  • Y2O3 thin films were deposited by reactive sputtering of Y target in Ar and O2 gas mixture. Residual stress was measrued by sin2$\psi$ method of x-ray diffraction (XRD) and growth orientation was examined by measuring the relative intensity of (400) plane and (222) plane of Y2O3 films. In the case that Y2O3 films were deposited at 40$0^{\circ}C$ and at low working pressure below 0.05 torr the film had large compressive stress and (111) plane orientation. At working pressure of about 0.10 torr the film had small compressive stress and (100) orientation. Above working pressure of 0.20 torr, the films had nearly zero stress and random orientation. In the case that the (111) oriented film deposited at low working pressure below 0.05 torr, as substrate temperature decreased, (111) orientation increased. In the case the film, with (100) orientation, deposited at working pressure of about 0.10 torr, (100) orientation increased with decresing substrate temperature. These relationship of residual stress and growth orientation can be explained by the relationship of surface energy and strain energy.

  • This paper describes a control scheme for a robot manipulator system which uses visual information to position and orientate the end-effector. In this scheme, the position and orientation of the target workpiece with respect to the base frame of the robot are assumed to be unknown, but the desired relative position and orientation of the end-effector to the target workpiece are given in advance. The control scheme directly integrates visual data into the servoing process without subdividing the process into determination of the position and orientation of the workpiece and inverse kinematics calculation. A neural network system is used for determining the change in joint angles required in order to achieve the desired position and orientation. The proposed system can be control the robot so that it approach the desired position and orientation from arbitrary initial ones. Simulation for the robot manipulator with six degrees of freedom will be done. The validity and the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme will be verified by computer simulations.

  • In this paper, a 3D position tracking algorithm for a moving objects using a stereo CCD cameras was proposed. This paper purposed the method to extract the coordinates of the moving objects. That is improve the operating and data processing efficiency. We were applied the relative orientation far the stereo CCD cameras and image coordinates extraction in the left and right images after the moving object segmentation. Also, it is decided on 3D position far moving objects using an acquired image coordinates in the left and right images. We were used independent relative orientation to decide the relative location and attitude of the stereo CCD cameras and RGB pixel values to segment the moving objects. To calculate the coordinates of the moving objects by space intersection. And, We conducted the experiment the system and compared the accuracy of the results.

  • This study verifies the direct and indirect causal relationship of sociocultural values related to appearance effect appearance evaluation, body area satisfaction, appearance orientation, and self-esteem that are variables involved in body images. This paper is expected to empirically support the information regarding the path and the relative influence among related-variables and their relational structures. A survey was conducted on 230 women from the ages of 20 to 29 who live in Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas. The data analysis was performed through programs such as AMOS 19.0 and SPSS 19.0 for Windows. The findings are as follows: First, Sociocultural values relating to appearance affect directly body image - appearance evaluation, body area satisfaction, and appearance orientation. Appearance evaluation and appearance orientation were influenced positively; however, body area satisfaction received egative effects. In addition, sociocultural values related to appearance exert relatively stronger influence on appearance orientation. Second, among body images, appearance evaluation and body area satisfaction directly effect self-esteem; however, appearance orientation did not show any direct influence. Appearance evaluation influenced relatively higher on self-esteem. Third, it appeared that appearance evaluation directly affected Appearance orientation. Forth, sociocultural values related to appearance affect self-esteem through body images-appearance evaluation, body area satisfaction, and appearance orientation - as mediators. This confirmed the mediator role of body image between sociocultural values related to appearance and self-esteem.

  • Fused deposition(FD) modeling by Stratasys Inc., is one of the material deposition subfamilies of solid freefrom fabrication(SFF) technologies. In this process, build material in the form of a flexible filament, is heated to a semi-liquid state and extruded from a controlled deposition head onto a fixtureless table in a temperature controlled environment. The position of nozzle is computer controlled relative to the base, which allows geometric complex models to be made to precise dimensions. FDM provide what the part was directly tested by the worker. It provide believable data. This Study is identify to surface roughness by build orientation adjustment. So, the paper is the study on surface roughness by build orientation at FDM.

  • This study has made photographing respectively by changing the photographic distance, converging angle, picturing direction by use of Rollei d7 metric and d7 $metric^{5}$ that is a measurement digital camera. And also in order to minimize the errors happened at the relative orientation, we have sorted out the round target that the relative orientation is automatically on the programming and have calculated RMSE by carrying out the bundle adjustment. We think that such a study could be used as very important basic data necessary in deriving the optimal photographic conditions by the close-range digital photogrammetry and in judging such a degree.

  • Attenuation characteristics of AF/MA motions which involve high frequencies were investigated through pencil-lead fracture tests on a fine-grained granite specimen. For the study, calibrated six transducers were employed to detect the signals and the pencil-lead was fractured as a step unloading force to generate AE/MA signals. The arnplitude AE/MA waves is affected by the relative orientation of source and transducer as well as the source distance. The attenuation constant for Charcoal granite is obtained as 1.058 which could be applied for a given ray-path regardless of the relative orientation of source and transducer.

  • This paper presents three-dimensional robot task using the vision control method. A minimum of two cameras is required to place points on end dffectors of n degree-of-freedom manipulators relative to other bodies. This is accomplished using a sequential estimation scheme that permits placement of these points in each of the two-dimensional image planes of monitoring cameras. Estimation model is developed based on a model that generalizes known three-axis manipulator kinematics to accommodate unknown relative camera position and orientation, etc. This model uses six uncertainty-of-view parameters estimated by the iteration method.

  • A novel laminated-hybrid-composite-beam (LHCB) of glass-epoxy infused with flyash and graphene is constructed for this study. The conventional mixture-rule and constitutive-relationship are modified to incorporate filler and lamina orientation. Eringen's non-local-theory is used to include the filler effect. Hamilton's principle based on fifth-order-layer-wise-shear-deformation-theory is applied to formulate the equation of motion. The analogous shear-spring-models for LHCB with multiple-cracks are employed in finite-element-analysis (FEA). Modal-experimentations are conducted (B&K-analyser) and the findings are compared with theoretical and FEA results. In terms of dimensionless relative-natural-frequencies (RNF), the dynamic-response in cantilevered support is investigated for various relative-crack-severities (RCSs) and relative-crack-positions (RCPs). The increase of RCS increases local-flexibility in LHCB thus reductions in RNFs are observed. RCP is found to play an important role, cracks present near the end-support cause an abrupt drop in RNFs. Further, multiple cracks are observed to enhance the nonlinearity of LHCB strength. Introduction of the first to third crack in an intact LHCB results drop of RNFs by 8%, 10%, and 11.5% correspondingly. Also, it is demonstrated that the RNF varies because of the lamina-orientation, and filler addition. For 0° lamina-orientation the RNF is maximum. Similarly, it is studied that the addition of graphene reduces weight and increases the stiffness of LHCB in contrast to the addition of flyash. Additionally, the response of LHCB to moving mass is accessed by appropriately modifying the numerical programs, and it is noted that the successive introduction of the first to ninth crack results in an approximately 40% to 120% increase in the dynamic-amplitude-ratio.
