Science and Technology Park (STP) is perceived to be a vehicle in promoting innovation-based economic growth within the framework of regional and national innovation systems. STP is a tool to encourage regional innovation and competitiveness in increasing contribution of science and technology in economic development. STP can also be a leading sector in creating conducive environment for local community's technopreneurship. In relation to the vision outlined in the 2025 Indonesian Master Plan of Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia's Economic (MP3EI), STP is stated to be an important element in creating innovation within the framework of Special Economic Zone among six Economic Corridors. Hence, the government of Indonesia continues to encourage the development of STPs in Indonesia by involving local governments, universities, business players and stakeholders surround the area. Ultimately, STP is a platform in developing National Innovation System (NIS) and Regional Innovation System (RIS).

Many Asian countries are suffered from various problems on water, which include the need for increased access to improves water supplies and sanitation through investments in infrastructure and capacity building, the balances water management system between development and ecosystem, and the need to reduce the human populations'vulnerability to water-related disasters, in particular, from climate variability and evolution. Decison makers are the most influential people in policy making and solving global water problems is central issue in eradicating poverty and achieving sustainable development (MDG). They across the world form an integral part of the architecture of national or regional governance. Their role covers a range of decision-making processes including passing legislation, scrutinizing government policy, and representing citizen through the election. We must ensure that these quiet but important issues get the political space, financial priority and public attention they deserve. Regional bodies such as the EU have also enacted legislation which introduces rules on water quality and other enforceable mattera across state boundaries. With this growing body of laws and policies on water issues, the role of decision makers is growing. Recognizing this role, decison makers' platform is essential to provide an opportunity to discuss crucial water issues in each country or region and for the purpose "2010 Parliaments for Water in Asia" has planned and organized to investigate our common issues and goals. During the meeting, we have an opportunity to observe water policy of Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Mongolia, New Zealand and the Philippines and share the views on what needs to be done to move forward by decision makers for the future of water. In conclusion, the process of developing the decision makers' platform in each region would be ultimately essential point to increase the awareness of the developed and developing countries' roles, knowledge to clarify roles and responsibilities of each stake holders and finally be a major actor for resolving not only water challenges also issues of human settlements.

The regional innovation policies so far have been separated from the social problems facing the local communities. The regional innovation policies, regarding the region as the location of the business, have focused on the invigoration of business innovation activities. However, as the recent emergence of the new paradigm of innovation policy aiming the sustainability, 'transformative innovation policy,' has led to a search for regional innovation policies that begin with solving the local social problems. This research paper deals with regional innovation theory that starts from searching for solutions and system transformation for social problems such as climate crisis and energy problems. The objective is to present a new framework called 'transformative regional innovation policy' and to improve its content through case studies by combining the results of the transformative innovation policy and the regional innovation policy studies. In particular, the contribution of this paper is to analyze and discuss the concept of the transition platform, which aims to solve the local social problems, through the case studies of Gussing, Austria and Esbjerg, Denmark. Lastly, it discusses the derived implications of the cases applied in Korean society.

E-Business Platform for SMEs in GMS Countries(GMSEB) is a E-business service portal which based on Yunnan, face to ASEAN, connect with China's mainland. lt is established by Kunming Dongxun Sic&Tech Co.,Ltd and E-Business Centre of Yunnan University of Financial & Economics, who get supports from UNESCAP, Science and Technology Department of Yunnan Provincial and Yunnan SMEs Bureau. The portal will bulid a B2B & B2C E-business and. ASP portal to provide service of e-business and enterprise management informatization according with the different languages and situation to China and GMS countries. The paper starts with analysis of the policy in China of promoting GMS cooperation and exchanges, importance of Yunnan and cultural universality in GMS countries. It expounds the necessity of establishing such a regional e-commerce platform. The project explores how to develop the model of e-business and enterprise management informationization for SMEs under the condition of weak economic strength and scarcity of Information Technology talents. To promote the SMEs in GMS countries participate in the integration with the global economy through the international SMEs'E-business Platform, make a fairly rapid progress by full play to its advantages.

In a coastal area, a plenty of research has adopted remotely sensed data. This is because longterm interaction between land and ocean makes continuous geographical changes in a broad extent and unaccessible areas. However, conventional remote sensing platforms such as satellite or airplane has several disadvantages including limited temporal resolution and high operational costs. Hence, this study uses a UAV system to detect a coastline and its movement. Result of coastline detection shows how the coastline moves in a day. Time-series coastlines were derived from UAV aerial images through digital image processing. There is a drawback in the stability of UAV compared to the conventional remote sensing platform, but the advantage appears on the economical efficiency. Since the latest studies shows an improvement of UAV for a variety of purposes in many fields, a UAV can also be utilized for regional study and spatial data acquisition platform. geography can also utilize a UAV as a spatial data acquisition platform for regional study.

As COVID-19 has been converted to an endemic with social distancing lifted, people are getting used to new cultures and lifestyles that are different from before. While the world is now adapting to rapidly changing trends, Christian education is facing a crisis without being able to respond to these changes. Therefore, a new Christian education method is now required. The purpose of this study is to suggest a new Christian education method that allows Christians to properly lead a new era as an alternative to Christian education that is experiencing such a crisis. The study also presents the metaverse Christian education platform, which is a detailed and practical method of Christian education, by incorporating the platform and metaverse that are under the spotlight in the post-Corona era into Christian education. Here, the christian educational platform refers to the system, space, and various materials that can make Christian education efficient and smooth. The metaverse Christian education platform consists of 4 stages according to the size of the platform to activate supply and demand within the platform. Stage 1 is a home education platform, Stage 2 is a community education platform, Stage 3 is a regional union education platform, and Stage 4 is an educational mission platform. The last Stage 4, the educational mission platform utilized the metaverse, which is drastically expanding in the present era, as a method of educational mission. It is meaningful that the educational mission has been embodied by providing small churches and the next generation in underdeveloped countries with educational contents, educational materials, online mentors, virtual communities, and real-time educational broadcasts within the educational platform, using virtual spaces in the metaverse.

Smart City is the regional innovation platform that actively utilizes information and communication technologies to diversify city services and improve the performance and quality, hence improving the quality of life and creating new trends of urban activities. Recently, the importance of citizen participation is increasingly emphasized to build smart cities successfully and the Living Lab, an open innovation platform led by users, is taking center stage as a means of realizing it. Accordingly, this study aims to establish the plans for popularizing living labs that provide innovative environments for domestic smart cities. To this end, first of all, political trends related to domestic smart cities' living labs were analyzed, and then, individual characteristics and development processes of the relevant cases were investigated. In addition, in-depth interviews were conducted with the experts of specialized agencies from Netherlands, Finland, and Denmark, etc. which are considered as leading countries in smart cities' living labs. As a result, in order to popularize living labs in domestic smart cities, the following policies were proposed; establishing support systems for commercialization and dissemination, building intermediary support organizations, improvement of laws and institutions, establishing the joint response systems with neighboring areas, etc.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to improve the efficiency of the activities of loosely connected network organization through the platform(Ba) of knowledge sharing. Loosely connected network organizations have been tried to promote new work and complement the scarce resources through collaborations. NPO(Non-Profit Organization) is essential to establish cooperation networks in order to achieve the public interest on the basis of scarce resources. This study interpreted the Ba on the 'Change-On' program and analyzed the social networks of regional organizations through the activation of the Ba. The 'Change-On' program is conducted for several years to promote the efficiency of the NPO network by Daum Generation Foundation. Design/methodology/approach This study made a design to organize the Ba concept of Nonaka & Konno and presented a case of the Ba activated based on the NPO network of regional order. According to the social network analysis of regional cooperation within the network of participating organizations was extended, it was found that the principal plays a significant role as a central hub made. Findings According to the empirical analysis, this study illustrated that various types of network were formed among NPOs based on the 'Change-On'. Furthermore, the networks surrounding NPOs are extended to the other people connected to them. This means that the network of NPOs had been diversified via the facilitation of the Ba. This study throws new highlights on the new role for the Ba as a network promoter in addition to the partner as a technology-provider in the NPO ecosystem. Moreover, the network analysis between before-and-after can be used for the evaluation of the effectiveness of the various Ba programs.

Japan's manufacturing is mostly dependent on the automotive industry in Toyota-Kariya cities. However, the nearby city of Hamamatsu is the home of a start-up ecosystem known as Japan's Silicon Valley. How is it possible to evaluate the innovative potential of each regional industry? What kind of guidelines exist for continuing R&D investment when companies' net incomes are negative in the face of the 'Valley-of-Death' or financial crisis? Is it possible to measure the regional resilience ability in the context of the financial crisis? Entrepreneurial innovation is defined as a real-option portfolio consisting of investment decision to commercialize R&D findings. The subcontractor system implies a vertical and tight industrial group. However, a start-up ecosystem means a platform for horizontal and flexible partnership. In this research, the data include the financial indices of each of 18 public companies in both regions between FY2009 and FY2017. The objective of this paper is to clarify the call option or resilience function of equity for R&D investment in the context of the financial crisis in both regions by using Bayesian MCMC analysis.

This paper analyzes the advantages and opportunities of regional development prospects of the China (Anhui) Pilot Free Trade Zone. In addition, it provides suggestions for the future development of the Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone. The establishment of the Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone is a major platform for Anhui Province, China, to serve the nation's opening-up strategy to the world and an opportunity for the Anhui region to enhance the level of an open economy. The development plan points out that the Anhui Pilot Free Trade Zone 1) takes institutional innovation as the core, 2) complies with the requirements of the innovation-driven development and promotion of the Yangtze River Delta regional integration development strategy, and 3) plays a vital node role in promoting the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and 4) accelerates the construction of scientific and technological innovation sources, advanced manufacturing and strategic emerging industries. The findings of this study highlight three critical achievements as follows: 1) optimization and improvement of the business environment have progressed, 2) the conversion rate of scientific and technological innovation achievements has increased, and 3) advanced high-tech manufacturing and strategic emerging industries are clustered and developed.
