소실모형 주조시 알루미늄 합금 용탕의 수소 용해에 관한 연구 (Hydrogen Gas Pick-Up of Al-alloy Melt During Lost Foam Casting)

  • The hydrogen gas pick-up problem that can occur during Lost Foam Casting was investigated by reduced pressure test and practical Lost Foam Casting. The proper test pressure of reduced pressure test was determined by experiments not to use polystyrene and gas contents of the melt were calculated from density measurement results. The results showed that the hydrogen pick-up increased with the increased amount of polystyrene that was replaced by melt. The hydrogen pick-up was larger in the case of no degassed melt than that of degassed melt. So the hydrogen pick-up depended on the initial hydrogen content of the melt and the contact time of the melt with the decomposed gas phase. The mold evacuation decreased the hydrogen pick-up and increased the flow length of melt during Lost Foam Casting. And the error of calculated hydrogen pick-up was calculated by numerical method.

정전형여과집진방식에서 여과특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Filtration Performance Test with Electrostatically Enhanced Fabric Filter)

  • This study has been carried out to investigate the filteration performance of Electrostatically Stimulated Fabric Filter(ESFF) at high temperature condition. The electric field was maintained parallel to the fabric surface. The benefits of ESFF are lower residual pressure drop, improvement of fine particle removal efficiency and increasing reduced rate of pressure drop during a filteration cycle, stable operation at higher filtering velocities. According to the variance of filtering velocities and dust loadings, the results are summarized as follows; By imposing an electric field on the filter, the reduced rate of pressure drop was 7.sim.18% at room temperature, and when filtering velocity was 1.8m/min and dust loading was 1g/m$^{3}$, the value of reduced rate of pressure drop was shown the highest. Under the electric field around the filter, the reduced rate of pressure drop was 10.sim.35% at high temperature, and when filtering velocity was 1.8m/min and dust loading was 1g/m$^{3}$, the value of reduced rate of pressure drop was shown the highest. Most of all, at high temperature, the value of reduced rate of pressure drop was resulted to 25%. Also the collecting efficiency was shown clearly improved. By the SEM photo analysis, the number of penetrated particles at the Conventional Fabric Filter was approximately two times that of Electrostatically Stimulated Fabric Filter.

감압증발장치와 해수담수화의 조건 (Conditions of Desalination with Reduced Pressure Evaporation Device)

  • 감압증발장치는 압력을 감소시켜 물의 끓는점을 낮춰주는 원리를 이용한 것으로 온도를 높이는데 필요한 에너지 소모량을 줄일 수 있는 원리로 사용되고 있다. 즉, 온도와 압력의 상관관계 원리를 이용한 것이다. 감압증발장치를 이용하여 해수의 온도별 포화증기압을 적용하여 증발량 실험을 한 결과 $80^{\circ}C$, -40 cmHg의 경우가 가장 많은 증발량을 나타내었으며, 해수의 농도에 따른 인자 실험의 결과에서는 농도가 짙을수록 증발량이 많이 발생하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 압력에 따른 인자 실험의 결과 낮은 압력에서 증발량이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 결과적으로 증발량의 중요인자는 농도가 큰 부분으로 작용하였으며 다음 요인은 온도로 나타났으며 마지막 요인으로 압력을 들 수 있었다. 본 실험을 통하여 감압증발장치를 이용한 담수화 조건을 확인 할 수 있었다.

캡스기초공법의 하중경감효과에 관한 모형시험 (The Model Test on Load Reduction Effect of Caps Foundation Method)

  • 캡스기초공법은 조립골재층의 아칭효과를 이용하여 건물의 하중을 경감시키는 기초공법이지만, 아직까지 이에 대한 검증은 부족한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 캡스기초공법 적용에 따른 하중의 경감효과를 정량적으로 입증하기 위해 캡스기초블록을 이용한 실내모형시험을 수행하였다. 실내모형시험은 캡스기초블록의 크기와 하중 재하판의 면적에 따라 모두 6가지 조건으로 실시하였으며, 모형 토조 내 3곳에서 재하 하중의 크기에 따른 토압의 변화를 관찰하였다. 시험 결과 캡스기초블록의 크기와 하중 재하판의 면적에 관계없이 하중 재하 지점과 가장 가까운 위치에서 토압이 가장 크게 나타났으며, 하중 재하 위치에서 멀어질수록 토압은 작게 나타났다. 토압이 가장 크게 나타난 위치에서 재하판의 면적이 30 cm × 30 cm 일 때 축소블록에 의한 토압은 블록이 없는 경우의 토압에 비해 평균 35.4 %, 표준블록은 평균 39.7 % 경감되었다. 또한, 재하판의 면적이 60 cm×60 cm 일 때 축소블록의 토압은 블록이 없는 경우의 토압에 비해 평균 33.9%, 표준블록은 평균 42.7 % 경감되었다. 따라서 조립골재의 아칭효과를 이용한 캡스기초공법을 적용한다면 축소블록의 경우 33 %, 표준블록의 경우 39 % 이상 하중경감효과가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

반복재하후 미액상화 풍화토 지반의 변형 거동 (Post-Cyclic Deformation Behavior of Non-Liquefied Weathered Soils)

  • Weathered soil is one of the most representative soils in Korea. In this study, a series of cyclic triaxial tests was carried out to predict the post-cyclic deformation behavior of weathered soils in case of non-liquefaction. Excess pore pressure response during cyclic loading and volumetric strain during the dissipation of excess pore pressure were measured varying the confining pressure, relative density and cyclic stress ratio. Based on the test results, it Is found that the modified excess pore pressure ratio, excess pore pressure ratio normalized by cyclic stress ratio, is uniquely correlated with the number of cycles irrespective of confining pressure and cyclic stress ratio. Using the newly proposed MEPPR(modified excess pore pressure ratio) concept, it is possible to easily evaluate the excess pore pressure and the settlement of weathered soils due to cyclic loading by greatly reduced number of tests. It is also verified that the reconsolidation volumetric strain is independent of the way how the excess pore pressure was generated.

마이크로채널과 핀 튜브 열교환기를 적용한 가정용 에어컨디셔너의 성능 평가 (Evaluation of Performance of a Residential Air-Conditioning System Using Microchannel and Fin-and-Tube Heat Exchanger)

  • In this study the seasonal performance of a residential air conditioning system having either a fin-and-tube condenser or a microchannel condenser is experimentally investigated. A commercially available 7 kW capacity residential air conditioning system having a fin-and-tube condenser served as the base system. The test results show that the system with a microchannel heat exchanger has a reduced refrigerant charge amount of 10%, the coefficient of performance is increased by 6% to 10%, and the SEER is increased by 7% as compared with those of the base system. Moreover, the condensing pressure of the system is decreased by 100 kPa and the pressure drop across the condenser is decreased by 84%. The microchannel heat exchanger enhances the SEER of the residential air conditioning system by providing better heat transfers at reduced pressure drops.

복식호흡이 상.하지 수술 환자의 수술 전 불안과 혈압에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Abdominal Breathing on the Preoperative Anxiety and Blood Pressure of Upper and Lower Limbs Surgical Patients)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study were to examine the effects of abdominal breathing on preoperative anxiety and blood pressure. Methods: The research was a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were 60 patients that operated on under local anesthetic. Thirty subjects in the experimental group and 30 subjects in the control group. Data on anxiety and blood pressure for this study were collected from them. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, $X^2$-test, paird t-test. Results: After abdominal breathing, there was a statistically significant decline in the psychological anxiety level of the experimental group. With regard to the physical anxiety level, no statistically significant drop was detected in blood pressure. Conclusion: The findings of the study confirmed that abdominal breathing reduced preoperative anxiety of upper and lower limbs surgical patients.

공기압이 바이어스 플라이 타이어의 견인 성능에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Inflation Pressure on Tractive Performance of Bias-Ply Tires)

  • This study was intended to investigate experimentally the effect of inflation pressure on tractive performance of bias-ply tires for agricultural tractors. Traction tests were conducted at the three velocities of 3, 4, and 5.5km/h under few different surface conditions using a 13.6-28 6PR bias-ply tire as driving wheel of the test tractor. When the inflation pressure was reduced from 250kPa to 40kPa by a decrement of either 30 or 50kPa depending upon the test surface conditions, some of the test results showed that the tractive coefficient and efficiency were increased maximally by 40% and 17%, respectively, at 20% slippage. However, it was failed to derive any consistent rules depicting the effect of inflation pressure of bias ply tires on the tractive performance of tractors.

모형실험 및 현장계측을 통한 배수형 쉴드터널의 작용수압 저감 평가 (The study on the hydraulic pressure reduction of drainage shield tunnel using model test and field instrumentation)

  • 본 연구에서는 배수형 쉴드터널 적용시 작용수압의 저감을 평가하기 위해 모형실험장치를 개발하여 배수 및 비배수 조건에서 작용수압 차이를 실험하였다. 모형실험 결과 배수 조건에서 간극수압 증가율이 감소하는 경향을 보였고, 비배수 조건에 비해 전응력이 더 작게 나타나 모형터널 내 지하수 유입에 의해 작용수압이 저감되는 것으로 나타났다. 현장계측 결과 쉴드터널 배면 지반 내 작용수압은 지하수위로 계산되는 수압($r_w{\cdot}H$)보다 약 11~22%정도 적게 나타났다. 모형실험 및 현장계측 결과에서 배수 및 비배수 조건의 이론적인 설계수압과 작용수압의 차이가 나타났는데, 배수형 쉴드터널 적용시 기존 설계수압보다 감소된 수압을 적용하는 것이 가능할 것으로 판단되며, 수압 감소를 통해 세그먼트 단면 축소도 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

Numerical studies of the failure modes of ring-stiffened cylinders under hydrostatic pressure

  • The present paper illustrates a numerical investigation on the failure behaviour of ring-stiffened cylinder subjected to external hydrostatic pressure. The published test data of steel welded ring-stiffened cylinder are surveyed and collected. Eight test models are chosen for the verification of the modelling and FE analyses procedures. The imperfection as the consequences of the fabrication processes, such as initial geometric deformation and residual stresses due to welding and cold forming, which reduced the ultimate strength, are simulated. The results show that the collapse pressure and failure mode predicted by the nonlinear FE analyses agree acceptably with the experimental results. In addition, the failure mode parameter obtained from the characteristic pressure such as interframe buckling pressure known as local buckling pressure, overall buckling pressure, and yield pressure are also examined through the collected data and shows a good correlation. A parametric study is then conducted to confirm the failure progression as the basic parameters such as the shell radius, thickness, overall length of the compartment, and stiffener spacing are varied.
