3고조파를 이용한 PM BLDC 전동기 구동을 위한 센서리스 제어 (Sensorless Control of PM BLDC Motor Drive Using Third Harmonic)

  • 본 논문에서는 고정자의 제 3고조파 전압 성분을 이용하여 브러시리스 직류 전동기의 회전자 위치를 간접 검출하는 방법을 제안하였다. 3고조파 성분은 회전자의 위치 정보를 가지고 있고 이 전압을 이용하여 전환 신호(Commutation signal)를 만들어 낼 수 있다. 따라서 전환 신호를 이용하여 구형파 전류 여자 브러시리스 직류 전동기를 센서리스로 운전하는 방식은 상지연 필터가 필요하지 않고 하드웨어적으로 전류의 전환 시점이 결정되므로 센서리스 드라이브용 프로세서의 부담을 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 역기전력 파형과 상전류가 비교적 정확한 동기를 유지할 수 있으므로 넓은 속도 범위에서 안정적인 센서리스 운전이 가능한 방법이다.

  • This paper introduces the design concepts and characteristics of WinDS3000$^{TM}$ which is a trade mark of Doosan's 3MW offshore/onshore wind turbine. WinDS3000$^{TM}$ has been designed in consideration of high RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Serviceability) and cost effectiveness for the TC Ia condition in GL guideline. An integrated drive train design with an innovative three-stage gearbox has been introduced to minimize nacelle weight of the wind turbine and to enhance a high reliability for transmission. A permanent magnet generator with full converter system has been introduced to get higher efficiency in part load operation, and grid friendliness use of 50 Hz and 60 Hz grid. A pitch regulated variable speed power control with individual pitch system has been introduced to regulate rotor torque while generator reaction torque can be adjusted almost instantaneously by the associated power electronics. An individual pitch control system has been introduced to reduce fatigue loads of blade and system. The wind turbine has been also equipped with condition monitoring and diagnostic systems in order to meet maintainability requirements. And internal maintenance crane in nacelle has been developed. As a result, the maintenance cost was dramatically reduced and maintenance convenience also enhanced in offshore condition.

  • 브러시리스(brushless) DC 전동기는 회전자의 위치에 따라 3상 중 2상에 전류를 흐르게 하는 방식으로 구동되며 회전자의 위치를 검출하기 위해서는 홀센서나 엔코더등과 같은 자기식 또는 광학식 위치 검출 센서가 사용되는데 이러한 센서들은 고온이나 저온에서 원치 않는 동작을 유발할 수 있고 전동기의 가격과 부피를 증가시키는 단점이 있다. 최근에는 전동기의 가격과 부피적 측면 그리고 강건성을 고려하여 센서리스(Sensorless) 전동기 구동에 관한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문은 전동기를 Unipolar PWM 방법으로 고속으로 회전시킬 경우 발생되는 노이즈에 의해 Zero Crossing Point 관측이 어려워 정확한 제어가 용이하지 않은 문제점을 개선하여 드라이버의 수명을 증대시키면서 고속에서도 노이즈를 최소화 할 수 있는 새로운 스위칭 방법을 제안한다.

Two-Level 전압 인가에 의한 전자접촉기 구동 전력 저감 (Reduce Power of Magnetic Contactor using the Two-Level Apply Voltage)

  • Currently, due to the rapid increase in power demand and the increase in capacity of power converters, the capacity of electromagnetic contactors is also increasing, and the burden on SMPS for the power that can drive them is increasing. Although the initial starting operation current of an electromagnetic contactor is significantly larger than the holding current for maintaining contact, most electromagnetic contactors apply the same voltage as the initial starting operation. An electromagnetic contactor must continuously apply a holding current to maintain the contact point, and the larger the capacity, the larger the current must be applied. This paper proposes a two-level magnetic contactor drive that allows setting the initial starting operation current to fully attach the contact point of the magnetic contactor and the holding current to maintain subsequent operation. In addition, a low-cost drive topology of analog and digital methods was proposed for various field applications, and an algorithm based on the ripple of the excitation current was proposed to determine whether the magnetic contactor was opened or closed without using a separate contact point. The feasibility of the proposed method was proven through Psim simulation experiments.

산림바이오매스 수집용 칩하베스터의 개발과 생산성 및 비용 분석 (Development of Chip-harvester for Collecting Forest Biomass and an Analysis of Productivity and Cost of Operation)

  • 산림바이오매스의 효율적인 수집 및 운반을 위하여 칩하베스터를 개발하고 작업 생산성 및 비용을 분석하였다. 칩하베스터의 주요 목표제원은 속도 8 km/hr, 최대등판능력 $30^{\circ}$, 최대적재량 2,000 kg 등이고, 차체구조는 회전반경을 줄이기 위하여 차체굴절식을 채택하고, 주행장치는 6륜 구동으로 후륜은 접지력을 높이기 위하여 탠덤보기방식을 채택하였다. 개발된 칩하베스터의 주행테스트 결과, 칩 적재시 ${\pm}10%$ 경사에서 각각 6.9 km/hr, 8.1 km/hr로 나타났다. 또한, 공차시 ${\pm}10%$ 경사에서 각각 7.3 km/hr, 7.9 km/hr로 나타났다. 따라서, 주행성능은 개발목표를 달성하였다고 판단된다. 작업생산성 및 비용을 분석한 결과, 파쇄 및 운반의 작업생산성은 약 $10m^3$/일이었으며, 작업비용은 393,126원/일로 나타났다.

  • A lot of design guidelines have been proposed for menu-drive interfaces, but they are applicable only to the menus on ordinary CRT displays. Many hardware products, however, cannot employ large displays because of the cost and space limitations. Instead, a single-line display menu (SDM) is widely used, and the designers need useful guidelines applicable to the SDM. A focus is often placed upon the optimal menu structure, but only the standard menu structures, such as $64^{\1}, 8^{\2}, 4^{\3}, and 2^{\6}$, are tested for optimality. In many cases, however, ill defined or asymmetric structures are suggested as design alternatives. To determine the optimal menu structure, user performance should be obtained in terms of quantitative measures for each of the optional structures considered. Hence, a model is needed to provide a predicted value of user performance for a given menu structure. Although severaal models have been proposed for ordinary menus, none is available for the SDM yet. A performance model was developed in this study using the neural network approach. A The model developed in this study is capable of providing quantiative measures of human performance for any menu structures without conducting additional experiments, which will save much time and reduce the design cost.

제품의 유지보수를 위한 볼트 식별체계 (Systematical Discrimination of Bolt for Maintenance)

  • In this paper, we analyze the standards of the bolts for maintaining the products. The maintainer don't know the detail information of bolts by seeing the shape of bolts when they repair the products. So they waste much time and cost. To solve the these problem, we propose the new systematical discrimination of bolts. To propose the discrimination code, we divide the shapes of the bolts into four classes(head, internal drive, shank and end). User can fine preferentially similar standards by just the shapes of bolts under the this discrimination code. And, User can find the standards of bolts that they want by using the additional information such as measurements. We will reduce the cost and time for the maintaining the products by using the proposed discrimination code.

  • In this paper, four switches three-phase Z-source dynamic harmonic filter is proposed. It has many advantages, such as reduction of the cost, switching loss and smaller drive circuit. In order to reduction harmonics, new PWM modulation technique with a variable index has been suggested that in comparison with a fixed index type has more capability. The paper presents an application of direct current control(DCC) method in Z-source dynamic harmonic filter to reduce the harmonics generated by the non-linear load. The experimental results will verify the validity of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, a low cost magnetic position sensor for linear position detection is proposed. The proposed magnetic sensor can be applied to the linear motor which has stator with periodical teeth, such as transverse flux linear motor(TFLM). Sine and cosine waves can be generated from the unit sensor module as the linear motor moves, and the outputs can be converted to the position data by interpolation IC. To reduce the speed ripple caused by the position error, the Luenberg observer is introduced. The validity of the proposed magnetic position sensor is verified by experiment with a 750N three-phase TFLM.

  • Brushless DC Motor(PM BLDCM) is widely used in industrial applications due to its high efficiency and power density. In order to increase reliability and reduce system cost, this paper studies particularly applicable method for sensorless PM BLDCM drive system. The resulting third harmonic signal keeps a constant phase relationship with the rotor flux for any motor speed and load condition, and is practically free of noise that can be introduced by the inverter switching, making this a robust sensing method. As a result, the method described here is not sensitive to filtering delays, allowing the motor to achieve a good performance over a wide speed range. In addition, a simple starting method and a speed estimation approach are also proposed.
