This study empirically investigated the direct and indirect effects of inter-organizational relationships control mechanisms (IRCM; prudent partner selection and complex contract) on the decrease of inter-organizational risks (i.e., relational risk and performance risk). The empirical results showed that prudent partner selection has a positive impact on the degrees of inter-organizational cooperation and the levels of inter-organizational information flow. The effects of complex contract on the inter-organizational cooperation and information flow were not significant. In the results of the decrease of inter-organizational risks, it was observed that inter-organizational cooperation has significant positive effects on the decrease of both relational risk and performance risk. It was found that partner selection only influences the decrease of performance risk. The impact of inter-organizational information flow on the decrease of inter-organizational risks was not statistically significant. The indirect effects of IRCM on the decrease of performance risk through inter-organizational cooperation were also empirically demonstrated. The significant impact of inter-organizational cooperation on the decrease of risks implies that high levels of collaborations among employees decrease the risk of opportunistic behavior as well as the possibility of low degrees of performance through cooperative efforts. According to the results of the effects of risks on supply-chain performance, only the impact of performance risk was negatively significant. This result points out that the low levels of performance cause delays in delivery and product launch, deterred production and delayed market response, and these deteriorated managerial activities necessarily decrease the degrees of supply-chain performance.
After more than 25 years of accumulated research evidence, there is little doubt that leadership behavior is related to a wide variety of positive individual and organizational outcomes. Indeed, leadership behavior has been empirically linked to increased employee satisfaction, organizational commitment, extra effort, turnover intention, organizational citizenship behavior, and overall employee performance. However, it is important to point out that although leadership behavior has been linked to a number of positive organizational outcomes, research regarding the antecedents of such behavior is limited. Especially there is little research dealing with the antecedents of inter-organizational leadership behavior. Supply chain leadership can be defined as the activities undertaken by the supply chain leader to influence the management programs and strategies of supply chain members. Supply chain performance is influenced by leadership of supply chain leader. Although research on supply chain leadership can be broadly categorized, many researchers have been preoccupied with analyzing supply chain leadership by the power-influence approach measuring such as control, power, and power bases. Also they have not examined the relationship between leadership and financial performance. This study has started to overcome those research gaps. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of relational behaviors on supply chain leadership, and the effect of such leadership behavior on financial performance of supply chain followers. In addition, this study also try to find out moderating variable existing in the relationship. To be concrete, First, this study develops a model of the antecedents of four conceptually distinct forms of relational behaviors such as training, fair reward, offering vision, and inter-organizational communication, and tests the hypothesized differential effects of relational behavior forms on supply chain leadership. Second, this study tests the effect of supply chain leadership on financial performance. Third, this study investigates the extent to which this leadership-performance relationship is moderated by leader ethicality. The reason why this study deals with convenience store supply chain is that there is very strong inter-dependence between a franchisor and its suppliers. Their strong inter-dependence makes their relationship as the relationship between a superior and subordinates and creates an atmosphere that leadership occur without difficulty. For the purpose of empirical testing, 217 respondents of suppliers of convenience store supply chain in Korea were surveyed and the analysis utilizing partial least square model indicated that training, fair reward, inter-organizational communication had positive effects on supply chain leadership, and such leadership had positive effect on financial performance of followers. On the other hand, offering vision had no effect on supply chain leadership. In addition, leader ethicality had moderating effect on the relationship between supply chain leadership and financial performance.
Research on the impact of the creating shared value (CSV) and organizational agility on management performance in research targeting financial institution workers is insufficient. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of CSV on business performance through social capital and the effect of organizational agility on business performance for employees of financial institutions. The results of the study are as follows. First, economic value had a positive effect on structural and relational capital, but social value had a positive effect on relational capital only. Second, organizational agility had a positive effect on financial and non-financial performance. Third, structural capital had a positive effect only on non-financial performance, and relational capital had a positive effect on financial and non-financial performance. In summarizing these findings, it was confirmed that although most of the variables had a positive effect, social value did not affect structural capital and structural capital did not affect financial performance. Based on such research results, the necessity of strengthening social value and structural capital was proposed to increase the management performance of financial institutions, and conclusions, implications, and future research directions were presented.

For the expansion of the Semantic Web, studies in converting the data stored in the relational database into the ontology are actively in process. Such studies mainly use an RDB to RDF mapping model, the model to map relational database components to RDF components. However, pre-proposed mapping models have got different expression modes and these damage the accessibility and reusability of the users. As a consequence, the necessity of the standardized mapping language was raised and the W3C suggested the R2RML as the standard mapping language for the RDB to RDF model. The R2RML has a characteristic that converts only the relational database schema data to RDF. For the same reasons above, the ontology about the relation data between table name and column name of the relational database cannot be added. In this paper, we propose an RDB to RDF mapping system considering semantic relations of RDB components in order to solve the above issue. The proposed system generates the mapping data by adding the RDFS attribute data into the schema data defined by the R2RML in the relational database. This mapping data converts the data stored in the relational database into RDF which includes the RDFS attribute data. In this paper, we implement the proposed system as a Java-based prototype, perform the experiment which converts the data stored in the relational database into RDF for the comparison evaluation purpose and compare the results against D2RQ, RDBToOnto and Morph. The proposed system expresses semantic relations which has richer converted ontology than any other studies and shows the best performance in data conversion time.

Big Data technology has been attracted much attention in aspect of fast data processing. Research of practicing Big Data technology is also ongoing to process large-scale structured data much faster in Relatioinal Database(RDB). Although there are lots of studies about measuring analyzing performance, studies about structured data loading performance, prior step of analyzing, is very rare. Thus, in this study, structured data in RDB is tested the performance that loads distributed processing platform Hadoop using Apache sqoop. Also in order to analyze the influence factors of data loading, it is tested repeatedly with different options of data loading and compared with data loading performance among RDB based servers. Although data loading performance of Apache Sqoop in test environment was low, but in large-scale Hadoop cluster environment we can expect much better performance because of getting more hardware resources. It is expected to be based on study improving data loading performance and whole steps of performance analyzing structured data in Hadoop Platform.

Numerous proposals for extending the relational data model as well as conceptual and object-oriented data models have been suggested. However, there has been relatively less research in the area of defining segmented storage structure and data migration strategies for temporal data. This paper presents the segmented storage structure in order to increment search performance and the two data migration strategies for segmented storage structure. this paper presents the two data migration strategies : the migration strategy by Time granularity, the migration strategy by LST-GET. In the migration strategy by Time Granularity, the dividing time point to assign the entity versions to the past segment, the current segment, and future segment is defined and the searching and moving process for data validity at a granularity level are described. In the migration strategy by LST-GET, we describe the process how to compute the value of dividing criterion. searching and moving processes are described for migration on the future segment and the current segment and entity versions 새 assign on each segment are defined. We simulate the search performance of the segmented storage structure in order to compare it with conventional storage structure in relational database system. And extensive simulation studies are performed in order to compare the search performance of the migration strategies with the segmented storage structure.

Knowledge distillation (KD) refers to extracting knowledge from a large and complex model (teacher) and transferring it to a relatively small model (student). This can be done by training the teacher model to obtain the activation function values of the hidden or the output layers and then retraining the student model using the same training data with the obtained values. Recently, relational KD (RKD) has been proposed to extract knowledge about relative differences in training data. This method improved the performance of the student model compared to conventional KDs. In this paper, we propose a new method for RKD by introducing a new loss function for RKD. The proposed loss function is defined using the area difference between the teacher model and the student model in a specific hidden layer, and it is shown that the model can be successfully compressed, and the generalization performance of the model can be improved. We demonstrate that the accuracy of the model applying the method proposed in the study of model compression of audio data is up to 1.8% higher than that of the existing method. For the study of model generalization, we demonstrate that the model has up to 0.5% better performance in accuracy when introducing the RKD method to self-KD using image data.
Purpose - Franchise industries are significant both socially and economically. However, with increasing interest, there are manifold problems. It is necessary to seek measures for mature operation constantly despite unprepared franchisors, negative perceptions of the media and society toward franchise, and rapid changes in business start-up trends and propensity to consume that make business start-ups difficult. The paper aims to explain the effects of relational commitment and performance on the franchisor's management characteristics and justice in the food service franchise system. Research design, data, and methodology - This is an exploratory survey examining franchising in Korea. Based on a literature synthesis, we extract five constructs: managerial characteristics, support, fairness, trust, and satisfaction. We hypothesize that these factors influence the trust, satisfaction, and performance of franchisees. To examine these hypotheses empirically, we conducted a survey on the database of the Franchising Council of Korea. The study employs data from May to September 2014. In total, 135 completed questionnaires were received, of which 128 were usable. The data was analyzed with SPSS/PC 22.0. First, to test unidimensionality and nomological validity of the measures of each construct, we employed a scale refinement procedure. The result of a reliability test with Cronbach's α and factor analysis warranted unidimensionality of the measures for each construct. In addition, nomological validity of the measures was warranted from the result of the correlation and regression analysis. By analyzing the data, we can confirm most hypotheses. Results - Frist, franchisor characteristics have a positive effect on trust and satisfaction. Second, franchisor fairness has an effect on trust and satisfaction. Third, franchisor support has an effect on satisfaction. Further, the franchisee trust has an effect on satisfaction. Fourth, the satisfaction of a franchisee with a franchisor affects the performance of a franchisee. Finally, there is a possibility that not only franchisee performance but also increasing the credibility and improving the image of the franchisor through communication between franchisor and franchisee can improve franchisees' performance and satisfaction by motivating the franchisee for sustainable growth. Franchisers should endeavor for franchisees to obtain stable revenue with continuous and practical support. They should recognize that they can expand their business by supporting their franchisees. Franchisors should not only instantly respond to franchisees' troubles with interactive communications but also raise the ability of supervisors for better support. Franchisors should share their visions and goals with their franchisees and provide systematic and continuous support based on trust and clear company management. Franchisees should understand franchisors' position as well as participate in establishing the basic franchise system. Contributions - The paper contributes to understanding franchising in Korea. It offers insights and assistance to franchisors hoping to start franchises. This paper explores measurement issues related to franchisee performance by estimating its determinant factors (managerial characteristics, support, fairness, trust, and satisfaction). This study provides franchisors and practitioners planning to extend their franchising business with some practical knowledge.
This study analyzed the effects of SMEs' open innovation capabilities and organization capabilities to lead these innovations on corporate performance. For this purpose, an empirical analysis was conducted targeting 250 small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) employee. The empirical study results are as follows. Absorptive capability, relational capability, CEO's innovativeness, employee's innovativeness, and decision-making openness had a significant positive (+) effect on the non-financial performance of SMEs. It was analyzed that multiplicative capability did not significantly affect non-financial performance. On the other hand, absorptive capability, relational capability, CEO's innovativeness, and decision-making openness had a significant positive (+) effect on the financial performance of SMEs. It was analyzed that multiplicative capability and employee's innovativeness did not significantly affect financial performance. Decision-making openness and absorptive capability were analyzed as factors that have an most important influence on a company's financial and non-financial performance. Based on these research results, academic and practical implications were presented.

In this way, the possibility of everyday arts is acquired. Second, the mental and behavioral functions of furniture are continuously changed by interaction with the user. Behavior does not occur unconsciously, but involves changes in consciousness that the user intentionally does. Therefore, as the user's level of consciousness grows, personal experience changes, and the behavioral function of the household changes. The study of 'furniture as a behavior' is suggested as one approach to design furniture.
