This paper considers a finite spectrum assignment Problem for a functional retarded linear differential system with delays in control only. In this problem, by generalizing from an abstract linear system characterized by Semigroups on a Hilbert space to a finite dimensional linear system, we unify the relationship between a control-delayed system and its non-delayed system, and then by using the spectrum of the generator-decomposition of Semigroup, we try to get a feedback law which yields a finite spectrum of the closed-loop system, located at an arbitrarily preassigned sets of n points in the complex plane. The comparative examinations between the standard spectrum assignment method and the method of spectral projection for the feedback law which consists of proportional and finite interval terms over present and past values of control variables are also considered. The analysis is carry down to the elementary spectral projection level because, in spite of all the research efforts, so far there has been no significant attempt to obtain the feedback implementation directly from the abstract representation forms in the case of multivariables.

This paper reviews the results of a series of efforts to develop structure-activity models for slow-reacting chemicals and olefins whose toxicity may be enhanced by the ultraviolet radiation. Photoinduced toxicity of 14 compounds was found to be a different result of competing factors of structure, having carbon-carbon double bonds. To mimic the biological consequences of photooxidative damage in mammalian cells, the photochemical mutagenicith of 14 chemicals was tested in the CAS. Simple olefins were photochemically mutagenic or carcinogenic with irradiation, increasing the alkylating activity from zero level to 0.87(abs/gram) for styrene, 0.25 for 1-butene, 0.11 for 1-hexene, respectively, whereas no photochemical mutagenicity was observed with 1-octene in the absence of the CAS. Oxide compounds, however, showed a decreasing trend of photoalkylating activities in the presence or absence of the CAS. We found that the structure-activity relationship was not applicable to our data.

Greeting the era that the interest in qualitative aspects of life environment is getting important, commercial space, which is sensitive to the reflection of consumers' desire, is making efforts to secure the interior image identity of its own space. Especially, because the bar, which is the object of this study, is competing with undistinguished alcoholic beverages, the distinction of the interior image construction becomes more important. Here this study is purposed to understand the features of structural elements for the construction of the image identity of interior space. Especially, the purpose is to present the basic materials of the space design for individuality and distinction by considering relationship between the whole image and structural elements that form the image of space, and the preference, centering on the installation, which is being used very much for the image identity construction in eating and drinking space these days.

This paper is to illuminate the dynamic relationship between the technological learning mechanism and international political intervention. Besides conventional techno-economic factors, international political factors are emphasized as external factors in the technological learning mechanism. Being influenced by international political intervention, the evolutionary path of technological capabilities is not incrementally cumulated and organizational process is not autonomously performed, either. In order to mitigate the impact of the international political intervention, DCs make efforts to develop technological capabilities step-by-step in line with current and future civilian industrial demand.

As structures are higher, large-sized and more complex, we should detect the fire at the beginning and cope with it to reduce the loss of mankind and the physical damage due to fire. So we have investigated and developed various kinds of fire detection system, and do the efforts for minimizing the nonfire alarm. As there exists a close relationship between the technology development and the market potential, a comparison between the number of fires in special buildings and detection types were made to find out market potential based on the annual statistics on fire products inspection. In addition, we have discussed the causes of nonfire alarm and the fire detection system and prospect the research trend of the fire detection system.

The purpose of this study is to examine how academic achievement in college math courses differ depending on when the course takes place. As a result, based on years of data analyses on students' academic achievement, it was affirmed that achievement levels differ due to environmental factors despite the diverse efforts of instructors and students. By further analyzing the causes of these differences, this study suggests solutions for improving the different academic achievement levels.

Purpose: This study was conducted to explore Korean mothers' experiences of the development of parent-adolescent relationships. Methods: The participants were 18 Korean parents of adolescents. Data were collected through in-depth interviews. The main question was, "Could you tell me about your experiences of developing a relationship with your adolescent child?" The data were analyzed using Strauss and Corbin's grounded theory methodology. Results: The central phenomena of the experiences of parent-adolescent relationships among Korean mothers were "trying to reduce my expectations, but not being able to" and "having no idea where to go". The major action/interaction strategies were "putting aside my desires and adapting to my child's needs" and "waiting and seeing at a distance". The consequences included "appreciating myself and my child at the same time". Conclusion: These findings indicate that mothers tried to adapt to their children's needs and to keep their children at a distance. Their efforts were influenced by advice from friends and family members. The findings of this study emphasize specific aspects of how Korean mothers experienced the process of developing respectful relationships with their children.

This study aims to provide basic data on establishing online learning by identifying the effects of self-efficacy as a medium on factors affecting self-control according to self-determination motivation through contactless online learning due to Covid-19. The research method used SPSS 25 and Sobel test to examine the causal relationship between the spokesmen and 196 middle and high school students in W-city, Gangwon-do. Self-determination motivation has had a significant effect on self-efficacy and self-control, and self-efficacy has been shown to have a significant effect on self-control. Also, Self-efficacy had a partial mediating effect on self-determination motivation affecting self-control. Based on this, fundamental and continuous development of online education programs to promote self-control of online learners is required, and efforts should be made to support learners' capabilities through psychological counseling.

This research outlines the motivations behind the fan-lead marketing and promotional endeavours undertaken by musical group BTS's fan community, also known as ARMY. In highlighting the reciprocity in intimacy between the group and their fans, I argue that ARMY's desire to elevate BTS is embedded within structures of affect, despite the financial nature of the benefits the group and their company may reap. These fan-lead initiatives represent efforts towards a common goal, where success, whether it comes in the form of money or not, is a gift of gratitude and a show of mutual understanding from fans to BTS. Based on data from 22 interviews with fans, this research explores the motivations behind fan-lead marketing by looking at the affective properties of music consumption, the parasocial relationship, fan community dynamics, and the purchase of intimacy. Within these contexts, the promotion surrounding BTS's music, as organized by the fans, mimics profit-oriented behaviours but is ultimately a gesture towards the exchange of intimacy between fans and artist.

In Vol. 31, No. 1, our journal prepared four review articles and two original papers. First, in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of our journal, the first review article described the history, development, and recent efforts for the qualitative improvement of the journal. For aviation workers, dizziness is an important disease that can interfere with their work. So, in the second review, we introduced guidelines that aviation medical examiners should be aware of in evaluating aviation workers who complain of dizziness. In the era of coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) pandemic, it is very important for aviation workers to get the vaccination safely and return to their work. So, Kwon introduced the latest updated guidelines for vaccination for aviation workers. In addition, Kim described the relationship between COVID-19 infection and respiratory allergic disease, and appropriate treatment guidelines. Lim investigated the recent trend of human papillomavirus vaccination for foreigners during the COVID-19 period, and investigated its implications. Finally, Ra developed various programs to strengthen students' global competencies and analyzed their satisfaction.
