1-1. 디자인은 종합과학이다. 아래 도표는 디자인이 종합과학의 두엇을 만족시켜야 할 것인가에 대한 설명이다. 1-2. 종교(학)적 연구 접근의 구체적 사유ㆍ첫째, 모든 과학이 궁극적으로 인간의 행복추구에 목적이 있다면 산업디자인학도 과학의 한 분야로서 인간의 행복추구를 위한 방편이 되는 종교와 신학을 마땅히 연구의 대상으로 받아들여야 하며, ㆍ 둘째, 이 세상은 무신론자들뿐만 아니라, 유신론자들에 의해서도 제품은 디자인되고, 생산되고, 교환되고, 분배되고, 소비되는 사회이기 때문에 이들에 의한 종교와 신학에 바탕한 디자인의 논리는 설득력을 가지며, ㆍ 셋째, 비록 종교적 견해를 달리함으로 인한 수긍될 수 없는 부분이 있을지라도, 그것은 어디까지나 종교적 견해가 다름으로 파생되는 문제이지, 논제가 그 자체의 논리성을 갖고있다면 마땅히 배타되어 져서는 아니 될 것으로 보아진다.(중략)

The furniture of the Joseon era, life sense of human forms a culture has appeared well. Feeling of life refers to the sense of feel natural to the history and traditional culture of the area and their own customs. Further, it is possible to be a sense that reflects the mental contents ego, ethical and religious. Furniture traditional and sophisticated sense like this is to take care of the sophistication that comes out from the inside than the beauty artificial as a function of the sense and user preferences. 교회건축에 있어서 실제적인 예배의식이 이루어지고 친교와 교육의 장이 되어지는 예배공간은 시대를 따라 변화하는 예배의식을 수용하는 기능뿐만 아니라 혼돈 된 주변 환경과 구별되고, 일상적인 생활에서 경험할 수 없는 기독교적 정체성을 담고 있는 종교적 체험공간으로서의 특성을 구현함이 매우 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있다. 교회건축의 중요한 목적은 예배공간의 형성에 있고 예배공간에서 강단은 모든 예배행위의 중심이 되는 교회건축의 핵이라 할 수 있다. 특별히 오늘날과 같이 예배공간의 다기능화, 개방화되어 가는 흐름 속에서 예배공간의 강단은 공간적, 기능적, 상징적 중심으로서 더욱 특별한 의미를 가진다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 현대 교회건축 인테리어 디자인 특성에 관한 일련의 연구 중 하나로 국내 개신교 예배공간을 대상으로 예배공간을 구성하는 핵심적인 영역인 강단의 인테리어 디자인 특성을 분석하여 교회건축에서 예배공간의 계획과 인테리어디자인을 위한 기초적인 자료를 구축하고자 하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 연구의 대상이 되는 1995년부터 2004년까지 10년간 국내 개신교 예배공간 강단의 인테리어 디자인 구성요소별 특성을 파악하였고 예배공간이 시대적 변화에 따라 개방화, 기능화, 다양화되고 있음을 발견하였다. 향후 기독교 신학을 바탕으로 개방적이고 다기능적이면서 기독교적 정체성을 표현 할 수 있는 독창적인 예배공간 인테리어 디자인에 대한 실증적 연구가 필요하다.

In postmodernism, the sublime that reaches ecstasy overcoming terror or pain is described as the most expressive phenomenon. The purpose of this study is to understand the sublime expressed in contemporary fashion. for this purpose, 1 investigated the theories of the sublime, categorized the definition and modes, then applied those categories for contemporary fashion. Documentary studies were conducted through aesthetic, design and fashion books and the demonstrative studies were processed by analyzing photos from fashion magazines. In the history of aesthetics, the sublime is explained as the ambivalent feeling mixed with pain and pleasure, terror and delight or negation and affirmation. In this study, the sublime could be defined as the aesthetic pleasure through the transcendence of the pain and terror and classified into 3 categories, the tragic, the initiative, and the deconstructive. The tragic sublime that includes the terrific, the disgusting and the religious character is expressed through the image of death or the physical torture, the satanic image or disgusting object and the ascetic image and religious sign or icons. The limitless sublime that includes the giant and the dynamic character is accomplished by consist of the elongation or the enlargement and the powerful authority. The deconsturctive sublime that includes the negative, the indeterminate and the complex character is associated with the deconstruction in style, the reversal of image and the destruction of the space of the body. Analysis on the sublime expressed in contemporary fashion may provide an excellent way for understanding human aesthetic consciousness in dress.

The modern fashion contains the religious factors or theories out of numerous cultural traits. Shamanism is a product of the very complicated combination of diversified cultural phenomena and whose traits are depicted as spiritual and artistic forms, reflecting on the materialism culture, social relations, customs, and religious faith. The Shamanism that lies in the life of humans gives much impact on their clothing life up to date, consciously or nonconsciously as well. The Shamanism clothing studied as yet has been focused on the costumes that a Shamanism priest and a shaman, the principal Shamanism performer wears and on the symbolic meaning or formativeness of the traditional shaman clothing that is only confined to certain local regions. The Shamanism in the modern costume influences not only on the traditional clothing unique to shaman but also on the other apparels in a widely extended sense. Nevertheless, the research on the modern costumes related to Shamanism is yet to be progressed. In this context, it is believed that the examination of Shamanism interrelated with a contemporary clothing expression is needed. This work would take a look specifically at how the Shamanism is given in the modern clothing fashion and review the inherent aesthetic characteristics. A fact was driven through this study that the shamanism shown in fashion is not only expressed in the modern style of shaman clothing but also unconsciously absorbed in the fashion on the whole. A finding was also revealed that the geometrical and abstract expression, the implication of animistic components, and the application of inherent shaman's costume on to design in regard to clothing are related to a view point of studying about shamanism. The meaning in each expressive method is focused on the superhumanistic desire of shamanism.

Nagan walled town is located on an axis connecting symbolic places, which is a lucky place from the Fengshui point of view because a mountain sits to the rear and a body of water sits to the front. It represents the environmental development of cultural space by blending folk belief, religion, social systems, adminstration facilities and living culture buildings. Therefore, it has a sustainable cultural view connected with a formed or formless religious view and an artificial view (walls, government buildings, living houses, cultivated lands, etc.) in a natural landscape. Environmental design techniques, enlarging the meaning and value of living on a mental level, can be found in the arrangement of space composition and settlement of Nagan walled town. The organised spaces of government and residential areas were constructed within the wall with the view of searching for lucky places (from best, better and good places) in order to construct ecological networks according to the outlooks of space and settlement.

This study aims to induce acoustic environmental characteristics which could be used for soundscape design by carrying out factor analysis on sound source image and cognition analysis on subjects' responses on selective questions due to class differences. The results of this study are as follows ; Satisfaction rate differences on exterior acoustic environment due to sensitivity and residence year were revealed. After factor analysis of living sound sources' image, it is known that natural sound, traditional sound, socials traffic sound, rural sound, religious sound and the others are main factors. Social traffic sound is the most one that should be eliminated and traditional sound is selected as a most Korean-like sound. Natural sound is evaluated as the most one that should be preserved and the most retrospectively one.

The purpose of this study was to determine the clothing value, awareness of and concern about clothing's country of origin in Korea and England university women. University women in Korea and England were surveyed to determine the importance attributed to 32 descriptors defining 8 clothing values. Awareness of, and concern about, clothing's country of origin were determined mean-scores, t-test and $x^2$-analyses were done. A different rank order of importance for clothing values exists for both groups. The Korea sample rated aesthetic, economic, theorical, political, exploratory and sensory significantly higher and social, religious significantly lower than England sample. England sample appeared to be more aware, concerned about clothing's country of origin than Korea sample. More Korea women were able to recall country of origin. Over half Korea sample but less than 22% England sample recalled purchasing primarily domestic apparel.
