암 환자가 지각한 가족 지지와 영적 안녕에 관한 조사 연구 (Study on Spiritual Well-being and Family Support of Cancer Patients)

  • This study was designed to provide the basic data of nursing intervention for alleviation of effective adjustment of cancer patients by identifying the correlation between the spiritual well-being and family support. The subjects for this study were 69 patients who were diagnosed as cancer and were admitted to a university hospital in Pusan. Data were collected during the period between December 1, 1998 and January 20, 1999 by interviewing with questionnaires. Family support questionnaire consisted of 11 questions answerable on a 5 point Likert scale developed by Kang Hyun Suk(1985). Spiritual well-being questionnaire consisted of 20 questions answerable on a 4 point Likert scale modified by Kang Jeong Ho(1996). The data were analyzed by in descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test and ANOVA using SPSS/WIN program. The results of this study were as follows. 1. The mean score for family support in cancer patients was 49.48, which indicated that cancer patients perceived their state of family support as high level. The mean score for spiritual well-being in cancer patients was 55.87, which indicated that cancer patients perceived their state of spiritual well-being as moderate level. Among the components of spiritual well-being, the mean score for religious well-being was 26.94 and for existential well-being 28.93. From the above, the mean score for existential well-being was higher than that of religious well-being. 2. There were statistically significant differences in family support according to the types of primary caregivers(F=3.48, p=0.008). The spouse caregiver showed the highest family support among the caregivers. There were statistically significant differences in spiritual well-being according to the job(F=2.20, p=0.046) and the level of perceived health status(F=2.71, p=0.05). There were statistically significant differences in religious well-being according to the religion(F=2.42, p=0.004) and the number of family members(F=3.38, p=0.040). And there were statistically significant differences in existential well-being according to the job(F=2.48, p=0.026) and the level of perceived health status(F=2.74, p=0.048). 3. There were positive correlation between spiritual well-being and the family support(r=0.481, p=0.000), between religious well-being and family support(r=0.336, p=0.008) and existential well-being and family support(r=0.519, p=0.000).

신앙을 가진 어린이들이 코로나19 시기에 경험한 변화와 바람에 관한 질적연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Experience and Expectations of Christian Children Regarding COVID-19)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 신앙을 가진 어린이들이 코로나19 시기에 경험한 변화와 바람에 관한 이야기를 탐색하여 교육적 방향을 제언하기 위함이다. 이러한 목적을 위해 코로나19 시기의 삶과 신앙생활에 대해 교회에 출석하는 초등학교 3-4학년 어린이 9명과 면담하였다. 분석 결과, 연구참여자 어린이들은 코로나19 시기에 일상의 변화, 학교생활의 변화, 대인관계의 변화, 신앙생활의 변화, 감정의 변화를 경험한 것으로 분석되었다. 일상의 변화에는 감염 예방을 위한 노력, 사라진 놀이, 여유로운 일상과 무기력함이, 그리고 학교생활의 변화에는 비대면 수업 실시와 다양한 규칙을 요구받음이 포함되었다. 친구·선생님·부모님·형제자매와의 어려움이 대인관계 변화에, 비대면 예배 실시와 가정예배 회복이 신앙생활의 변화에 포함되었다. 연구참여자들의 바람을 분석한 결과, 여행과 놀이의 회복을 포함하는 일상적 바람, 대면 예배로의 복귀·수련회의 회복·재미있는 프로그램 개발을 포함하는 신앙에 관한 바람, 그리고 코로나19 이전 학교생활로 복귀가 도출되었다, 이와 같은 어린이들의 경험과 바람을 토대로 본 연구는 교육자들이 코로나19 시기에 보여 준 어린이들의 노력을 인정하고 그들의 마음을 읽어주고 소통·공동체·즐거움의 요소가 포함된 교회 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있음을 제안한다.

  • The article considers current information technologies in the organization of educational work in secondary schools in Great Britain. The forms and types of organization of educational work in secondary schools of Great Britain with the help of modern information technologies are covered. The purposes of education with the help of modern information technologies are singled out. Mental, physical, labor, moral, aesthetic and other types of education, merged in a holistic educational process, provide an opportunity to achieve the main goal - the formation of a comprehensive and harmoniously developed personality. All forms of educational work have their pedagogical significance, and each of them is valuable in the process of education. Democratization and partnership development are the leading principles of education in British schools at the present stage; multiculturalism and student independence. This is the ability to promote the role of different types of education, such as: labor, moral, legal, religious, family, environmental, aesthetic, civic, physical, mental education, which is now possible with the help of current information technology. The article considers current information technologies in the organization of educational work in secondary schools in Great Britain. 한국 전통사찰 경내 식재실태 및 식재정비방안 연구 (A Study on the Current Planting Status and Maintenance Plans of Traditional Korean Temples)

  • 한국의 사찰정원은 자연과의 조화로운 삶을 추구하는 조상들의 지혜가 반영되어 있는 전통정원 중의 하나로, 전통사찰은 종교적 공간으로도 그 가치가 높지만 지리적 이점으로 주변경관이 아름다운 곳에 입지해 있기 때문에 종교적 공간으로써 사찰뿐만 아니라 경관감상을 위해 국내 외적으로 관심과 방문이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 오늘날 많은 사찰정원은 전통적 공간과 어울리지 않는 식물들의 무분별한 식재로 전통적 공간으로써 본래의 가치와 의미를 잃어가고 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리의 역사 문화를 간직한 사찰이 세계화에 앞서 전통성을 유지하기 위해 전국 전통사찰 51개소를 대상으로 사찰 경내 식재현황을 조사하였다. 식재현황 조사 결과, 사찰에 식재된 식물은 총 207종으로 그 중 자생식물은 128종(61.84%), 재배식물은 76종(36.71), 귀화식물은 2종(0.97%), 도입식물은 1종(0.48)으로 자생식물의 식재비율이 가장 높았으며, 전국 사찰에 가장 많이 식재된 상위 3종으로는 소나무(46개소), 느티나무(38개소), 은행나무(36개소)였다. 희귀식물로는 검팽나무, 구상나무 등이 조사되었으며 이는 전체식물 중 5.3%에 해당되며, 한국의 특산식물로는 병꽃나무, 오동나무 등이 조사되었으며 이는 3.4%로 조사되었다. 반면에, 연꽃, 파초, 불두화와 같이 불교와 관련이 있는 수종의 비율은 적었는데, 이로 미루어 볼 때, 전통 사찰정원에는 불교적 의미가 있는 식물뿐만 아니라 우리나라 전통적 의미를 가지는 식물의 식재 비율이 더 높은 것으로 나타나, 역사적인 공간으로써의 특징이 더 크게 보였다. 위와 같은 식재현황을 바탕으로 사찰정원의 의미와 특징을 극대화하기 위해 사찰의 진입로 영역, 경내 마당, 배경림과의 경계 및 화계 등 사찰 내부공간의 성격에 따라 식재 정비 방안을 제시하였으며, 본 연구를 통해, 새로운 한국사찰정원을 조성함에 있어 종교적, 역사적으로 의미가 있는 등 상징성 있는 식물의 식재 및 장소에 알맞은 수종을 식재할 것을 제안한다.

경험과 관련된 신앙교육 수업 준비과정과 적용을 위한 과제 연구 (A Study on the Tasks for the Preparation Process and Application of Faith Education Related to Experience)

  • 신앙교육은 그리스도의 삶을 추구하는 '삶의 방향전환'에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이것은 성서 지식을 축적하는 것이 아니라 성서의 메시지가 삶으로 구현되어야 가능하다. 그러나 오늘날 신앙교육은 성서 메시지가 삶으로 구현되게 하지 못하고 있다. 이것은 신앙교육이 성서의 경험과 인간 삶의 경험과 만나도록 안내하는 대신 성서 내용 자체를 알게 하는 데 주력한 결과라 할 수 있다. 교회교육은 삶의 변화와 실천보다 개인의 내면 신앙을 강조하며 사후 천국을 준비하고, 개교회 교인을 위한 훈련과 양적 성장을 위해 대부분 할애되었다. 그 결과 코로나19 시대에 개신교인들은 개교회의 안위만을 신경 쓰는 성숙하지 못한 모습을 보이고 말았고, 개신교에 대한 사회적 신뢰는 상실되고 말았다. 따라서 신앙교육은 성서의 메시지가 삶으로 구현되기 위해, 성서의 경험과 학습자의 경험이 만나 하나님 앞에 삶으로 응답하도록 도와야 한다. 이러한 신앙교육을 교회교육 현장에 어떻게 준비해야 하는지 모색하고자 필자는 독일 개신교 루터파 바이에른 노회가 편찬한 "경험과 관련된 종교 수업 준비(Religionsunterricht Vorbereiten)" 과정을 살펴보고, 한국교회에 적용하기 위한 과제들을 제시하고자 한다. 경험과 관련된 종교 수업 준비는 다섯 과정으로 이루어진다. 개인적인 만남, 신학적 방향 설정, 교수학적 방향 설정, 교수학적 결정들, 진행계획 정리이다. 이 과정의 주요 목적은 성서의 신앙인들이 자기 삶의 경험을 신앙의 관점에서 어떻게 해석하고 문제를 극복하고자 하였는지 '바라보는 관점'을 학습하는 것이다. 경험과 관련된 신앙교육은 성서 교수법 중 하나가 아니라 신앙교육의 본질을 다루고 있다. 교육의 장이 현실 세계에서 가상세계까지 확장해가는 사회 변화 속에 있지만, 신앙교육의 본질적인 성격은 바뀔 수 없다. 그러므로 한국교회에 경험과 관련된 신앙교육에 관한 연구와 적용은 성서의 메시지가 그리스도인의 삶에 구현될 수 있도록 도울 수 있을 것이다.

장애인치과학 수업 전후의 치의학 전문대학원 학생들의 장애인에 대한 인식 변화 연구 (STUDENT ATTITUDES TOWARD PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES : A COMPARISON BETWEEN BEFORE AND AFTER CLASS OF SPECIAL CARE DENTISTRY)

  • Patients with disabilities are a significant segment of Korea population. However, they encounter more challenges when seeking dental care. So, dentists and students who are future dental providers should have a responsibility to provide oral care services for them. In this study, we hypothesize that the education of special care dentistry may influence positive attitudes of the disabled. The attitudes are influenced by demographic variables such as gender, religion, experience of volunteer activities and marital status. Therefore, the objective of this study was to explore the change of attitudes of students towards people with disabilities between before and after class of special care dentistry. 72 students enrolled at the Kyung Hee University were surveyed. All participants attended class of Special Care dentistry in the third grade. The survey was conducted two times, just before class and after class. The attitudes of students were assessed using the well-documented ATDP (Attitude Toward Disabled Person)-O(Original) scale and MAS (Multidimensional Attitudes Scales Toward Persons with Disabilities) scale through the methodology of questionnaires. The results indicated that gender, experience of volunteer activities and marital status did not affect their ATDP and MAS score. In religious affiliation, only, there were statistically significant difference in student attitudes between before and after class of Special care dentistry. It means that habitual religious activity may offer stronger effects on student's attitude than short-term education. Therefore, long-term and specific educational experiences are needed to promote positive attitudes for people with disability.

간호사의 생명의료윤리에 대한 의식 (The Perception of Biomedical Ethics in Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was to describe the perception of biomedical ethics in 210 nurses working at a hospital in Busan. Method: Data were collected from September 1st to 9th, 2008 using a 4-point Likert scale which was designed by Kwon. Results: The average score of perception of biomedical ethics was $2.88{\pm}0.22$. The highest score, $3.13{\pm}0.35$, was seen in the category of the ethics for right to life, the lowest, $2.49{\pm}0.33$, was seen in the category of ethics of death. There was no significant difference in perception of biomedical ethics according to marital status, participation in religious activity or career length. There was a significant difference in reproductive ethics according to marital status (F=3.559, p= .001) and participation in religious activity (F=3.914, p= .011). There was a significant difference in ethics of death according to career length (F=3.779, p= .011). Statistically significant differences were shown in ethics for right to life according to the ethical values (F=4.421, p= .005) and attendance of a conference for biomedical ethics (F=4.133, p= .018). The difference of the perception of biomedical ethics was significant in ethical values (F=3.859, p= .010) and attendance of a conference for biomedical ethics (F=3.783, p= .025). Conclusion: Continuing educational programs need to be developed and more reinforced education should be offered.

훌륭한 의사를 기르는 인적환경 - 사례에서 구조까지 - (Human Environment for being a Great doctor - from case to construction -)

  • Purpose How can be a great doctor with excellence and ethics? In this study, I wanted to find out the characteristics of human environment to make a great doctor. Methods: First, I researched factors and construct of the human environment. So I conceived a model for analyzing human environment with two construction model : Howard Gardner's System Model and Bron-fenbrenner's ecological systems model. Second, I analyzed the life of the Oliver R. Evison M.D. and Ki Ryu Jang M.D. Oliver R. Evison was the pioneer of medicine of Korea and establisher of the Severance Hospital and medical college. Dr KiRyu Jang, who was called 'Schweitzer of Korea', was a good doctor of the poor and weak patients in Korea. Third, I tried to find out a new human environment model to make a great doctor. Results One model for analyzing human environment was made of relationship based on emotion. relationship teaching knowledge and skill, and relationship communicating on value. In the light of analyzing of two great doctors. Oliver R. Evison M.D. and KiRyu Jang M.D, I found out special interrelationship, Hardie, Allen, Severance for Evison, Kyosin Kim, Kyucheol Choi etc. for Ki Ryu Jang These special people were religious actors or social thinkers. Conclusions: To be a great doctor to excel and innovate medical field, medical students should have the chance to meet with people based on religious, ethical and social action, discuss on value across social fields, and can construct the idea to make and realize higher value of medical action. In sum, another important human environment for medical students would be a person who could be communicate with true value.

AI시대의 영성적 가르침에 관한 연구 : "관상적 가르침"을 중심으로 (A Study on Spiritual Teaching in the Age of AI : Focused on "Contemplative Pedagogy")

  • 본고는 객관주의적 지식이 편만한 AI 시대에, 인간의 내면을 형성하는 영성적 가르침의 필요성과 가능성을 "관상적 가르침(contemplative pedagogy)"을 중심으로 탐구한 논문이다. 이를 위하여 본 고는 먼저 AI의 객관적 인식론의 특성과 AI 시대 학교교육의 방향을 고찰하고, AI 시대의 시대적 요청으로서의 영성 및 영성적 가르침의 필요성과 성격을 탐구하였으며, 이를 실제적으로 실천하고 있는 관상적 가르침을 통해서 일반학교 에서의 영성적 가르침의 실현 가능성을 탐색하였다. 연구 결과 본고는 영성적 가르침이 종교학이나 신학과 같은 특정 영역만의 전유물이 아니라, 3인칭의 지식이 편만한 오늘과 같은 시대에 모든 학교와 교육의 현장에서 구현되어야 할 가르침이라고 하는 것과, "관상적 가르침"이야말로 대표적 영성적 가르침의 하나라고 하는 것을 발견하였다. 더 나아가 본고는 추후적으로 관상적 가르침 외에도 다양한 영성적 가르침의 모델들이 개발되고 실천될 필요성이 있다는 것 또한 발견하였다.

여고생의 의복 흥미도에 관한 조사 연구 (A Study on Clothing Interests of High School Girls)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide some information for the proper education on clothing wearing habits so that the education may be performed in the direction of social needs according to the social change and in the direction of the needs and interest of the high school girl students in their adolescence by being conscious of the influence of clothing on the high school girl students. I have used questionaire as an instrument of measurement. The length of the time of survey is from February 11, 1991 to February 28. The subjects are 544 first grade girl students of general high schools in Cheong-Ju, Choong-Ju, and Je-Cheon. The analysis of the data includes frequency, percentage, average person's Correlation Program, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test. The conclusion of this study is as follows: The first, it is shown that (l)students's interest in the design and fashion of clothing is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such and the education level of their fathers, the education level of their mothers, monthly income of their homes, the clothing habits of their home economics teachers, the subjects which they are interested in, their average scholoary achievements, their religious background, and whether they have boy friends or not, etd. (2)students' interest in purchasing of clothing is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such as the education level of their fathers, the education level of their mothers, monthly income of their homes, the clothing habits of their home economics teachers, the subjects which they are interested in, their average scholoary achievements, and whether they have boy friends or not, etc. (3)students' interest in the social-psyclological aspect is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such as their living area, the clothing habits of their home economics teachers, etc. (4)students' interest in the clothing construction is significantly related to only the clothing habits of their home economics teachersl. (5)students' interest in the clothing management is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such as the education level of their parents, the age of their mothers, their religious background, and their sisters. The second, as for the interest of the high school girl students in clothing, it has been shown that those who wear school uniforms tend to have more interest than those who wear free-choice clothes in such areas as shopping, the construction, and management. As for the other two areas, that is, disign and fashion, and the interest in socio-psychological dependence there has been little meaningful difference between the two groups, while the uniform group has shown more interest than the other group. The third, the interest of hish school students in clothing is considered to be most seriously influenced by their socio-psychological dependence out of five areas of interest. It has been shown that the proportion of the content dealing with clothing wearing life in the high school home economics texbooks in relatively small, especially in such areas as socio-psychological dependence, shopping, management, and design and fashion except in construcion.
