철도차량의 신뢰성관리 유지보수 활성화 방안 (Reliability management maintenance of Rolling stock and its activation plan)

  • This paper presents an activation plan for reliability centered maintenance (RCM) of rolling stock. The KTX is carrying out the maintenance in compliance with RCM. MKBSF, that is one of the reliability indices for KTX, is shown 183,483 km in 2009, whereas it is shown 68,986 km in 2004. It means that the reliability of KTX has been growing every year. It also is result of reliability management activities. KORAIL did not apply RCM until now about the conventional rolling stocks. But KORAIL decided that applies RCM system because of reliability management effect of KTX. In this study, we tried to know an activation plan for the reliability centered maintenance of the conventional rolling stocks.

  • Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM) was initially developed for the commercial aviation industry in the late 1960s and now is equally applicable to a variety of equipment other than aircraft. RCM is a method for establishing a preventive maintenance program which will efficiently and effectively allow the achivement of the the required safety and availability levels of equipment and structures. RCM provides for the use of a decision logic tree to identify applicable and effective preventive maintenance requirements for equipment and structures according to the safety, maintenance requirements for equipment and structures according to the safety, operational and economic consequences of identifiable failures, and the degradation mechanism, reponsible for the those failures. The end result of working through the decision logic is a judgement as to the necessity of performing a maintenance task. In this paper, we provide guiding principles based on IEC 60300-3-11 for RCM analysis methods and operational method of structure and equipment.

  • The mechanical endurance is the critical characteristic of Magnetic contactors (MCs), which are widely used in such industrial equipments as elevators, cranes, and factory control rooms in order to close and open the control circuit. Testing time, however, is so long in most cases that some method of reducing the testing period is required. Therefore, the degradation test by the detected vibration of MCs is developed to reduce the testing time in this work. The degradation test data are analyzed and the prediction model is provided. Also, the possibility of this technology for Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) will be shown. This will reduce the period of the product development and raise the reliability of the equipment in power distribution.

  • RCM developed by American air industry in early 1960, its process is most realistic for some physical assets and it permits the system to maintain given function status through decision of demand about optimum maintenance. Therefore, many industries have selected RCM technique and have carried out RCM in order to solve many problems concerning maintenance management as improvement of reliability and availability of facilities, removal of hazard element about break down and retrenchment of maintenance cost. Through the execution of RCM, we can solve actual problems. And finally we will be able to develop more and more maintenance activities with RCM notion. In this study, we will consider the application of KTX-RCM which is set up with basic theory of RCM and constructed to improve vehicle safety, availability and regularity of KTX, linking with CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management System).

  • 본 논문에서는 한국형 틸팅열차의 유지보수 활동을 위해 신뢰성기반유지보수체계를 제안하였다. 열차시스템을 3단계의 교체 부품 단위로 분류하고, 각 단위에 대해 기능블록도를 작성한 후 고장모드 영향 분석을 실시하였다. 각 단위의 심각도를 결정한 후 유지보수 정책을 제안하였으며, 틸팅열차를 위한 유지보수 기준을 정하고, 실제 사례를 제시하였다. 제안된 신뢰성기반유지보수체계는 기존 유지보수 체계와도 호환성을 갖고 있으며, 안전성 향상과 유지보수 활동 효율화에 기여할 수 있다.In this paper, a reliability centered maintenance (RCM) system is proposed to perform maintenance action for Korean Tilting Train. The train system was divided into line replaceable units up to three steps. Functional block diagrams were drawn and failure mode effect analysis for the units was carried out. The criticality of each unit was determined and a maintenance policy was proposed. Maintenance and repair criteria for the tilting train were determined and an example was presented. The proposed RCM system is compatible with the previous maintenance system and contributes to improvement of safety and efficiency of maintenance action.

  • This paper presents application of RCM(Reliability Centered Maintenance) in waterworks system. The reliability-based probability model for predicting the failure probability is established and FTA(Fault Tree Analysis) is proposed to considering RCM. To calculate failure probability, Weibull distribution is usually used due to age related reliability. FTA is an engineering analysis which is using logic symbols. The real historical data of CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management System) make full use of case study for waterworks system. Consequently, the RCM would be likely to permit utilities to reduce overall costs in maintenance and improve the total benefit.

  • 본 논문은 신뢰도 기반 유지보수(RCM : Reliability-Centered Maintenance) 계획에 의한 발전설비의 유지보수주기를 평가하고 있다. 유지보수주기는 발전설비의 안정성 및 비용을 결정하기 위한 기준으로 활용된다. 본 논문에서는 설비 수명평가를 통해 확률분포를 이용한 확률론적 FMECA(Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis)에 대해 논하고, 국내 발전 설비 중 비교적 평균수명이 짧은 복합화력 발전소를 선정하여 유지보수 주기를 평가하였다. 발전소 유지보수 평가는 향후 구조 개편된 전력시장에서 유지보수계획 수립 방법의 유용한 지표로 활용 가능할 것이다.

  • Wind power is one of the fastest growing renewable energy sources. In these days, wind turbine shifts from onshore to offshore because the offshore wind farm has a abundant wind resource. However, offshore wind turbine is not easy to access, it has a long downtime when the failures of the wind turbine component occur. Therefore, the appropriate wind turbine maintenance plan is required to meet the economic and reliability of the components. This paper proposes the maintenance planning method based on the RCM(Reliability Centered Maintenance) to determine an economical maintenance cycle to satisfy the appropriate reliability of the wind turbine components. In order to compare the proposed method with the conventional RCM method, critical components are selected in the case study because they have a long downtime and a large amount of total cost.

  • RCM(Reliability-centered Maintenance)은 유지 보수하고자 하는 기기에 대하여 시스템의 신뢰도와 안정성 및 경제적 측면을 고려하여 적용 가능하고 효율적인 유지보수 기법을 논리적으로 선택하는 기법이다. RCM은 이미 항고우주산업이나 원자력발전산업과 같은 곳에 적용되어 사용되고 있으며 전력설비 분야에도 도입되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 RCM 기법을 적응하여 개발 중인 당사의 전력설비관리 시스템에 대하여 그 구성 및 기능 등의 시스템 설계에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

  • 최근 도입되고 있는 RCM(Reliability-centered Maintenance)은 전력 설비의 특성과 운용 환경에 따른 신뢰성 분석을 통해 설비의 목표 신뢰도를 유지하기 위한 가장 효율적이고 경제적인 유지보수 방법을 결정 하는 방법론이다. 본 논문에서는 전력 설비의 감시, 분석 및 진단 데이터를 데이터베이스로 구축하고 RCM 기법을 바탕으로 유지보수 방법을 제시하는 전력설비관리 시스템의 구성과 기능을 기술한다.
