  • Purpose - Previous studies related to emotional labor of salespeople have mainly focused on identifying the antecedents of emotional exhaustion and turnover intention and exploring the mitigating effects salespeople's motivation on emotional exhaustion and turnover intention. They also demonstrates that there are different roles for moderating in social support, which means mental/physical support related to the job in supervisors, colleagues and organizations. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how service employees' surface acting affect turnover intention through emotional exhaustion. Another important objective of this paper is to investigate whether perceived social support moderates 1) the relationship between surface acting and emotional exhaustion 2) the relationship between emotional exhaustion and turnover intention. Research design, data, and methodology - To test the hypotheses, we collected the data from Korean insurance company sales employees. A total of 235 responses were received, from which 220 usable responses were obtained after list-wise deletion.     The moderating effect of perceived social support(PSS) on the relationship between emotion exhaustion and turnover intention. SPSS 22.0 and AMOS software were used in these data analysis. Results - The service employees' surface acting was positively related to the emotional exhaustion; in turn, the service employees' feelings on emotional exhaustion are positively related to turnover intention. In addition, Perceived Social Support significantly moderated the relationship between surface acting and emotional exhaustion. However, perceived social support has a non-significant moderating effect on the path from emotional exhaustion to turnover intention. On the basis of these results, the following conclusion can be drawn. First, distribution service companies will be needed the administrative efforts to offer counseling programs and space to provide their members with enough rest in experiencing psychological pain due to the salespeople's surface acting. Also, it is necessary for distribution service companies to identify and share the examples of successfully solving emotional exhaustion caused by salespeople's surface acting.

엘리트 운동선수들의 동기분위기 지각과 자기관리와의 관계 (The Relationship between a Motivational Climate and Self-management for Elite Athletes)

  • 본 연구는 선수들이 지각하는 동기분위기와 자기관리의 관계를 규명하기 위한 것이다. 대학과 실업팀에서 활동하고 있는 남자 195명, 여자 153명의 선수들을 대상으로 하였다. 우선 각 검사지의 신뢰도와 타당도를 확인하고, 이를 바탕으로 기술통계와 일원변량분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 상관관계분석결과 모든 요인 간에 유의한 상관이 있었다. 동기분위기 지각이 자기관리에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 선수들이 지각한 숙련분위기는 자기관리의 하위 요인인 정신관리, 훈련관리, 대인관리, 생활관리, 몸 관리, 고유 행동관리의 모든 요인에 정적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 경쟁분위기 지각은 자기관리에 영향을 주지 않았다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 지도자는 숙련분위기를 통하여 극복전략, 자기평가, 문제해결과 의사결정기술, 자기조절, 목표설정, 자기강화에 대한 노력, 계획 등 선수가 스스로를 보다 잘 관리하고 조절하게 하도록 해야 할 것을 제언하였다.

  • 지난 몇 년 간 정부의 대중소기업 동반성장을 위한 지속적인 노력에도 불구하고 그 실효성은 미미하였다. 또한 이를 해결하기 위한 학계의 현실적 정책대안 연구도 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 대중소기업의 지속적인 동반성장을 위한 실질적인 정책적 대안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 가장 협력이 요구되는 기술협력과 마케팅협력을 중심으로 대중소기업간 프로젝트 협력이 어떻게 이루어지는지 유형화하고, 이를 바탕으로 프로젝트협력의 유형별 특정을 분석 한 뒤, 한국의 현실과 향후의 정책과제를 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 통하여 위기에 처해있는 중소기업의 생존기반을 확보하고 동시에 대기업의 성장동력을 확보 할 수 있는 동반성장의 방향을 모색해 보고자 한다.

일부 기혼 치과위생사의 직장-가정갈등에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors affecting the conflict between work and family in some married dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting job satisfaction, job stress, turnover intention, work-family and family-work relationship of married dental hygienists with young children. Methods: 242 copies of self-reported questionnaires were analyzed. Statistical analysis of collected data was conducted using the statistical program of Stata 13.0 (StataCorp., College Station, TX, USA). Results: Turnover intention was higher when the child age was lower and the child support and parenting stress were higher. But when working hours were adjustable, the turnover intention was low. Job stress was higher as the position, monthly income and night working hours were higher. Job satisfaction was higher as night work was fewer, work time was adjustable and family life satisfaction was higher. When parenting stress was high, job satisfaction was low and job stress and turnover intention were high. Work-family relationships were more affected by lower monthly income and parents-first child caregivers. Workplace factors affecting the family life were monthly income, caregiver and number of night work. The higher the parenting stress, the greater the mutual influence between family and work life. Age, family life, parenting stress and turnover intention were identified to affect family-work relationship. Parenting stress and job stress were identified to be influential on work-family relationship. Conclusions: Married dental hygienists are leaving the clinical setting due to their marriage and childbirth, or showing the effects on family-work and work-family relationships due to parenting. Efforts should be made to efficiently utilize professional manpower and to improve the psychological and physical working environment surrounding the married dental hygienists.

치위생(학)과 학생의 치위생관리과정 수업몰입 영향요인 (Factors influencing class flow of dental hygiene students in dental hygiene care process)

  • Objectives: This study provides basic data for developing practical teaching methods enabling efficient execution of the dental hygiene care process. Methods: A total of 197 dental hygiene students experienced in dental hygiene care process in Gwangju and Jeonnam were surveyed from June 1 to August 30, 2019 to study their class flow, professors-student relationships, and class satisfaction level. Post survey, statistical analysis was performed using frequency analysis, independent t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Results: 1. Class fl ow was high in three lecturers (3.56), four hours per week (3.39), and four hours per week (3.94). Class satisfaction was high in three lecturers (3.99) and four hours per week (3.90) (p<0.05). 2. There was a positive correlation between class flow and professor-student relationship (r=0.519), class fl ow and class satisfaction (r=0.566), and professor-student relationship and class satisfaction (r=0.838) (p<0.01). 3. The factors influencing class fl ow were the number of lecturers (β=0.442), class hours per week (β=-0.397), and class satisfaction (β=0.385). Conclusions: Apart from finding ways to improve class satisfaction for class flow in the dental hygiene care process, efforts are required to increase the number of lecturers and class hours per week for efficient class management. Further research is needed to develop practical teaching methods.

구성원의 보상과 직무만족의 관계: 상사의 지원과 지각된 내적 공정성의 역할 탐색 (The Relationship between Compensation and Job Satisfaction: Exploring the Role of Supervisor Support and Perceived Internal Equity)

  • 본 연구는 기업 조직구성원에 대한 보상이 내적공정성과 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 보상의 요인은 내적 보상과 외적 보상의 두 하위차원으로, 내적 공정성은 분배공정성과 상호 작용 공정성으로 구분하였다. 이와 더불어 기업 구성원에 대한 보상이 상사의 지원에 따라 지각된 내적 공정성이 달라질 수 있는지 그 조절 효과를 분석하였다. 실증연구는 다양한 기업의 157명으로부터 획득된 자료를 활용하여 이루어졌다. 실증자료의 분석 결과, 외적 및 내적 보상은 직무만족, 지각된 내적 공정성, 상사의 지원에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 보상과 직무만족의 관계는 구성원의 심리적 영역인 내적 공정성의 지각을 통해 영향관계가 형성되고 있음이 나타났다. 한편 구성원에 대한 보상과 지각된 내적 공정성의 관계에서 상사의 지원은 조절역할을 하지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구에서는 보상관리의 중요성에 대한 인식을 바탕으로 보상의 공정성에 주목하여 개인간 상대적인 보상 차이에 대한 합리적인 논리와 메커니즘을 제공하여야 한다는 관리적 실천적 시사점을 제공하였다.

조선업 근로자의 근골격계질환 증상과 작업능력에 관한 연구 (A Study on Musculoskeletal Disorders Symptoms and the Work Ability of Shipbuilding Workers)

  • The statistics of industrial accident reported by ministry of Employment and Labor denoted a significant increase of musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) after 1993, and showed the higher incident rate by 71.3% over the overall worker's disorders. Also, it was expected that Korean society will become the post-aged society in 2026 with 20.8% of elderly who is over 65 years old. The reports suggest possible problems caused by the older worker known to have reduced working ability than the young counterparts. On this basis, the goal of this study was to investigate the relationship between MSDs symptoms and work ability in the shipbuilding industry. To achieve this goal, this study distributed a questionnaire for total 1,244 shipbuilding employers, and used 910 employers' reports which revealed validity for this study. The questionnaire included the MSDs symptoms report developed by the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Association(KOSHA) and the work ability index(WAI) developed by Finnish Institute of Occupational Health(FIOH). Results showed no relationship between MSDs symptoms and age, years of work and exercise. Also, the work ability was increased until 44 years old, but it was decreased after that time because of the reduced physical capacity. Meanwhile, the years of work and exercise have positive correlation with work ability. However, the results revealed significant relationships between WAI and age, years of work, task characteristics and exercise. All together, the MSDs symptoms have a close relationship with the work ability in that the work ability of workers with the MSDs symptoms was reduced. This study may suggest the needs of more efforts and attention on the MSDs prevention to increase the work ability.

중학생이 지각한 가족지지와 정신건강 (Perceived Family Support and Mental Health of Middle school students)

  • This study was conducted to identify the relationship between the perceived family support and mental health of middle school students and provide basic data to develop a nursing program for prevention of mental disease and mental health promotion in adolescent. The subjects for this study were 427 students in their first, second and third year of two middle school in K city. The data were collected from December 12th to 19th, 2001. The instruments used for this study were the family support scale by Kang and the mental health assessment scale was the Symptom Check List-90-R. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, ANOVA, and Duncan test with SPSS program. The results were as follows: The mean score of the perceived family support was 42.26 and the mean score of mental health was 52.24. As a subarea of mental health was analyses, the scores of obsessive-compulsive reaction and hostility were respectively higher but the scores of phobia were lower than others. Family support was significantly different according to student's grade, religion and economic status, and educational level, the relationship between them, and living in parents. the characteristic influence on the level of mental health were sex, grade, and economic status of students and the relationship between them of parents. There was a significant correlation between the perceived family support and the level of mental health was revealed a significant correlation(r=-.35(P=0.001)). In conclusion, this study was found that family support was an important factor for promoting mental health of middle school students. In order to increase mental health of middle school students effectively, family support must be increased. Efforts to promote mental health of students are required in home and school. School authorities have to search a plans like "family support-class program" as one countermeasure to increase family support. teachers have to make educational programs to promote mental health constantly with participating parents.

경상남도 연안지역 어패류 중의 중금속 함량에 관한 연구-제1보 (Study on the Heavy Metal Contents in Fishes and Shellfishes of Gyeongsangnam-Do Coastal Area-Part 1)

  • As measure against the environmental pollution, maximum efforts to improve of the environmental pollution have also been made; removal of the contaminated sediments of the bay and the coastal area, monitoring of several heavy metal levels in fishes, shell fishes, sea water and sediment, and so on. The objective of this research is to investigate how much metals are included in the sea water, sediment, fishes and shell fishes in kyeongnam coastal area. Specifically, we are investigating the relationships between the metal included in fishes and sea water, and shell fishes and sediment, and heavy metals and heavy metals respectively. Heavy metal over the studied component and area, the average concentrations of Pb, Cd, Cr and Hg in sea water were 0.0029 mg/L, 0.005 mg/L, 0.0016 mg/L and ND, those of sediment were 11.9583 mg/kg, 0.2136 mg/kg, 1.9158 mg/kg and Hg 0.0108 mg/kg, those of fishes were 0.4358 mg/kg. 0.0726 mg/kg, 1.1188 mg/kg and Hg 0.0622 mg/kg, and those of shellfishes were Pb 0.6738 mg/kg, Cd 0.2223 mg/kg, Cr 0.5516 mg/kg and Hg 0.0117 mg/kg respectively. In the relationship test, Cd was significant in the relationship between fishes and sea water, and Hg was significant in the relationship between sediment and shellfishes.

초기 모더니즘 가구디자인의 근원적 조형세계 (A Study on the Furniture Design of the Early Modernism in the Original Formative-World)

  • This study examined the characteristics of furniture design in the early Modernism that occurred in the early 20th Century through the relationship with modern arts. The furniture design of the early Modernism was established in the early 20th Century based on the simplicity and honesty of the Art and Crafts Movement and Anti-Historicism in Art Nouveau. During this period, the necessity of mass production became critical due to the radical industrialization and new social demands. In such periodic stream, the furniture design of the early modernism pursued simplicity and geometric beauty based on functionalism. The efforts to discover the fundamental structure of furniture were intensified. It was not limited to furniture design but was also exercised in the huge periodic transformation that progressed in every field of art including architecture. The Modernism art has also been connected to Cubism and spread into an abstract direction. While questioning the potential essence and progressing the study on genuine characteristics, the Modernism art tried to return things into their substantial looks and reorganize them conceptually, rather than reproducing external objects. The furniture that was secondary to a part of architecture and interior accessory transcended its decorative purpose. It pursued the structure to follow its fundamental purpose as furniture. Such tendency corresponded to the direction that Post-Modernism followed. Likewise, both art and design had the revivable and abstract characteristics based on the identical objective in ideology. For this reason, the formative and geometric characteristics of the early modernism furniture design have a mutual relationship with modern arts. Particularly, such tendency intensified and progressed through the Bauhaus in Germany. Based on such facts, this study proved that the early Modernism furniture design in the 20th Century tended to appear in common arts including the art and design according to the social demand of the huge periodic stream. Furthermore, the ideology that was adopted in art and design, as well as its formative characteristics, was examined through the mutual relationship of modern arts and design.
