The Impact of Emotional Leadership on Employees' Creativity: The Mediation Effect of Organizational Trust and Intrinsic Motivation (감성리더십이 조직원 창의성에 미치는 영향: 조직신뢰와 내재적동기의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediation effect of organizational trust and intrinsic motivation in the relationship between emotional leadership and creativity, suggesting the importance of organizational creativity. Therefore, this study conducted a survey for employees who are working at Korean ICT firms, analyzed the relationship with 241 valid samples, and verified hypotheses using PLS-SEM. The results are as follows. First, emotional leadership had a positive effect on organizational trust. Second, organizational trust had a positive effect on the intrinsic motivation of employees. Third, intrinsic motivation had a positive impact on employees' creativity. Fourth, the organizational trust did not have a positive effect on the creativity of employees. By verifying the mediation effects of organizational trust and intrinsic motivation, this study analyzed the relationship between emotional leadership and creativity, expanding the existing studies of the leadership.

  • Brands are important in the consumer market. They are the interface between consumers and the company. And consumers may develop loyalty to brands. Also, the late development of industrial marketing explains the near absence of research on brand equity in business to business. With recent change, Industrial companies have shifted from a production focus to a customer focus. Industrial brand is fast developing. The basic purpose of this study is to investigate industrial brand trust and loyalty affecting the result of business relationship between industrial buyers and suppliers. Factors hypothesized to influence trust in a brand include a number of brand characteristics, company characteristics and consumer-brand characteristics. This research presented a comprehensive constructive model consisting of components of industrial brand trust and loyalty, and then propose the research model base on prior researches and studies about relationships among components of industrial brand loyalty Data were gathered from respondents who work in industrial buying center. For this study, Data were analyzed by AMOS 4.0. The results of this research analysis were as fallow. Industrial brand trust and loyalty were positively related with a number of industrial brand characteristics, supplier characteristics and buyer-brand characteristics, relationship commitment. This research newly proposed the concept of industrial brand trust and loyalty affecting the result of business relationship between industrial buyers and suppliers.

The Influence of Perceived Organizational Justice on Innovation Resistance among Instructors in Sport Centers: The Mediating Effects of Organizational Trust (스포츠센터 지도자들의 조직공정성 인식이 혁신저항에 미치는 영향: 조직신뢰의 매개효과 분석)

  • This study investigated the effects of perceived organizational justice on innovation resistance among instructors in sport centers and examined the mediating effects of organizational trust on these relationships. Total 274 sport instructors participated in this study. The data were analyzed by structural equation modeling, and the results of this study were as follows: First, distributive justice had a negative effect on psychological resistance, while distributive justice had no significant effect on behavioral resistance. Second, procedural justice had a negative effect on psychological resistance and behavioral resistance. Third, both distributive justice and procedural justice had a positive effect on organizational trust. Fourth, organizational trust had a negative effect on psychological resistance and behavioral resistance. Fifth, organizational trust had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between distributive justice and psychological resistance and a full mediating effect on the relationship between distributive justice and behavioral resistance. Also, organizational trust had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between procedural justice and innovation resistance.

  • The Purposes of this study are to examine the relationship benefit perception of fashion product consumers and how their benefit perception influences oil long-term relationship intention, and to construct a model of long-term relationship intention. The data was obtained from a survey of 540 females over 20years old living in seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Gwangju-city during June in 2004. It was analyzed by frequency, reliability, factor analyses. The results of the survey were: 1 , Relationship benefits perceived by fashion product consumers were informational benefit, psychological benefit, special treatment benefit, economical benefit, and social benefit. 2. Relationship benefit influenced on satisfaction, trust, commitment, and commitment influenced on long-term relationship intention finally The findings of this study are expected to strengthen the necessity of applying customer relationship management for the fashion market.

  • The exponential growth of the Internet has been the advent of buying and selling products and services over the Internet. In Korea, electronic commerce including Internet commerce reached a ₩6,534 billion industry in the year 2002. This paper presents the importance of understanding and managing consumer trust to sellers succeed in Internet commerce. We tested a trust model that includes seller's trustworthiness-based factors and consumer's personality-based factors. We found that seller's trustworthiness-based factors lead to greater consumer trust in Internet shopping through the consumer's perceptions about integrity, benevolence, reputation, and size, but consumer's personality-based factors containing five traits, extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, openness, and trust propensity, have not a significant effect on consumer trust. We also confirmed a positive relationship between consumer trust in Internet shopping and consumer intention to buy.

  • Companies consider customers as an equity, which is expected to increase customer loyalty. However, customer loyalty does not linearly increase in real world by the customer equity always. This research investigates a mediating variable which influence the relationship between customer equity drivers and customer loyalty. We focus on customer value as a customer equity driver which is the most basic factor among customer equity drivers. We examine that online trust as a mediator between the customer value and customer loyalty in on online shopping mall context. Customer value consists of perceived convenience, quality, and price. Findings indicate that online trust mediates the relationship between customer value and customer loyalty. Especially, online trust perfectly mediates the perceived convenience and the perceived quality. The perceived convenience influences online trust most significantly and perceived quality and perceived price are following in the order of strength. Our results implicate that online trust is an important mediator of the relationship between customer equity and customer loyalty in online shopping mall context and need to be managed as a customer relationship management index to increase customer loyalty. In addition, perceived convenience is the most important factor to increase online trust in matured online market.

  • The Internet can provide benefits obtained from changing the structure of a business, such as emphasizing the importance of different types of personnel. In addition, the Internet alters the process for business activity, both within and outside the organization. Using structural equation modeling, I empirically test a number of hypothesized relationship based on a sample of 126 Internet Community users. The results are as follows: loyalty is significantly influenced by trust and relationship, repeat purchase is significantly influenced bye-loyalty. In addition, word of mouth is significantly influenced by e-loyalty.

  • The main purpose of this study is to empirically examine and to develop the optimal model about an influential relationship between the types of source-based trust and knowledge sharing of local government officials. Procedural and distributive justice-based calculative trust in organization, cognition-based trust in organization, cognition-based trust in supervisor, cognition-based trust in coworkers, and emotion-based trust in coworkers were set up as independent variables of this research model, and sharing of tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge based on the knowledge content as dependent variables. The research results shows that the suitability of each model has approximate value to the required level, and that emotion-based trust in coworkers significantly affects knowledge sharing for both the individual and integrated factors in hypothetical influential relationship. This study is expected to help to enable knowledge sharing in various situations by dividing the concepts of trust that affect knowledge sharing into a few types, and deriving the influential model of knowledge sharing by types.

The Relationship between the Perceived Mental Benefits, Online Trust, and Personal Information Disclosure in Online Shopping

  • The study examines the relationship between perceived mental benefits, online trust, and personal information disclosure when shopping online in Vietnam. The e-commerce market has been booming in Vietnam since 2015. The number of online transactions and e-commerce sites has increased steadily in recent years. However, the number of online sales in Vietnam is still not high, and consumers are still limited in buying from websites when they have to provide too much information during and after the shopping process. The mix-method is used to ensure the scientific nature of the study. Qualitative research method (phenomenological research) along with the quantitative research method (survey) are applied to meet the research objectives. The data in the study was collected through the group discussion with eight experts and the survey with 917 respondents. Data processing result via SmartPLS software indicate the positive relationships between the factors in the research. The perceived mental benefits have the most potent influence on the online trust of Vietnamese customers; at the same time, both the perceived mental benefits and online trust affect customers personal information disclosure in electronic commerce. Some managerial implications relating increasing the perceived mental benefits, and customers' online trust are proposed for online businesses.

  • Recently the environment of Korean business cultures has rapidly changed. Companies have their own images. They are Perceived among companies, so they are awarded as the important factors of the making relation. Especially the importance of corporate image was brought to the fore and it has been dealing with continuously and variously since 1990s. Previous empirical research has focused on the orientation of consumer in perceived company image. But the goal of this study is focused on the effects of the perceived image between corporations in trust and commitment of relationship. The results of this study perceived image were indicated to have an effect on trust. In addition, trust were also indicated to have an effect on commitment. C.E.O, Growth, Innovation image were indicated to have an effect on trust as the important factors.
