중학교 가정 교과서의 주생활 단원에 대한 교사의 인식과 교육에 관한 연구 (A Study on Teachers’Recognition and Teaching methods in Housing of Home Economics Text Book of Middle School)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate teachers’recognition and teaching methods in Housing of Home Economics Text Book of Middle School and to provide the basic data for the improvement of its curriculum. Home Economics teachers of the 433 schools responded in nationwide to the mailed questionaire. The selected data were manipulated by percent and verified in the way of t-test. The findings of this study are as follows: 1. Most Home Economics teachers have ever taken teacher training but there are few who have never taken any teacher training in Housing. And even those who have ever taken the training in Housing are not satisfied with the training curriculum contents. Therefore, the result of this study shows that Housing should be included in the teacher training curriculum contents, and that the teacher training curriculum contents, and that the teacher training curriculum contents should be helpful for the actual teaching and learning. 2. It is necessary to allot more houres for Housing, in that most teachers actually allot more time for Housing than presented in teachers’guide, and to develop more teaching aids for the effective instruction of Housing. In terms of the suitability of Housing to the students’learning development levels, the degree of suitability is in the order of the significance of housing, housing sanitation, the types of housing, the space for housing, the ground plan of housing, the arrangement of furniture. The contents about the interior decoration and gardening of the existing text book have turned out not to be appropriate.. In terms of the relation between the place of residence and the curriculum, Housing is suitable for the city, but not for the farming, mining, and sea village, Teachers suggest that the content of the curriculum about Housing should be varied according to the location of the school. 3. The number of the teaching aids for Housing is in the order of picture, charts and pamphlet but not sufficient.

  • 본 연구에서는 이산확률분포 파악에 필요한 지식을 표본공간의 각 원소에 정의된 확률, 이산확률변수의 정의, 이산확률변수에 정의되는 확률, 그리고 이들 사이의 관계에 대한 지식으로 정의하고, 예비수학교사가 해당 지식을 어느 정도 이해하고 있는지에 대하여 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 검사 도구를 개발하고 사범대학생 47명을 대상으로 조사하였다.

  • 본 연구는 예비유아교사의 창의성 교사교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 두뇌우성사고 유형에 따른 언어 창의성의 차이를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 유아교육과 3, 4학년 210명으로 이들에게 두뇌우성사고 유형은 Herrmann의 BDI를 실시하였고, 창의성은 TTCT:언어를 사용하였다. 자료처리는 두뇌우성사고 유형과 언어 창의성 간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson 상관분석과 두뇌우성사고 유형에 따른 창의성의 차이를 밝히고자 다변량분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 좌상뇌, 좌하변연계, 우하변연계는 유창성, 융통성, 독창성 및 전체 언어 창의성과 어떠한 상관도 없었으며, 우상뇌는 유창성, 융통성, 독창성 및 전체 언어 창의성과 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 좌하변연계, 우상뇌 및 우하변연계 우성 교사가 좌상뇌 우성 교사보다 유창성, 융통성, 독창성 및 전체 언어 창의성이 높게 나타났다. 이러한 예비유아교사의 두뇌우성사고 유형에 따른 언어 창의성을 분석한 결과는 두뇌기반 창의성 교사교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 시사점으로 활용될 것이다.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore domains and elements of pedagogical content knowledge(PCK) for effective teaching in secondary schools. The value of PCK lies essentially in its relation with specific topics. Teachers' PCK becomes through making explicit the nature of their pedagogical reasoning and the associated decision making within the context of teaching content. This study propose the process of PCK research and development. The theoretical definition of PCK, basic directions of PCK development were discussed. This research provides teachers with an opportunity to think about what is important in the teaching of a topic and why and to consider possibilities for future development.

직장인의 스트레스 증상과 대처 관련 변인에 대한 연구: 정서적 지원, 자기효능감, 직무만족도, 직무성취도를 중심으로 (A study of worker's stress symptoms and coping related variables: Focusing on emotional support, self-efficacy, job-satisfaction and job-performance)

  • 이 연구에서는 직장인의 스트레스 증상과 대처 관련 변인들 사이의 관계를 분석하는 데 주된 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 정서적 지원(가족, 직장동료, 직장상사), 자기효능감(자기조절, 사회성, 관계, 어려움극복, 업무처리), 직무만족도, 직무성취도가 스트레스 증상 및 대처에 미치는 영향력의 정도를 분석하였다. 분석대상은 교사 559명(초 205, 중 203, 고 151; 남 132, 여 427)이었다. 분석결과, 학교급별로 초, 중, 고등학교 교사는 스트레스 증상과 대처에서 차이가 없었다. 그러나 성별로는 유의한 차이가 있었는데, 여자 교사가 남자 교사보다 스트레스 증상이 높았으나 대처도 더 잘 하였다. 정서적 지원, 자기효능감, 직무성취도, 직무만족도 변인을 투입하여 중다회귀분석 하였을 때, 스트레스 증상에 대해 남녀 교사 모두 직무만족도가 의미 있는 부적인 영향력을 나타내었다. 스트레스 대처에 대해서는 남자 교사 경우에 어려움극복효능감이, 여자 교사 경우에 어려움극복효능감, 동료의 정서적 지원, 직무성취도, 가족의 정서적 지원이 의미 있는 정적인 영향력을 나타내었다. 따라서 남녀 교사 모두 높은 직무만족도는 스트레스 증상을 완화하는데 기여하는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 남녀 교사 모두 높은 어려움극복효능감은 스트레스의 효율적 대처에 기여하였으며, 여자 교사 경우에는 이외에도 동료나 가족의 정서적 지원 및 직무성취도가 스트레스 대처에 도움이 되었다.

초등수학교육의 현대화에 따른 교육내용의 개선 및 교사교육에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reform of School Mathematics and the Education of Teachers in Modernization of Elementary School Mathematics)

  • In this report. it is assumed in the first chapter. various motives for modernizing of school mathematics can be indicated as the development of modern mathematics the highly advanced technology. the emergence of computor, and the progress of symbol logic. It is also confirmed that its modernizing process contains the modernization of contents in school mathematics. the broad application of school mathematics. the intellectualization of school mathematics. and the variation of its educational process. And the following chapter of this report is composed of the comparative study on the modernizing tendency of school mathematics among the SMSG of U. S. A., the mathematical education in France. and the late tendancy of Japan. The most significant part of the report is the chapter which propose the new program for school mathematics. It establishes the direction of school mathematics and its purpose. And at the same time it divides its fundamental conceptions into six parts according to school grades; the number. the operation. the functional relation. the quality and measure, the geometry, and the statistics. For the perspective of school mathematics, it is probable that the program for education and training of teachers could be realized, if it were spported by the system of specializing teachers and of functional teachers with advanced technology of education. Particularly the education of teachers contains the training of teachers as well as educational administrators or parents. Finally, the report concludes that the necessity of research required for the development of school mathematics must be emphasized in regard to the established program of teacher training.

과학 수업에서 통합적 적용 경험에 따른 초등학교 교사들의 통합 과학 교육에 대한 인식 및 교과교육학 지식(PCK)의 차이 분석 (An Analysis of the Differences in Perceptions and Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) of Elementary Teachers depend on Application Experience of Integrated Science Education in the Elementary Science Class)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate significant differences between the application group and nonapplication group of integrated science education in the science class about elementary teachers' perceptions and PCK. The results are as follows. First, no significant differences were found about science teachers' fundamental background variables between the two groups. This results showed that the application of integrated science education didn't have relation with the fundamental background variables. It was found that the application group of integrated science education has a lower frequency than the application group, however, it has been analysed that the application group has been applied at the introduction stage for students' motivation, focused on biology as twice every month. Second, to apply a successful integrated education in the elementary science class, it has analysed that not only teachers should need to understand about application method and concept of integrated science education but also science textbook and teaching-learning material should be developed and diffused in the well-integrated science. Third, it was found that professionality of elementary teachers to teach the scientific content knowledge is not comparatively high and non-application group of integrated science education has a lower PCK than the application group. Therefore, it should be provided that not only training programmes to learn interdisciplinary knowledge related to science, can lead to more understanding about instructional design, teaching strategies and concept for integrated science education should be developed but also chances to participate in various training programmes should be provided to enhance elementary teachers' professionality for integrated science education.

통계적 추정을 가르치기 위한 수학적 지식(MKT)의 분석 (An analysis of Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching of statistical estimation)

  • Knowledge and data interpretation on statistical estimation was important to have statistical literacy that current curriculum was said not to satisfy. The author investigated mathematics teachers' MKT on statistical estimation concerning interpretation of confidence interval by using questionnaire and interview. SMK of teachers' confidence was limited to the area of textbooks to be difficult to interpret data of real life context. Most of teachers wrongly understood SMK of interpretation of confidence interval to have influence upon PCK making correction of students' wrong concept. SMK of samples and sampling distribution that were basic concept of reliability and confidence interval cognized representation of samples rather exactly not to understand importance and value of not only variability but also size of the sample exactly, and not to cognize appropriateness and needs of each stage from sampling to confidence interval estimation to have great difficulty at proper teaching of statistical estimation. PCK that had teaching method had problem of a lot of misconception. MKT of sample and sampling distribution that interpreted confidence interval had almost no relation with teachers' experience to require opportunity for development of teacher professionalism. Therefore, teachers were asked to estimate statistic and to get confidence interval and to understand concept of the sample and think much of not only relationship of each concept but also validity of estimated values, and to have knowledge enough to interpret data of real life contexts, and to think and discuss students' concepts. So, textbooks should introduce actual concepts at real life context to make use of exact orthography and to let teachers be reeducated for development of professionalism.

An Analysis of the Concepts that Should be Taught to Achieve Class Objectives of Genetics Unit in Biology

  • The researchers who are studying biology and teachers who are teaching biology think that the genetics-related concepts are highly significant than other concepts in biology. With such background, researches on the identification of major concepts have been under way to guide in biology class. Minimal research has been carried out, however, on what concepts should be taught to achieve the specific objectives of the class in relation to the unit of genetics in middle and high school. Accordingly this study was designed to determine the concepts of genetics that should be taught to achieve the objectives of the genetics unit in secondary school. For this purpose 5 instructional objectives of the genetics unit on the 9th grade and 4 instructional objectives of Biology I were selected and the concepts that were taught to achieve class objectives. The survey was conducted among 114 science teachers from middle schools and 85 biology teachers from high schools. The results indicated that 9.1 and 10.2 concepts on average were taught in the 9th grade and in Biology I respectively. Moreover statistical difference in the number of concepts that were taught according to the teachers' teaching experiences appeared among the middle school teachers (p<.05). But such statistical difference did not appear among the high school teachers (p>.05). Furthermore the concepts for the 9th grade consist of the basic genetics concepts although Biology I concepts were integrated and advanced contents for same concepts. Thus this finding suggests that concepts of genetics units to be taught in middle and high school were in linkage.

유아교사의 직무스트레스가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 있어 교수효능감의 매개효과 (Effects of Early Childhood Teachers' Job Stress on Organizational Commitment: The Mediating Role of Teaching Efficacy Belief)

  • 본 연구는 유아교사의 직무스트레스, 교수효능감, 조직몰입의 관계를 밝히는 데 목적을 두고, 특히 유아교사의 직무스트레스가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 있어 교수효능감의 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 D광역시 소재 유치원과 어린이집 유아교사 각 250명씩 총 500명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고, 그중 442부를 회수하여 426사례를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구결과, 유아교사의 직무스트레스는 교수효능감 및 조직몰입과 부적 상관관계를 보였으며, 교수효능감은 조직몰입과 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 유아교사의 교수효능감은 직무스트레스와 조직몰입 간의 관계에서 부분 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아교사의 소진을 설명하고자 직무스트레스를 바라보는 방식에서 그 방향을 전환하여, 긍정적 관점인 조직몰입을 설명하기 위한 예측변인으로서 직무스트레스를 바라보았다는 데 의의가 있으며, 교수효능감의 매개효과를 확인함으로써 환경적 개입에 대한 가능성을 제공하였다.
