추천 시스템의 예측 정확도 향상을 위한 고객 평가정보의 신뢰도 활용법 (Applying Rating Score's Reliability of Customers to Enhance Prediction Accuracy in Recommender System)

  • 인터넷에서 고객들에 의해 생성된 평가정보는 해당 상품에 대한 고객별 선호도 정보로도 간주할 수 있기 때문에 개인화 추천을 위한 고객 프로필 생성에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다. 하지만, 온라인에서의 상품평가는 누구나 작성할 수 있고, 왜곡된 목적으로 가지고 평가 행위를 하는 경우도 많아 평가정보의 신뢰도 편차가 크다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 상품에 부여된 평가정보 자체의 신뢰도를 측정하고 이를 추천시스템의 고객 프로필 생성 과정에 선별적으로 반영하는 방법론을 제안하고자 한다. 몇몇 추천 시스템 관련 연구에서 평가정보 작성자 수준에서 신뢰도를 측정하고 이를 활용하려 했던 것과 달리 본 연구에서는 개별 평가 정보 수준에서 신뢰도를 측정한다. 실험 결과 신뢰도가 일정수준 이상의 신뢰도를 갖는 평가정보만을 선별하여 고객 프로필을 생성할 경우 추천 시스템의 선호도 예측 정확도가 향상되는 것으로 나타났다.

Reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Dental Fear Survey

  • Background: Many people experience varying levels of discomfort when confronted with the prospect of dental treatment. Dental treatment can be a traumatic experience, especially for children and adolescents with dental anxiety. In this age group, dental fear causes a significant problem in dental management and has been related to severe dental caries and dental pain. The Dental Fear Survey (DFS) is the most widely used measure of dental fear. This study was undertaken to develop the Korean version of the DFS (K-DFS) and test its reliability and validity. Methods: The K-DFS, which uses projective techniques to measure children's and adolescents' dental fear, was developed. The DFS was translated into Korean and participants were selected via convenience sampling. Reliability and validity were tested using data from a sample of 813 middle school students in Gyeonggi Province, selected from the Self questionnaire survey. The K-DFS was administered twice to 102 adolescents aged 12-15 years. Results: The K-DFS had high internal consistency reliability (99.1%) but low test-retest reliability. Conclusions: The results indicate that the Korean versions of the DFS have good internal consistency reliabilities and test-retest validities. However, we need to further examine the test-retest reliability of the K-DFS and replicate the current study in different samples covering various age groups.

Assessing Reliability and Validity of an Instrument for Measuring Resilience Safety Culture in Sociotechnical Systems

  • Background: Safety culture, acting as the oil necessary in an efficient safety management system, has its own weaknesses in the current conceptualization and utilization in practice. As a new approach, resilience safety culture (RSC) has been proposed to reduce these weaknesses and improve safety culture; however, it requires a valid and reliable instrument to be measured. This study aimed at evaluating the reliability and validity of such an instrument in measuring the RSC in sociotechnical systems. Methods: The researchers designed an instrument based on resilience engineering principles and safety culture as the first instrument to measure the RSC. The RSC instrument was distributed among 354 staff members from 12 units of an anonymous petrochemical plant through hand delivery. Content validity, confirmatory, and exploratory factor analysis were used to examine the construct validity, and Cronbach alpha and test-retest were employed to examine the reliability of the instrument. Results: The results of the content validity index and content validity ratio were calculated as 0.97 and 0.83, respectively. The explanatory factor analysis showed 14 factors with 68.29% total variance and 0.88 Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin index. The results were also confirmed with confirmatory factor analysis (relative Chi-square = 2453.49, Root Mean Square Error of Approximation = 0.04). The reliability of the RSC instrument, as measured by internal consistency, was found to be satisfactory (Cronbach ${\alpha}=0.94$). The results of test-retest reliability was r = 0.85, p < 0.001. Conclusion: The results of the study suggest that the measure shows acceptable validity and reliability.

Reliability and Validity of Balancia 2.5 Program Using Wii Balance Board for Assessment of Static Balance Ability

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to find out the reliability and validity of the newly updated Balancia 2.5 program using Wii balance board through equipment that can measure center of pressure data with the precision. Design: Cross-sectional study Methods: Twenty-seven healthy adults participated in the study. The subjects were assessed for static balance ability by Accusway, and were assessed for static balance ability on Wii balance board connected to theBalancia 2.5 program.To limit postural fluctuations due to stare, the subjects were asked to look at a 15 cm dot drawn 3 m in front of them for 30 seconds with their eyes open. Static balance ability data such as path length and sway velocity were extracted from all measurement tools.Intra-rater and inter-rater reliability and validity were extracted through intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and 95% confidence interval (CI). Results: The intra-rater reliability that the same rater shows consistent results through test-retest was a high level at ICC=0.968 (0.926~0.986), and inter-rater reliability that the requires consistent results even when measured by different raters was a high level at ICC=0.943 (0.870~0.975). The validity was a high level at ICC=0.948 (0.881~0.977), which shows whether the measurement tool is properly measuring what it is intended to measure. Conclusions: The Balancia 2.5 program, newly updated through this study, proved to be a program with high reliability and validity in evaluating static balance ability like the existingBalancia 2.0 program.

HSPDA모형과 거리척도방법을 이용한 상수관망의 신뢰성분석 (Estimating the Reliability of Water Distribution Systems Using HSPDA Model and Distance Measure Method)

  • '위상적 평가'와 '수리학적 평가'를 통해 수요절점에서 필요한 수량을 필요한 압력으로 충분히 공급할 수 있는지의 여부를 정량화하고 이를 신뢰성의 산정을 위한 기준으로 사용하는 것은 대표적인 상수관망시스템의 신뢰성산정 방법이다. 하지만 '수리학적 평가'를 이용한 수요절점에서의 압력확보 여부를 신뢰성 산정에 사용한 기존의 연구들은 'Demand-Driven Analysis의 사용'과 '사용성의 미고려'라는 두 가지 측면에 있어서 문제가 있다. 또한 비정상상태인 상수관망시스템의 수리모의 적합한 Pressure-Driven Analysis를 이용한 연구들도 신뢰성 산정에 있어 가능공급량만을 고려하고 사용성을 고려하지 않아, Pressure-Driven Analysis의 장점이 효율적으로 사용되지 않은 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기 개발 된 Pressure-Driven Analysis 모형인 HSPDA모형과, 거리척도 방법을 이용하여 수량과 수압을 동시에 고려하는 신뢰성 분석기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 기법을 상수관망에 적용하여 기존의 연구결과와 비교하였고 이를 바탕으로 수립 가능한 신뢰성 확보방안을 제시하였다.

정신장애인에 대한 Brief Symptom Inventory-18의 신뢰도와 타당도에 관한 연구 (Examining Psychometric Properties of the Brief Symptom Inventory(BSI-18) in Korean People with Mental Disorders)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내에서 단축형 간이정신진단검사(Brief Symptom Inventory-18, BSI-18)가 정신장애인의 정신과적 증상을 평가하고 치료 개입의 성과를 측정하는 도구로 활용될 수 있도록 타당도와 신뢰도를 검정하는 것이었다. BSI-18은 BSI-53의 축소버전으로 임상 현장에서 효과적인 개입을 위해 정신과적 증상을 확인하고 진단하며, 치료프로그램의 성과로서 증상변화를 측정하기 위해 개발된 도구이다. 본 연구에서는 정신장애인 180명을 대상으로 하여 첫째, BSI-18 전체 문항과 하위요인에 대한 내적일치도 및 검사-재검사 반복측정을 통해 신뢰도를 파악하였으며, 둘째, 확인적 요인분석을 실시하여 해당구성개념의 요인구조를 확인하였으며, 셋째, BSI-18의 우울 점수와 대표적인 우울척도인 BDI, CES-D 20의 우울 점수 간에 상관관계를 검토하여 준거 타당도를 살펴보았다. 연구의 주된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, BSI-18 전체 문항과 하위요인 등의 검사-재검사 반복측정 결과 선행연구들과 유사한 높은 수준의 반복측정 신뢰도 및 내적일관성을 보여주었다. 둘째, 확인적 요인분석 결과 정신장애인을 대상으로 BSI-18은 3요인 모형이 가장 자료에 부합하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, BSI-18의 우울증상은 BDI, CES-D 20과 유의한 정적상관관계가 나타나 준거 타당도가 확보되었다. 이러한 결과들에 대한 연구함의를 논의하여 제시하였다.

전문직 간 태도에 대한 한국어판 측정도구의 타당화 연구 (A Validity Study of the Korean Version of the Interprofessional Attitudes Scale)

  • Concern for patient safety underlies the need for interprofessional education (IPE). One way to measure the effectiveness of IPE is by measuring attitude change toward other healthcare professionals; however, there are currently no valid Korean tools to measure such a change in attitudes. Therefore, this study aims to develop and test a Korean version of the Interprofessional Attitudes Scale (IPAS). The original IPAS was translated into Korean according to the World Health Organization's guidelines after obtaining permission from the article's corresponding author. A total of 414 questionnaires were collected from third- and fourth-year medical and nursing students at four Korean institutions in December 2018. To analyze the validity of the Korean IPAS, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were conducted. Cronbach's α was used to evaluate reliability. Results from the exploratory factor analysis identified four functions: teamwork, community-centeredness, patient-centeredness, and respect for diversity. Significant cross-correlations were found among the four functions (r=0.438-0.631, p<0.001) along with overall reliability (Cronbach's α=0.929) and reliability of each subfactor (Cronbach's α=0.804-0.897). This study verified the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the IPAS, so this scale can be used in the future to measure the effectiveness of IPE in Korea.

  • The need to increase the reliability of a structural system has been significantly brought in the procedure of real designs to consider, for instance, the material properties or geometric dimensions that reveal a random or incompletely known nature. Reliability based design optimization of a real system now becomes an emerging technique to achieve reliability, robustness and safety of these problems. Finite element analysis program and the reliability analysis program are necessary to evaluate the responses and the probabilities of failure of the system, respectively. Moreover, integration of these programs is required during the procedure of reliability based design optimization. It is well known that reliability based design optimization can often have so many local minima that it cannot converge to the specified probability of failure. To overcome this problem, barrier function method in reliability based design optimization is suggested. To illustrate the proposed formulation, reliability based design optimization of a bracket is performed. AMV and FORM are employed for reliability analysis and their optimization results are compared based on the accuracy and efficiency.

  • 1. Objectives This study focuses on the reliability of the Questionnaire about Sasang Constitution Classification for Mongolians 2. Methods Test-retest method and internal consistency method have been performed based on the absolutely diagnosed group of 87 cases who respond to the questionaries during the time interval of one yeat between July 2003 and July 2004 to verify the confidence level. 3. Results and Conclusions (1) In the test-retest for each question of the Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution Classification for Mongolians, the dependency ratio is 40% and the agreement ratio is 92%. Therefore, this questionnaire has credibility because it has question relations and high agreement ratio. (2) In the internal consistency method for the measure of the Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution Classification for Mongolians, the value of Cronbach alpha is mote than 0.60. As a result, this questionnaire has internal consistency for each question which explains each physical constitution and it has credibility (3) In the internal consistency method for the measure of the Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution Classification for Mongolians, the Pearson's correlation coefficient, r, falls between $+0.38\;{\sim}\;+0.54$ in each measure. Accordingly, this questionnaire has internal consistency between each physical constitution measure and it has credibility.

  • 콘투어 맷칭을 위한 1차 유사도와 2차 유사도가 제안되었다. 그것들은 최소자승법에 의한 것이다. 특히 2차 유사도는 콘투어의 불완전함 혹은 어파인 변환 혹은 이들 특성의 결합같은 왜곡된 변화에 양호한 신뢰도를 가지고 있다는 사실을 비행기 기종의 판별과 인식하는 실험을 통하여 증명하였다. 또한 맷칭 성능에 있어서 2차 유사도가 1차 유사도뿐만 아니라 기존의 맷칭기법들보다 우수함을 보였다.
