The robust output tracking control problem of general nonlinear MIMO systems is discussed. The robustness against parameter uncertainties is considered. In this paper, we proposed the robust output tracking control scheme for a class of MIMO nonlinear dynamical systems using output feedback linearization method. The presented control scheme is based on the VSS. We assume that the nonlinear dynamical system is minimum phase, the relative degree of the system is r$_{1}$＋r$_{2}$＋…r$_{m}$$\leq$ n and zero dynamics is stable. It is shown that the outputs of the closed-loop system asymptotically track given output trajectories despite the uncertainties while maintaining the boundedness of all signals inside the loop. And we verified that the proposed control scheme is then applied to the control of a two degree of freedom (DOF) robotic manipulator with payload.d.

Recently, IPTV attracts great attention along with the digital convergence of communication and media technologies. This study examined critical factors on the consumer's continued use of the IPTV service. Based on the expectation-confirmation theory and the innovation diffusion theory, we derived nine key factors in the research model-relative advantage, compatibility, ease of use, image, diversity of contents, interactivity, monetary value, social influence, and user satisfaction. Using the partial least square method, we found that content diversity and compatibility have a significant indirect effect on the continued use of the IPTV service via user satisfaction, and user satisfaction and social influence also have a significant direct impact on the IPTV use. These findings not only provide practical insights on the consumer acceptance of new technology-converging services, but also help managers to plan their marketing strategies better.

The pseudolattice calculations in the CNDO/2 level of approximation are carried out for polymeric beryllium hydride, polyethylene and polymeric boron hydride. Since there is no evidence on the geometry for polymeric boron hydride, the two possible geometries are assumed. One is a polyethylene-type geometry and the other is a polymeric beryllium hydride-type geometry. In order to compare their relative stability, we calculate polyethylene and polymeric beryllium hydride and then compare with polymeric boron hydride having the assumed structures. The total energy calculation indicates that a polymeric beryllium bydride-type geometry is more stable than a polyethylene-type geometry. Our results obtained for polyethylene are in good agreement with those given by CNDO/2 crystal orbital. From the convergence problem with respect to the number of unit cells (M), the calculation with value of 4 for M can be considered to give the convergence limit results.

This paper intends to introduce a near-tip grid refinement and to explore its usefulness in the crack analysis by the natural element method (NEM). As a sort of local h-refinement in FEM, a NEM grid is locally refined around the crack tip showing the high stress singularity. This local grid refinement is completed in two steps in which grid points are added and Delaunay triangles sharing the crack tip node are divided. A plane-state plate with symmetric edge cracks is simulated to validate the proposed local grid refinement and to examine its usefulness in the crack analysis. The crack analysis is also simulated using a uniform NEM grid for the sake of comparison. The near-tip stress distributions and SIFs that are obtained using a near-tip refined NEM grid are compared with the exact values and those obtained using uniform NEM grid. The convergence rates of global relative error to the total number of grid points between the refined and non-refined NEM grids are also compared.

라인 해석법(Method of Line), MOL과 파수 영역 해석법(Space Domain Approach), SDA를 결합한 공간-파수 영역 해석법(SSDA)를 이용하여 MIC/MMIC 회로에서 임의 입체 구조를 갖는 공진기를 해석한다. SSDA는 상대 수렴(relative convergence)특성을 갖지 않으며, 반 해석적 (semianalytical )특성으로 수치적 효율이 높다. 경계치 문제로부터 씨스팀 행렬방정식 형태로 유도된그린 함수에 갤러킨법을 적용한다. 삼각, 사각 및 불연속 구조를 갖는 스트립 패치의 폭, 위치와 기판의 두께 변화에 따른 공진 주파수를 계산하였다.

In this paper, we propose an iterative mixed norm image restoration algorithm using multi regularization parameters. A functional which combines the regularized l$_2$ norm functional and the regularized l$_4$ functional is proposed. The smoothness of each functional is determined by the regularization parameters. Also, a regularization parameter is used to determine the relative importance between the regularized l$_2$ functional and the regularized l$_4$ functional. An iterative algorithm is utilized for obtaining a solution and its convergence is analyzed.

A non-parametric procedure is presented for testing exponentially against used better than aged in convex ordering class (UBAC) of life distributions based on u-test. Convergence of the proposed statistic to the normal distribution is proved. Selected critical values are tabulated for sample sizes 5(5)40. The Pitman asymptotic relative efficiency of my proposed test to tests of other classes is studied. An example of 40 patients suffering from blood cancer disease demonstrates practical application of the proposed test.

A hybrid method solving regularized structured linear total least norm (RSTLN) problems, which have highly ill-conditioned coefficient matrix with special structures, is suggested and analyzed. This scheme combining RSTLN algorithm and separation by parts guarantees the convergence of parameters and has an advantages in reducing the residual norm and relative error of solutions. Computational tests for problems arisen in signal processing and image formation process confirm that the presenting method is effective for more accurate solutions to (R)STLN problem than the (R)STLN algorithm.

비모수적 커널 회귀함수 추정법에서 평활량(bandwidth of smoothing parameter)의 선택은 아주 중요한 문제이다. 교차타당성(cross-validation) 방법에 의한 평활량은 최적평활량으로의 상대적 수렴속도(relative convergence rate)가 $n^{-1/10}$로 상당히 느리다는 것을 알고 있다. 본 연구는 삽입방법(plug-in method)에 의해 선택된 평활량의 상대적 수렴속도가 교차타당성 방법보다 더 빠른 $n^{-2/7}$이 됨을 보였다. 그리고 모의실험을 통하여 소 표본에서도 삽입방법이 교차타당성 방법보다 우수함을 입증하였다.

This paper provides in-depth analysis of internal and external factors that are important to food retailers' international market expansion, presenting Carrefour as a case. Nine sources of risks inherent in international retail market operation are explored and examined which are critical for Carrefour's international expansion. Key financial ratios of Du Pont System are used to assess Carrefour's performance in local market and relative to competitors. Carrefour's competitive advantages are also explored and compared with Wal-Mart, its major competitor in the international expansion.
