일부 한국 성인의 전곡류 섭취빈도와 동기부여, 행동강화, 행동가능 요인간의 연관성 (Relations of Whole Grain Consumption with Predisposing, Reinforcing, and Enabling Factors among Korean Adults)

  • This study compared levels of whole grain consumption-related predisposing, reinforcing, and enabling factors according to socio-demographic variables, and examined how these factors are associated with whole grain consumption frequency among Korean adults. A survey questionnaire was administered to a convenience sample of adult males and females aged 20~59 years (n=300). The questionnaire included questions on predisposing, reinforcing, and enabling factors in relation to whole grain consumption as well as a brief whole grain food frequency questionnaire. Female subjects showed a significantly higher level of negative beliefs on health nutrition taste texture while showing a significantly lower level of social support compared to that of males. The age group of 40~59 years showed a significantly higher social support level than the age group of 20~39 years. Results from multivariate regression analyses showed that different combinations of predisposing, reinforcing, and enabling variables were significant in predicting whole grain consumption frequency according to sex and age. The study findings can be used for developing specific target-oriented nutrition intervention programs for promotion of whole grain intake among Korean adults.

또래괴롭힘 행동경향성에 관련된 개인, 가족 및 학교환경변인 탐색 (Analysis of Individual, Family and School Environment Factors Related to Children's Bullying Behaviors)

  • We examined gender-specific behaviors in children and classified types of bullying behavior among 1,181 fifth and sixth grade elementary schools students. Differences were identified in individual variables, family environment variables, and school environment variables. Furthermore the behavioral tendencies of those variables towards bullying were also investigated. Collected data were subjected to descriptive and comparative statistical analysis using the SPSS program(Ver 15.0). Results showed that tendency towards bullying was gender specific. Bullying behavior, reinforcing behavior, assistant behavior, and onlooking behavior in boys were influenced by individual factors only. However, defending behavior in boys was influenced by individual and school factors, while victimizing behavior was influenced by individual and family factors. In girls, onlooking behavior was only influenced by individual factors, while reinforcing behavior was influenced by individual and family factors. Bullying behavior, defending behavior, assistant behavior, and victimizing behavior in girls were influenced by individual, family, and school factors.

부식 모니터링을 이용한 콘크리트 내의 임계 염화물량 평가 (Estimation of Critical Chloride Threshold Value Using Corrosion Monitoring)

  • It should be noted that the critical chloride threshold level is not considered to be a unique value for all conditions. This value is dependent on concrete mixture proportions, cement type and constituents, presence of admixtures, environmental factors, steel reinforcement surface conditions, and other factors. In this study, the accelerated corrosion test for reinforcing steel was conducted by electrochemical and sea water-circulated method, respectively and during the test, corrosion monitoring by half cell potential method was carried out to estimate the critical chloride threshold value when corrosion for reinforcing steel in concrete was perceived. For this purpose, lollypop and beam test specimens were made for $31.4\%,\;41.5\%\;and\;49.7\%$ of w/c. respectively and then the accelerated corrosion test for reinforcing steel was executed. It was observed from the test that the time to initiation of corrosion was found to be different with water-cement ratio and the critical chloride threshold value was found to range from 0.91 to $1.27kg/m^3$.

  • 본 연구에서는 절토사면 공법선정시 고려해야 할 영향인자에 대한 가중치 결정과 사면보강공법 선호도를 AHP기법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구, 설계, 시공업에 종사하고 있는 전문가를 대상으로 분석한 결과 공법선택시 안정성 및 내구성, 환경성이 가장 중요한 영향인자로 조사되었으며, 안전율 증가법 위주로 분석된 사면보강공법 선호도 조사에서는 경제성과 유지관리 용이성, 안정성에서 가장 우수한 평가를 받은 옹벽공법과 절토공법이 가장 선호도가 높은 공법으로 분석되었다.

비흡연 중학생들의 흡연 및 약물사용 태도에 영향을 미치는 개인 및 사회적 강화요인 (Factors Associated with Positive Attitudes of Smoking and Drug Use among Non-smoking Middle School Students)

  • Objectives: More than half of youth smokers start to use cigarettes in their middle-school ages. Thus, middle school students should be the primary target population for smoking prevention education although the technical smoking rate is higher in high school students than in middle school students. Based on this significance, this study examined personal and social factors reinforcing non-smoking middle school students to acquire positive attitudes on smoking cigarettes. Methods: A total of 1,081 students of the 3 middle schools in Seoul participated in the self-administered survey. The designated schools were conveniently selected and all the 2nd-grade students of the schools participated in the survey. The questionnaire asked reinforcing social factors of smoking such as, family and parental history of drug use, close-people's smoking and drug use, personal experience of drug use, perceived smoking and drug use knowledge and attitudes, perceived smoking intention in future, and other delinquent behaviors. Results: Personal experience of drug and delinquent behaviors, perceived smoking intention in future, perceived knowledge of smoking, educational experience, and close-people's smoking and drug use were significantly related to students' attitudes on smoking. The significant factors affecting the positive attitudes of smoking were living with broken family and few education experience of smoking in school as social factors and strong smoking intention in future, high score of delinquent behavior, and low score of drug use knowledge as personal factors. Conclusions: Adolescents' strong smoking intention and little smoking education experience would primary personal and social factors reinforcing positive attitudes on smoking. Thus, school-based educational programs preventing smoking intention need to be developed and to be delivered to middle school students to minimize the future smoking population in a long-term perspective.

Bend Resistance of Polymer Cement Slurry Coated Reinforcing Bars

  • The bend resistance of coated reinforcing bar is greatly influenced by both the adhesion strength between bar and coating materials, and the followed transformation of coating material as bars bend. Especially, tearing state or partial microscopic cracks are predicted on the inside and outside of bending angle, because tensile strength and elongation of polymer film are very different according to types of polymer dispersions in bar coating, and these damaged parts are rapidly corroded by penetration of corrosive factors. In this study, polymer cement slurry coated reinforcing bars with various polymer dispersions are prepared by following combined conditions, polymer-cement ratio of 50% and 100%, coating thickness of 250$\mu$m and 450$\mu$m, coating number, curing age of 3, 7, 14 and 28days. Then the specimens are tested for working life and bend resistance at bending angles $90^{\circ}$, $135^{\circ}$and $180^{\circ}$ to observe the microscopic damage effect as the bars bend. Also, epoxy-coated reinforcing bars for control experiment were used with 250$\mu$m of coating thickness. The tensile strength for polymer films is performed. From the test results, the working life of the polymer cement slurry is within 90 seconds. Among four types of polymer dispersion, polymer cement slurry coated reinforcing bar using St/BA-1 emulsion has the excellent bend resistance, which is remarkably improved than that of epoxy-coated reinforcing bar. And the bend resistance is more related to elongation than tensile strength of polymer film. Polymer cement slurry with a polymer-cement ratio of 100%, a coating thickness of $450\mu$m and one coating using St/BA emulsion is selected as a most suitable coating material for coated reinforcing bar.

철근의 영향을 고려한 콘크리트 구조물의 염소이온 확산해석 (Influence of Reinforcements on the Chloride Diffusion Analysis of Concrete Structures)

  • 염해 환경에 노출된 철근 콘크리트 구조물의 내구수명 산정은 일반적으로 철근의 위치까지 염소이온이 확산하여 임계농도에 도달하는데 걸리는 시간으로 추정해 오고 있다. 염소이온의 확산해석 방법은 많은 연구들이 콘크리트만을 고려한 염소이온 확산해석을 수행하여 염소이온의 분포를 예측하곤 철근 깊이에서의 염소이온 농도가 임계농도에 도달하는 시간을 내구수명 예측에 사용하는 방법을 제시하고 있다. 콘크리트에서의 염소이온의 확산 해석에서 콘크리트 내의 철근을 고려하지 않은 염소이온 확산해석은 실제 철근의 염소이온 확산 계수가 거의 '0'인 점을 고려하면 실제 염소이온의 확산 거동을 제대로 반영하지 못한 것이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 철근의 영향을 고려한 염소이온 확산 해석을 통하여 철근이 염소이온 확산 거동에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 합리적인 철근 부식 시작 시간을 예측하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는, 또한 시멘트 성분과 배합 특성에 영향을 받는 염소이온의 구속효과를 고려하여 확산해석을 수행하였으며, 염소이온 확산 해석의 주요 변수는 실제 구조물에서 염소이온의 확산해석에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 철근의 직경, 철근 덮개 크기, 시멘트 종류 그리고 배합 등의 다양한 변수를 고려하였으며 철근을 고려하지 않은 경우와 비교 분석하였다.

  • An experimental study has been carried out to investigate the reinforcing effect of marine dredging clay(MDC) mixed with the Micro-Fiber(MF). A series of laboratory tests was performed using specimens of MDC alone and MDC with MF by means of uniaxial and triaxial compression test. In the test programme, three stages of water content of MDC were chosen according to the elapsed time after dredging, and content and length of MF were considered as important factors for reinforcing effect. And the developed strength due to curing was measured both in MDC and composite. The enhancement of strength of composite was found to be increased with the increasing content and length of MF, and curing time, and with decreasing water content of MDC. An additional study has been made for in-situ trafficability on the soft reclaimed ground by MDC due to high water content. It was found that the waste lime was to be applicable for this purpose to get a reinforcing effect of MDC. A further study would lead to the better understanding of the reinforcing mechanism of the composite.

EVALUATION OF A PENETRATION-REINFORCING AGENT TO PREVENT THE AGING OF CONCRETE

  • Concrete has three major properties after a penetration-reinforcing agent is applied on its surface. First, the durability is improved by the sol-gel process of synthesized material from the polycondensation of TEOS (tetra-ethoxyorthosilicate) and acrylate monomer. Second, the capability to absorb impact energy is reinforced through the formation of a soft and flexible layer of organic monomers by Tea (Tetra Ethyl Amin). Third, the capability to prevent deterioration is enhanced by adding isobutyl-orthosilicate and alcohol. The performance and application of an agent developed through the synthesis of organic and inorganic material in an effort to prevent concrete from deterioration and improve the durability of concrete structures were verified in diverse experiments. The results of these experiments showed that the application of the proposed penetration-reinforcing agent has the effect of increasing the compressive strength by filling up the internal pores of concrete with physically and chemically stable compounds after penetrating the concrete. It also improves the durability against the deterioration factors such as salt water damage, carbonation, freezing and thawing, and compound deterioration. Therefore, it is confirmed that the penetration-reinforcing agent is a useful substance for the management and repair of concrete structures.

터널 설계인자 평가에 따른 콘크리트 라이닝 철근량 절감에 관한 연구 (A study on the reduction of concrete lining re-bar according to the tunnel design factors)

  • 본 논문은 터널 설계 시 설계 인자에 따른 콘크리트 라이닝 절근량 절감에 관한 연구 이다. 콘크리트 라이닝의 설계는 과다한 하중적용에 따라 철근보강이 증가하게 되며, 경제성이 줄어들게 된다. 터널 시공의 경제성을 향상시키기 위해서는 콘크리트 라이닝의 설계인자에 대해 합리적인 기준이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 라이닝의 설계에 적용되는 설계 인자에 대하여 특징 및 문제점을 분석하였다. 또한 설계인자 적용에 대한 콘크리트 라이닝의 경제성 검토는 수치해석을 이용하여 단면설계를 통해 산정된 철근 보강량을 비교하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면 콘크리트 라이닝 설계 시 설계 인자의 적용에 따라 필요 철근량이 다르게 나타났다. 따라서 이 연구를 통하여 콘크리트라이닝의 철근량을 경감시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구 결과는 향후 콘크리트 라이닝의 경제적 설계를 위하여 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
