watching and controlling images in a remote by client is manufactured under JAVA, and conveyer server for real-time controlling is founded on RTLinux. And device driver and APIs are developed based on it. Through both manufacturing these software and LEGO-based prototyping, it would present the real-time conveyer controlling system founded on Web to be applied to industrial spots.

  • It is possible to make a practical application for many services by using Home Networking. It's brings much improve the quality of our life. Remote control communication should be made by Home Network but present networks are generally using wireless Internet. But, this method don't use exist home and not install wireless internet. Because It need to many devices. Therefore, in this paper we implement gas valve remote control system using RPM(Radio Packet Modem). We can easily installing systems and operating. This system provide different solution for Home networking.

  • The scale of wind turbines has continuously increased over the last decade. Especially, the rapid growth of the rotor diameter has brought about the increase of the tower height and the load on the rotor blade, as can be seen in the case of a 5MW class wind turbine with 126m rotor diameter. This trend means the increasing possibility of system failure. In addition to that, it is impossible for human operators to stay and manage all the turbines in the case of a large-scale wind farm. For these reasons, the operation and maintenance technology is getting more importance. In this paper, we present an unmanned remote monitoring system for MW class wind turbines and its application to YeungHeung wind test bed.

  • This paper describes the development of tele-robotic interface for the hot-line maintenance robot system. One of main issues in designing human-robot interface for the hot-line maintenance robot system is to plan the control procedure for each part of the robotic system. Another issue is that the actual degree of freedom (DOF) in the hot-line maintenance robot system is much greater than that of available control devices such as joysticks and gloves in the remote-cabin. For this purpose, a virtual simulator, which includes the virtual hot-line maintenance robot system and the environment, is developed in the 3D environment using CAD data. It is assumed that the control operation is done in the remote cabin and the overall work process is observed using the main-camera with 2 DOFs. For the input device, two joysticks, one pedal, two data gloves, and a Head Mounted Display (HMD) with tracker sensor were used. The interface is developed for each control mode. Designed human-interface system is operated using high-level control commands which are intuitive and easy to understand without any special training.

  • This paper proposes a new internet Web based concept & design method and implementation of LonWorks network system for remote intelligent control. The Experimental LonWorks network system using i·LON Web server is designed and fabricated. It is also verified that the developed control modules with LonTalk protocol have available inter offerable, reliable performance characteristics from the experimental results, Especially, the results provide a available technical data for remote home, building & plant automation control.

  • This paper describes development of distributed type independent electro-hydraulic ballast valve remote control system with diagnostic function based on fuzzy inference using redundant Modbus communication and ethernet Modbus TCP/IP. Diagnostic function estimate degradation of system components and diagnose system faults, which results in shortage of fault maintenance time and improvement of system safety. Slave devices which control each valve and master device which command, monitor and diagnose slave system are developed. Slave devices are connected to master device with redundant Modbus networks and master device is connected to ship's integrated control system with Modbus TCP/IP. Also this paper describes development of simulator to test and confirm whether developed system can be integrated with ship's integrated control and monitoring system.

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of the educational remote controlled robot system including remote sensing in the embedded environment. The design of sensing information processing, software design and template design mechanism for the programming practice are introduced. LPC1769 using Cortex-M3 core as CPU, LPCXPRESSO as debugging environment, C language as firmware development language and FreeRTOS as OS are used in development environment. The control command is received via RF communication by the server and the robot system which is operated by driving the various sensors. The educational procedure is from robot demo operation program as hands-on practice and then compiling, loading of the basic robot operation program, already supplied. Thereafter the verification is checked by using the basic robot operation to allow demo operation such as hands-on-training procedure. The original protocol is designed via RF communication between server and robot system, and the satisfied performance result is presented by analyzing the robot sensing data processing.

  • The Growth in wireless Internet has made Networking possible at anytime and anywhere. So mobile devices like cellular phone and PDA are now used in various fields. In particular, the mobility of mobile devices has a great advantage in remote control. This paper designed and implemented a Mobile VNC system that transmitted the screen image of a remote computer, control the remote computer GU and monitor all by cellular phone. The proposed system consists of a Mobile Viewer un on the cellular phone, VNC Server m on a number of remote computers and a VNC Monitor. For communication between the VNC Server and the Mobile Viewer the MRFB protocol is used. The screen image transmitted to the Mobile Viewer is encoded in the PNG format supported by SK-VM, the Java execution environment of the Cellular phone. According to implementation results, the image is about $2KB\~8KB$. According to the 65 times transmission test, the average frame per second is 4.93fps in the emulator and a real cellular phone takes 0.8fps. Therefore, the proposed system is more efficient than existing systems.
