모터 파라미터 변화에 강인한 안정도 최대화 PI 제어기 설계 (Design of Robust Stability Maximizing PI Controller in Motor Parameter Variation)

  • This paper propose a PI controller that maximizes the degree of stability using a stability in a simplified motor model the applies decoupling control. The PI controller gains are directly from the motor parameters, thereby reducing the element of trial and error, and, the Kharitonov equation was used to evaluate the robustness of the gains to changes in the motor parameters. In addition, the system poles are located in the same position, the proposed method can provide a fast response. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified by simulation results.

Super-Twisting Sliding Mode Control Design for Cascaded Control System of PMSG Wind Turbine

  • This study focuses on an advanced second-order sliding mode control strategy for a variable speed wind turbine based on a permanent magnet synchronous generator to maximize wind power extraction while simultaneously reducing the mechanical stress effect. The control design based on a modified version of the super-twisting algorithm with variable gains can be applied to the cascaded system scheme comprising the current control loop and speed control loop. The proposed control inheriting the well-known robustness of the sliding technique successfully deals with the problems of essential nonlinearity of wind turbine systems, the effects of disturbance regarding variation on the parameters, and the random nature of wind speed. In addition, the advantages of the adaptive gains and the smoothness of the control action strongly reduce the chatter signals of wind turbine systems. Finally, with comparison with the traditional super-twisting algorithm, the performance of the system is verified through simulation results under wind speed turbulence and parameter variations.

전기.유압펌프 시스템의 설계 및 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design and Control of Electro-Hydraulic Pump System)

  • The study deals with controlling the velocity of hydraulic motor with PI controller through the control of displacement pump which has higher efficiency than valve-controlled system. This was done as follows. First, we modified original displacement pump and designed this electrohydraulic puma system. Second, after experimenting static and dynamic characteristics, we identified system parameter of approximated model. Lastly, to control the velocity of hydraulic motor we controlled the angle of the swash plate of displacement pump. Test carried out in the laboratory shows that transient and steady state response could be improved by PI controller reducing power loss.

  • This paper presents a comprehensive study result on reducing commutation torque ripples generated in brushless dc motor drives with only a single dc-link current sensor provided. In brushless dc motor drives with only a single current sensor, the commutation torque ripple suppression that is practically effective in low speed as well as high speed regions has not been reported. A proposed commutation compensation technique based on deadbeat dc-link current controller takes a closed loop control scheme and a parameter insensitive property. The proposed control method is verified through simulations and experiments.

  • 본 논문은 신경회로망 기법을 이용하여 직접벡터제어 방식의 문제점을 개선하고자 하였다. 직접벡터제어 방식은 히스테리시스 밴드 폭의 변화로 인해 유도전동기 속도제어 시 맥동이 큰 단점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 학습을 통해 오차를 감소시키는 신경회로망 기법을 사용하여 기존의 직접벡터제어 방식에서 발생하던 속도 맥동을 개선하였다.

  • Surface texturing of tribological application is another attractive technology of friction reducing. Also, reduction of friction is therefore considered to be a necessary requirement for improved efficiency of machine. In this paper attempts to investigate the effect of density for micro-scale dimple pattern on bearing steel flat mated with pin-on-disk. We demonstrated the lubrication mechanism for a Stribeck curve, which has a relationship between the friction coefficient and a dimensionless parameter for lubrication condition. It is found that friction coefficient is depended on the density of surface pattern. It was thus verified that micro-scale dimple could affect the friction reduction.Lubrication condition regime has an influence on the friction coefficient induced the density of micro dimple.

  • 최근 초고화질 해상도(UHD) 영상 서비스에 따른 기존의 비디오 압축 기술인 H.264/AVC 대비 두 배 이상의 압축 성능을 가지는 HEVC(High-Efficiency Video Codec)의 표준화가 완료되었다. 그러나 높은 압축 효과를 얻기 위하여 복잡한 연산이 필요한 기법들이 많이 도입되어 HEVC의 부호화 복잡도는 H.264/AVC보다 크게 증가되었다. 예로써 HEVC의 화면내 예측 부호화는 예측 방향를 최대 35개까지 확장함으로써 기존 H.264/AVC에 비해서 향상된 부호화 효율을 갖지만 화면내 부호화의 복잡도는 크게 증가되어 복잡도 감소 기법이 필요하다. 본 논문은 화면내 예측 부호화에 사용되는 예측 방향 35가지를 비디오 해상도와 양자화 파라미터 크기를 고려하여 4가지 모드로 나누고 비디오 해상도의 따른 PU(Prediction Unit)의 크기의 점유율에 따라 예측 방향 개수를 변경함으로써 계산 복잡도를 감소시키는 기법을 제안한다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안된 기법을 적용함으로써 대략 2%의 BD-rate 증가로 부호화 시간을 4% 감소시킬 수 있었다.

Studies on the Degree of Genetic Divergence for Different Quantitative Traits Between Paremntal Lines of Silkworm, Bombyx mori L., Hybrids

  • A study was conducted to establish the degree of genetic divergence between different hybrid forms and rearing conditions through estimation of the minimum number of genes (allelic pairs) differentiating parents in terms of specific quantitative traits. It was established that the minimum gene numbers differentiating parental lines in the inheritance of cocoon was 1, of cocoon shell weight- between 1 and 2, and of silk filament length- between 2 and 3. The variability in the specific genetic parameter could be explained by the reliability of the statistical-and-genetic method used and the expression of genes affecting the formation of each of the characters tested. Gene expression, in its turns is conditioned both by the gene interaction within the genotypes and the different genotype response to environmental change. To go deep in the problem, experiments should be conducted under strictly controlled conditions, reducing the mathematical-and-genetic analysis to a physiological levels and hence to analyse the genetic nature of the specific quantitative character formation and its genetic control.

  • This paper presents a study on fuzzy speed and flux controller used in a vector control of a CRPWM(Current Ragulated PWM) induction motor drive. In this paper, an approach for an easier design of the fuzzy controller is presented in order to obtain the desired value for the response time with minimal overshoot and to improve the steady state performance for speed step commands. The fuzzy controller is constructed only upon the knowledge of the motor behaviour and the desired speed response, and provides fast and robust control by reducing the effects of nonlinearities, parameter changes and load disturbance. The results of applying the fuzzy logic controller to an IM drive system are compared with those obtained by application of a conventional PI controller. The fuzzy controller provided a better response than the PI controller.

  • Robust design in industry is an a, pp.oach to reducing performance variation of quality characteristic value in products and processes. Taguchi has used the signal-to-noise raio(SN) to achieve the a, pp.opriate set of operating conditions where variablity around target is low in the Taguchi parameter design. Taguchi has dealt with having constraints on both the mean and variability of a characteristic (the dual response problem) by combining information on both mean and variability into an SN. Many Statisticians criticize the Taguchi techniques of analysis, particularly those based on the SN. In this paper we propose a substantially simpler optimization procedure for robust design to solve the dual response problems without resorting to SN. Two examples illustrate this procedure in the two different experimental design(product array, combined array) a, pp.oaches.
