폐석회석 굵은골재를 사용한 투수 콘크리트의 공극 및 강도특성 (Porosity and Strength Properties of Permeable Concrete Using Limestone Mine Wastes as Coarse Aggregate for Concrete)

  • 폐석회석을 투수 콘크리트용 골재로 활용하여 콘크리트의 공극률, 연속공극률, 투수계수, 압축강도 및 휨강도 등을 측정하였으며,투수 콘크리트의 공극특성과 강도와의 관계에 대하여 고찰하였다. 투수 콘크리트의 공극 및 강도특성은 폐석회석 혼합률에 의한 영향 보다는 골재입자의 크기 및 골재입자 사이의 공극에 의한 영향이 크게 작용하였다. 투수 콘크리트의 공극률과 연속공극률과의 관계 및 공극특성과 강도와의 관계도 양호한 선형관계를 나타내었다. 또한, 폐석회석을 사용한 투수 콘크리트의 투수계수는 0.2cm/sec 이상의 양호한 결과로 보통골재에 비하여 투수성능이 우수하였으며, 강도결과와 종합해 보면 폐석회석을 보도용 콘크리트 또는 식생, 수자원 정화 콘크리트 등으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대되었다.

Design tables and charts for uniform and non-uniform tuned liquid column dampers in harmonic pitching motion

  • In the first part of the paper, the optimal design parameters for tuned liquid column dampers (TLCD) in harmonic pitching motion were investigated. The configurations in design tables include uniform and non-uniform TLCDs with cross-sectional ratios of 0.3, 0.6, 1, 2 and 3 for the design in different situations. A closed-form solution of the structural response was used for performing numerical optimization. The results from optimization indicate that the optimal structural response always occurs when the two resonant peaks along the frequency axis are equal. The optimal frequency tuning ratio, optimal head loss coefficient, the corresponding response and other useful quantities are constructed in design tables as a guideline for practitioners. As the value of the head loss coefficient is only available through experiments, in the second part of the paper, the prediction of head loss coefficients in the form of a design chart are proposed based on a series of large scale tests in pitching base motions, aiming to ease the predicament of lacking the information of head loss for those who wishes to make designs without going through experimentation. A large extent of TLCDs with cross-sectional ratios of 0.3, 0.6, 1, 2 and 3 and orifice blocking ratios ranging from 0%, 20%, 40%, 60% to 80% were inspected by means of a closed-form solution under harmonic base motion for identification. For the convenience of practical use, the corresponding empirical formulas for predicting head loss coefficients of TLCDs in relation to the cross-sectional ratio and the orifice blocking ratio were also proposed. For supplemental information to horizontal base motion, the relation of head loss values versus blocking ratios and the corresponding empirical formulas were also presented in the end.

투습조건에 따른 목재내 함수율분포 (Distribution of Moisture Content in Wood with Vapor Transmission Conditions)

  • 투습조건이 다른 경우에 있어서, 목재의 두께를 동일하게 하여 목재내부의 함수율분포 및 함수율의존성을 조사하였다. 시험편은 소나무재로 직경 70mm, 두께 20mm 인 정목판재를 이용하였다. 실험은 JIS Z-0208규정에 의거하여 10가지 종류를 선정하여 실시하였다. 목재내 함수율분포는 함수율 10%위치를 경계로 두 개의 직선으로 나타났다. 한편, 10%보다 높거나 낮을때는 한 개의 직선으로 나타났다. 따라서 함수율 10%값은 목재나 실험조건과는 상관없이 나타나는 것으로 생각되었다. 10%는 수분흡착에너지가 변화하는 경계점으로 추정되었다. 전보에서 일정한 실험조건에서는 목재의 두께에 상관없이 일정한 값을 나타내었지만, 본 연구에서 확산계수는 실험조건에 따라 수분경사로 구한 확산계수는 목재함수율에 따라 다양하게 나타났다.

  • The normal transmission characteristics of curtain fabrics were measured by sound level meter. Transmission coefficient was calculated by difference of incidence SPL and transmission SPL. The relation between this value and factors relating to the structure of curtain fabrics were investigated. The results of experiment were shown follow; 1. Transmission coefficients(approximately over $95\%$) of sound in curtain fabrics differ from according to the frequency. It was lower in 500Hz frequency, on the other hand, higher in 400, 640. 1000Hz frequency. It had a tendency to frequency among the samples. 2. The greater cover factor of sample was, the smaller the transmission coefficient of sound was. It was not influenced by thickness. 3. Air permeability was increased as the transmission coefficient of sound were greater. (correl. ation coefficient=0.83) 4. In the case of special single cloth weave(special honeycomb weave), there sometimes took place that transmission SPL was greater than incidence SPL.

테프론 막 재료의 흡음특성 및 적용효과 연구 (Sound Absorption Characteristics and Application Effect of PTFE Membrane Material)

  • Following the 2002 World-Cup held in Korea, studies have been actively conducted on plans to utilize all-weather stadiums of fine figures, where large-scale spaces are available for various utilizations. In Japan, dome-type stadiums have been built and are utilizing across the whole nation not only for sports events but also variety of other large-scale events. PTFE(poly tetra fluoro ethylene) is one of the membrane material mainly used for the outer ceiling surface of membrane structures. However, there has not been enough research on the acoustical properties of PTFE membrane material which has been widely used in the multi-purpose stadiums. In this study, air permeability values and sound absorption coefficient of PTFE membrane materials were measured and evaluated in the gymnasium. From the results of measurements of sound absorption coefficient and air permeability of inner membrane materials, it was found that the sound absorption coefficient was good in the air permeability range of $5{\sim}15\;cc/cm^2/s$. Also the relation ship between air permeability and sound absorption coefficient was very high and the sound absorption coefficient was the highest in the range of $6{\sim}9\;cc/cm^2/s$. Secondly, an analysis on the measurements sound absorption characteristics of inner membrane material reveals that the overall sound absorption coefficient was stabilized(higher than 0.5 throughout the whole frequency bands) when the air space behind the membrane material was deeper than 600 mm. When PTFE sound absorptive membrane material was installed in the ceiling of gymnasium, it was confirmed that sound absorptive membrane material can reduce reverberation and increase speech intelligibility in the gymnasium.

  • 공업용 방사선 필름의 필름 농도가 대략 3.5 이하의 농도 구간에서 상대 노출에 대해 지수 함수적으로 증가한다고 가정하여, 필름특성곡선에 관한 일반식과 두께 변화에 대한 농도 변화 관계식을 새로이 제안하였다. 연속 X-선과 $Ir^{192}$에 의한 ${\gamma}$-선으로 탄소강의 계단시편에 대해 시험한 결과, 대략 $1.0{\sim}3.5$의 농도 범위에서 두께 변화에 대한 농도의 상용 대수변화가 기존의 관계식에 비해 보다 선형적인 경향을 나타내었으며 실제 계단 시편의 치수와 제안한 관계식에 의한 평가를 비교한 결과 본 연구에서 제안한 농도-두께 관계식에 의한 결과가 기존의 관계식에 의한 결과보다 정확하였다. 그리고 시험체의 두께가 증가함에 따라 beam hardening effect에 의해 유효선흡수계수가 달라지는 연속 X-선에 비해 상대적으로 에너지 스펙트럼이 단순한 ${\gamma}$-선이 두께 평가를 위한 더 적합한 방사선원임을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 관계식은 국부적인 부식 손상의 깊이와 분포도를 평가할 수 있으므로 압력 용기 등의 산업 설비의 건전성 평가에 활용할 수 있다.

분수공적분을 이용한 KOSPI200지수의 현.선물 장기균형관계검정 (A Study on the Long-Run Equilibrium Between KOSPI 200 Index Spot Market and Futures Market)

  • 이 논문은 분수공적분 개념을 이용하여 KOSPI200지수와 지수선물가격간에 장기균형관계가 있는지를 살펴보고 있다. 이것을 위해 로그변환 현 선물가격 각각의 분수차분계수를 주파수영역 (frequency domain)의 GPH 추정량을 구한 다음, 현 선물 회귀식의 추정을 통해 도출한 균형오차의 차분계수와 비교하였다. 이 방법은 전통적인 공적분방법에서 규명하지 못한 금융시계열자료의 통계적인 특성을 분석할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정수차원의 차분구조모형에서는 공적분검정을 통한 장기균형관계의 증거를 찾기가 어려웠다. ADF 단위근 검정과 KPSS 정상성 검정에서 상반된 결과가 제시되어 두 시계열을 I(1)으로 확정하기가 불가능하였다. 둘째, GPH 추정량를 이용하여 차분계수를 추정한 결과, 두 시계열 모두 불안정한 장기기억구조를 가지는 것으로 식별되었고 균형오차는 정상적인(stationary) 장기기억구조를 가져 현 선물가격간에 분수공적분관계가 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 이 논문은 선물시장과 현물시장이 장기균형관계를 국내 선행연구에서 이용하지 않았던 분수공적분을 이용하여 분석했다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

신성장 동력, 소프트웨어산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석 (New Growth Power, Economic Effect Analysis of Software Industry)

  • This study proposes the accurate economic effect (employment inducement coefficient, hiring inducement coefficient, index of the sensitivity of dispersion, index of the power of dispersion, and ratio of value added) of Korea software industry by analyzing the inter-industry relation using the modified inter-industry table. Some previous studies related to the inter-industry analysis were reviewed and the key problems were identified. First, in the current inter-industry table publishedby the Bank of Korea, the output of software industry includes not only the output of pure software industry (package software and IT services) but also the output of non-software industry due to the misclassification of the industry. This causes the output to become bigger than the actual output of the software industry. Second, during rewriting the inter-industry table, the output is changing. The inter-industry table is the table in the form of rows and columns, which records the transactions of goods and services among industries which are required to continue the activities of each industry. Accordingly, if only an output of a specific industry is changed, the reliability of the table would be degraded because the table is prepared based on the relations with other industries. This possibly causes the economic effect coefficient to degrade reliability, over or under estimated. This study tries to correct these problems to get the more accurate economic effect of the software industry. First, to get the output of the pure software section only, the data from the Korea Electronics Association(KEA) was used in the inter-industry table. Second, to prevent the difference in the outputs during rewriting the inter-industry table, the difference between the output in the current inter-industry table and the output from KEA data was identified and then it was defined as the non-software section output for the analysis. The following results were obtained: The pure software section's economic effect coefficient was lower than the coefficient of non-software section. It comes from differenceof data to Bank of Korea and KEA. This study hasa signification from accurate economic effect of Korea software industry.

Simulation of nanosilver migration from polystyrene nanocomposite into food simulants

  • Polystyrene granules were combined with nanosilver to form a nanocomposite film. One-side migration was conducted to test into three food simulants (3% acetic acid, 10% ethanol and 95% ethanol) at $40^{\circ}C$ temperature on different period of time (2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 days). It was found that, among the simulants, the highest migration amount was obtained with 3% acetic acid, while the 95% ethanol revealed the least migration level. Diffusion coefficients of nanosilver particles into simulants were estimated by inverse simulation using experimental data of concentration variation in the simulants. The finite element method used to solve the mass transfer equation and the numerical results indicates the sameresponse with the experimental data. The numerical results confirmed that the highest diffusion coefficient for acetic acid 3% (1.82E-10 to $1.76E-9m^2\;s^{-1}$) and the lowest diffusion coefficient for ethanol 95% from 2 to 10 days were obtained, respectively. Also, results of diffusion coefficient - concentration relation showed, the diffusion coefficient had in direct correlation with time and concentration. The results indicated that, in the 3% acetic acid, due to the increasing of diffusion coefficient of silver nanoparticles, they are released faster and distributed uniformly.

  • 다중 ridge 원형 도파관을 퓨리에 급수 전개와 모드 정합법을 이용하여 정확하게 해석하였다. 경계 조건을 이용하여 두 급수식을 전개하고 이를 풀어 모드를 정확하게 구하였다. 다중 ridge 원형 도파관의 ridge의 수, 길이, 폭에 따른 차단 파수(cutoff wavenumber)의 변화를 살펴보았다. 구한 해는 정확하고 수렴성이 뛰어나며 dominant mode에 대해서는 간단한 근사식을 제시하였다.
