iOS GUI 디자인의 변화에 대한 어포던스 관점의 고찰 (A Study on Transformation of iOS GUI Design in the view of Affordance)

  • 본 연구는 iOS GUI 디자인의 변화에 함의된 어포던스의 변화와 이를 통한 어포던스 간의 관계를 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 선행연구를 통해 다양한 어포던스 개념을 도출하고 연구에 사용될 6가지 어포던스(본능적, 행동적, 반성적, 명시적, 메타포적, 패턴 어포던스)를 선정하고 iOS의 GUI 디자인 변화를 어포던스 관점에서 고찰하여 다음과 같이 그 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, iOS GUI 디자인의 본능적 어포던스는 이미 충분한 반성적 어포던스를 형성하고 있어 이를 과감히 생략하거나 제거하고 있으며 이로 인해 보다 명확한 명시적 어포던스의 제공이 가능하다. 둘째, iOS의 행동적 어포던스와 패턴 어포던스는 사용 경험의 누적으로 인해 반성적 어포던스를 형성하고 있으며 이를 통해 새로운 패턴 어포던스를 형성하고 있으며 이는 또한 메타포적 어포던스의 기반 영역으로도 활용된다. 셋째, iOS의 플랫 디자인을 어포던스 관점에서 고찰해 본 결과, 본능적 어포던스의 감소로 인하여 시각적 표현 상의 제약이 줄어들게 되어 화면 공간의 여유, 컬러 변화의 자유, 명시적 어포던스의 제공 등이 가능하게 된 것도 그 원인 중 하나임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 본 연구에서는 본능적 어포던스가 사용경험 누적에 따라 반성적 어포던스를 형성하고 이는 메타포적 어포던스의 기반 영역으로 활용되며, 본능적 어포던스의 제거나 감소는 보다 명확한 명시적 어포던스를 제공하고 있으며 이를 통해 새로운 패턴 어포던스가 생성되는 어포던스 간의 상호작용에 의한 관계 변화 또한 고찰할 수 있었다.

  • Vegetation shows unique spectrum characteristics compared with other materials. If such characteristics are used, land change pattern can be determined. Thus, vegetation has an absorption belt and a reflective belt in visible and near infrared, and reflectance is very high. Then, various methods of monitoring vegetation paying attention to the absorption wavelength region and reflective region of vegetation are proposed. However, there are various problems in grasping change of vegetation by NDVI, PVI, etc. It is very difficult especially to remove various noise ingredients in the received satellite data. Until now, it is difficult to compensate for shadow effect when NDVI is used in vegetation analysis. The results is, if the shadow is about 60% the pixel will be wrongly classified as may be vegetation or not.

프로젝트 스펙트럼을 적용한 유아 인지 능력 및 학습양식 평가 (Use of the Project Spectrum in Assessment of Children's Cognitive Abilities)

  • This study analyzed the pattern of preschool children's abilities based on Project Spectrum and compared the relationship between intelligence domains with working styles of children. Generally, children showed both strengths and weaknesses in specific Spectrum domains, but some children had only strengths and others had only weaknesses without strengths. It appeared that working style does not relate to children's strong domains, but individual disposition was reflected by characteristics of the task. During both individual and group spectrum activities, children with strengths were more "easily engaged in activity", "confident", and "focused" than those without strong intelligence domains. During individual activities, the "reflective" domain showed children with strengths in intelligence domains are more reflective than those without strengths.

  • 사람으로부터 나오는 신호는 다양하고 그 데이터의 양도 매우 많다. 이러한 신호는 누구에게나 똑같이 발생하는 것이 아니기 때문에 각각의 사람마다 발생하는 신호를 분석하면 그 사람의 건강을 분석할 수 있는 중요한 자료로서 사용되어질 수 있다. 본 시스템은 인체의 손끝은 장부와 연결되어 손끝의 정보를 활용하면 건강을 진단할 수 있다는 한의학적 진단방법을 활용하여 인체 손끝에서 나오는 맥, 온도, 저항을 반사형 포토센서로 측정하여 이를 분석하고 장부의 허실을 판단하여 건강을 진단하는 시스템이다.

  • In this paper, we have proposed an architectural solution for a system for the visualization and modification of large amounts of data. The pattern is based on an asynchronous execution of programmable commands and a reflective approach of an object structure composition. The described pattern provides great flexibility, which helps adopting it easily to custom application needs. We have implemented a system based on the described pattern. The implemented system presents an innovative approach for a dynamic data object initialization and a flexible system for asynchronous interaction with data sources. We believe that this system can help software developers increase the quality and the production speed of their software products.

  • Recently, many researches on the development of super-hydrophobic and anti-reflective surfaces have been concentrated on the fabrication of nano-patterned products. The nano-patterned mold is a key to replicate nano-patterned products by mass production techniques such as injection molding and UV molding. The present paper proposes fabricating nano-patterned mold with cost-effective method. The nano-pattern molded was fabricated by electroforming the anodic aluminum oxide template without E-beam lithography. The final mold with nano-patterns showed the pores with the diameter of $100{\sim}120$ nm and the height of 150 nm was fabricated.

  • The optical film for light luminance improvement of BLU that is used in LCD/LED and retro-reflective film is used as luminous sign consist of square and triangular pyramid structure pattern based on V-shape micro prism pattern. In this study, we analyzed machining characteristics of Cu-plated flat mold by shaping with diamond tool. First, cutting conditions were optimizing as V-groove machining for the experiment of micro prism structure mold machining with prism pattern shape, cutting force and roughness. Second, the micro prism structure such as square and triangular pyramid pattern were machined by cross machining method with optimizing cutting conditions. Burr and chip shape were discussed with material properties and machining method.

패션디자인에 활용된 빛의 유형 분석 (A Study on the Type of Light in Fashion Design)

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis types of light and to find the characteristics of light in contemporary fashion design. In a scientific context, light is electromagnetic radiation of a wavelength that has the characteristics of straightness, reflection, refraction, scattering and diffraction. But in philosophical speculations, light has been used as a metaphor of 'being', 'to-be' or 'enlightenment.' And through the ages, people have tried to represent and apply the light into plastic art like painting and architecture. The types of light in fashion design was categorized as those; reflective light from the surface of clothing which is the result of interaction between illumination and material, representative light as the pattern of light or light effect such as sun or its rays and optical or psychedelic patterns, luminescent light from light emitting material like phosphorescence or LED which combines into fashion design, projective light from a medium to reveal virtual patterns on the surface or a fashion design itself using holography. These lights in fashion design can be considered as reflection of emphasis of sexuality, longing for fantasy and mystique, visualization of interaction and communication and groping for the play.

Treatment Effect of a Modified Melodic Intonation Therapy (MMIT) in Korean Aphasics

  • The present study attempted to modify the conventional Melodic Intonation Therapy (MIT) in three aspects: number of syllables of adjacent target utterances (ATU), melody patterns of ATU, and initial listening of melody and intoned speech with the eyes closed. The modified Melodic Intonation Therapy (MMIT) was applied to two severe Korean aphasics. The patients exhibited a severely nonfluent aphasia resulting from a left CVA(Cerebrovascular Accident). The purpose of the modification was to avoid perseveration and improve reflective listening skills. First, the treatment program avoided ATU with the same number of syllables. Second, four different patterns of melody were developed: rising type, falling type, V-type, and inverted V-type. One type of prosodic pattern was preceded and followed by another type of melody. These two variations were to decrease perseverative behaviors. Finally, the patients kept their eyes closed when the clinician played and hummed a target melody at the initial stage of the program in order to improve reflective listening skills. A single-subject alternating treatment design was used. The effects of MMIT were compared to the conventional MIT. Differing the number of syllables and the type of melodic patterns decreased perseverative behaviors and produced more correct names. The initial listening of the target melody with the patients' eyes closed seemed to increase their attentiveness and result in a more fluent production of target utterances. Probable reasons for the effectiveness of MMIT were discussed.
